Meine Antwort lautet also: Hoffnung liegt im Scheitern. Die Wiederherstellung einer humanen und freien Gesellschaft hängt von den Menschen selbst ab.
Elon Musk has condemned a lack of action on the part of US officials in the case of an American journalist, Gonzalo Lira, who had been jailed by Kiev and who ultimately died in Ukrainian custody. Authorities there allegedly ignored Lira’s serious health problems for a long time, while he remained behind bars on accusations of justifying Moscow’s military operation against Kiev.Advertisement
Lira moved to Ukraine and married a local woman in 2010. When long-simmering tensions between Moscow and Kiev turned to military engagement in February 2022, the journalist started actively covering the fighting on social media. He also blamed the development on Kiev and its Western backers, asserting that Ukraine had no chance of winning against Russia.
Lira, who was 55 when he died, had also been criticizing efforts by Western media to portray Ukraine as a “democracy,” pointing to rampant corruption and publishing a list of Zelensky’s opponents who, he claimed, had been “disappeared” by various authorities.
The US State Department confirmed Lira’s death to Russia’s TASS news agency on Friday. He had been in pre-trial detention in Ukraine’s city of Kharkov since May 2023. News website The Grayzone has reported that, since last October, he had severe health problems from pneumonia and a collapsed lung. The Ukrainian authorities only acknowledged the issue on December 22, according to Lira’s own note, cited by the news outlet.
Genocidal intent in Gaza ran from the top of Israel’s power structure all the way down to the soldiers doing the dirty work. From Chris Hedges at scheerpost.com:
The International Court of Justice may be all that stands between the Palestinians in Gaza and genocide.
I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream- by Mr. Fish
The exhaustive 84-page brief submitted by South Africa to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) charging Israel with genocide is hard to refute. Israel’s campaign of indiscriminate killing, wholesale destruction of infrastructure, including housing, hospitals and water treatment plants, along with its use of starvation as a weapon, accompanied by genocidal rhetoric from its political and military leaders who speak of destroying Gaza and ethnically cleansing the 2.3 million Palestinians, makes a strong case against Israel for genocide.Advertisement

Israel’s smearing of South Africa as “the legal arm” of Hamas exemplifies the bankruptcy of its defense, a smear replicated by those who claim that demonstrations held to call for a ceasefire and protect Palestinian human rights are “anti-Semitic.” Israel, its genocide live streamed to the world, has no substantial counter argument.
But that does not mean the judges on the court will rule in South Africa’s favor. The pressure the U.S. will bring – Secretary of State Antony Blinken has called the South African charges “meritless” – on the judges, drawn from the member states of the U.N., will be intense.
A ruling of genocide is a stain that Israel – which weaponizes the Holocaust to justify its brutalization of the Palestinians – would find hard to remove. It would undercut Israel’s insistence that Jews are eternal victims. It would shatter the justification for Israel’s indiscriminate killing of unarmed Palestinians and construction of the world’s largest open air prison in Gaza, along with the occupation of the West Bank and East Jerusalem. It would sweep away the immunity to criticism enjoyed by the Israel lobby and its Zionist supporters in the U.S., who have successfully equated criticisms of the “Jewish State” and support for Palestinian rights with anti-Semitism.
Turns out “Israel has a right to defend itself” actually meant “Israel has a right to commit genocide, and no other countries have a right to stop it.”
Axios has a ridiculous new article out citing multiple anonymous US officials titled “Biden ‘running out’ of patience with Bibi as Gaza war hits 100 days”. The Biden administration keeps leaking to the press trying to put separation between their guy and the genocide in Gaza, and they are so fulla shit. Biden has had the ability to end this mass atrocity since day one. The slaughter continues because Biden wants it to. He owns this.

Netanyahu delivered a speech commemorating 100 days of Israel’s war on babies and journalists and hospitals and residential buildings saying “We will restore security to both the south and the north. Nobody will stop us — not The Hague, not the axis of evil and not anybody else.”
If I was standing on the right side of history, I don’t think the side I was standing with would be saying that not even The Hague can stop them from killing everyone they want to kill.

BREAKING: «It is a matter of public record, that South Africa enjoys close relations with Hamas» Tal Becker, representing Israel at the #ICJ
It’s so dopey how Israel apologists will yell at you if you criticize Israeli criminality without mentioning Hamas and October 7. Literally everyone knows about Hamas and October 7. Literally everyone acknowledges that Hamas attacked Israelis out of hostility to the state of Israel. Everyone, including Hamas and its most enthusiastic supporters, fully acknowledge that this happened.
Meanwhile Israel and its supporters have adamantly denied the reality of what’s been happening in Gaza since October 7. The western press have been wildly biased in favor of Israel and have been guilty of mountains of journalistic malpractice with their pathetic coverage of the ongoing Gaza massacre. The majority of westerners are still ignorant of the extent to which Israel had been abusing and killing Palestinians prior to October 7.
It is therefore necessary to talk about these things to spread awareness and counteract the propaganda and distortion, and it is not necessary to continually mention Hamas and October 7 while doing so. Literally everyone acknowledges the occurrence of the October 7 attack, while a vast percentage of the population is either uninformed or actively lying about the occurrence of all Israeli crimes from the Nakba on. Only one of these two things requires more emphasis.
❖
❖
Israel demanding that everyone condemn the Hamas attack is like a bunch of thugs punching a man in the face over and over and then demanding that everyone condemn him for hurting their hands. The Hamas attack was the natural result of Israel’s abuses upon the Palestinian people.
❖
In the mind of the empire simp, the violence of the empire’s enemies always comes completely out of nowhere, without provocation and for no reason. Ansarallah started attacking ships in the Red Sea because they’re pirates who hate freedom of navigation. Hamas attacked Israel because they’re evil and hate Jews. Putin invaded Ukraine because he’s evil and hates democracy. Grown adults portray the enemies of the empire the same way the children’s cartoon show Captain Planet portrayed its villains, cackling evilly about how they’re going to dump toxic waste into the ocean for no reason other than to hurt the environment.
❖
I’ve honestly never gotten used to being called an anti-semite, even after three months of getting it nonstop. It has never stopped being shocking to me that someone would accuse me of harboring the same prejudices which gave rise to the Holocaust in response to my criticisms of horrific mass atrocities backed by the most powerful empire the world has ever seen. It’s just absolutely deranged, despicable behavior, and I am consistently shocked to see grown adults behaving that way in public without the slightest hint of shame.

Someone asked me if I have any advice for dealing with the anxiety which comes with discovering that the western empire is the most murderous and tyrannical power structure on earth, and that we’ve been lied to about this our entire lives.
The painful emotions which come up when we discover an uncomfortable truth aren’t problems which need to be dealt with, they’re feelings which need to be felt. Let the grief, anguish, rage, shame, fear, or whatever it might be say everything it needs to say to you, in the same way you’d let a beloved child tell you about their feelings and concerns. You wouldn’t push the child away or treat them like a problem, you’d hear them out and give them a cuddle and let them know you care about them and that you’ll keep them safe. Once you’ve consciously felt a feeling all the way through and heard out everything it needs to say to you, its energy will dissipate.
Uncomfortable truths and uncomfortable feelings need to be met in the same way: head-on, with an open mind and an open heart. Moving into a truth-based relationship with life means wanting to see everything: uncomfortable truths about the world, uncomfortable truths about ourselves, and uncomfortable feelings we haven’t been allowing full expression to. It can be painful at times, even downright terrifying, but it’s also the only path to health for both our species as a collective and ourselves as individuals.
There are always, ALWAYS lies, obfuscations and manipulations involved in marketing a new war to the public, or in hiding its involvement in foreign wars from public attention.
If you’re among those who have only just begun paying attention to US foreign policy and western media bias in light of Israel’s destruction of Gaza and Biden’s act of war against Yemen, it’s important to understand that none of the depravity you’re seeing is new. The lies. The insane double standards. The murderousness. The western political/media class always does this.
Every war the US involves itself in is always facilitated by lies promulgated in one voice by the official government in Washington and by the “independent” “free” press (actually propaganda services) of the western world. They deceived the world about Ukraine. They deceived the world about Yemen. They deceived the world about Syria, Libya and Iraq. There are always, always lies, obfuscations and manipulations involved in marketing a new war to the public, or in hiding its involvement in foreign wars from public attention.
All of this manipulation and deceit is necessary to hide the fact that the US-centralized empire is the most tyrannical power structure on this planet. And make no mistake, it is an empire. Washington serves as the hub of an undeclared empire comprised of alliances, partnerships, assets, public deals and secret agreements which knit a large number of nations together into what functions as a single power structure with regard to international affairs.
Most of the beneficiaries of this power structure reside in the west, or global north, while the most exploited and abused victims of this power structure tend to reside in the east, or global south. There are all sorts of rules and regulations and narratives and justifications for why this all happens the way it happens, but if you mentally “mute” the soundtrack on the verbal overlay and just look at what’s actually happening, what you will see is the lion’s share of the world’s wealth and resources moving northward and westward from populations of a darker average skin tone toward populations of a paler average skin tone. Wherever that movement is hindered, diverted, threatened or inconvenienced, you will see western war machinery moving southward and eastward to get it back on the desired track.
Most major international conflicts can be understood as either direct or indirect efforts by the US empire to shore up planetary domination, which are often met with resistance by populations who wish to retain their sovereignty. Much of this conflict happens in the middle east because that’s where the world gets a lot of its oil from, with US-aligned nations like Israel and Saudi Arabia frequently serving as the frontline for hostilities with non-US-aligned nations like Iran and Syria as well as non-US-aligned forces like Hezbollah, Ansarallah and Hamas.
This struggle for US planetary hegemony is disguised by the western political/media class as something other than what it is, because you can’t allow the public in a democratic nation to understand clearly that their government is on the side of evil. They’ll frame it as a US-led international coalition to liberate a nation from a tyrannical dictator. As a humanitarian intervention to protect human rights. As support for Israel’s right to defend itself. As protection of freedom of navigation in the Red Sea. But what’s actually happening is the world’s most powerful and murderous power structure killing human beings in western Asia in order to secure control over a crucial resource.
You see this all over the world against nations which refuse to allow themselves to be absorbed into the US-centralized power structure like North Korea, Venezuela and Cuba, with China being by far the strongest of these and Russia a distant second. And you will notice that you have heard every nation I just mentioned cast in a very negative light by the western press over the years. This is not a coincidence.
You don’t need to believe anything I’m saying on faith. If you just keep in mind what I said and start watching the patterns for yourself while seeking out the truth day by day, you will see it for yourself. You will see the same patterns emerging over and over again, year after year. Over and over again you will see the US and the states that are aligned with it acting with extreme aggression toward non-US-aligned powers in ways that benefit the US-centralized power structure, and you will see the western press deceiving the world about what’s happening. The next Official Bad Guy you see dominating western press coverage on international affairs will be a non-US-aligned power, and if you apply diligent research and critical thinking you will find that they are not presenting an accurate picture of what’s happening.
Just keep learning and studying the patterns with open curiosity and self-honesty, and the picture will inevitably become clear to you. And then you will clearly see who’s really driving the bulk of the violence and disorder in our world.
When the American and British warships start sinking in the Red Sea, Biden and Sunak are going to go down with them.
The United States and Britain have now expanded the Middle East war to Yemen with a barrage of missile attacks on the Arabian Peninsula nation.
It is a desperate act by imperial has-beens that ultimately will hasten their demise.
The strikes involving over 100 cruise missiles hitting more than a dozen locations across Yemen were carried out with American and British warships, submarines and warplanes. It is reported that the Americans used bases in Djibouti and the United Arab Emirates, while the British flew Typhoon fighter jets from their bases in Cyprus.
The first wave of attacks on Thursday night was followed by a second wave on Friday. The latter involved U.S. forces hitting a radar station at the international airport near the Yemeni capital, Sanaa.
Yemen’s armed forces allied with the country’s Ansar Allah rebel movement have warned that all U.S. and British assets in the region are now considered legitimate targets. They said the Americans and British will incur massive revenge attacks. Regional allies among the Arab Resistance of Hezbollah and Hamas have also warned of reprisal attacks.
Ansar Allah leader Mohammed al-Bukhaiti said Washington and London have committed the greatest folly in their long history of imperial misconduct by attacking Yemen.
Canada, Australia, Netherlands and Bahrain reportedly were involved in the U.S.-led attacks on Yemen.
Russia and China were among many international voices condemning the latest strikes on Yemen, saying they were illegal acts of aggression and in flagrant violation of international law.
The U.S.-led strikes were reportedly ordered by President Joe Biden following a wave of attacks by Yemen-launched drones on American and British warships in the Red Sea area earlier this week.
On Wednesday, the United Nations Security Council voted for a resolution censuring Yemeni targeting of shipping in the Red Sea. The resolution called on the Yemenis to cease blockading the waterway. It also granted nations the right to defend their vessels from attack.
Russia and China abstained from endorsing the resolution, expressing concern that it would be cynically exploited by the U.S. and Western partners to escalate military action in the region. Within 24 hours, the Russian and Chinese skepticism was vindicated by the volley of U.S.-British missile strikes across Yemen.
The resolution has been distorted to justify American-British aggression in a time-honored fashion. British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak emphasised that the actions were “self-defense”. It stretches credulity that “defending shipping” as per the UN resolution should permit a barrage of 100 cruise missiles across Yemen.
It also suggests that Washington and London were primed to attack Yemen and that the UN resolution was merely a convenient last-minute pretext.
Another major factor is this week saw the Israeli regime in the dock facing genocide charges for its three-month-long slaughter in Gaza. The eyes of the world are on this regime and its heinous war crimes. Not only Israel, but also its Western enablers, principally the United States, Britain and other European powers. The hypocrisy and moral bankruptcy of so-called “Western values” are glaringly evident to the whole world.
It’s not just Israel in the dock on genocide charges. In effect, the U.S., Britain and other apologists also stand accused.
Arguably, the Yemenis have bravely taken a principled stance to support Palestine by using their territorial control of the Red Sea shipping route as a lever to demand the genocide in Gaza to stop. The Yemenis say the blockade on shipping will end when the genocide ends. Yemen claims it has legal right to act in such a way because the 1948 Convention on Genocide empowers nations to use their right to prevent genocide.
Obviously, the most effective way to solve the Red Sea stand-off is to implement a ceasefire in Gaza. But the Americans, British and other European powers have refused to make such a call. In other words, they are complicit in the genocide. Attacking Yemen with their naval armada is blatant evidence that the Americans and their British attack dog are acting to support the Israeli regime and its crimes against humanity.
Biden and Sunak are acting desperately to shift the global focus away from their criminal support for the genocide in Gaza. Launching a war on Yemen – and by extension threatening Iran as an ally of Yemen – is the Anglo-American gamble to use chaos as a cover for their abhorrent crimes.
But in doing so Washington and London are doubling down in their bluffing and aggression. Biden and Sunak are ordering drinks in the Last Chance Saloon that they can’t pay for.
The Americans and British think they can intimidate opponents with a fiery display of cruise missiles. This is just more of their foolish bluffing.
The Yemenis and Arab Resistance are going to inflict grievous damage on American and British assets. Biden and Sunak don’t realize the hornet’s nest they have stoked.
Both of the governments in Washington and London are despised by their own people over a pile of stinking issues, from domestic corruption to supporting genocide in Gaza and reckless proxy aggression in Ukraine against Russia.
When the American and British warships start sinking in the Red Sea, Biden and Sunak are going to go down with them.
For better or worse, the Houthis are the only political and military force doing anything practical to demand that Israel pay for its acts.
For better or worse, the Houthis are the only political and military force doing anything practical to demand that Israel pay for its acts. And despite the attack on their territory, we can already say with certainty, that the Ansar Allah movement and the pro-Palestinian resistance, in general, will be strengthened by this event.
Were it not for a rebel movement, made up of poor people living in great hardship, no other country in the region would do anything to bring some moral justice, however little, to this whole process. As they say, whoever has a lot, has the most to lose. Only the poor give what they need and this is a good example of that.
It is even curious that here and there, apart from a few diplomatic and commercial measures, the most serious diplomatic action for Israel has come from outside the continent and the Middle East: South Africa’s accusation at the International Court of Justice that the state of Israel should be tried for genocide. Of course, the accusation was immediately branded with the very vulgar epithet of “anti-Semitic”.
But the Houthis’ role in the Red Sea has produced absolutely unpredictable and — perhaps unexpected — results for the West. The Red Sea trade route accounts for 12% of global maritime trade and 12% of all oil trade. An important part of the commercial ships that travel between the Indian Ocean and Europe pass through the Red Sea.
Moreover, the importance of this route for Israel is truly decisive. The Port of Eilat essentially lives off this sea route. Disconnecting the port of Eilat from the international routes to Asia not only means that many of the goods that Israel receives from Asia will become more expensive and risk perishing, with all the economic burdens that this entails. But it also means cutting tourism, since the city of Eilat is an important tourist destination in the Middle East, and losing the competitiveness of its exports to the Asian continent.
But in the end, the financial damage might even be surmountable. What would be difficult to overcome would be the fragility in which an effective blockade of the Red Sea crossing would leave Israel.
Let’s imagine a likely scenario in which the war fronts multiply and the conflict spreads to other regions (Lebanon, Syria and Yemen). Just as Oman has closed its airspace to military planes to bomb Yemen, a country like Egypt could, in a situation of great pressure and popular pressure, consider closing the Suez Canal to boats that are linked to Israel. It wouldn’t be unheard of, as we know. Oman itself has prevented U.S. military aircraft from passing through, for various reasons. One of them has to do with a certain neutrality that the sultanate is assuming on the international stage. However, this “neutrality” is also due to the ethnic tensions it has in its territory, which borders Yemen. In any case, leaving the port of Eilat open only to boats coming from the Suez Canal would be strategically fragile.
So, while it cannot be denied that the Houthi naval blockade may be a burden for the other Arab nations that receive their ships at Red Sea ports, the fact is that for none of them the situation is as dramatic as it is for Israel. Since the goods that Israel receives by sea and from Asia can come from the Red Sea without having to go through the Suez Canal, the port of Eilat is absolutely strategic for the country’s economic stability. And without economic stability, wars can’t be won. Even against those who arm themselves with little more than stones and sticks and a few handmade rockets.
In this sense, and in the face of the danger, it didn’t take long for the U.S. to try to defend its spearhead in the Middle East, trying to organize an international coalition that they called the “Operation Prosperity Guardian”.
The attempt to mask this initiative as something intended to defend the world and the global economy will not have had the intended propaganda effects. The fact is that, as has been widely reported, many nations did not want to join in — some directly, others directly and indirectly. If, on the one hand, this was a call from the U.S., on the other, at the time, the primacy established by the Houthi for the blockade still resonated in minds: only Israeli ships or those in any way linked to that country’s interests are affected.
The refusal of some may have been due to the fear of being associated with defending the interests of the state of Israel, whose image on the international stage was increasingly linked to the bombing of civilians, the bulldozing of cities, the deportation and displacement of entire families from their homes and the summary execution of human beings.
With effort, the U.S. managed to get its team together. We couldn’t have expected anything other than what happened on January 12th, namely the attack on Yemen and in particular on the Houthi forces.
The event was widely reported in the corporate media as if it were a real victory. An attack, by world powers, one of them one of the biggest military powers on the planet, perpetrated against a depleted people, scarred by hunger and war, is sung about as a historic victory.
But the truth is that the Houthi had already won. We all remember the messages from Blinken or Biden during their frequent visits to the Zionist state: we can’t let the conflict spread to the Middle East, they said. Well, although this attack avoids the worst, which is to ensure that Israel doesn’t get involved on several fronts, so that it can carry out its plan for Gaza with impunity and calmly, the fact is that, at the moment, a new front of conflict has just been opened, which adds to the other fires that the U.S. already has in hand, and it is not yet clear how it will end.
The unpredictability of this conflict doesn’t stop there. No matter how much propaganda Uncle Sam can buy, everyone has already realized that the U.S. and its vassals will go to any lengths to defend Israel, even when it finds itself in an absolutely marginal situation in the face of international law and compliance with the most basic human rights.
With all this, the Houthi have not only managed to make Israel pay a price — still very low — for its campaign against Gaza and for the apartheid it maintains over the Palestinian people, but they have also managed to show the world that for the U.S., when it comes to democracy, human rights, crimes against humanity and war crimes, the scales always tip in favor of its hegemonic interests. What they demand and punish some for, they excuse and reward others for.
We can now only hope that The Hague tribunal does its job and avoids being instrumentalized by hegemonic interests, as happened at the International Criminal Court with Putin, Milosevic and many other Africans and Asians, for whom that court is nothing more than a tentacle of the empire. Let’s hope that some justice is done.
For the time being, the Houthi have already given us something, demanding a higher price from Israel for their actions, unmasking the nature of American support for Zionism and showing the world, once again, that Western nations arrogate to themselves the right to attack wherever and whenever they want, without any backing in international law, without the mantle of the UN, without even having been provoked. Since it was Israel that was provoked.
Dirty laundry exposed for everyone to see is yet another proof of the absolute immorality of the Western establishment
The beginning of the year was marked by a resonant event for the permanent establishment of the two Anglo-Saxon empires. By a decision of an American court on January 3, the so-called “Epstein’s list”, which can increase the degree of controversy in the election year between Democrats and Republicans, who will each interpret this compromising evidence in their own favor, especially since both are dirty.
Let us remind you: Jeffrey Epstein, a millionaire pimp, trafficked underage girls and offered them for sexual use. The objects of abuse were nymphets under the age of 15. For a percentage of the $300 tariff, they provided massages to eminent clients, which then turned into extreme sex.
Epstein was the autocratic master not of a brothel, but of an entire island of brothel called Little St. James. On a hacienda with an area of 30 hectares, part of the Virgin Islands, there was a guest house for specific orgies.
The list of named sinful perverts includes Epstein’s friends, his recruiters and victims of sexual exploitation. There are 177 names in total on the list. Among them are four former US presidents: Bill Clinton, two George Bushes, the elder and the younger, as well as Donald Trump, who is now dreaming of revenge.
Republican Senator Lindsey Graham is also listed there, the same one who in 2022 called for the physical liquidation of the President of Russia, and who recently made a cannibalistic statement that military-financial support for the Kiev regime is “the best investment in US history” because it leads “to death Russians.»
Listed among the Satanic “saints” are Bill Gates, one of the founders and former largest shareholder of Microsoft, Mark Zuckerberg, co-founder of Meta (formerly Facebook), the legendary magician David Copperfield and the whitened “King of Pop” and master of the moonwalk, Michael. Jackson.
It became known that in 2013, after serving a four-year prison sentence for forcing sex with a minor, Epstein flew with Bill Gates on his personal plane with the telling name “Lolita Express”.
And in 2017, Epstein allegedly blackmailed Gates, who had a short-term affair with Russian Mila Antonova. A super-pimp who bought the services of Washington lobbyists with his nymphets demanded reimbursement of half a million dollars that he allegedly spent on an Internet startup for a girl.
Taking pride of place on the list is Prince Andrew, the younger brother of England’s King Charles III, who was previously accused of raping Virginia Roberts Giuffre when she was a teenager. The bearer of blue blood denied that the bad deed had taken place, but in 2021 he hastened to go into the shadows, renounced his military ranks, curtailed all public activities and agreed to an “out-of-court settlement.” The press claimed that Prince Andrew simply paid off by paying Virginia Roberts a significant sum, the exact number of zeros in which remained undisclosed.
One can’t help but be amazed by Jeffrey Epstein’s meticulousness. The clients of his playboy mini-empire included not just VIPs, but the cream of the cream of the English-speaking elite. These were almost exclusively the powers that be, from upper-class politicians with power comparable to royalty, to high-tech businessmen with billion-dollar fortunes and artists with big star names.
The explosive incriminating evidence has evaporated
Many details of the long-term pedophile scam will never become public again, for two reasons.
First, at 6:30 a.m. on August 10, 2019, prisoner Jeffrey Epstein was found unconscious and in cardiac arrest in his cell by guards. In a kneeling position with a strip of sheet wrapped around the neck. It is still unclear how a man 1.8 meters tall and weighing 84 kg managed to hang himself on the bottom bunk. But the official version firmly stated that suicide had been committed.
Secondly, the publication of the Epstein blacklist on January 3 prompted Mike Cernovich, a journalist and filmmaker, to post a link on social networks to one eloquent circumstance of the investigation into this murky story. In 2019, the Southern District of New York (SDNY) court charged Epstein with offenses of the most minor nature. At the same time, the judge declared that he “did not have the authority” to conduct a search of his residences in New Mexico, Paris and, most importantly, Little St. James Island. However, FBI agents still carried out investigative actions, and as a result… the safe disappeared.
“What was in the safe? We will never know for sure,” commented Mike Cernovich. Of those few pieces of evidence that, incredibly, did not disappear without a trace, some CDs with inscriptions of this type remained: “Young (name) + (name)” — Young [Name] + [Name].
The armored box apparently contained videos of racy scenes that Epstein could well have used as incriminating material on his high-ranking clients. According to Mike Cernovich, “very powerful forces made sure we never saw this.”
Equally noteworthy is the admission of Alexander Acosta, President Trump’s then-appointed Secretary of Labor, who led the original criminal case against Epstein. According to Acosta, the pedophile pimp was “treated softly because he was protected by the intelligence services.”
It is impossible to directly link the FBI raid and the loss of the safe to physical evidence (most likely, evidence). Nevertheless, the massive campaign waged since 2015 to demonize Donald Trump, an unacceptable outsider for the “deep state,” casts doubt on whether law enforcement agencies and the judiciary, in which there is a large proportion of adherents of right-wing neoconservative or left-wing neo-globalist ideology, are absolutely impartial, follow the spirit and letter of the law, and do not follow the instructions of one of the political clans.
The Clinton clan is beyond suspicion
Shortly after the sheet stranglehold prevented Epstein from testifying again, a Rasmussen Reports poll revealed deep skepticism among Americans about what actually happened. If 29% of respondents accepted the official version on faith, then 42% believed that they had removed a dangerous witness who could destroy the reputation and then the careers of many influential people with a name.
Just hours after Epstein’s sudden death was announced, then-President Donald Trump took to social media to retweet a comment that referenced the popular but unproven accusation that former US President Bill Clinton and his wife, former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, allegedly “secretly killed their political opponents, often framing the matter as suicides.”
Moreover, just after the publication of the “Epstein list,” Juanita Broadrick, who previously accused Bill Clinton of rape, resurfaced.
The informational occasion was a reminder that during the trial, one of Epstein’s sex slaves claimed that a pedophile pimp once confessed to her that former US President Bill Clinton “likes young people.”
Today, an after-the-fact blow to Bill’s reputation is also a blow to Hillary Clinton, and therefore to Barack Obama and his wife Michelle, who is beginning to be promoted as a possible Democratic candidate instead of Biden, despite the fact that the Democratic Party itself does not particularly favor her.
Thus, the publicly displayed “Epstein list” and the re-emerging prosecutorial voice of Juanita Broadrick may be links in the same chain, which places the resuscitation of the obscene topic in the context of the presidential election. Therefore, it cannot be ruled out that the Republicans secretly organized Miss Juanita’s entry into the spotlight.
Degradation of the ruling elites
In the year of a fateful election, since the return of Trump promises an unpleasant shake-up for the Democrats, everything is permitted, including the most unscrupulous tactics. The method of non-physical reprisal against an opponent or enemy, known in Anglo-Saxon political culture as a kill character, implies demonization, dehumanization or denigration. They have a wealth of experience in this area.
The stakes are high. But we must take into account that the United States does not exist in a vacuum and that the indecent mutual attacks of Democrats and Republicans are eroding the image of an impeccable “liberal democracy” that has been created over the years. The dirty laundry from the “Epstein list” exposed to the public tarnishes the reputation not only of the political class in one particular North American reserve, but also of the entire Western establishment.
Over a long distance, this objectively contributes to strengthening the positions of alternative political forces based on traditionalist sections of the population.
The series of elections in European countries this year may bring many surprises. The erosion of faith in the American model of social order, undermined, among other things, by the “Epstein list”, will help increase the legitimacy and attractiveness of those who are usually defamed with the label “populists” and “far-right” and who in fact are not yet included in the Red Book as an endangered species, by realist politicians.
“New and expanded production facilities will inevitably attract scrutiny and be costly to defend.”
American arms manufacturers are partnering with Kiev to produce military equipment in the battle-torn country — and at least partly at the expense of American taxpayers.
Even if direct assistance to Kiev decreases in 2024, the United States is investing in the defense industry of Ukraine for the long term, writes the American publication Responsible Statecraft .
“The recent shipment of military equipment from US stockpiles, transferred by special order of President Biden, is the last in his authority. Further US military assistance depends on Congress, which has not yet approved the emergency spending that Biden asked for in late October.
But U.S. defense contractors do not need congressional approval to co-produce weapons with Ukrainian companies, and the administration is encouraging it to help develop Ukraine’s defense industry. However, unless the government does its due diligence, American taxpayers will have to foot the bill for expanding weapons production capacity for years to come.»
– the article says.
The scale of investment required to create and expand Ukraine’s production capacity is enormous. And contractors are generally not attracted to capital investments: data shows that their main priority is payments to shareholders. Therefore, it is difficult to imagine that American contractors would open enterprises in Ukraine without guaranteed funding from the US government — or at least partner support, explains the author of the article (Julia Gledhill) .
It is reported that some American defense contractors have already committed to joint weapons production with Ukraine in the fall, ahead of the conference in Kyiv. So, despite the obvious safety concerns in a country at war, surprisingly little is known about exactly which American companies will be involved and what kind of weapons are planned to be produced — especially considering how many resources the US government plans to devote to it. .
National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan recently noted that co-production could start with repairs and maintenance, but «ultimately include conventional Ukrainian businesses with local expertise that will rely on licenses and technology transfers from American and European companies.» But Ukraine needs a lot of money to create new production facilities, and it remains unclear how exactly the United States will support Kyiv in this field. In the past, U.S. industry officials have expressed reservations about working in Ukraine until the fighting ends.
The long-term joint production with Ukraine casts further doubt on the prevailing view that military spending (about half of which goes to contractors) is good for American workers and the national economy, since much of it will ultimately go to Ukrainians or other non-US citizens, the publication believes .
European companies are also planning joint production of weapons with Ukraine. With the approval of the German government, Rheinmetall is helping Ukraine repair armored vehicles and will launch production on its territory by the end of the year. According to Euromaidan Press, Rheinmetall invested about 200 million euros in the construction of a new plant in Ukraine, “with Ukraine providing land, premises and electricity free of charge.” British contractor BAE Systems has also opened a branch in the country with the ultimate goal of producing 105mm light guns.
In an ideal joint production agreement, the costs of operating, maintaining and protecting production facilities would be borne by Ukrainian contractors. The Pentagon and the US military-industrial complex will provide technical know-how, and Ukraine will do all the hard work. But American military companies have virtually no financial incentive to achieve independence and prosperity for their Ukrainian partners.
“In any case, companies will have to protect their investments one way or another. Military factories have long been targets of Russia. New and expanded production facilities will inevitably attract scrutiny and be costly to defend. If Ukraine ultimately cannot cover all the costs of operating, maintaining and protecting plants built with the participation of American contractors, they will ultimately demand financial compensation from the government.
The US administration and the Ukraine deal team should ensure that co-production agreements make it clear that financial responsibility for operating, maintaining and protecting these facilities will fall on Ukrainian companies. It is possible that the administration really wants to help Ukraine create an independent defense industrial base, but this definitely contradicts the financial interests of American military contractors,”
