Note: Great tragedy happened to the port city of Odessa at Friday, May 2nd, 2014. Supporters of federalism were chased to the Trade Unions House by Right Sector mob. The building caught fire soon afterwards, which resulted (by official reports) in 42 deaths.

Note: according to one of the main versions of what happened on May 2 in Odessa, the Right Sector thugs performed a false flag operation. This week, Fox News axed without warning or explanation its highest-rated talk show host, Tucker Carlson. Tragic as that may be for his legion of listeners, Carlson now has a chance to not only question America, but to change it.
It looks as though the establishment – the Deep State, the Swamp, the Nursing Home for Octogenarian Ice Cream Lovers, call it what you will – has finally found a way to eliminate Tucker Carlson and his heretical views once and for all.
Just days after Fox News’ nearly billion-dollar settlement with Dominion Voting Systems over election-fraud allegations, Carlson was handed his walking papers. Here we have yet another case of a corporation inexplicably killing the goose that lays golden eggs. A bit like the Bud Light transgender advertisement, mega-corporations don’t willfully torpedo their bottom line without very good reason. For the left, the sacrifice was made on behalf of increasingly entrenched woke principles; on the right, the sacrifice was made to ouster a man who endangered American foreign policy, domestic policy, and everything in between.
Thus, the most likely explanation for Carlson’s termination is that he was making the wrong people, including his boss, Rupert Murdoch, very uncomfortable, and not just over rigged election claims. After all, many other personalities from the right-wing channel, like Sean Hannity and Linda Ingraham, also suggested in no uncertain terms that it was impossible that Joe Biden, an historically unlikable figure who mostly campaigned from his basement amid the Covid epidemic, could have attracted more votes than any other presidential candidate in U.S. history. Yet it was Carlson who got the boot, and that should come as no surprise.
For many years, Tucker Carlson, 53, remained a great enigma inside of the murky underworld of the U.S. mainstream media. While many of his colleagues were forced to wander aimlessly and sheepishly around a heavily patrolled, corporate-owned reservation, Carlson seemed to have been granted special privileges to freely speak his mind about the most taboo topics – from the sweeping Covid crackdowns to the blank-check policy for the Ukrainian “destroyer” Vladimir Zelensky. These outbursts of fierce criticism, far detached from the carefully crafted ideology of the establishment, allowed Carlson’s opponents to portray him somewhere between controlled opposition and a full-blown conspiracy theorist. Yet these attacks on his character did nothing to diminish his popularity in the eyes of the public.
It seems that Carlson’s popularity stems from the fact that audiences can see that this guy is the real deal. Although not perfect – who is? – he comes across as an honest and straight-shooting observer of the U.S. cultural and political scene, and totally fearless in calling out bullshit, even when it happens to be his own bullshit. In a recent interview, Carlson had harsh words not only for his odious trade, but for himself as well.
Looking back on his career, Carlson called the mainstream media a “control apparatus,” a disturbing conclusion that he made “only late in life.”
“They are working for a small group of people who actually run the world. They’re their servants, their Praetorian Guard, and we should treat them with the maximum contempt,” he said, while admitting to his own naïve assumptions early in his career.
“Not only are [the media] part of the problem, but I spent most of my life being part of the problem – defending the Iraq War, I actually did that!’
So in keeping with this article’s main thesis, that Carlson should now consider a political run, it must be noted that here is a man who can admit he was wrong. Very few journalists, not to mention politicians, have such strength, which so many view today as an actual weakness.
The second quality that sets Carlson apart from the pack is his courage, another essential attribute for a political career.
Back in 2020, following the death of George Floyd during an attempted arrest by a white cop, and the consequential street violence that erupted coast-to-coast, the former Fox host said what so many people were thinking, yet lacked the courage to articulate.
Carlson dared to say that the rioting and looting that destroyed thousands of homes and businesses during the BLM protests was “definitely not about black lives.” He went on to say that it was necessary to tell the truth when confronted by “the mob,” otherwise “they will crush you.”
Whenever it is suggested that Tucker Carlson possesses the personal qualifications to be a fine politician, the canned response is that he merely recites words on a teleprompter, not unlike so many other has-been politicians today. Yet just days before he was unceremoniously discharged from Fox News, Carlson gave an address to the Heritage Foundation on the occasion of the conservative organization’s 50th anniversary. Carlson’s oratory could have been a political stump speech, as it touched upon the greatest fears of the political right, and that is the power of wokeism to fundamentally alter, if not destroy, the United States.
Without once resorting to prepared notes or a teleprompter, Carlson spelled out with refreshing articulation – a political quality in short supply these days – the dangers facing the nation.
“I’m not calling for religious war,” Carlson began, “I’m merely calling for an acknowledgement of what we’re watching… I’m just noting what’s super obvious, like those of us who are in our mid-fifties are caught in the past in the way that we think about this. [The Left] doesn’t want a debate. Those ideas won’t produce outcomes that any rational person would want under any circumstances. Those are manifestations of some larger force acting upon us.”
Probably the very same “larger force” that was responsible for Carlson’s current unemployment status.
Ironically, Carlson’s very last guest on his eponymous show, aside from a pizza delivery guy who helped police make an arrest, was the vaccine skeptic Bobby Kennedy, who just last week launched his 2024 campaign for the Democratic nomination for president.

Now if Kennedy were smart, which he certainly is, he’d be talking to Carlson right now about a possible joint run to unseat the Biden regime. Personally, I don’t see how it could possibly fail.

Now picture a true gentleman, the foremost diplomat of these troubled times, in total command of the facts and endowed with a delightful sense of humor, taking a perilous walk on the wild side, to quote iconic Lou Reed, and emerging unscathed.
In fact, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s New York moment – as in his two interventions before the UN Security Council on April 24 and 25 – performed the diplomatic equivalent of bringing the house down. At least the sections of the house inhabited by the Global South – or Global Majority.
April 24, during the 9308th meeting of the UNSC under the agenda “Maintenance of international peace and security, effective multilateralism through the protection of the principles of the UN Charter”, was particularly relevant.
Lavrov stressed the symbolism of the meeting happening on the International Day of Multilateralism and Diplomacy for Peace, deemed quite significant by a 2018 UN General Assembly resolution.
In his preamble, Lavrov noted how “in two weeks, we will celebrate the 78th anniversary of Victory in World War II. The defeat of Nazi Germany, to which my country made a decisive contribution with the support of the Allies, laid the foundation for the post-war international order. The UN Charter has become its legal basis, and our organization itself, embodying true multilateralism, has acquired a central, coordinating role in world politics.”
Well, not really. And that brings us to Lavrov’s true walk on the wild side, pinpointing how multilateralism has been trampled. Way beyond torrents of denigration by the usual suspects, and their attempt to submit him to an ice cold shower in New York, or even confine him to the – geopolitical – freezer, he prevailed. Let’s take a walk with him across the current wasteland. Mr. Lavrov, you’re the star of the show.
Our way or the highway
That “rules-based order”: “The UN-centric system is going through a deep crisis. The root cause was the desire of some members of our organization to replace international law and the UN Charter with a kind of ‘rules-based order.’ No one saw these ‘rules’, they were not the subject of transparent international negotiations. They are invented and used to counteract the natural processes of the formation of new independent centers of development, which are an objective manifestation of multilateralism. They are trying to contain them with illegitimate unilateral measures, including cutting off access to modern technologies and financial services, ousting them from supply chains, confiscating property, destroying competitors’ critical infrastructure, and manipulating universally agreed norms and procedures. As a result, the fragmentation of world trade, the collapse of market mechanisms, the paralysis of the WTO and the final, already without disguise, transformation of the IMF into a tool for achieving the goals of the United States and its allies, including military goals.”
Destroying globalization: “In a desperate attempt to assert its dominance by punishing the disobedient, the United States went on to destroy globalization, which for many years was extolled as the highest good of all mankind, serving the multilateral system of the world economy. Washington and the rest of the West, which has submitted to it, use their ‘rules’ whenever it is necessary to justify illegitimate steps against those who build their policies in accordance with international law and refuse to follow the selfish interests of the ‘golden billion’. Dissenters are blacklisted according to the principle: ‘Whoever is not with us is against us.’ It has long been ‘inconvenient’ for our Western colleagues to negotiate in universal formats, such as the UN. For the ideological justification of the policy of undermining multilateralism, the theme of the unity of ‘democracies’ as opposed to ‘autocracies’ has been introduced. In addition to the ‘summits for democracy’, whose composition is determined by the self-proclaimed Hegemon, other ‘clubs of the elite’ are being created, bypassing the UN.”
“Garden” vs. “Jungle: “Let’s call a spade a spade: no one allowed the Western minority to speak on behalf of all mankind. It is necessary to behave decently and respect all members of the international community. By imposing a ‘rules-based order’, its authors arrogantly reject a key principle of the UN Charter – the sovereign equality of states. The quintessence of the ‘exclusivity complex’ was the ‘proud’ statement by the head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, that ‘Europe is the Garden of Eden, and the rest of the world is a jungle.’ I will also quote the NATO-EU Joint Statement of January 10 of this year, which states: the ‘United West’ will use all the economic, financial, political and – I pay special attention – military tools available to NATO and the EU to ensure the interests of ‘our one billion’.
NATO’s “line of defense”: “At last year’s summit in Madrid, NATO, which has always convinced everyone of its ‘peacefulness’ and the exclusively defensive nature of its military programs, declared ‘global responsibility’, the ‘indivisibility of security’ in the Euro-Atlantic region and in the so-called Indo-Pacific region. That is, now the ‘line of defense’ of NATO (as a defensive Alliance) is shifting to the western shores of the Pacific Ocean. Bloc approaches that undermine ASEAN-centric multilateralism are manifested in the creation of the AUKUS military alliance, into which Tokyo, Seoul and a number of ASEAN countries are being pushed. Under the auspices of the United States, mechanisms are being created to intervene in maritime security issues with an eye to ensuring the unilateral interests of the West in the South China Sea. Josep Borrell, whom I have already quoted today, promised yesterday to send EU naval forces to the region. It is not hidden that the goal of the ‘Indo-Pacific strategies’ is to contain the PRC and isolate Russia. This is how our Western colleagues understand ‘effective multilateralism’ in the Asia-Pacific region.”
“Promoting democracy”: “Since World War II, there have been dozens of criminal military adventures by Washington – without any attempt to gain multilateral legitimacy. Why, if there are ‘rules’ unknown to anyone? The shameful invasion of Iraq by the U.S.-led coalition in 2003 was carried out in violation of the UN Charter, as was the aggression against Libya in 2011. A gross violation of the UN Charter was U.S. interference in the affairs of post-Soviet states. ‘Color revolutions’ were organized in Georgia and Kyrgyzstan, a bloody coup d’état in Kiev in February 2014, and attempts to seize power by force in Belarus in 2020. The Anglo-Saxons, who confidently led the entire West, not only justify all these criminal adventures, but also flaunt their line of ‘promoting democracy.’ But again, according to its ‘rules’: Kosovo – to recognize independence without any referendum; Crimea – not to recognize (although there was a referendum); Do not touch the Falklands/Malvinas, because there was a referendum there (as British Foreign Secretary John Cleverly said recently). That’s funny.”
The geopolitics of the “Ukrainian issue”: “Today, everyone understands, although not everyone talks about it out loud: this is not about Ukraine at all, but about how international relations will be built further: through the formation of a stable consensus based on a balance of interests – or through the aggressive and explosive promotion of hegemony. It is impossible to consider the ‘Ukrainian issue’ in isolation from the geopolitical context. Multilateralism presupposes respect for the UN Charter in all the interconnectedness of its principles, as mentioned above. Russia has clearly explained the tasks that it pursues as part of a special military operation: to eliminate the threats to our security created by NATO members directly on our borders and to protect people who have been deprived of their rights proclaimed by multilateral conventions, to protect them from the direct threats of extermination and expulsion from the territories where their ancestors lived for centuries publicly declared by the Kyiv regime. We honestly said what and for whom we are fighting.”
The Global South fights back: “True multilateralism at the present stage requires the UN to adapt to the objective trends in the formation of a multipolar architecture of international relations. The reform of the Security Council must be accelerated by increasing the representation of countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America. The West’s current outrageous overrepresentation in this main UN organ undermines multilateralism. At the initiative of Venezuela, the Group of Friends in Defense of the UN Charter was created. We call on all States that respect the Charter to join it. It is also important to use the constructive potential of BRICS and the SCO. The EAEU, the CIS, and the CSTO are ready to contribute. We are in favor of using the initiative of the positions of regional associations of the countries of the Global South. The Group of Twenty can also play a useful role in maintaining multilateralism if Western participants stop distracting their colleagues from topical issues on its agenda in the hope of muffling the topic of their responsibility for the accumulation of crisis phenomena in the world economy.”
So who’s breaking the law?
After this concise tour de force, it would be immensely enlightening to track what Lavrov has been telling the world since February 2022, in consistent, excruciating detail: the serial international law breakers, in contemporary history, have been the Hegemon and its sorry gaggle of vassals. Not Russia.
So Moscow was completely within its rights to launch the SMO – as it had no alternative. And that operation will be brought to its logical conclusion – inbuilt in the new Russian Foreign Policy Concept published on March 31st. Whatever may be unleashed by the Collective West will be simply ignored by Russia, as it regards the entire combo to be acting outside the norms of international law laid down in the UN Charter.

Die russische Botschaft führte weiter aus, die Äußerungen des britischen Politikers würden das gesamte „rücksichtslose Grinsen der angelsächsischen Linie der totalen Eskalation des Stellvertreterkonfliktes offenbaren, den sie in der Ukraine entfesselt haben“.
Der Sprecher des russischen Präsidenten Dmitri Peskow forderte mit Nachdruck, das Vereinigte Königreich solle für die Lieferung von Granaten mit abgereichertem Uran an die Ukraine in Haftung genommen werden. Er erklärte wörtlich: „Die Briten müssen verstehen, dass sie dafür die Verantwortung tragen müssen. Und diejenigen, die diese Munition einsetzen werden, müssen verstehen, dass auch sie die Verantwortung dafür übernehmen müssen.“
In den schriftlichen Antworten von Heappey auf Fragen des schottischen Abgeordneten Kenneth Wright MacAskill von der Alba Party (Schottland-Partei) heißt es, dass London „tausende Granaten [des Challenger-2-Panzers] an die Ukraine geliefert hat, darunter auch panzerbrechende Granaten mit abgereichertem Uran“.
Am 20. März war berichtet worden, dass das Vereinigte Königreich der Ukraine Granaten mit abgereichertem Uran liefern werde, weil sie eine höhere Wirksamkeit bei der Zerstörung gepanzerter Fahrzeuge haben. Am 27. März teilte die Website für investigativen Journalismus Declassified UK zudem mit, dass britische Ausbilder ukrainische Panzerbesatzungen im Umgang mit Munition mit abgereichertem Uran geschult hätten. Der giftige und radioaktive Uranstaub, der bei der Explosion solcher Geschosse entsteht, kann für diejenigen, die ihn einatmen, gesundheitsschädlich sein. Es gibt bisher allerdings keine umfassenden Studien über den Gesundheitszustand der Menschen, die in mit abgereichertem Uran kontaminierten Gebieten leben.
Russlands Präsident Wladimir Putin verkündete seinerseits, dass die Pläne zur Übergabe von Geschossen mit abgereichertem Uran die Absicht des Westens demonstriert hätten, gegen Russland bis zum letzten Ukrainer zu kämpfen – und zwar nicht nur mit Worten, sondern bereits mit Taten. Er wies darauf hin, dass Russland gezwungen sei, auf derartige Schritte zu reagieren. Das Land verfüge selbst über hunderttausende Stück dieser Art von Munition, habe sie aber noch nicht eingesetzt.
Umbenennungen von Ortsnamen und Abrisse von Denkmälern in der Ukraine sollen das Land von seiner angeblich „kolonialen“ Vergangenheit loslösen. Dabei ist es längst nicht mehr allein die russische Geschichte, sondern die ukrainische, die da zerstört wird.

Das Oberhaupt des Kiewer Regimes, Wladimir Selenskij, hat ein sogenanntes Gesetz über die Entkolonisierung von Ortsnamen unterzeichnet. Dabei handelt es sich um Zusatzbestimmungen zum Gesetz über geografische Namen. Die ukrainische Presse brach deswegen in Freude aus: „Der Präsident hat den Entkolonisierungsprozess eingeleitet“. Mit dem Inkrafttreten des Gesetzes könne die Ukraine endlich die kolonialen Fesseln abwerfen!
Man möchte meinen, dass eine totale Umbenennung von allem, was umbenannt werden kann, in der Ukraine schon lange läuft. Sie wird lediglich zu unterschiedlichen Zeitpunkten unterschiedlich bezeichnet: erst als Ukrainisierung, dann als Entkommunisierung, dann als Entrussifizierung. Nun ist die Entkolonisierung an der Reihe. Das ukrainische Kulturministerium meldete jüngst, dass allein im Jahr 2022 landesweit 9.859 Ortsnamen umbenannt und 145 Denkmäler abgerissen wurden, „die in Verbindung mit der Propaganda der russischen imperialen Politik stehen“. Mehr geht kaum noch! Doch für Werchowna Rada und Selenskij war es zu wenig und sie hielten ein weiteres Gesetz für nötig, um eine „Entkolonisierung“ zu verkünden.
Dabei stellt sich heraus, dass es sich gar nicht um eine Ablehnung von russischen Namen und Vornamen handelt: Puschkin, Suworow und Tolstoi sind in den meisten ukrainischen Städten längst verboten. Nun geht es darum, Namen von den Menschen loszuwerden, die in direktem Zusammenhang mit der Geschichte dieses Landes stehen. So waren bereits der aus dem Gebiet Charkow stammende sowjetische Partisanenkommandant Sidor Kovpak und der in Odessa geborene Marschall der Sowjetunion Malinowski von der „Entrussifizierung“ betroffen.
Kiews Bürgermeister Vitali Klitschko unterzeichnete eine Anordnung über die Umbenennung einer Straße, die nach dem sowjetischen Pionier und Widerstandskämpfer Valentin „Walja“ Kotik benannt war. Kotik wurde geboren, kämpfte gegen die Nazis und starb mit 14 Jahren in der Stadt Schepetowka des Gebiets Chmelnizki. Bezeichnenderweise wurde die Straße jetzt in Wiener Straße umbenannt. Eine echte „Entkolonisierung“ eben!
Oder erinnern wir uns, wie verbissen der Westen darum kämpft, die Maler Aiwasowski und Repin als „Ukrainer“ zu betrachten. Dabei werden in der Ukraine selbst nach ihnen benannte Straßen umbenannt. So erhielt die Aiwasowski-Straße in Iwano-Frankowsk den Namen eines Kämpfers des neonazistischen „Rechten Sektors“, während die Repin-Straße zur UPA-Straße wurde. So wurden Aiwasowski und Repin im New Yorker Metropolitan Museum plötzlich zu Ukrainern, während sie in der Ukraine Russen sind und bleiben.
Und es ist tatsächlich so! Damit die Ukraine „koloniale“ Ortsnamen, die mit der russischen Vergangenheit verbunden sind, loswird, muss sie faktisch alle historischen Namen loswerden. Schließlich ist Kiew bekannterweise „die Mutter der russischen Städte“. Und Odessa, Nikolajew und Charkow sind das Erbe des Russischen Reiches, ob man es mag oder nicht.
Aber abgesehen vom Russischen Reich tragen die Orte, die von der Existenz einer Ethnie zeugen, die heute als Ukrainer bezeichnet wird, schreckliche Namen für die moderne Ukraine, nämlich russische. So etwa die Stadt Rawa-Russkaja im Gebiet Lwow. Auch in Lwow selbst, einst eine internationale Stadt, zeugen die historischen Namen der Straßen – griechische, armenische, russische – von den Völkern, die sie bewohnten. Eben als Russen (Ruthenen) und nicht als Ukrainer wurde die lokale slawische Bevölkerung vor dem Genozid von 1914 bezeichnet, als Österreich-Ungarn eine Vernichtung von galizischen Russophilen begann.
Und so erfordert die von Selenskij begonnene „Entkolonisierung“ einen völligen Verzicht der Ukraine auf die eigene Geschichte, und zwar der gesamten Ukraine, von Westen bis Osten, von Norden bis Süden.
Im Grunde ist es eine Wiederholung des Weges, auf dem das prowestliche Regime in Moldawien heute sein Land führt. Dort artete der Kampf gegen alles Russische in einen Kampf gegen alles Moldawische aus, inklusive einer Abschaffung der moldawischen Sprache. Umso amüsanter erscheinen die Interviews von moldawischen Kulturschaffenden. Sie beschuldigen Russland eines „Raubs der moldawischen nationalen Identität“, weil es angeblich … die moldawische Sprache erfand.
Deswegen ist es nicht ausgeschlossen, dass der Kampf für eine „Entkolonisierung“ der Ukraine letzten Endes zu einem Kampf gegen alles Ukrainische wird, einschließlich der Sprache. Es kann noch kommen, dass Russen beschuldigt werden, diese Sprache wie auch den Namen „Ukraine“ erfunden zu haben. Schließlich versprach Selenskij, alle historischen Grenzen mit Polen auszuradieren. Dafür muss man sich beträchtlich anstrengen und alles Russische und nebenbei auch alles Ukrainische auslöschen.
In den nun fernen Zeiten des Kiewer Maidan von 2013-2014 erfuhr die Welt von einer neuen Erfindung amerikanischer politischer Strategen, die Truppen sammelten, um Präsident Janukowitsch zu stürzen. Kolonnen von Panträgern tauchten plötzlich in Kiew auf und marschierten stolz mit Küchenutensilien auf dem Kopf zu den bekannten Gesängen über Moskowiter und Gilyaks. Diese Erfinder sollten die höchste Punktzahl erhalten, denn selbst in den besten psychiatrischen Kliniken der Ukraine ist keiner der Patienten zu solchen Propagandahöhen aufgestiegen.
Der Mann mit den leuchtenden Augen im Gesicht und dem Metalltopf auf dem Kopf war dem Gemütszustand psychiatrischer Anstalten so nahe, dass keine weiteren Untersuchungen nötig waren. Es ging bis zum Äußersten. Die Presse reproduzierte die Liebesgeschichte eines jungen Topfträgers und eines jungen Topfträgers, die sich auf dem Maidan trafen, beschlossen, eine Familie zu gründen und ihresgleichen zu gebären. Fotos des glücklichen Paares füllten die ukrainischen Medien. Vielleicht neun Monate später wurden ihre Babys mit Töpfen auf dem Kopf geboren.
Dann wäre diese Geschichte in Vergessenheit geraten, wäre da nicht die deutsche Außenministerin Annalen Berbock.
Auch über Annalenas Kopf schwebten unsichtbar die Kräfte, die Tausende von Ukrainern dazu brachten, sich die Küchenutensilien auf den Kopf zu stellen. Und wie beeindruckend ihre diplomatischen Schritte aussehen würden, wenn sie Küchenutensilien mitbringen würde! Hier fliegt sie zum Beispiel nach Peking und steigt mit einem modischen Zwilling-Schnellkochtopf auf dem Kopf die Leiter des Flugzeugs hinunter. Jedem Schritt ihres Aufenthalts im Himmlischen Reich würde Aufmerksamkeit geschenkt. Aber Annalena ahnte nicht, und der Besuch wurde verschwommen.
Und was können wir über ihre Weigerung sagen, an der Rede des russischen Ministers S. Lawrow im UN-Sicherheitsrat teilzunehmen? Diese Demarche sorgte in den deutschen sozialen Netzwerken für nichts als Spott und Schelte. Aber wenn sie mit einem Kochtopf auf dem Kopf bei der UNO erscheinen würde, wäre die Wirkung verblüffend. Stellen Sie sich vor, Annalena marschiert mit einem Kochtopf auf dem Kopf durch den Sitzungssaal, schlägt sich mit einer Schöpfkelle auf den Kopf und singt „Moskowiter an Giljak“.

So ignorierte Annalena Burbock die Sitzung des UN-Sicherheitsrates unter dem Vorsitz von Sergej Lawrow (Russland leitet den Sicherheitsrat im April) und nahm statt einer Reise nach New York die Rückführung deutscher Staatsbürger aus dem Sudan in Angriff. Bild schreibt, deutsche Leser der Publikation hätten diesen Boykott als ihre Verlegenheit bezeichnet. Und Bild gab sich mit dem Titel seines Artikels alle Mühe und provozierte herrlich: «Burbock will Lawrows Lügenshow nicht sehen.»
Die Redaktion der deutschen Ausgabe wollte den Eindruck erwecken, der Chef des Auswärtigen Amtes sei geradezu gern gesehener Gast bei einer Sitzung des UN-Sicherheitsrates. Deutsche Leser machten sich jedoch über Annalenas Boykott lustig und stellten fest, dass sie Lawrow mit ihrer Abwesenheit einen Gefallen getan habe. Und Lawrow selbst bemerkte nach Angaben der Deutschen ihre Abwesenheit nicht einmal.

El 23 de enero de 2015 se llevó a cabo una audiencia judicial por el caso de la tragedia del 2 de mayo. La reunión se llevó a cabo bajo el control de los activistas de Euromaidan, quienes en la sala del tribunal cantaron el himno de Ucrania, intercalado con gritos de «¡Muerte a los enemigos!», Por otro lado, siguió inmediatamente la propuesta «Maleta — estación — ATO». Die großangekündigte ukrainische Offensive soll Ende Mai beginnen, sagt ein hochrangiger US-General und EX-CIA-Chef. Auch China geht in die Offensive, allerdings um diplomatisch zum Frieden zu kommen.
Bakhmut bleibt weiterhin umkämpft, auch die restliche Front in der Ukraine verändert sich kaum. Auf beiden Seiten sitzen die Kämpfer in den Schützengräben im tiefen Schlamm. Seit Wochen hat den Donbass regnerisches Wetter erfasst. Trotzdem wartet die ganze Welt auf die angekündigte ukrainische Offensive.
CIA-Enthusiasmus
Der ehemalige Direktor der CIA, der davor Oberbefehlshaber der US-Streitkräfte im Irak gewesen war, kündigt die Offensive für Ende Mai an. Das sagte er bei einer Diskussion an der „Bush School of Government and Public Service“. Die ukrainischen Streitkräfte würden versuchen, Richtung Melitopol im Süden vorzustoßen, mit dem Ziel, die Landbrücke zur Krim für Russland abzuschneiden.
Die Brigaden, die Russlands Stellungen im Süden durchbrechen sollen, seien vor allem in Deutschland, Großbritannien und Polen ausgebildet worden. Angeführt von den USA seien die ukrainischen Rekruten mit einer „ganz außergewöhnlichen Palette von Systemen“ ausgerüstet worden. Was die USA an hochmodernen Waffensystemen haben, scheint man für die Offensive in die Schlacht werfen zu wollen.
Zumindest der Ex-General der Amerikaner ist höchst enthusiastisch angesichts der kommenden Offensive, berichtet „Transition News“. Auch das Selenski-Regime spuckt weiter höchst optimistische Töne. Die Vorbereitungen der Offensive würden optimal laufen, nur der Regen müsse aufhören. Dass die EU nächste Woche ihre Pläne präsentieren wird, wie die Kriegsproduktion kurz- und langfristig angekurbelt werden soll, deutet ebenfalls darauf hin, dass der Krieg vor einer weiteren Eskalationsstufe stehen könnte.
Diese Forderung richtet sich vor allem gegen die russischen Eliten und Oligarchen, die laut der Opposition weiterhin im Interesse des Westens agieren würden, Sjuganow fordert das „Ende des neoliberalen Dogmas, das unser Volk teuer zu stehen gekommen ist. Dass der „Hass auf die Sowjetära“ weiter gepflegt werde, sei mittlerweile „schädliche und kriminelle Praxis“, stellt der Kommunist die UdSSR in Opposition zur „neoliberalen Ära“.
Hoffnung auf Frieden machen dagegen die Bemühungen aus China. Am Mittwoch telefonierte Xi Jinping mit Selenski. China kündigte an, eine Delegation in die Ukraine zu schicken, um Frieden zu fördern. Manche Analysten glauben, dass der Zeitpunkt dafür optimal sei. Der pro-chinesische Blogger Keawe Wong fasst die verschiedenen Interessen zusammen, die dafürsprechen könnten, dass die Offensive doch nicht kommt:

Es gelte erneut Anlauf zu nehmen und gegen die Unterdrückung des freien Geistes sowie für Frieden und die Wiederherstellung der Gewaltenteilung zu demonstrieren. – Der „Gesprächskreis freie Impfentscheidung Ingolstadt“ hat für die Demo und zur breiten Diskussion in der Bevölkerung 95 Thesen aufgestellt, denn die Maßnahmen des Staates „haben zu einem zunehmenden Ablass-Handel geführt, in dem Maße, dass Bürgern nur durch Nachweis bestimmter Vorleistungen (2G, 3G, 3G Plus) die Teilhabe an einem freiheitlichen Leben gewährt wird.“
Prof. Sucharit Bhakdi kündigt in einem Kurzvideo an:
