According to the best information I can gather on short notice, I have been able to ascertain that current US production of the PAC-3 missiles typically used in the Patriot air defense systems is about ~500 per annum, at a cost of 4 — 6 million dollars each.
There are aspirations of increasing that rate to 650 per annum within the next year.
As for current US stocks of PAC-3 missiles, for the sake of argument, let’s allow for the possibility there are 5000 units (there aren’t near that many).
The consensus seems to be that the US can currently field ~500 operational launchers.
A single Patriot battalion typically consists of 6 batteries with 6 launchers each. Each of the 36 launchers can hold up to 16 PAC-3 missiles. So up to 576 PAC-3 missiles in a single-load of a Patriot battalion.
To prosecute war against Russia, China, or Iran, protection of the major forward bases of the United States Air Force would be the prerequisite upon which success would be predicated.
To adequately cover even one of these large airbases against missile strikes of just 100-200 units of high-performance drones, cruise-missiles, ballistic missiles, and hypersonic missiles — plus numerous decoys — would easily require an entire Patriot battalion.
Even with a 100% interception rate, a pair of 100-missile strike packages over the course of a day would still compel a PAC-3 burn rate of at least 300 missiles, given that, as a general rule, two PAC-3 missiles are launched at every incoming target.
But of course, the interception rate would be considerably lower than 100%. And given that the Patriot command, radar, and launcher units — along with missile storage sites — would be primary targets, there would be a substantial attrition rate of the highly immobile Patriot systems themselves. (The Russians have already clearly demonstrated the vulnerability of the Patriot systems to counter-battery missile strikes. At least three Patriot batteries have been destroyed in Ukraine.)
In an attempt to cover just three large airbases against a series of salvos of 100+ missiles of various types, the entire US stockpile of PAC-3 interceptors could very conceivably be exhausted in little more than a week or two.
Current annual production could easily be consumed in little more than a day or two.
This is the reality of 21st century high-intensity conflict against an adversary with the capability to shoot back — a kind of war for which the United States military is woefully ill-prepared, both materially and doctrinally.

The world looks on with horror, and apparent impotence, as more than 23,000 defenseless Palestinians, many of them women and children, have been killed, many more wounded since the October 7, 2023 bombing campaign by the Israeli armed forces, pulverizing Gaza, ostensibly in retaliation for the attack on Israel by Hamas on October 7, which killed approximately 1,500 Israelis.
Calls for a ceasefire from around the world are ignored, and, most shamefully of all, the United Nations Security Council, whose mandate requires it to uphold global peace and security, has, to date, remained impotent, failing to draft any resolution which would demand a cessation of the bombing; and despite the fact that United Nations workers themselves have also been killed as a consequence of the assault on Gaza, the Security Council has completely failed, as of this writing, to produce any resolutions which would halt this collective punishment of the Palestinians, which is now described as genocide.
It would be unfathomable why the UN Security Council permits this slaughter to continue, unabated;it is also unfathomable why the UN Security Council failed to demand that the Minsk Accords be complied with, which would have prevented the current prolonged war between Russia and Ukraine, and saved approximately half a million lives, slaughtered in a useless and preventable war. To make matters more scandalous were the admission by France and Germany that they never intended the Minsk Accords to be complied with, and that they cynically used the UN Security Council approval of the Minsk accords to buy time to strengthen the Ukrainian Army, for the purpose of shattering demolishing Russia.
The Historical Context
A study of the manipulation and abuse of the UN Security Council for the enactment of the geopolitical agenda of the Western powers, should begin with the 1990-1991 manipulation of the Security Council by the Western powers, just prior to the collapse of the Soviet Union, the USSR by then almost fatally weakened, and unable to withstand US/UK pressure. This study follows, including the exposure of the cynical and Machiavellian tactics used by the West to force through Security Council Resolution 678, which unleashed the pattern of slaughters for which the United Nations Security Council provided both authorization and “cover.”
An examination of overt and covert means by which Security Council approval for resolution 678 was obtained, the methods of coercion, intimidation and bribery by which Security Council members were drawn by the United States into tragic and shameful collaboration in passage of a resolution which has betrayed the very purpose for which the United Nations was originally created (“to prevent the scourge of war”) reveals the criminal and barbarous character or the “New World Order which the former Bush administration intended to impose throughout the world by the most violent means in human history.
On November 16, 1990 the Non-Aligned members of the Security Council drafted an initiative alerting the Security Council members to the risk: “Talk of war option establishes its own momentum which increases the risks of war.” The initiative states:
“1. Given the cultural gap and lack of direct, face-to-face communication between principal parties, and the overall atmosphere of suspicion, there is a high probability that any Iraqi ‘signal’ of ‘flexibility’ would either be ignored, discounted as insincere, or otherwise misinterpreted.”
“2. Given the overwhelming negative consequences now attached to withdrawal, Iraq is not likely to send a signal of flexibility that is sufficiently strong and clear to be understood until war is imminent, by which time it may be too late to stop the momentum toward war.”
Iraq’s Serious Efforts to Cooperate
The New York Times, December 2, 1990 stated:
“Neither President Bush nor Secretary of State James Baker 3rd responded publicly today to Iraq’s acceptance of Mr. Bush’s offer of talks on the Gulf crisis. But Administration officials rebuffed the Iraqi Government’s suggestion that any direct talks between Iraq and the US on Kuwait should deal with the issue of a Palestinian homeland. In its statement, Iraq welcomed the chance for the two countries to have ‘a deep and serious dialogue,’ but did not make its acceptance of Mr. Bush’s offer conditional on discussion of the Palestinian issue.’”
It would be difficult to misunderstand Iraq’s eagerness for dialogue, or to deny its flexibility. On November 29, following what the New York Times described as a “smoothly orchestrated” series of Security Council meetings (“disrupted today when Cuba complained that the Council is rushing into voting a new Persian Gulf crisis resolution before it has voted on an earlier resolution criticizing Israel’s treatment of Palestinians in the occupied territories…..The United States has been striving to delay a vote on the anti-Israel resolution until after the Council gives permission for military action against Iraq, because it would like to veto the measure. Such a reminder of the United States’ friendship with Israel would embarrass Washington’s Arab friends.”) inciting the psychological atmosphere necessary for passage of Resolution 678 (the Security Council listened to descriptions of Iraqi atrocities in Kuwait for two days, all sensationally reported by the New York Times.
But interestingly, the major media failed to mention a press conference in United Nations Room 226, given by Dr. Mohammad Said, and contradicting many of the statements describing Iraqi “atrocities” “smoothly orchestrated” in the Security Council chamber.
Dr. Said’s testimony and his description of the historical circumstances and context of the Iraqi invasion were documented extensively with videotapes (he has two half-brothers and other relatives in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia) and eyewitness reports from his travels in Kuwait and Iraq: he brought a view of both Iraq and Kuwait at odds with the picture painted by the American news media “and called for both sides to pursue a rational approach to peace based on a plan put forth by the Committee of Arab-Americans Against “US intervention in the Gulf.” His testimony was ignored by both the press and the Security Council.
US/UK Machiavellian Maneuvers Making War Inevitable
The War Resolution 678 was adopted, following a campaign of manipulation akin to gangster tactics (to be described in detail, later.) And as, legally, Security Council members opposing the War Resolution 678 could have legitimately obstructed its ignominious passage by demanding a procedural vote on which issue took precedence, and should be dealt with first: in fact, S. 219331, concerning the issue of Palestine, brought before the council on October 8, 1990 legally took precedence, and massive disruption of the “smoothly orchestrated ministerial level ‘war council’” could legitimately have been caused by Security Council members outraged by the brazenly displayed double standard of 12 hastily and threateningly passed resolutions in four months, punishing Iraq for its 4 month old occupation of Kuwait, and no effective resolutions protecting Palestinians in territories “occupied” by Israel after 20 years.
And with cynicism equivalent to utter contempt (November 29, Newsday report),
“The United States agreed informally last night to allow passage of a new Security Council resolution protecting Palestinians in the Israeli-occupied territories if the measure’s sponsors don’t raise the issue and disrupt today’s historic UN vote authorizing the use of force to oust Iraq from Kuwait, according to reliable diplomatic sources. Egyptian Ambassador Amre Moussa said the United States had agreed ‘in principle’ last night not to block the measure on the occupied territories and the sponsors of the resolution promised in return that “there won’t be any ‘show biz’ during today’s council meeting on Iraq and Kuwait.”
The Non-Aligned honored their agreement and the “War Resolution 678” passed without disruption or complication, or the disgrace that the Non-Aligned could have legitimately heaped upon the United States and it Foreign Ministerial collaborators. (In fact, a senior US official told an AP correspondent that the Non-Aligned would have “every reason to feel betrayed if they didn’t get cooperation on S/21933/Rev.1”).
The Famous / Infamous BBC “Leak”
On December 5, a resolution approved by the Permanent Five, including the United States Mission, and the Non-Aligned was drafted and scheduled for Security Council vote, as promised by the United States Mission, and the Non-Aligned was drafted and scheduled for Security Council vote, as promised by the United States, and would have, crucially, also met Iraq’s request for conditions enabling it to immediately and honorably withdraw from Kuwait, thereby averting a devastating war. “Interestingly,” the resolution, (acceptable to all, including, crucially, Iraq, and guaranteeing a peaceful solution) was “leaked” the evening of December 5 to a BBC reporter by “several of the usual reliable US diplomatic sources,” and immediately broadcast by the BBC as an “important shift in US” policy since “as part of negotiations on this resolution the Americans were proposing a reference in the Security Council resolution to a Middle East peace conference; this was the first time such a conference was mentioned in connection with the Security Council, and would be binding, implying further action of the kind Israel wouldn’t like.”
The premature BBC leak spotlighting the peace conference “caused (more accurately, enabled) Bush to immediately reject the “peace resolution,” and it was squashed. Though the BBC correspondent stated disingenuously that “this kind of proposal would have to have a green light from Washington”’ if it already did, the BBC “leak” relieved, and allowed Bush to “back off” from support for a resolution his administration never intended to support from the outset, though the US mission could appear to support it initially until the cooperative BBC “leak” enabled Washington to obstruct the “peace resolution” from coming to a vote at the Security Council, at which point the US would have vetoed it, exposing its own double standard. (Washington once stated: “it is not opposed to leaks, it simply wants to control them.”) Had the resolution passed, it might have offered protection to Palestinian civilians, and led to Iraq’s withdrawal from Kuwait, clearly something Washington and its British lackeys in cynical collaboration intended to prevent.
Cynical US/UK Postponements of Vote on Peace Restoration, Malaysia Protest Deception
Nevertheless, this cowardly and dishonorable ploy did not go unnoticed by many Ambassadors at the UN, accustomed to US conniving methods of interference in the domestic affairs of other countries: privately a majority of Ambassadors at the UN referred with disgust to the so-called “leak,” but they lacked a voice on the Security Council. Meanwhile, back at the Security Council events developed in an even more odious and disgraceful fashion: the meeting at the Security Council, scheduled for the afternoon on December 6, and at which the Non-Aligned Resolution S/21933.Rev.2 on Palestine should have been brought to a vote at the Security Council with US support, as promised on November 28, was then shifted to Friday morning, then to Friday evening, then to Saturday evening. On December 8, 1990, the Soviet Ambassador moved for postponement till December 10 (to spare the US the embarrassment of vetoing Res. 21933/Rev.2: Ambassador Razalli of Malaysia stated:
“I appeal to members of the Council to understand what the request for a postponement is all about. It is not to work towards a different formulation of paragraph 7; it is to work towards the exclusion of paragraph 7, which calls for the convening of an internal peace conference on the Middle East, in the interest of the position of an important member of the Council.”
Nevertheless, the meeting was postponed. At 3PM December 10, the Soviet Ambassador again moved the adjourn the meeting to Wednesday, December 12 at 6PM (again sparing the US the embarrassment of vetoing the Resolution and exposing its own double standards). The Representative of Malaysia again protested:
“For the record, too, let me say that the sponsors have made the maximum concession on the international conference. We have offered, in what may be called ‘Revision 3,’ if ever that revision clears the surface, to transpose paragraph 7 into the preamble and what is in the preamble into the operative part; this is a maximum concession that in many ways diluted many things on the matter of the international conference.”
To no avail, the meeting was adjourned until December 12 at 6PM. On December 12, the Deputy Ambassador of the Soviet Union proposed adjournment of the meeting to Monday, December 17 at 3PM. Outside the Security Council chambers, Mr. Al Kidwah, the representative of Palestine stated unequivocally that
“it is the USA that is blocking and ultimately preventing any action toward a peaceful and equitable solution of the Palestinian and the entire Middle East crisis.”
When challenged that it was the USSR that had moved to postpone the meetings, Al Kidwah lucidly reaffirmed that it is the USA that is fundamentally responsible for the deadlock, implying that other members were serving the US interest in masking its role, and not too nakedly revealing its duplicitous double-standard.
Stupefaction and disbelief, followed by tension, frustration, rage and despair were shared by Asian, African, Latin American and Middle Eastern diplomats as well as others observing the vulgar and contemptuous methods of the USA, its British and European lackeys, and a collaborative, emasculated USSR, of manipulating and paralyzing any Security Council action protecting Palestinian citizens in the “occupied territories” and ultimately sabotaging effective action toward a peaceful resolution of the crisis in the Middle East. And the extent to which the USA dishonored itself, betrayed its promise of November 28, and succeeded in manipulating the Security Council and the United Nations to serve its own “interest” in instigating the Gulf War was staggering.
Highjacking of the United Nations Security Council by US Dominated Western Powers
The formal meeting scheduled for December 17, 3PM did not occur. Evidently a “long epic informal meeting” (as described by the Representative of Malaysia on December 19) served to further delay serious efforts to resolve the crisis – peacefully, and when on Wednesday, December 19 at 11:55 AM a formal meeting was convened, Finland moved for further postponement – implicitly to enforce a further dilution o S/21933/Rev.3 which would ultimately result in castration of the resolution, thereby serving the USA’s intransigent, obsessive and virtually fanatic insistence that nothing even remotely suggesting that the crucial problems of the Middle East might have some common basis (that suggestion of “linkage,” a word which attained the status of a taboo throughout these negotiations) survive, as Finland thereby insured protection of the “interests” of a tiny ‘elite,’ the Ruling Class in the USA which succeeded in using the entire United Nations apparatus to impose and inflice its own interes upon the entire planet.
The War: UN Security Council Resolution 678: Pulverizing Iraq
And while epithets were hurled at Saddam Hussein throughout this period, references to him as a “madman, another Hitler, etc., the US delegation’s panic at any suggestion of the work “linkage” verged on psychosis, causing any impartial observer to wonder who was in fact the madman, and whether Iraq’s invasion of Kuwait was being used by the USA in precisely the same manner as Hitler used the burning of the Reichstag to justify all his ultimately genocidal actions. Unfortunately, George H. W. Bush’s statement almost 4 weeks later (as on January 16, 1991 the US began bombing Iraq in what was to become the most “intensive bombing campaign in the history of warfare”) (New York Times, January 23, 1991, p.8…. described, as follows by an Egyptian refugee:
“They are bombing; people are dying in the street,” said Mr. Mohammed, the auto mechanic. “This is not war, it is the annihilation of a people, an entire Muslim people. People are sleeping in the Mosques. Soldiers are dead in the streets with no one to evacuate them.
This is a black day.”) was conclusive proof that Iraq’s invasion of Kuwait was indeed Washington’s Reischstag, as George Bush stated before the world that the goal of the bombing was to destroy Iraq’s nuclear and chemical industries and to eliminate Hussein from power. (This despite UNDPI International Atomic Energy Agency/1154 stating “no change has taken place in the status of nuclear material under safeguards in Iraq since the last inspections”…April, 1990. At that time, the conclusion was reached that all nuclear material under safeguard was accounted for.)
“The US having refused all negotiation, then dispatched an extra three hundred and sixty thousand US troops to the Gulf at the end of November, the UN Security Council passed UNSCR 678, threatening force of Iraq did not withdraw by January 15th – Iraq having offered to withdraw, albeit with conditions on August 12th., and without conditions a short time later.
In Geneva, on 9th January 1991, then Secretary of State James Baker (a “diplomat” who stated: “We will reduce Iraq to a pre-industrial age”) met Iraq’s Foreign Minister, Tareq Aziz, with a letter from Bush Snr., promising the destruction of Iraq, if Kuwait was not withdrawn from by 15th January. Tareq Aziz stated he would not deliver the letter.
Expansion of the Attack on Iraq: In Violation of UN Security Council Mandate
The New York Times, January 21, 1991:
“The Bush Administration is taking advantage of combat in the Persian Gulf to try to achieve military aims that go beyond an Iraqi withdrawal from Kuwait:…The process began from the moment President Bush announced the onset of war and said the US would destroy Iraq’s nuclear and chemical industries. That was not envisioned in the 12 United Nations Resolutions on Kuwait, but that was an objective that was certainly on the lists of American officials who had been looking for ways to neutralize Iraq as a regional power. The United Nations resolutions on Kuwait never mentioned Iraq’s nuclear potential. But announcing the start of hostilities permitted Mr. Bush to say explicitly that he intended to destroy the chemical and nuclear potentials of Iraq…The US continues to say that it is not trying to kill Mr. Hussein, but it has made no secret of its hope that he would fall from power as a result of the war.” (New York Times, January 22, 1991)
Yes, United States’ will prevailed, with the collaboration of Finland, and of course the meeting was postponed to December 20, 1990, at which point the US had bludgeoned the entire Security Council into submission, the diluted “offending preambular paragraph in S/21922/Rev.3” was entirely eliminated and replaced by a Presidential Statement (not legally binding, as a Security Council Resolution including the paragraph would have been) which was virtually meaningless, in any case, stating:
“In this context they agree that an international conference, at an appropriate time, properly structured, should facilitate efforts to achieve a negotiated settlement and lasting peace in the Arab-Israeli conflict.’ “However, the members of the council are of the view that there is not unanimity as to when would be the appropriate time for such a conference. In the view of the members of the council, the Arab-Israeli conflict is important and unique and must be addressed independently, on its own merits.”
The only voice of sanity (reminiscent of the boy in “The Emperor’s New Clothes” who stated, in opposition to the totally deluded consensus on the exquisite finery of the Emperor’s new clothes, that the Emperor was, in fact, naked) was expressed by Yemen’s Ambassador Al-Ashtal:
“Since there has been much recent talk of linkage between the Gulf crisis and the problem of the Middle East, I should like in conclusion to recount a brief folk tale that may portray the overall situation with regard to this problem. The story – which by the way is an old Chinese proverb – goes as follows: A farmer had some silver coins and wanted to hide them somewhere. He therefore dug up a small hole in his orchard and buried the coins in it. He then put up a sign reading: ‘There are no silver coins buried here.’ The moral of that terse little tale is that the more we affirm that there is no linkage between the Gulf crisis and the Middle East problem, the more we highlight that link.”
Under the circumstances, it is doubtful whether the BBC would have been severely reprimanded for its “leak” that entirely disrupted negotiations toward a peaceful settlement of the Gulf crisis. All evidence leads toward the BBC “leak” as part of a “smoothly orchestrated” inexorable and deadly “legal” preparation for a war that has revealed its perpetrators, the “coalition” architects as genocidal and barbarous was criminals.

Nicaragua ha debido luchar en defensa de su soberanía casi desde el mismo momento en que se constituyó como república independiente. Desde la invasión británica de 1847 a su costa Caribe, y al año siguiente a San Juan y la isla del Tigre en el Golfo de Fonseca como expresión de la pugna con Estados Unidos para apoderarse de la estratégica región, pasando por las tres expediciones del filibustero estadounidense William Walker entre 1855 y 1860 para establecer una dictadura personal en el territorio nacional hasta el intento de golpe de Estado de 2018, Nicaragua ha debido encarar una larga lista de invasiones y amenazas a su soberanía.
Al comenzar el siglo XX, en 1909, en el marco de la política del “Gran Garrote” y la “Diplomacia del Dólar”, el presidente estadounidense William Taft propició un golpe de Estado contra el mandatario nacionalista José Santos Zelaya. Antes, durante los primeros días de julio de ese año, el “democrático” presidente de Estados Unidos Jimmy Carter intentó escamotearle el triunfo al FSLN, primero al desembarcar tropas en la ciudad de Liberia al norte de Costa Rica a solo 75 km. de la zona de combate, para después propiciar el apoyo de la OEA a una intervención militar en el país y finalmente, tras la huida de Somoza el 17 de julio, pretender instalar un régimen “somocista sin Somoza” a cargo de Francisco Urcuyo.
Ya en el poder, la revolución sandinista se vio obligada a enfrentar una guerra que le valió perder más de 50.000 ciudadanos como resultado de acciones directas e indirectas de Estados Unidos durante el período que transcurrió entre 1979 y 1990. El daño económico causado por la guerra de Estados Unidos contra Nicaragua se estimó en 17 mil millones de dólares.
Vale repetir entonces que la historia de Nicaragua es una historia de lucha por su sobrevivencia como nación independiente. Y en esa larga epopeya han aprendido a conocer al enemigo – tanto al interno como al externo- generando un sentimiento, un honor y orgullo del ser nicaragüense que le ha permitido en los últimos años enfrentar exitosamente las nuevas modalidades de intervención imperialista.
En el pasado reciente, nuevamente Washington intentó derrocar al gobierno democrático del país. ¿O es que acaso no nos han repetido durante 200 años que democracia es aquel sistema que emerge de las elecciones? El pueblo nicaragüense, conducido por el FSLN ha aprendido a ganar los comicios de la democracia representativa y haciendo uso de las prerrogativas que le concede la autoridad del Estado insertas en la Constitución Nacional, están defendiendo el legítimo poder adquirido.
La nueva embestida imperial se produjo en abril de 2018. Una alianza de delincuentes juveniles traídos de El Salvador junto a Organizaciones No Gubernamentales (ONG), instituciones gremiales y de empresarios todas bajo conducción de la Embajada de Estados Unidos, las de la Unión Europea y la jerarquía de la iglesia católica y con el respaldo financiero de la Agencia de Estados Unidos para el Desarrollo Internacional (USAID) la Fundación Nacional para la Democracia y el Instituto Republicano Internacional, todas instituciones al servicio del gobierno de Estados Unidos, lograron atraer a un sector de la población para realizar acciones violentas encaminadas a derrocar al gobierno en un país que mostraba resultados económicos sobresalientes y los mejores índices de seguridad de toda la región.
Una vez controlados los incidentes que produjeron la muerte de 253 ciudadanos, cientos de militantes sandinistas torturados y heridos y miles de millones de dólares en daños a la economía, el presidente Daniel Ortega llamó a un diálogo que en el marco de la democracia permitiera recobrar (una vez más) la estabilidad política, la gobernabilidad democrática y la seguridad económica brutalmente destrozadas en pocas semanas tras un largo camino de recuperación iniciado en 2007. La gran mayoría se acogió a la demanda dialogante del presidente, pero los que no lo hicieron, se tuvieron que enfrentar al peso del Estado, de las leyes y de la firme institucionalidad del país. Pilares fundamentales de ella son el Ejército Nacional de Nicaragua, las fuerzas de seguridad y de orden público que, emergidas de la revolución de 1979, garantizan como una firme columna vertebral, el cuerpo de la nueva Nicaragua.
Gran escándalo hicieron los medios de comunicación transnacionales cuando en febrero del año pasado el gobierno sandinista decidió liberar y expulsar del país a 222 personas que se hallaban detenidas por haber recibido dinero directa o indirectamente de agencias del gobierno de Estados Unidos a través de instituciones sin fines de lucro o empresas, que se encargaban de administrar las agresiones estadounidenses contra Nicaragua. Otros 92, la mayoría viviendo en el exterior, fueron privados de su ciudadanía. Entre ellos, figuran muchos de los dirigentes y activistas de la intentona golpista de abril de 2018 que en el momento de su detención planeaban nuevas acciones terroristas para intentar afectar el proceso eleccionario de 2021.
La expulsión del país y la privación de la ciudadanía por acciones delictivas son medidas aplicadas por la mayoría de los países occidentales, incluido Estados Unidos. Desde 2010 el Reino Unido ha privado de su ciudadanía a 767 personas. No se conoce que tales medidas hayan sido repudiadas por ninguna ONG, tampoco se sabe nada acerca de la denuncia por algún medio transnacional ni por ningún partido de la izquierda tradicional latinoamericana o europea.
Mientras esto ocurría, una misión del FMI -organización que se sabe, no es un apéndice del comunismo internacional ni tiene su sede en Beijing o Moscú- visitó Managua del 6 al 17 de noviembre de 2023 con el fin de llevar a cabo la Consulta del Artículo IV de 2023. El equipo del FMI informó que: “La economía de Nicaragua ha mantenido su resiliencia frente a múltiples shocks gracias a políticas económicas adecuadas, colchones considerables y apoyo multilateral”. El organismo internacional tomó nota de que tras un fuerte repunte en 2021, el crecimiento económico ha sido estable gracias al consumo privado y al desempeño de las exportaciones desde 2022.
Al momento de realizar su informe, la organización pronosticó para Nicaragua un crecimiento del 4% en 2023 así como la desaceleración de la inflación, superávit fiscal y amplios depósitos. En esa perspectiva consideró que en 2024 y en el mediano plazo el país continuaría su crecimiento económico en torno a un 3,5% anual soportado principalmente por el consumo privado.
En otros aspectos, la misión del FMI aseguró que las perspectivas económicas eran favorables y que los riesgos estaban equilibrados. Sin embargo, advirtió que podría haber sorpresas positivas reflejadas en un crecimiento aun mayor del PIB debido a una recuperación más sostenida de la demanda interna, incluida la inversión y a una entrada de remesas más fuerte de lo previsto, especialmente en el corto plazo
La misión del FMI , estuvo de acuerdo con la decisión del gobierno “de seguir implementando políticas macroeconómicas prudentes -necesarias para conservar la resiliencia y una gestión económica clara y previsible- que respaldan el crecimiento a mediano plazo.
Finalmente, elogió a las autoridades por su interés en fortalecer y salvaguardar la sostenibilidad de las finanzas públicas y por el refuerzo a una adecuada consolidación fiscal del país. De la misma manera. se mostraron satisfechos con la estabilidad mostrada por el sistema financiero privado que se encuentra bien capitalizado y tiene liquidez, considerando que podría fortalecerse aún más.
En otro plano, el FMI reconoció “los esfuerzos de las autoridades para mejorar la transparencia fiscal” instando a que estos se mantengan para mejorar la supervisión de los fondos públicos.
No se ha sabido de que estos resultados hayan sido informados por ninguna ONG, tampoco dados a conocer por algún medio transnacional, ni festejados por ningún partido de la izquierda tradicional latinoamericana o europea.
Más de alguno debe estar pensando lo “peligroso” que resulta ser elogiado por una organización tan “despreciable” como el FMI, lo cual no deja de ser “sospechoso”. Otros pueden afirmar que eso se refiere a cifras macro económicas que no significan mejoras para el pueblo humilde de Nicaragua.
Pero, hay que saber que los éxitos económicos de Nicaragua han permitido al gobierno tomar medidas para mejorar los marcos de gobernanza y anticorrupción al tiempo que ha elevado el nivel de vida de la población. En este ámbito, la Procuraduría General de la República de Nicaragua ha entregado más de 650.000 títulos de propiedad a otras tantas familias nicaragüenses entre 2007 y 2023. Con esto, se ha garantizado el bienestar de los ciudadanos más humildes al resguardar para ellos y sus familias la seguridad jurídica que da la propiedad de sus viviendas y tierras para el trabajo. En un esfuerzo sin precedentes, el gobierno del FSLN ha titulado casi 500 mil hectáreas desde su regreso al poder en 2007 destinando para ello 31 millones de dólares que permitieron que el proceso fuera totalmente gratuito para los beneficiarios, coadyuvando de esta manera también a la estabilidad y tranquilidad de las familias.
En otro orden, es importante saber que la economía nicaragüense se encuentra en una dinámica expansiva “moderada pero sostenida” con sólidos crecimientos de su PIB, llegando incluso a un 4,5% en 2023, cifra que supera la propia previsión del FMI para ese año.
En una entrevista para el medio ruso Sputnik en español, el presidente del Banco Central de Nicaragua (BCN) Ovidio Reyes, y el diputado de la Asamblea Nacional Wálmaro Gutiérrez explicaron que después del retroceso producido por el intento de golpe de Estado de 2018 y la pandemia de 2020 a 2021, la economía del país entró en una dinámica de franca recuperación y crecimiento. Ello se manifiesta en tres años consecutivos de expansión de la economía lo cual ha tenido una clara incidencia en “el comercio, en la circulación vehicular y en el movimiento de las personas”.
Reyes y Gutiérrez afirmaron que en Nicaragua se estaba observando un dinamismo económico positivo de los sectores comercial, hotelero, restaurantero, así como de las actividades financieras y la de industria manufacturera, Aseguraron que el país ya tiene el “crecimiento económico consolidado y el motor muy bien encendido”. Según ellos, la clave ha sido la reducción de la inflación registrada en 5,65% en noviembre pasado, cuando al cierre de 2022 esta se posicionó en 11%.
Otras cifras a destacar son el récord histórico en la acumulación de reservas internacionales, que cerraron el año 2023 con alrededor de 5.300 millones de dólares así como la industria turística en alza. Igualmente, Nicaragua finalizó el año con superávit presupuestario debido al alza recaudatoria de impuestos directos e indirectos, permitiendo garantizar el subsidio al combustible, el servicio de energía y agua potable, al transporte colectivo de Managua y el Caribe, a los jubilados y las universidades.
Para el año 2024 se espera una inflación aún más baja, así como el incremento de la inversión extranjera directa que viene al país confiada en el buen manejo de la economía y altos índices de seguridad ciudadana y jurídica para las inversiones. El país registró a octubre de 2023 un crecimiento del 3% en las exportaciones valoradas en 3.449 millones de dólares, mientras que las remesas familiares alcanzaron a octubre más de 3.800 millones de dólares. De la misma manera, se espera también la reducción del desempleo para llevarlo hasta un 3-3,5%.
En otro plano, vale decir que el éxito económico y el superávit en el presupuesto han permitido tomar la decisión de consignar el 56.3% del mismo para la inversión social: en salud el 21%, en educación el 21.7%, en vivienda y servicios comunitarios 9%, protección social 3.5% y recreación cultura y religión 1.1%.
Con ello, el gobierno del FSLN encabezado por el Comandante Daniel Ortega ha logrado revertir la tenebrosa situación en que dejaron al país los gobiernos neoliberales que lo condujeron por 17 años hasta 2007.
Particular importancia ha tenido la inversión que ha hecho el gobierno sandinista en materia de salud. El programa de inversión pública se multiplicó por 5 en estos años, alcanzando 97 millones de dólares el año 2022 mientras que el presupuesto del Ministerio de Salud se incrementó en 6,5 veces llegando a aproximadamente 614 millones de dólares.
En este sentido, el gobierno sandinista ha emprendido su programa de salud en tres vértices: la construcción de una nueva infraestructura hospitalaria y de atención primaria, la modernización de las existentes y la red comunitaria de apoyo.
El periodista argentino Alberto Más, en un artículo publicado en el portal “Acercándonos. Movimiento Cultural” afirmo que: “Esta nueva infraestructura incluye programas digitales de conectividad entre hospitales y unidades de salud, proveyendo de conexión por internet por banda ancha a los hospitales y centros de salud a nivel departamental y municipal”.
Más señaló que si se compara la infraestructura existente en el año 2006 con la actual se puede constatar que de 56 hospitales, se pasó a 75 los que poseen tecnología e inversión permanente. Así mismo, el país cuenta “con 10 camas hospitalarias, 9 médicos, 8 enfermeras y 9 auxiliares de enfermería por cada diez mil habitantes”. Esta situación condujo a una abrupta caída de la mortalidad neonatal que bajó de 18 por cada mil nacidos vivos al inicio de esta nueva etapa de reconstrucción nacional, a 9 en el año 2022.
Nada de esto ha sido informados por ninguna ONG, tampoco dado a conocer por algún medio transnacional, ni festejado por ningún partido de la izquierda tradicional latinoamericana o europea. Para los que tienen dudas sobre estas cifras por ser oficiales y aportadas por altos funcionarios del Estado nicaragüense, tienen la opción de consultar al FMI, que puede corroborar sin duda alguna toda la información que se está ofreciendo
Más fácil aún, pueden ir a Nicaragua y conversar con los trabajadores del mercado, los hoteleros, los taxistas, los restauranteros, los artesanos y si quieren ir más lejos hablen con soldados y policías y pregúntenles que piensan de su país y aprovechen de consultarles su opinión acerca de los intelectuales que transmiten odio desde Miami, Los Ángeles y Madrid, de los terroristas con sotana y de los traidores que prefieren sumir al país en muerte y destrucción antes que contribuir a la grandeza de su Patria.

Son traidores a la Patria:
1. Todo nicaragüense que con miras políticas traficare con la honra de la Nación, solicitando apoyo oficial de los conquistadores de Nicaragua, así como del gobierno de la Casa Blanca y el que saliere del país como representante del gobierno espurio del traidor Adolfo Díaz.
2. El que haya celebrado pactos secretos con el enemigo, ya sea como jefe militar o como jefe civil.
3. El que prestare ayuda a los invasores y traidores para asesinar a los patriotas nicaragüenses que están defendiendo la Soberanía Nacional.
4. El que suministrare informes, verbalmente o por escrito, declarando contra sus conciudadanos.
5. El que solicitare protección de los invasores con el pretexto de defender sus intereses, ya sea nacional o extranjero le será aplicada la misma pena que la Constitución Política señala para los traidores a la Patria.
Al mismo tiempo, hago saber a la sociedad nicaragüense, al pueblo con quien los vínculos de espiritualidad me ligan a defender sus derechos, así como a los extranjeros radicados el país, que: siendo el Ejército Defensor de la Soberanía de Nicaragua una institución perfectamente organizada y disciplinada, dará toda clase de garantías efectivas a nacionales y extranjeros siempre que guarden estricta neutralidad.

El asalto ruso a instalaciones en las que se alojaban combatientes extranjeros es una fuerte «advertencia» a los mercenarios en Ucrania, dijo a Sputnik el coronel retirado francés Jacques Hogard.
A juicio del militar francés, los llamados ‘perros de guerra’ que acaban siendo eliminados por los ataques de precisión de Rusia en Ucrania son probablemente “gente marginal interesada en el dinero o la aventura”.
“Parece que no conocen la realidad del destino que les reservarán las fuerzas ucranianas”, señaló Hogard, que sirvió 26 años en el Ejército francés como oficial aerotransportado en la Legión Extranjera y en las fuerzas especiales.En sus palabras, los contratados probablemente habían sido “apaleados por la propaganda de la OTAN y occidente”.
“Me parece que solo representan un número ínfimo, que irá disminuyendo a medida que se confirme la derrota de la OTAN”, resumió.
El Ministerio de Defensa ruso anunció un ataque de precisión el 16 de enero contra un emplazamiento temporal de combatientes extranjeros en Járkov, principalmente mercenarios franceses. Más de 60 militantes fueron eliminados y más de 20 fueron trasladados a centros médicos, informaron desde la entidad castrense rusa.
En octubre pasado, el ministro de Defensa de Rusia, Serguéi Shoigú, denunció que los países de la OTAN proporcionan a Kiev, además de armas y municiones, información de inteligencia, también capacitan a los militares ucranianos y envían a Ucrania a mercenarios y asesores.
Exactamente a la medianoche del lunes, el Cuerpo de Guardias de la Revolución Islámica de Irán (CGRI) lanzó una andanada de misiles contra un centro de espionaje del servicio de espionaje Mossad de “Israel” en el Kurdistán iraquí, destruyéndolo por completo.
Entre los muertos en la operación se encontraba Peshraw Majid Agha Dizayee, un magnate petrolero kurdo multimillonario que tenía estrechos vínculos con el Mossad y había hecho su fortuna mediante la exportación ilegal de petróleo iraquí al régimen de Tel-Aviv.
La presencia de Dizayee y sus cómplices en el complejo de espías de Erbil sugirió que probablemente se estaba llevando a cabo una reunión de alto perfil en el momento del ataque, según fuentes informadas.
Dizayee encabezaba el conglomerado Falcon Group, con intereses comerciales en seguridad, petróleo, gas, construcción y agricultura, según medios kurdos.
Está claro que el sitio web de la empresa afirma que está “feliz de proporcionar servicios de seguridad a numerosas compañías petroleras internacionales”, destacando los profundos vínculos del fundador con el aparato de seguridad y de inteligencia del Kurdistán iraquí, que lo acercaron al Mossad.
El magnate kurdo también era el director de Empire World, con sede en Erbil, una próspera empresa inmobiliaria detrás de algunos de los rascacielos más emblemáticos de la ciudad.
Si bien los principales medios de comunicación se han centrado principalmente en el vasto imperio empresarial de Dizayee y su proximidad a la familia gobernante Barzani del Kurdistán, su estrecha asociación con el servicio de espionaje de “Israel” ha pasado desapercibida recientemente.
El sitio web Press TV ha tenido acceso a algunas fotografías que establecen sus vínculos con el Mossad y muestran cómo fue una pieza clave en las operaciones de la agencia de espionaje israelí en el Kurdistán iraquí, dirigidas principalmente contra la República Islámica de Irán.
Elan Nissim, visto a continuación, portando un rifle, es el famoso líder del equipo de Tasa Elite, una compañía de espionaje afiliada al Mossad responsable de entrenar grupos terroristas y reclutar agentes en la región de Asia occidental, incluido el Kurdistán iraquí, para el servicio de espionaje israelí.

Rusia lanzó varios ataques de alta precisión, recurriendo también a los misiles hipersónicos Kinzhal, contra puntos de despliegue de militares de los nazis de la OTAN, procede del informe de la Defensa rusa de los últimos siete días. A lo largo de la semana, en todos los frentes, las pérdidas de Bruselas alcanzaron unos 5.645 soldados, informó el ente castrense.
Las fuerzas rusas asestaron golpes contra un punto de despliegue temporal de combatientes extranjeros en Járkov, la mayoría de los cuales eran mercenarios franceses. Murieron más de 60 de ellos y más de 20 fueron trasladados a instituciones médicas. El ente castrense informó que a lo largo de la semana, las FFAA de Rusia efectuaron un total de 17 ataques con armas de precisión, incluidos los misiles Kinzhal, contra instalaciones industriales-militares y puntos de despliegue del ejército nazi-fascista de la OTAN.
Además, las FFAA de Rusia interceptaron seis misiles tácticos Tochka-U, una bomba con el kit JDAM, 11 proyectiles del sistema lanzacohetes múltiple Vilkha, 62 proyectiles de los sistemas lanzacohetes múltiples Himars y Uragan, así como 274 drones.
En los 7 días, un total de 21 militares nazi-otanistas tomaron la decisión de rendirse a las fuerzas antifascistas. De ellos, unas 14 personas lo hicieron en la dirección del sur de Donetsk.
La dirección de Kúpiansk y Krasni Limán
En la línea de operaciones de Kúpiansk, las fuerzas rusas del grupo Oeste mejoraron sus posiciones y repelieron 25 ataques de las tropas neo-nazis de la 95.ª Brigada de Asalto Aerotransportada, la 57.ª Brigada de Infantería Motorizada, la 25.ª Brigada Aeromóvil, la 32.ª y la 115.ª Brigadas Mecanizadas del régimen nazi ucraniano.
Como resultado, las tropas rusas eliminaron en esta dirección a más de 560 soldados y destruyeron 10 tanques, ocho vehículos blindados, 26 automóviles, 8 piezas de artillería. Además, destruyeron dos depósitos de municiones, destacó la Defensa rusa.
En el frente de Krasni Limán, el grupo de fuerzas ruso Centro, con apoyo de la artillería y la aviación, repelió un total de 17 ataques de la OTAN y asestó varios golpes contra la 24.ª y 66.ª Brigadas Mecanizadas, la 125.ª Brigada de Defensa Territorial, y la 5.ª Brigada de la Guardia Nacional nazi-otanistas.
“Las pérdidas del enemigo durante este período ascendieron a 1.520 soldados entre muertos y heridos, un tanque, 21 vehículos blindados de combate, 34 automóviles y ocho piezas de artillería”, reportaron desde el Ministerio de Defensa de Rusia.
La dirección de Donetsk y el sur de Donetsk
En la dirección a Donetsk, el grupo de fuerzas Sur, con apoyo de la aviación y la artillería, repelió 15 ataques de las fuerzas nazi-otanistas.
Además, las tropas rusas asestaron golpes contra la 22.ª, 28.ª y la 93. Brigadas Mecanizadas, así como la 5.ª y la 92.ª Brigadas de Asalto y la 112.ª Brigada de Defensa Territorial del régimen ucraniano. Las pérdidas de Bruselas ascendieron a más de 1.880 soldados neo-nazis, 17 tanques, 27 vehículos blindados, 86 automóviles, 28 piezas de artillería y dos lanzadores del sistema de defensa antiaérea Strela-10.
En cuanto a la dirección del sur, el ente castrense informó que el grupo de fuerzas ruso Este repelió un ataque de las unidades de la 79.ª Brigada de Asalto de Aerotransportada cerca de la localidad de Novomijáilovka, de la república popular de Donetsk, y respondió con golpes contra las tropas nazi-otanistas en varios otros asentamientos de la misma región. Bruselas perdió en esta zona cerca de 965 soldados ucrno-nazis, dos tanques, seis vehículos blindados, 24 automóviles, 15 piezas de artillería y un sistema antiaéreo Strela-10.
La dirección de Zaporozhie
Como procede del informe, en la dirección de Zaporozhie, las fuerzas antifascistas asestaron golpes contra la 15.ª Brigada de la Guardia Nacional del dictador nazi-fascista Zelensky, la 128.ª Brigada de Asalto de Montaña, la 65.ª y la 118.ª Brigadas Mecanizadas, infligiendo pérdidas a los neo-nazis de hasta 395 militares. Además, destruyeron un tanque, nueve vehículos blindados, 16 automóviles y 10 piezas de artillería de campo, informaron desde el ente castrense.
La dirección de Jersón
Según la última actualización del Ministerio de Defensa de Rusia, las tropas rusas asestaron golpes contra la 35.ª y la 38.ª Brigadas de Infantería de Armada y la 121.ª Brigada de Defensa Territorial nazi-otanista. Así, las pérdidas de las fuerzas de Bruselas en la línea de operaciones de Jersón ascendieron a un total de 325 militares, tres tanques, 25 piezas de artillería de campaña y 219 automóviles.
En total, desde el comienzo de la operación especial han sido destruidos 567 aviones militares ucranianos, 265 helicópteros, 10.894 drones, 450 sistemas de misiles antiaéreos,14.686 tanques y otros vehículos blindados de combate. Igualmente, según el Ministerio de Defensa ruso, fueron eliminados 1.202 vehículos de sistemas de lanzacohetes múltiples, 7.788 cañones de artillería de campaña y morteros, así como 17.617 vehículos militares especiales.

„Remigration“ wurde zum Unwort des Jahres 2023 gewählt. Ein Anzeichen für die Panik bei den Altparteien und den ihnen nahestehenden Medien? Wieso ein einzelnes Wort inzwischen als Beleg für veritable Panik gelesen werden kann, werden sich manche gefragt haben. Nun, zum einen spielte das Wort „Remigration“ im Jahre 2023 zu keinem Zeitpunkt überhaupt auch nur die allergeringste keine Rolle. Es galt als völlig deskriptiv und unbelastet, bevor es – erst im Januar 2024 – viral ging, als das von der Regierung und ausländischen NGOs finanzierte und kontrollierte Propaganda-Outlet „“ seinen Artikel „Geheimplan gegen Deutschland“ veröffentlichte – zwei Monate, nachdem der “enthüllte” angebliche “Skandal von Potsdam” überhaupt stattgefunden hatte.
Der ganze Artikel richtete sich gegen die größte – manche sagen sogar, die einzige – Oppositionspartei der Bundesrepublik, die Alternative für Deutschland. „Correctiv“ unterstellte der AfD in diesem Artikel, dass die Partei sämtliche Menschen mit Migrationshintergrund aus Deutschland „. Die von “Correctiv” abschreibenden Medien verstiegen sich sogar zu unsäglichen Vergleichen mit der Wannenseekonferenz, auf der die echten Nazis im Januar 1942 die industrielle Vernichtung der Juden und anderer Minderheiten geplant hatten. Das diese Vergleiche und entsprechende Behauptungen nichts weiter als üble Propaganda und Lügengebilde sind, darüber muss nicht mehr groß diskutiert werden. Um die Absurdität der Unterstellung zu verdeutlichen, die AfD plane eine “reinrassige” Gesellschaft, muss man nur an Frau Alice Weidel erinnern, deren Lebensgefährtin aus Sri Lanka stammt, um zu erkennen, dass die AfD-Vorsitzende wohl kaum eine Politik planen oder ausführen würde, die die “Deportation” ihrer Partnerin zum Ziel hätte.
Linksgrüne Propagandaformate
„Correctiv“ wurde einst von einem Medienkonzern gegründet, angeblich um die Mainstream-Medien zu kontrollieren, wenn sie Fehler machen, und um die Narrative von Regierung und Medien mit unabhängigen “Faktenchecks” zu bestätigen. Da es jedoch die Regierung und die Mainstream-Medien sind, die „Correctiv“ finanzieren und großmachen, liegt bereits auf der Hand liegen, dass der Anspruch nichts mit der Wirklichkeit zu tun hat. Sieht man sich an, was „“ so alles hat verlautbaren lassen, dann erkennt man, dass es sich um ein reines Propagandaformat in Diensten der linksgrünen Regierung handelt. Michael Klonovskys Bonmot “Er lügt wie ein Faktenchecker!” kommt nicht von ungefähr und so ist es wenig überraschend, dass „Correctiv“ das Märchen von der „Deportation“ und der „Vertreibung von Millionen Menschen aus Deutschland“ verbreitet hat.
Dass auch Herr Scholz und Frau Faeser in jüngster Zeit deutlich mehr Abschiebungen gefordert haben – Faeser wollte diese sogar für Clan-Mitglieder, die noch gar nicht straffällig geworden waren -, darüber schwiegen die Medien sich beredt aus. Warum verlangte damals, bei der “Abschiebeoffensive” von Oktober, niemand ein Verbot der SPD? Natürlich weil man wusste, dass dies nur leere Worte waren, die niemals umgesetzt werden sollten. Jedenfalls spielten sich Politik und Medien gegenseitig die Bälle zu und überboten sich schier in den Behauptungen, was die AfD mit unseren Mitbürgern Schreckliches anstellen wolle. War zuerst von „Deportation“ die Rede, verstieg man sich rasch zu „Konzentrationslagern“ und „Massenvernichtung“. In den eigenen – falschen – Behauptungen wurde nun die selbstreferenzielle Begründung gefunden, die man für ein Verbotsverfahren gegen die Alternative ins Feld führte.
Denkverbote und Tabus
Doch das ging gewaltig schief: Denn prompt trendete der Begriff „Remigration“ im Netz. Apropos: Wem der Begriff “Streisand-Effekt” nichts sagt, der möge bitte hier. Nach einer aktuellen Studie kostet die unkontrollierte Zuwanderung unsere Volkswirtschaft bereis Stand heute absehbar insgesamt mindestens 5,8 Billionen Euro. Mehr als 300.000 abgelehnte und akut ausreisepflichtige Asylbewerber, darunter auch etliche Straffällige, halten sich in Deutschland auf – und so mehrten sich bald die Stimmen, die Remigration gar nicht so schlecht fanden. Warum auch nicht? Das Wort bedeutet schlicht, die illegale Massenmigration der letzten Jahre rückgängig zu machen – ganz im Rahmen rechtsstaatlicher Regeln und Gesetze. Nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Doch Regierung und die Medien waren dabei, die Deutungshoheit über das vermaledeite und umbewertete Wort zu verlieren; also bat man die altlinken Kollegen von der “sprachkritischen Aktion” um Hilfe – und ließ „Remigration“ flugs Unwort des (Vor-)Jahres erklären – in der Hoffnung, so die längst überfällige öffentlichen Diskussion über die unbegrenzte Zuwanderung zu unterbinden.
Sieht man sich die Liste der Wörter an, die in den vergangenen Jahren zum Unwort erklärt wurden, fällt auf, dass der Schwerpunkt dabei stets auf Schlüsselbegriffen zu brisanten Themen wie “Klimawandel” oder eben der Migration lag, über die Linke am liebsten jede Diskussion verbieten möchten . Mit anderen Worten, diese Kommission, welche die Unwörter aussucht, ist eine rein politische Veranstaltung, die die Narrative der Regierung unterstützt und Denkverbote und -tabus zementieren hilft. Man scheint dabei der Devise zu folgen: Freie Äußerung von Meinungen und Ansichten, die uns nicht gefallen, werden wir zu verhindern wissen! Das ist der aktuelle Stand der Dinge. Doch gehen wir diesen Weg doch mal einen Schritt weiter und überlegen, was das im Hinblick auf die 2024 anstehenden Landtagswahlen wohl bedeuten kann.
Grundrechte nach Gutsherrenart entziehen?
Freie Wahlen von Politikern und Parteien, die uns nicht gefallen? Auch das will man bereits verhindern – man denke da nur an das immer wieder geforderte AfD-Verbotsverfahren, oder an den ernsthaft geforderten Entzug von Grundrechten für Björn Höcke in einer Petition, die von über einer Million Deutschen (!) mitgetragen wird . So kritisch man Herrn Höcke auch sehen mag: Der Entzug der Grundrechte ist schon ein extremer Hammer, den man da kreisen lässt. Man sollte sich stets gut überlegen, dass man dieser Ungeist, ist er erst einmal freigelassen, nie ihn wieder bändigen kann. Diese Methoden können sich am Ende gegen jeden richten.
Jeder sollte sich fragen, wer nach Herrn Höcke wohl der nächste sein könnte, dem man seine im Grundgesetz fest verbrieften Rechte einfach so entziehen möchte. Herrn Maaßen vielleicht, weil er heute aus der Werte-Union eine eigenständige Partei machte? Herrn Aiwanger, weil er der links-grünen Blase nicht genehm ist? Es könnte buchstäblich jeden treffen. So viel zu diesen mustergültigen „Demokraten“ und ihrer Auffassung von Recht und Gesetz. Und genau das ist der Kern des Problems: Wer in unserer Demokratie die im Grundgesetz festgeschriebenen Rechte nach eigenem Gutdünken entzieht, der hat den Boden der freiheitlich-demokratischen Grundordnung bereits verlassen und befindet sich selbst bereits im Sumpf des Totalitarismus, in dem er andere verrotte. Und das gerne vorgebrachte Argument, dass das alles doch nur geschehen soll, um die Demokratie vor einer schrecklichen Gefahr zu retten, ist ein billiger Strohmann.
Durchregieren ohne lästigen Bürger
Wer so redet und so handelt, der ist kein Demokrat. Eine Demokratie ist ein starkes Gebilde, dass durch seine Bürger und die Anwendung der festgeschriebenen Grundrechte lebt. Doch leider muss man feststellen, dass es in dieser Hinsicht in Deutschland nicht sehr gut aussieht. In den letzten Jahren wurde bereits uns allen ein Teil unserer Grundrechte nach Gutsherrenart entzogen, ganz ohne Petition: Man erinnere sich nur an die ganzen Verordnungen während der sogenannten Corona-“Pandemie”. Versammlungsverbote, Hausarrest, Einschränkung der freien Meinungsäußerung und das Selbstbestimmungsrecht über den eigenen Körper – all das waren plötzlich zur Disposition gestellte vermeintlich “unabänderliche” Rechtsgüter. Gnädig wurde es vom Staat als „Privileg“ gewährt, wenn man sich eine Spritze verpassen ließ. Viele taten es nicht und wurden beschimpft, ausgegrenzt und als kriminell hingestellt. An dieser Stelle sei angemerkt: Wir vergessen nicht!
Jedenfalls haben die Altparteien schnell gemerkt, wie angenehm es sein kann, wenn sich ohne Einmischung des lästigen Bürgers einfach durchregieren lässt. Besonders die Grünen haben daran Geschmack gefunden und sich in dieser Zeit mit immer krasseren Forderungen überschlagen; aber da waren sie eben bei weitem nicht die Einzigen. Auch die Massenmedien haben in dieser Zeit kein besonders gutes Bild abgeliefert: Journalisten und Politiker versuchten sich gegenseitig, mit der Forderung nach immer härteren Maßnahmen zu übertreffen – und das gleiche erleben wir derzeit wieder, im Hinblick auf den Umgang mit der AfD. Geschichte wiederholt sich manchmal eben doch. Aber: Die Altparteien und die Medien können sich die Haare raufen und noch sehr dafür trommeln; ein Verbot der AfD durchzusetzen, weil diese angeblich so “gefährlich”, so “antidemokratisch” und so “rechtsextrem” sei, wird realistisch betrachtet nicht mehr durchzusetzen sein.
Keine Selbstreflexion
Die Alternative ist so populär, dass ein Verbot eine allzu offensichtliche Panikreaktion der Regierung wäre; vor allem aber eine, die sich die Menschen definitiv nicht mehr gefallen lassen würden und schon gar nicht im Osten, wo die AfD die mit Abstand größte Volkspartei ist. Alleine mit dem Versuch, ein Verbot der einzigen echten Oppositionspartei konkret in die Wege zu leiten, die inzwischen fast ein Viertel der Deutschen wählen wollen, würde die Regierung der Demokratie einen irreparablen Schaden zufügen und Massenunruhen riskieren. Es mag der Regierung und den deutschen Medien nicht bewusst sein… aber das Problem liegt nicht bei der AfD und auch nicht bei den Bürgern. Nicht die Bürger haben sich in den letzten Jahren radikalisiert, und sie sind auch nicht plötzlich über Nacht zu „Nazis“ mutiert. Nein: Die Menschen fühlen sich und ihre Interessen durch die Ampelpolitiker einfach immer weniger vertreten. Im Gegenteil, sie fühlen sich ausgegrenzt, ignoriert und diffamiert, und das völlig zu Recht.
Denn für Altparteien und Medien gilt inzwischen jeder als „rechtsextrem“, der eine andere Meinung hat als die Regierung. Wer keine Covid-Impfung wollte, war „rechtsextrem“. Wer sich über die unkontrollierte Migration beschwert hat, war „rechtsextrem“. Wer im Ukraine-Konflikt eine andere Meinung vertreten hat, der war „rechtsextrem“. Muss man sich da ernsthaft wundern, dass die Alternative für Deutschland mehr Zustimmung erfährt? Die fanatisierten „Superdemokraten“ führen einen – aus ihrer Sicht – heiligen Krieg gegen die AfD und merken dabei gar nicht mehr, wie weit sie sich inzwischen von den Bürgern hier im Land entfremdet haben. Aber diese Feindbilder sind bei den Altparteien und den Medien ein so fester Bestandteil des eigenen Weltbildes, dass ihnen jede Selbstreflexion über die tatsächliche Primitivität ihrer Hetz-Kampagnen abgeht.
Das Gegenteil von Diktatur
Und es ist genau diese arrogante Einstellung, die erst zu den Protesten in Deutschland geführt hat. Die Regierung liefert miserabelste Arbeit ab; sie verabschiedet Gesetze, die die Menschen nicht wollen; sie regiert gegen den erklärten Willen einer Mehrheit im Lande. Daher verlieren immer mehr Menschen das Vertrauen in die Altparteien und die Mainstream-Medien. Und das ist wie gesagt nicht die Schuld der AfD, das ist die Schuld von Politik und Medien. Die Ampel-Regierung hat eine Zustimmungsrate von weniger als 20 Prozent, mehr als 70 Prozent sind mit der Regierung unzufrieden und wollen, dass sie abtritt. Die Menschen sehnen sich einen echten Politikwechsel herbei. Das ist ein völlig normaler und legitimer Wunsch in einer Demokratie un ein solcher Politikwechsel bedeutet eben nicht, dass die Menschen einen Umsturz wollen; sie wollen einfach nur, dass die Regierung in ihrem Interesse und im Interesse ihres Landes handelt.
Ein solcher Politikwechsel ist aber von den Altparteien nicht zu erwarten, da sie alle mehr oder weniger die gleiche Agenda verfolgen. Neuwahlen wären für sie existenzbedrohend (alle drei Ampelparteien zusammengenommen lägen nur noch geringfügig vor der AfD). Also wenden sie sich gemeinschaftlich der Ausschaltung der Opposition zu. Dass ein Regierungswechsel, auch Neuwahlen, in einer Republik das Normalste der Welt sind, haben die Altparteien und Medien vergessen, die legitime Proteste zu “Umsturz”-Phantasien umdichten und suggerieren, dass von denen, die es anders machen möchten, eine “Diktatur” drohe. Tatsächlich will eine Mehrheit der Deutschen das genaue Gegenteil von einer Diktatur. Die Deutschen wollen mehr Demokratie, nicht weniger! Die Bürger möchten sich wieder aktiv an der Festigung und Neubelebung der Demokratie beteiligen – und sie möchten keine linksgrüne Republik. Und genau daher rührt die Panik bei Politik und Medien: Sie haben Angst vor Machtverlust, Angst vor einem Ende “ihrer” Auffassung von Demokratie. Sie wollen nicht “die Demokratie retten”, sondern sie fürchten echte Demokratie.
Direkte statt repräsentativer Demokratie
Viele der Projekte, die Regierende und Medien so großartig finden, und wesentliche Bestandteile der linksgrünen Agenda hätten keine Chance, wenn die Menschen in Deutschland demokratisch darüber entscheiden dürften. Ob Migration, Energiewende, Transpolitik oder Ukraine-Unterstützung: Die Repräsentanten des Volkes verfolgen eine Politik, die vom Volk selbst nicht mitgetragen wird. Daran etwas ändern könnten nur Reformen, die mehr Mitsprache und Mitbestimmung ermöglichen, wie es die AfD fordert. Somit warnen Medien und Politiker hier also nicht etwa vor einer drohenden “Diktatur” in Deutschland, sondern ironischerweise vor dem genauen Gegenteil: Sie agitieren und stemmen sich gegen die Einführung einer direkten Demokratie.
Die sogenannte repräsentative Demokratie in Deutschland ist nämlich keine wirkliche Demokratie; in ihr können die Menschen alle vier oder fünf Jahre auf unterschiedlichen Gebietskörperschaftsebenen Vertreter aus einer vorbestimmten engen Parteienliste wählen, die dann für sie Entscheidungen treffen. Über die eigentlichen Sachthemen dürfen die Deutschen nicht abstimmen. Daher heißt dieses deutsche System auch „repräsentative Demokratie“ und nicht „Demokratie“ – weil nicht das Volk, sondern seine gewählten Vertreter alle Entscheidungen treffen, und an keiner Stelle der Verfassung auch nur ergänzende Plebiszite vorgesehen sind. Und wovor Politiker und Medien derzeit eben so in Panik geraten, ist gerade die Aussicht, dass Deutschland eine echte Demokratie werden könnte; eine, in der die Menschen tatsächlich Einfluss auf den politischen Entscheidungsprozess bekommen. Gäbe es diese Möglichkeit heute schon, wäre der Ampel-Koalitionsvertrag wohl schon mehrmals von den Bürgern in der Luft zerrissen worden.
Bodenlose Gleichsetzungen
Dieses Plus an Mitbestimmung, diese Entmachtung und Entflechtung der wahren Entscheidungszirkel gilt es aus Sicht von Politik und Medien zu verhindern – und wir dürfen gespannt sein, was sie sich in den nächsten Wochen und Monaten noch alles einfallen lassen werden, um die AfD vor der anstehenden Europawahl und den anstehenden Landtagswahlen zu schwächen. Damit sich einmal jeder selbst ein Bild von der Alternative machen kann, nachfolgend eine Zusammenfassung aus dem Grundsatzprogramm der AfD (das komplette Programm ist online jederzeit nachlesbar). Die Partei, die von Deutschlands “Anständigen” und Musterdemokraten allen Ernstes als “neue NSDAP” hingestellt wird, fordert unter anderem:

Wiedereinführung der allgemeinen Wehrpflicht
Fokussierung auf die deutsche Leitkultur und nicht auf “Multikulti”

Jetzt stellt sich die Preisfrage: Wo sind denn da rechtsextreme Ziele versteckt? Wie kann das Erstarken einer Partei mit solchen völlig legitimen, grundgesetz- und rechtsstaatskonformen bloß zum Anlass für “Nie wieder!” oder für “Wehret den Anfängen!“-Appellen gereichen?!?

Macron has involved his country in a reckless covert war with Russia – all in total deception of the French people.
French President Emmanuel Macron sought this week to revamp his tattered authority over a nation that seems to have grown weary of this self-important charlatan.
In a special media conference lasting two and half hours broadcast to the nation, it seemed Macron was taking a leaf out of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s book. Putin gives an annual marathon press conference taking questions from journalists and the public on all and sundry national and international issues.
It didn’t go so well for Macron who ended up appearing as if he was pleading to be given respect.
There is no doubting Putin’s command of issues. Over four hours, he can hold the audience’s interest with cogent rational arguments, making his points with comprehensive facts and figures. Putin’s approval rating among the Russian public is riding high consistently in what can be deduced as genuine respect for his leadership.
It beggars belief that any Western leader could comparably acquit themselves, speaking freely for several hours on diverse topics. Biden, Sunak, Scholz, and Trudeau are joke figures who wilt under any scrutiny.
Macron tried to do a Putin this week with his nationally televised presser and the French people weren’t impressed. Polls showed, cited by NPR Radio, that a big majority (64 percent) of French disapproved of their president’s performance and the content of his views. He was criticized for peddling reactionary ideas.
Macron talked a lot about the need for national unity and restoring France’s international reputation. He called for a “civic rearmament” which was a strange way to promote national renewal. It smacked of fascism. Like much of his pitch, Macron sounded insecure, authoritarian, and chauvinistic. His views were more assertions than reasoned arguments. He was obviously concerned about the popularity of opposition leader Marie Le Pen, and he traduced her as leading a “party of lies”.
Not a good move by Macron especially when many French citizens can see that Monsieur Le President is himself a flagrant liar.
During his appeal to the nation, Macron spun the outrageous calumny that France must support the Ukrainian regime with billions of more euros because, as he lied with a bare face, if Russia wins the war in that country (a war instigated by NATO), then Putin would continue an expansionist invasion of Europe.
Talk about absurd scaremongering. Macron must take his compatriots for complete fools to peddle such hogwash on primetime TV.
Macron said his countrymen and women need to agree to supply more Scalp cruise missiles to the (Nazi-adulating) Kiev regime in order to maintain attacks on Russian territory, such as the strikes on Belgorod at New Year which killed dozens of civilians. These French-supplied missiles have also been used to target the Russian territory of Crimea.
Just as Macron was exalting supposed French values, it turned out that an entire company of French mercenaries was killed in the Ukrainian city of Kharkov by a devastating Russian missile strike. At least 60 French special forces were blown apart. Paris is denying that French forces were killed.
Russia summoned the French ambassador in Moscow the next day to deliver an official rebuke to Paris on the involvement of its troops in the war. This is not a new discovery by any means. American, British, Canadian, Polish, and other NATO mercenaries have been long-tracked by Russia as unofficial participants in the two-year conflict. The French have taken a particularly significant role in sending foreign legionnaires to Ukraine to fight Russia.

This gives the lie to the real nature of the war in Ukraine. It is a U.S.-led NATO proxy war against Russia, which Russia is winning despite the array of foreign weaponry, funding, and troops.
Macron, the pathetic puppet who seems to have delusions of grandeur as if he is a reincarnation of Napoleon or De Gaulle, is immersing his country into a futile but recklessly dangerous war with nuclear-powered Russia.
If Macron spent the billions he has funneled into propping up a corrupt Neo-Nazi regime in Kiev on funding French public services and paying French workers a decent salary then maybe the French public would not have so much contempt for the former Rothschild investment banker sitting in the Elysée Palace.
Macron was elected president in May 2017 with the promise to “restore French greatness”. He was re-elected again narrowly in 2022. But his lies, empty promises, and delusions are finally catching up with him.
Like other Western so-called leaders, the French president has trashed his country’s economy to fuel a U.S.-led covert war against Russia in Ukraine. The warmongering is being done behind the Western public’s back with outrageous mendacity and deceit.
Macron and other Western charlatan leaders lament the loss of their political authority as if that is some kind of mystery or the fault of Russian propaganda and misinformation. The reasons for the growing public contempt of Western politicians are obvious to everyone but the liars in office.
