Fighting on the Vremievsky Bulge has been going on since the beginning of the counteroffensive by Ukrainian formations against the Russian defenses. By the end of July, the front line has stabilized: Russian troops withdrew from Novodorovka to the lakes and heights located to the south.
Ukrainian formations did not abandon their attempts to squeeze the Russian Armed Forces from the held lines.
