The secret contract — which The New York Times is disclosing for the first time — violates the Biden administration’s public policy, and still appears to be active. The contract, reviewed by The Times, stated that the “United States government” would be the ultimate user of the tool, although it is unclear which government agency authorized the deal and might be using the spyware. It specifically allowed the government to test, evaluate, and even deploy the spyware against targets of its choice in Mexico.

The secret November 2021 contract used the same American company — designated as “Cleopatra Holdings” but actually a small New Jersey-based government contractor called Riva Networks — that the F.B.I. used two years earlier to purchase Pegasus. Riva’s chief executive used a fake name in signing the 2021 contract and at least one contract Riva executed on behalf of the F.B.I.
…
The deal unfolded as the European private equity fund that owns NSO pursued a plan to get U.S. government business by establishing a holding company, Gideon Cyber Systems. The private equity fund’s ultimate goal was to find an American buyer for the company.

The backbone and principal resource of every country is the male heterosexual population. Without them there is no country, no births to take the place of deaths. Men have the temperament and strength to fight and to lead. They protect women and children, property, borders. They lead families, communities, businesses, and governments. That has always been their role throughout history. When men become effete, the society collapses. In America this indispensable resource is being destroyed.
It begins with boys, which means they never become men. I remember when boys were trained for leadership. They received more discipline and were given more independence than girls, who were trained for nurture and motherhood. The roles of the sexes were as distinct as the sexes. There was no such thing as a girl who wanted to be a boy or a boy who wanted to be a girl. Transgenderism is an invention of a sick and dying society.
Everything related to becoming a man has been banned. School playground fights, today an excuse to call police and arrest children, were part of growing up. Sports were where you developed confidence as you learned to catch a high fly, field a grounder, throw a strike, hit a single or a home run. Boys were encouraged. They had their own space, sandlot teams, Little League, Boy Scouts. They had after school jobs–newspaper routes, bagging groceries, cutting lawns, washing cars. Girls developed cooking skills, sewing skills, artistic skills, chaste demeanor. None of this meant that women were barred from professional lives. They were authors, Registered Nurses, accountants, para-legals, teachers, scientists, scholars.
The destruction of the male began with feminism. The feminists were the first transgender advocates. They insisted on no difference in the role of men and women. It was the feminists’ insistence that the male role was better than the female’s and that women assume male roles and male sexual promiscuity, combined with their attacks on men as misogynists, that destroyed the role of men in society. All of a sudden it was not alright for boys to have their spaces. Boy Scouts had to have girls. Little league teams had to have girls. Think about this for a minute. Parents felt they had to support the girl players. Effusive praise would follow a girl catching a high fly, fielding a grounder, getting a hit. But as these are things the boys were expected to successfully do, they didn’t get the praise, and it went on from there. As “diversity” and “multiculturalism” progressed in America, it was less safe for girls to be as independent from home as boys. The equality on which feminists insisted meant that the independence of boys had to be curtailed. Today American parents who allow their male children the independence my generation had are arrested for child endangerment.
The feminist desire to turn women into men meant a diminution of male leadership roles in society as women entered politics and corporations were pressured to create “gender balance” in executive roles and in academia. Just as white people are sidelined by the accusation that they hold back blacks, men are sidelined by the assertion that they held back women.
Years ago Christina Hoff Sommers addressed the destruction of the male role in family and society. But nothing came of her warning. No lesson was learned. Today behavioral problems of boys, declining academic performance, depression and suicides arising from the loss of their role is falsely explained as girls having better self-control, as boys’ slower development, and attributed to alleged hormonal and neurological causes. No one notices that these blamed causes are new as are the conditions. Neither cause nor conditions were present when boys had leadership roles.
The facts are bald-faced. Normal young white heterosexual males grow up in a non-merit-based society. They witness preferences for females, preferences for blacks, preferences for sexual perverts. What do the normal white men get out of it? The theft of their leadership role and blame for holding back others.
Recently I heard men of the passing generation comparing women of their time with those of today. The adoption of young women of the stripper’s G-string as beach attire, the female use of four-letter words, and so on. They all agreed that the emotional support a wife gave a husband is a thing of the past. They wondered what this means for the marriages of the younger generations. Divorce which once implied failure now has no negative connotation. Are marriages becoming commitment-free? Has marriage become a temporary sexual and economic contract that once a better one is found becomes void?
In my day boys were forbidden to bully girls. Today men are bullied by women. The role of men today is to get out of the way of women and preferred racial minorities. This is not a picture of a society that is succeeding.

WASHINGTON — Classified war documents detailing secret American and NATO plans for building up the Ukrainian military ahead of a planned offensive against Russia were posted this week on social media channels, senior Biden administration officials said.
The Pentagon is investigating who may have been behind the leak of the documents, which appeared on Twitter and on Telegram, a platform with more than half a billion users that is widely available in Russia.
Military analysts said the documents appear to have been modified in certain parts from their original format, overstating American estimates of Ukrainian war dead and understating estimates of Russian troops killed.
The modifications could point to an effort of disinformation by Moscow, the analysts said. But the disclosures in the original documents, which appear as photographs of charts of anticipated weapons deliveries, troop and battalion strengths, and other plans, represents a significant breach of American intelligence in the effort to aid Ukraine.
Biden officials were working to get them deleted but had not, as of Thursday evening, succeeded.
“We are aware of the reports of social media posts and the department is reviewing the matter,” said Sabrina Singh, the deputy press secretary at the Pentagon.
The documents do not provide specific battle plans, like how, when, and where Ukraine intends to launch its offensive, which American officials say is likely coming in the next month or so. And because the documents are five weeks old, they offer a snapshot of time — the American and Ukrainian view, as of March 1, of what Ukrainian troops might need for the campaign.
To the trained eye of a Russian war planner, field general or intelligence analyst, however, the documents no doubt offer many tantalizing clues and insights. The documents mention, for instance, the expenditure rate of HIMARS — American-supplied high mobility artillery rocket systems, which can launch attacks against targets like ammunition dumps, infrastructure and concentrations of troops, from a distance. The Pentagon has not said publicly how fast Ukrainian troops are using the HIMARS munitions; the documents do.
The State of the War
China Under the Spotlight: Beijing’s role in pressing Russia to end the war in Ukraine was expected to be a main topic of discussion during a three-day trip to China by Emmanuel Macron, the president of France, and Ursula von der Leyen, the president of the European Commission.
Zelensky in Poland: On his first official visit to Poland, President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine won strong backing from Polish leaders for his country’s rapid entry into NATO and signed a deal paving the way for the joint production of arms and ammunition.
Drone Warfare: Using aerial drones to spot the enemy and direct artillery fire has become a staple of war for Ukraine and Russia, especially in the fiercely contested city of Bakhmut.
Analysts said on Friday it could be difficult to assess the impact of the documents’ disclosure on the frontline fighting now and in the coming months. Russia’s own recent offensive has struggled to make gains in eastern Ukraine, and Western analysts debate whether the Russian military, after suffering staggering casualties, is capable of mounting another or resisting a Ukrainian attack.
It was unclear how the documents ended up on social media. But pro-Russian government channels have been sharing and circulating the briefing slides, military analysts said.
The analysts warned that documents released by Russian sources could be selectively altered to present the Kremlin’s disinformation.
“Whether these documents are authentic or not, people should take care with anything released by Russian sources,” said Michael Kofman, the director of Russian studies at CNA, a research institute in Arlington, Va.
For example, one of the slides said 16,000 to 17,500 Russian soldiers had been killed while Ukraine had suffered as many as 71,500 troop deaths. The Pentagon and other analysts have estimated that Russia has suffered far more casualties, with closer to 200,000 killed and injured, while Ukraine has had more than 100,000 killed and injured.
Nonetheless, analysts said parts of the documents appeared authentic and would provide Russia with valuable information such as the timetables for the delivery of weapons and troops, Ukrainian troop buildup numbers and other military details.
A document labeled “top secret” offers the “Status of the Conflict as of 1 Mar.” On that day, Ukrainian officials were at an American base in Weisbaden, Germany, for war game sessions, and a day later, Gen. Mark A. Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and Gen. Christopher Cavoli, the supreme allied commander for Europe, visited the sessions.
Another document includes columns that list Ukrainian troop units, equipment and training, with schedules for January through April. The document contains a summary of 12 combat brigades that are being assembled, with nine of them apparently being trained and supplied by the United States and other NATO allies. Of those nine brigades, the documents said that six would be ready by March 31 and the rest by April 30. A Ukrainian brigade has about 4,000 to 5,000 soldiers, analysts said.
The document said that equipment delivery times would impact training and readiness in order to meet the timeline. Total equipment needed for nine brigades, the document said, was more than 250 tanks and more than 350 mechanized vehicles.
That the documents could be posted on a widely dispersed social media channel, and presumably get into the hands of Russian officials, is a big coup for Moscow at a time when Russia had appeared to be trailing the United States in intelligence gathering in Ukraine.
The leak is the first Russian intelligence breakthrough that has been made public since the war began. Throughout the war, the United States has provided Ukraine with information on command posts, ammunition depots and other key nodes in the Russian military lines. Such real-time intelligence has allowed the Ukrainians to target Russian forces, kill senior generals and force ammunition supplies to be moved farther from the Russian front lines, though U.S. officials say Ukraine has played the decisive role in planning and execution of those strikes.
Concerned that sharing their operation plans could also highlight weaknesses and discourage continued American support, the Ukrainians were closely guarding them even as American intelligence was gathering precise details on what the Kremlin was ordering and Russian commanders were planning.
The intelligence sharing between Ukraine and the United States loosened up considerably last fall, and the two countries have been working closely on options for a Ukrainian offensive.
But an intelligence leak of this sort, posted on social media and available around the world, is bound to harm intelligence sharing between Ukraine and the United States.

war is the art of deception.
They will do anything to misinform the enemy.
IMHO, they are still far from Prigogine) «I don’t believe» (c) 🙂
When Prigozhin declared that the front was about to collapse, there was no ammunition, there were a sea of corpses, the Ukrainians were advancing bravely, and they were about to break through the defenses of the Russian Armed Forces in 4 directions — it was much more convincing
Was die russischen taktischen Nuklearwaffen betrifft, steht Europa in Flammen.
A total of 17 railcars derailed, according to a spokesman for CN Rail.
No one was hurt during the crash.
A spokesman for the company did not specify what caused the crash. The Transportation Safety Board of Canada said it would send a team of investigators to investigate the incident.
The train was carrying grain. When the CTV News Edmonton crew arrived on the scene, some grain was seen to have scattered around.
A local resident said with great relief that the accident was not so bad, as he often sees wagons of chemicals passing through the area, and this time no dangerous goods were spilled.
“Trains run frequently, sometimes two at a time, and sometimes five minutes apart. One train can pass, and in five minutes another one will come right behind it.”
«Traffic has increased and the length of trains has also increased, so sometimes you have to wait at the crossing for 35, 40 minutes, waiting for two trains to pass. They are so long,» said Dave Walkden.
Train carrying 390 tons of gravel derails in Brown County, Ohio
April 5, 2023
On Tuesday afternoon, a train carrying 390 tons of gravel derailed near Sardinia. Ten wagons derailed, two of which overturned. No one was injured, and no hazardous materials were spilled.
There were 30 wagons in total.
Corboy Road will be closed through the end of Tuesday and most of Wednesday as emergency crews are at the scene.
in 2023, about 15 high-profile train derailments have already occurred in America. At the same time, hazardous materials were transported in the wagons.
After Russia invaded Ukraine 14 months ago, the subsequent sanctions imposed by the United States and its allies were supposed to bring Russia to heel and demonstrate the U.S.’s economic might. Instead, Russia appears stronger than ever while China, Saudi Arabia and others seek to strengthen ties while leaving the U.S. out in the cold.
Jimmy and Americans’ Comedian Kurt Metzger talk to Professor Richard Wolff about the United States’ declining prospects as the dominant economic force in the world.
Was würde 2014 passieren?
While Kirby says the US mission in Syria is about fighting ISIS, the presence is part of the US effort against the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. The Syrian government opposes the occupation of the eastern portion of Syria, which allows the US to control most of Syria’s oil resources. On top of the occupation, the US maintains crippling economic sanctions on Syria.
US invaded plus occupied Syria illegally, killed civilians and is now stealing Syrian oil. All of it is illegal and constitutes war crimes, but no one is charged, and the news never mentions any of this.
