NATO tried to give the impression they had a grand plan to defeat Russia, but the truth is they were winging it all along, and an unimaginable number of men were sacrificed for their stupidity. Those brave Ukrainians who gave their lives mean absolutely nothing to our leaders.
By the time this war is over, all that will have been achieved is that Ukraine will be in ruins and Putin will emerge stronger than ever. That’s assuming we don’t see the mother of all heatwaves this summer.
And by heatwaves, I’m talking about fully automatic nukes that will all be launched at once when the button is pushed with no way of stopping them. Don’t expect a small nuclear exchange — it would be all or nothing thing.
I’m not sure people realize how these things work so let me explain in the best way a non-nuclear scientist can: the hypersonic speeds and manoeuvrability of ICBMs, combined with their decoy missiles, mean they are pretty much impossible to shoot down.
Imagine trying to shoot a bullet with another bullet, only the bullet is swerving all over the place and there’s a bunch of fake bullets so you don’t know which one to shoot at. That’s the kind of challenge we’d be facing. It’s hard to track ICBMs on radar and we probably wouldn’t know where they were going before it was too late.
Basically, our best bet is to hope David Grusch was right about the aliens, and they decide to save us from ourselves, but more than likely, they will laugh at the fact we’re about to vacate a nice bit of real estate for them.
If, by a miracle, we shot down one or two ICBMs, the numbers involved would be so large as to make it irrelevant. When those things detonate, millions of people in the northern hemisphere will be vaporized in an instant and they’ll be the lucky ones.
Nukes are designed to cause maximum damage over as wide an area as possible. To achieve this, the blasts are coordinated to trigger wildfires between them, meaning those who aren’t killed instantly face dying in agony shortly after.
If you somehow survive the wildfire, you will have the small matter of radiation sickness to look forward to, and if that doesn’t kill you, the nuclear winter will cause flesh to fall off your face like a ghoul from Fallout. Actually, I’ve no idea if the flesh thing is true, but the rest definitely is.
Basically, you’d be facing a slow, painful death which could only be made worse by listening to Michael Bolton on repeat play, or you’d be instantly incinerated at 100 million degrees Celsius. I know which I would prefer and it’s not the guy with the bad hair.
