The economy, like any other branch of human activity, does not tolerate emptiness. The Biden doctrine is a cynical effort to cash in on the blood of another nation.

Joe Biden created for the U.S. a war like no other, one where others die and the U.S. simply sits back and pays the bills on a gargantuan scale. No attempts are made at diplomacy by the Americans, and the diplomatic efforts of others like the Chinese are dismissed as evil attempts to gain influence in the area (similar to the dismissal of Chinese diplomatic work in the Yemen war.) Biden is coming close to achieving 1984’s end state of perpetual warfare, while only putting a handful of American lives at risk. He has learned lessons from the Cold War, and has already put them into play. Can we call it the Biden Doctrine yet?
Biden’s strategy is clear enough now after well more than a year of conflict; what he has been sending to Ukraine jumped from helmets and uniforms to F-16s in only fifteen months and shows no signs of stopping. The problem is U.S. weapons are never enough for victory and are always “just enough” to allow the battle to go on until the next round. If the Ukrainians think they are playing the U.S. for arms, they best check who is really paying for everything in blood.
Putin is playing this game himself in a way, careful not to introduce anything too powerful, such as strategic bombers, and upset the balance and offer Biden the chance to intervene in the war directly: One can hear old man Joe Biden on TV now, explaining American airstrikes are needed to prevent a genocide, the go-to excuse he learned at Obama’s knee. Ukraine will learn even with the promise of the F-16 it can’t acquire aircraft and train up pilots fast enough (minimum training time is 18-24 months), and next will be begging the U.S. to serve as its air force. That’s what the current escalation portends: air power.
As it is, the planes are likely to be based out of Poland and Romania, suggesting NATO will pick up the high-skilled tasks (and costs) of maintaining and repairing them. Left unclear is the NATO role in required aerial refueling to keep the planes lingering over the battlefield. F-16s aside, a spin off bonus to all these weapons gifts is that the vast majority of transfers to date have been “presidential drawdowns.” This means the U.S. sends used or older weapons to Ukraine, after which the Pentagon can use the Congressionally authorized funds to replenish their stocks by purchasing new arms. The irony that war machines once in Iraq under President Obama are now recycled on the ground in Ukraine under his former vice president can’t be missed.
The U.S. strategy seems based on creating a ghastly tie of sorts, two sides lined up across a field shooting at each other until one side calls it quits for the day. The same strategy was in play in 1865 and 1914, but the new factor is today those armies face off across those fields with 21st century HIMARS artillery, machine guns, and other tools of killing far more effective than a musket or even a Gatling gun. It is unsustainable, literally chewing up men—albeit not Americans. The question of how many more Ukrainians have to die is answered privately by Biden as ‘potentially all of them.’ Anything else requires you to cynically believe Biden thinks he can simply purchase victory.
Up until now this has all been the Cold War playbook. Fighting to the last Afghan was a strategy perfected in Soviet-held Afghanistan in the 1980s. What is different now is the scale—since Russia invaded Ukraine, the United States has sent over $40 billion worth of military aid to support Kiev’s war effort, the single largest arms transfer in U.S. history and one with no signs of stopping. A single F-16 costs up to $350 million a copy if bought with weapons, maintenance equipment, and spare parts kits.
Yet despite the similarities to Cold War Strategy 101, some lessons have been learned over the intervening years. One of America’s failures throughout the Cold War and the War on Terror was the use of puppet governments largely imposed or kept on life support by American money and muscle. Because these governments lacked the support of the people (see Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan), they were non-starters with the lifespan of fruit flies. Ukraine is different; the puppet government is the government, beholden to the U.S. for its very survival but more or less supported directly by the people for now.
The other lesson learned has to do with nation-building, or rebuilding, or reconstruction—whatever the vast postwar expenditures will be called in this conflict. No more straight-up governmental efforts as in Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan. This time it will be all private enterprise. “It is obvious that American business can become the locomotive that will once again push forward global economic growth,” President Zelensky said, boasting BlackRock, JP Morgan, and Goldman Sachs. Others, he said, “have already become part of our Ukrainian way.”
The Ukrainian chamber of commerce called the country “the world’s largest construction site.” The New York Timesechoed one prediction that claimed rebuilding efforts will cost $750 billion. Ukraine reconstruction will be, says the Times, a “gold rush…. Russia is stepping up its offensive heading into the second year of the war, but already the staggering rebuilding task is evident. Hundreds of thousands of homes, schools, hospitals and factories have been obliterated along with critical energy facilities and miles of roads, rail tracks and seaports. The profound human tragedy is unavoidably also a huge economic opportunity.” Earlier this year JP Morgan and Zelensky signed a memorandum of understanding stipulating Morgan would assist Ukraine in its reconstruction.
And maybe those large American companies have learned the lessons of Iraq and Afghanistan. Of the billions spent, much money was wasted on dead ends and much was siphoned off due to corruption. But success or failure, the contractors always got paid in our Wars of Terror. With that in mind, more than 300 companies from 22 countries signed up for a Rebuild Ukraine exhibition and conference in Warsaw. At the World Economic Forum in Switzerland, a standing-room-only crowd packed a conference called Ukraine House Davos to discuss investment opportunities.
The eventual gold rush in rebuilding makes for an interesting addendum to the Biden strategy of fighting to the last Ukrainian. The more that is destroyed the more that needs to be rebuilt, which offers more money for U.S. companies smart enough to wait by the trough for the killing to subside. But why wait? Drones operated by Danish companies have already mapped every bombed-out structure in the Mykolaiv region, with an eye toward using the data to help decide which reconstruction contracts should be issued.
So let’s put some lipstick on this pig of a strategy and call it the Biden Doctrine. Part I is to limit direct U.S. combat involvement while fanning the flames for others. Part II is to provide massive amounts of arms to enable a fight to the last local person. Part III is to transform the home government into a puppet instead of creating an unpopular one afresh. Part IV is to turn the reconstruction process into a profit center for American companies. How long the war lasts and how many die are not part of the strategy.
The off-ramp in Ukraine, a diplomatic outcome that resets the map to pre-invasion 2022 levels, is clear enough to Washington. The first thing that catches your eye is that Washington DC remains a ghost town. As the news confirms, US government officials “would rather stay at home, perhaps forever, leaving major federal offices empty and the city stranded.”
The companies’ excuse is that they are doing “remote work”.
The next piece of evidence is a photograph sent to us by the P3 Freemasons, which shows that the Rockefeller-owned UN Headquarters building in New York is apparently locked. We ask our readers in New York to personally confirm to us if this is true.
Further evidence of this is that US ports are closed and trade is down. The closure of ports like Seattle is due to «labor disputes,» but that doesn’t explain the decline in demand for cardboard boxes, which are a mainstay of trade.
Asian intelligence sources explain that attempts to use the royal gold of Taiwan and Thailand to support the activities of the American corporation were thwarted. So who exactly is the FBI afraid of, who could have committed the murder, and why can’t they protect a high-profile informant? What happened to witness protection?
Perhaps Jens Psaki Rockefeller should have asked former FBI chief James Comey about this rather than talking about Trump’s fear of retaliation.
A sign that the U.S. military has finally gotten its way and acknowledged Trump as commander-in-chief is that the U.S. military radio station, which up until now has been 100% supportive of “Biden” propaganda, is now covering the “Biden” story of bribery. Also, it’s striking that Trump is now being protected by the military and not by the Secret Service, as shown in this photo below.

Mai 1968 : une révolution, une farce, un mythe, une brocante avec trouvailles et vieilleries ? Cinquante ans après, l’événement reste une énigme tant les motivations et certaines manipulations souterraines forment un tissage complexe. L’écrivain Olivier Germain-Thomas raconte son Mai 68.
Pourquoi ce parallèle entre Mai 68 et une brocante ?
Olivier Germain-Thomas : Dans une brocante, vous avez du bien et du pas bien. J’ai étudié le bouddhisme, j’étais assez loin de l’engagement politique et, au début, Mai 68 m’a plutôt amusé : Faites l’amour, mais pas la guerre… Ou Sous les pavés la plage… On est tous d’accord ! Mais j’ai très vite compris – j’avais quand même une petite expérience politique pour avoir fait la campagne de Charles de Gaulle pendant la présidentielle de 1965 – qu’il y avait derrière des trotskistes qui étaient très bien organisés. Au Parti communiste, les jeunes étaient plutôt séduits, mais le Parti communiste en lui-même a joué la carte de la stabilité, tout simplement parce qu’il faisait une analyse objective de la situation et le Parti communiste déteste les gauchistes. En plus, il n’avait pas envie de se faire déborder sur sa gauche. J’ai relevé dans un livre de Jacques Vendroux qu’à l’Assemblée nationale Waldeck Rochet lui a demandé de ne pas céder, ce qui n’était quand même pas mal de la part d’un communiste ! C’était une affaire très compliquée, que l’on simplifie un peu à l’occasion de ce cinquantenaire, comme s’il y avait des merveilleux révolutionnaires qui avaient toutes les qualités, le reste étant de l’ordre de la réaction. C’était beaucoup plus subtil.
Mais je n’avais pas envie de faire un livre d’anciens combattants sur ces souvenirs et j’ai voulu me projeter davantage dans l’avenir parce que j’ai eu la chance, à la suite de ces événements, de rencontrer André Malraux à plusieurs reprises et je parle évidemment de mon admiration pour lui. J’ai voulu aussi m’interroger sur le problème des racines, car les gens n’ont pas pris suffisamment conscience, face à la mondialisation, du malaise qui se crée sur toute la planète à cause de l’éradication des racines. Comment maintenir nos racines sans tomber dans ce que l’on pourrait appeler l’extrême droite ou des partis que je rejette totalement ? La question religieuse me semble capitale aujourd’hui. On voit la caricature de ce que peut donner une religion, nommons-la, de ce que peut donner l’islam quand il est habité par la violence, mais aussi par l’hindouisme. Je vais pratiquement chaque année en Inde et je vois les extrémistes hindous. Je vois également au Japon des extrémistes shintos. J’observe que face à cette mondialisation, il y a un raidissement sur des valeurs religieuses et j’essaie d’ouvrir des portes.
Au début, vous n’étiez qu’une petite poignée à vous opposer au mouvement de Mai 68. Pourquoi ce choix ?
Pendant quelques jours, j’ai été plutôt content, mais je me suis rapidement rendu compte que nous allions ébranler un pouvoir qui, à mes yeux, était extraordinaire. Il y avait eu le voyage de de Gaulle en Union soviétique, où il parle de la Russie éternelle, le discours de Phnom Penh, le discours de Montréal… Donc, soudain, la politique étrangère de la France prenait une dimension internationale magnifique. Je sentais qu’il y avait quelque chose qui revivait par rapport à notre histoire et, à cause de cette stupidité, l’effet d’entraînement des uns et des autres, ces étudiants risquaient d’ébranler ce régime. Donc, il fallait prendre ses responsabilités. Je les ai prises et je n’ai pas reçu un coup tout au long de ces journées, alors que j’ai pris la parole dans des amphithéâtres. On voulait simplement m’envoyer chez le psychanalyste…
Lorsque vous avez rejoint ce groupe d’opposants, vous étiez très peu nombreux dans un local et tout se faisait en bricolant. Finalement, vous étiez des marginaux…
C’était effectivement du bricolage ! Rue de Solférino, il y avait une association de soutien au général de Gaulle – je vous parle du bon côté de la rue – et nous n’étions qu’une poignée. Au sein du parti gaulliste, la plupart des apparatchiks étaient sous leur lit à ce moment-là, mais il y en avait quelques-uns qui résistaient, comme Charles Pasqua. Nous étions très peu, comme si, soudain, quelque chose se défaisait petit à petit, comme si cette Ve République, que nous pensions très solide, allait se défaire. Le général de Gaulle s’est trompé le 24 mai quand il a fait un discours qui est tombé à plat et il y a cette fameuse journée du 29 où il s’est ressaisi, ce qui a permis de retourner la situation et qui prouve bien que la situation n’était pas révolutionnaire. Connaissez-vous une révolution où un seul discours annihile la révolution ?
Certes, c’est facile à dire maintenant mais, à ce moment-là, tout le monde pensait que tout s’effondrerait…
On l’a vu puisqu’à partir du 13 mai il y a eu des millions de grévistes, avec des piquets très solides, et la majorité des jeunes se sont pris d’une espèce d’enthousiasme pour ce mouvement. J’imagine que des sociologues vont analyser en profondeur les raisons qui font que dans un pays qui était relativement prospère et stable, les choses se sont effondrées aussi vite, mais aussi pourquoi elles se sont redressées aussi vite…
Dans votre étude, vous soulignez que sans cultiver l’idée simpliste que les complots régissent l’histoire, il est néanmoins certain que la spontanéité du mouvement de Mai a été soutenue par les nombreuses et contradictoires forces hostiles à la politique de Charles de Gaulle. Certains estiment que les États-Unis et Israël ont été à l’origine de Mai 68. Qu’en pensez-vous ?
À l’époque, on accusait Cuba, ce qui est entièrement faux. On sait d’ailleurs que Fidel Castro envoyait d’excellents cigares à de Gaulle et qu’il avait plutôt de l’admiration pour lui. Je ne sais pas si c’était réciproque… Le Parti communiste ne souhaitait pas du tout le renversement de Charles de Gaulle, parce que le Parti communiste – tenu quand même par Moscou – était ravi de ses coups de pied à la présence américaine au Vietnam et aussi contre le dollar. Éric Branca a publié un livre basé sur des archives réelles et l’on voit très bien que les agents de la CIA à Paris et dans d’autres villes de province avaient pour instruction de faire tomber de Gaulle. Je ne dis pas qu’ils sont la cause de ce mouvement, mais ils en ont profité et ils ont mis de l’huile sur le feu. Maintenant, nous en avons la preuve.
D’ailleurs, dans la plupart des révolutions, il y a toujours des éléments étrangers qui alimentent la contestation lorsque la politique menée par le pays est en contradiction avec celle de ses agents…
On croyait que c’était Moscou ou La Havane : non, c’était Washington…
Parmi ces agitateurs, vous consacrez un portrait à Daniel Cohn-Bendit en rappelant qu’il était l’invité régulier du Centre américain de Paris, dirigé par un correspondant de la CIA… Plus près de nous, en tant que député européen, il a voté toutes les directives qui arrangeaient le libéralisme et les intérêts américains…
À l’époque, j’aurais pu me sentir plus à droite que Daniel Cohn-Bendit et, maintenant, c’est l’inverse ! Je le vois complètement avec ceux qui dominent le monde, c’est-à-dire la finance internationale et l’Europe de Bruxelles, alors que je me sens en opposition sur ces deux points. C’est pour cette raison que j’aimerais bien avoir un débat avec lui…
Vous faisiez partie de cette poignée de militants qui ont organisé la fameuse manifestation et vous pensiez qu’avec 30 000 personnes ce serait déjà un chiffre miraculeux…

À l’origine, il y a des sortes de mauvaises coïncidences. Au moment du démarrage, Pompidou était en Iran et en Afghanistan. Quand il revient, il fait ouvrir la Sorbonne, ce qu’il n’aurait pas dû faire et, à ce moment-là, de Gaulle part en Roumanie. C’est intéressant pour un historien. Parfois, les conjonctures sont néfastes et, à la fin, elles deviennent positives… Il y a le coup de génie de de Gaulle d’aller voir Massu. Il ne voulait pas aller le voir en Allemagne, mais dans les Vosges. Il faisait mauvais temps et, à ce moment-là, le général demande à l’hélicoptère d’aller à Baden-Baden, puisqu’il y avait des troupes d’occupation françaises dans cette zone. Il y a un mystère sur ce qui s’est vraiment dit entre Massu et de Gaulle : était-il complètement déprimé ? On peut se dire qu’à partir du moment où de Gaulle fait ce grand coup de bluff, rentre dormir tranquillement en récitant des vers, puis fait son grand discours, notre manifestation est puissamment aidée par le retournement complet de l’opinion. Finalement, au lieu d’être 30 000, nous étions un million…
Les policiers et les Renseignements généraux vous ont confié que des extrémistes avaient préparé des armes et que cette mani-festation aurait pu très mal tourner…
C’est quelque chose que je ne comprends pas et que l’histoire devra un jour élucider. Ceux que l’on appelle les Katangais (certains extrémistes gauchistes) avaient des armes et on le savait. Rien n’est plus facile que de prendre une grenade et de l’envoyer vers les manifestants en disant que la grenade a été envoyée par la police… Or, cela n’a pas été fait. À ce moment-là, il y aurait sans doute eu une vraie révolution. Pourquoi les services qui voulaient faire tomber de Gaulle ne sont-ils pas allés jusqu’à cette extrémité ? Je n’ai pas la réponse, mais cela aurait pu se faire.
Aujourd’hui, lorsque l’on interroge ceux qui n’ont pas connu cette période, elle apparaît comme une séquence sympathique, une petite révolution qui a fait avancer les choses dans le bon sens…
Si l’on se place sur le plan de la grande politique que menait de Gaulle, il est évident que Mai 68 a porté un coup à son moral. C’est évident. Sur le plan des mœurs, je ne porte pas un jugement de valeur, mais il est vrai que des portes se sont ouvertes et il y a eu, par rapport à une autorité, par rapport à la liberté des filles, quelque chose qui était dans l’air du temps. Donc, je comprends très bien que les garçons et les filles d’aujourd’hui qui profitent de cette avancée soient contents. Mais en regardant cela d’un point de vue géopolitique, l’analyse est plus complexe.
Si Mai 68 n’avait pas eu lieu, n’y a-t-il pas eu une évolution naturelle des choses et, aujourd’hui, nous en serions à peu près au même point ?
Vous avez raison, la révolution sexuelle s’est faite aux États-Unis et en Suède avant d’arriver en France. Cela ne l’a pas créée, mais cela l’a accélérée. La pilule a joué un très grand rôle, c’est évident, comme l’effondrement des valeurs qui tenaient la famille, l’Église qui n’a plus le pouvoir moral qu’elle a eu, le rôle du père traité de tous les noms… Donc, le mouvement était en marche et Mai 68 a accéléré tout cela.
Ce qui est intéressant, c’est l’analyse du général de Gaulle sur le libéralisme car les braves gens qui étaient sur les Champs-Élysées voulaient empêcher les bolcheviques de faire la révolution, alors que lui a compris que c’était plutôt le capitalisme qui était à l’origine de tout cela…
L’affaire sérieuse, c’était quand même la révolte des ouvriers. C’était autre chose que celle des étudiants, qui étaient plutôt des bourgeois privilégiés. Le général de Gaulle voit qu’il y a des millions d’ouvriers qui avaient voté pour lui et qui, soudain, se sont retournés. Alors, il s’est demandé ce qui se passait : le travailleur se sent dépossédé dans les usines et il faut donc créer la participation. Une idée qu’il avait lancée auparavant, mais qu’il n’avait pas réalisée. Selon lui, la réponse communiste était mauvaise, mais la réponse du libéralisme intégral était aussi mauvaise. Il fallait donc trouver un système permettant aux travailleurs de se faire entendre sur le plan des décisions importantes à prendre et, en même temps, qu’ils soient intéressés aux bénéfices de l’entreprise. Nous avons régressé sur ce plan, puisque c’est la finance qui dirige tout. Maintenant, la participation est impossible dans un système mondialisé…
Autre conséquence de Mai 68 : l’abandon des valeurs. Vous écrivez : « Si, revenant parmi nous, Montaigne constatait que Johnny Hallyday et Brad Pitt ont remplacé Plutarque, Virgile ou Cicéron, il demanderait à s’exiler chez les Papous… »
Il y a les racines de l’Europe, c’est pour cela que j’ai choisi des auteurs latins, il y a les racines chrétiennes de l’Europe aussi. Je m’appuie beaucoup sur Simone Weil car je pense qu’aucun peuple ne peut vivre sans racines. Cela ne veut pas dire des racines figées, mais des racines en métamorphose. Je voyage dans le monde entier et j’assiste à un retour vers les racines du shintoïsme au Japon. En Inde, il y a un retour vers l’hindouisme et l’amour de leurs propres racines et de leur propre histoire aboutit d’ailleurs à des excès vis-à-vis des musulmans. En Chine, c’est le retour du confucianisme… Face à cette mondialisation, il est indispensable de maintenir les racines et cela ne se fait pas artificiellement. Je veux faire comprendre que chaque être humain, pour se sentir bien avec lui-même et bien dans le monde contemporain, doit rester fidèle à toute une partie de ses racines.
Angesichts des Geständnisses des ehemaligen Präsidenten der Vereinigten Staaten (USA), Donald Trump, während seiner Amtszeit Venezuelas Öl beschlagnahmen zu wollen, betonte der Außenminister der Republik Venezuelas, Yván Gil, dass diese Aussagen von seinen Lakaien in Venezuela unterstützt werde.
Trumps Geständnis geht aus einer Rede an diesem Samstag in North Carolina hervor, in der der ehemalige US-Präsident das Publikum fragte: „Was glauben Sie, dass wir Öl aus Venezuela kaufen? Als ich ging, war Venezuela kurz vor dem Zusammenbruch. Wir hätten es gemacht.“. Wir hätten ihr ganzes Öl genommen. Es wäre direkt nebenan gewesen. Aber jetzt kaufen wir Öl aus Venezuela. Wir machen einen Diktator sehr reich. Sie können es glauben, niemand kann es glauben. Sie wussten, dass ihr Öl Dreck ist. Es ist schrecklich. Was man bekommen kann, ist Teer. Es ist wie Teer. Und um ihn zu verfeinern, braucht man spezielle Pflanzen“, sagte er.
In der Ansprache betont Trump, dass die Regierung der Vereinigten Staaten gezwungen war, Öl aus Venezuela zu kaufen, weil er seine Mission nicht erfüllen konnte.
Ziel: Ressourcen stehlen
Angesichts dieser Aussagen betonte der Aussenminister Venezuelas jetzt in seinem Twitter-Account, dass es immer Trumps Absicht gewesen sei, venezolanisches Öl zu beschlagnahmen.
Er erinnerte an den ganzen Schaden, den die Vereinigten Staaten dem venezolanischen Volk zugefügt haben: „Mit der Unterstützung ihrer Lakaien hier hatten sie ein einziges Ziel: unsere Ressourcen zu stehlen!“ Sie konnten und werden es nicht tun“, fügte er hinzu.
„Trump gesteht, dass es seine Absicht war, venezolanisches Öl zu beschlagnahmen. Der gesamte Schaden, den die Vereinigten Staaten unserem Volk mit der Unterstützung ihrer Lakaien hier zugefügt haben, hatte ein einziges Ziel: unsere Ressourcen zu stehlen! Sie konnten und werden es nicht tun. Wir werden immer gewinnen!“ Dies hatte der venezulanische Aussenminster auf Twitter gepostet.
Außenminister Gil bekräftigte in einer weiteren Nachricht im sozialen Netzwerk: „Trump enthüllt, dass die Strategie der USA in Zusammenarbeit mit Lakaiengruppen aus Venezuela darin bestand, venezolanisches Öl zu beschlagnahmen.“
Maske abnehmen: Schade
Das neue Geständnis von Ex-Präsident Donald Trump habe für Aufsehen gesorgt und führe dazu, dass 60 Satellitenstaaten und alle, die eine von einer Marionette geführte „Regierung“ unterstützten, die Maske abziehen, betonte der Botschafter und ständige Vertreter Venezuelas bei der Organisation der Vereinten Nationen (UN), Samuel Moncada.
„Der einzige Zweck bestand darin, das Öl des venezolanischen Volkes zu plündern. Schade!“
„Trump nimmt die Maske von 60 Satellitenländern ab, von der internationalen Propaganda und von allen Politikern und Intellektuellen, die eine Marionette zur Regierung Venezuelas unterstützt haben.“ Der einzige Zweck bestand darin, dem venezolanischen Volk Öl zu erbeuten. Was für eine Schande!“, sagte Moncada auf Twitter.
Die USA halten an den Sanktionen gegen Venezuela fest
Venezuelas Vizeminister für Nordamerika, Carlos Ron, betonte seinerseits, dass mit diesem neuen Geständnis von Trump keine weiteren Beweise für die US-Politik gegenüber Venezuela erforderlich seien.
Er prangerte auch an, dass „die Biden-Regierung ihre Politik der weiterhin in Kraft befindlichen illegalen Sanktionen“ gegen das Land aufrechterhält.
„Welche zusätzlichen Beweise brauchen wir? Hier gesteht Trump, dass sein Ziel die ganze Zeit darin bestand, Öl aus Venezuela zu beschlagnahmen. Die Biden-Regierung hält an ihrer Politik der illegalen Sanktionen fest. Venezuela hat gesiegt und wird weiterhin triumphieren!, veröffentlichte er auf seinem Twitter-Account.

Der Friedensstifter
