As the U.S. and its NATO allies prepare for war, questions are being raised about the potential consequences, with some suggesting that politicians may be using it as a way to gain control over the population and advance their globalist agenda.

NATO should stop their Pontius Pilate hand-wringing about sending their upgraded Tiger tanks to Ukraine’s wrecking yards as they are damned whether they throw good tanks after bad, or if they do not. The best NATO can do is to form a line of defense stretching from the brothels of Romania in the south up through Poland’s and onwards to the pimple states of the Baltic and the big mouthed women leaders of Sweden and Finland. Ukraine, like Vietnam and Afghanistan before it, is a lost cause. NATO should end this war by packing its bags, going home and allowing Zelensky’s thugs await their fate on their own.
The Americans can send their Bradleys, the British their Challenger tanks, the French their Leclercs and the Germans their Leopards. Russia will destroy all of them and all crews unfortunate enough to man them. If Hitler’s Tigers could not stop the Russian tide, nor will they.
Though the British can boast to their hearts’ content about their invincible Challengers, those British wunderwaffe weapons will break down and need repair when they reach Ukraine’s killing fields. That is assuming Russia does not send them to Hades before they first see action. Showcasing your wunderwaffe weapons in Ukraine is one thing. Prevailing, as the Wehrmacht discovered, is another.
No plan, the legendary German Field Marshal Helmuth von Moltke declared in his 1871 ‘Ueber Strategy’ On Strategy essay, survives its first contact with the enemy. This will certainly be the case with NATO’s Tigers, which will fare as poorly as the Wehrmacht’s tanks did at Stalingrad and at Kursk, history’s biggest ever tank battle, when von Manstein, von Kluge and some of the Reich’s other great commanders faced Zhukov, Popov and their endless columns of T34s, which were more suited to Ukraine’s terrain than were the Reich’s wunderwaffe tanks, the Challengers, Leopards, Bradleys and Leclercs of their day.
The Germans at Stalingrad, Kursk and Normandy suffered from a number of disadvantages, many of which remain relevant today. First off, Goebbels’ relentless propaganda to hold fast until the tides would magically turn foreshadows today’s 24/7 tripe that tells us that Russia is on its knees and can be finished off with a couple of sharp, NATO directed blows to her vulnerable regions.
MI5’s Kyiv (sic) Independent (sic) leads the field in this regard. To read their tripe, the Russian forces in Ukraine are nothing Estonia or Slovakia could not extirpate in a wet weekend. Russia is just an obese teddy bear, only waiting to have its guts ripped out and its innards hacked from it, as a butcher’s knife would sunder apart a dead pig.
Though most of NATO’s psychotic media would like Russia to be hacked to shreds on the old principle that if it bleeds it leads, that process has accelerated from NATO’s illegal invasion of Iraq, where the West’s journalists were not only embedded with the U.S. military but exulted in their crimes, as well as those of Blackwater and those other privatized firms that were, like James Bond, issued with licences to kill, rape and plunder as the fancy took them. Though NATO’s media and not just the jokers of the Kyiv Independent should be answerable for that, they deserve plenty of company in the dock.
Chief of their co-defendants should be hucksters like the Bush and Blair families, grubby profiteers like Haliburton’s Cheney family and Pinocchios like Merkel and Hollande, whose outright lies over the Minsk Accord has led Ukraine into hell. Until such time as political profiteers like them, and the arms companies they are beholden to, pay in full for their crimes and for their rank stupidity, the children of Ukraine, Syria, Yemen, Libya and Iraq will continue to pay with their lives.
But those American and British generals responsible for killing those children or who armed their Azov and ISIS proxies to kill them should also swing, not only for their own culpability but for their crass stupidity as well. These stupid generals know that, from 1945 to 1989, the Soviet Union’s tank regiments were unstoppable and that is why NATO, with no other viable options, had prepared to fight World War Three in southern Germany and Czechoslovakia with nuclear weapons.
Given the former Soviet Union’s overwhelming superiority in tank warfare, do they really think Gerasimov and his chums have not picked up a few pointers, that they do not have a few tricks regarding ground warfare up their collective sleeves? Or do they think Gerasimov’s forces are, like Gaddafi’s, awash with weapons they haven’t a clue how to use? If so, they best make their peace with God, as they will be meeting Him very soon.
NATO’s hucksters are drunk on their own hubris. Steeped in the blood of the innocents of Yemen, Syria, Iraq and Yemen, they think their crimes that have so far gone unpunished will yield them bigger profits still in Ukraine. But they are mistaken.
Although NATO has successfully muffled its own peace movements, they have done nothing to weaken Russia, which has recovered from its post-Soviet malaise. If we examine Russia’s firepower, as presented here, it is fearsome. In terms of manpower, airpower, land power, naval power, natural resources, financials, logistics and geography, Russia is a world power one should not rashly pick a totally avoidable fight with, especially a fight that plays to all of Russia’s very considerable strengths.
In terms of tanks, self-propelled artillery and mobile rocket projectors, Russia is the world’s pre-eminent power. The Russians are no push over and any and all British, French, German and American tank crews crossing over into Ukraine best watch out. Should they even consider breaching Russia’s borders, they best get themselves a demographic map, which will tell them that only Moscow and St Petersburg have populations larger than 1,500,000, and therefore Russia’s 143,000,000 citizens, spread out throughout their vast and unconquerable homeland, will crush any force stupid enough to invade, just as the clubs, scythes and swords of their forefathers sent Napoleon’s La Grande Armée to their doom.
Though history will most likely have to repeat itself in Ukraine in something much more horrible than mere farce, those who ignore history’s testimonies are doomed to perish. One such voice from beyond the grave is that of Field Marshall Gerd von Rundstedt, cousin of General Heinrici’s, who served for a staggering 53 years in the armies of the German Empire, the Kingdom of Prussia, the Weimar Republic and Nazi Germany and who picked up more than a trick or two along the way. When presented with Hitler’s plans to repel the Normandy invasion, he scoffed that neither Field Marshal von Moltke The Elder nor Field Marshal von Moltke The Younger would ever have forgiven him for such rank stupidity, were he to implement Hitler’s idiotic plans.
When Hitler refused the pleas of both Rommel and von Rundstedt to immediately evacuate Caen, Field Marshall Kietel, Hitler’s toadyish Chief of Staff, asked von Rundstedt “What shall we do?” Von Rundstedt sharply replied “Macht Schluss mit dem Krieg, ihr Idioten!“ end the war you idiots.
Wise words as relevant today as they were on 30 June, 1944 when von Rundstedt uttered them to Hitler and his fellow idiot. But idiots never listen, not to a von Rundstedt, a Rommel or a Schőnbach as there is too much easy money to be had pandering to those who profit from producing the Challengers, the Bradleys, the Leclercs and the Leopards and who will continue to make them and the fathomless grief they cause as long as idiots like Zelensky and British philanderer Boris Johnson, who has been skulking back in Kiev to prep Zelensky his lines, are listened to.

The original word in Serbian that Emir Kusturica is using here has multiple meanings: to go in fighting, struggling, campaigning and there lies Kusturica’s genius in the choice of words among other thing. Do the culture (and) the art make any sense… does Kustendorf make any sense?
Emir Kusturica, the founder and the design creator of Kustendorf Film Festival up on the hills above Mokra Gora, which all day today is being ‘blizzard-swept’, has been years on end frequented by a high number of world renowned creators of cinematography and culture in general, he is thoroughly convinced that anything he does is highly meaningful and he has no intention of giving up on his mission.
“I am absolutely convinced that Culture will triumph. Because if Culture does not triumph, if Art as an integral part of Culture does not triumph, nothing on Earth will survive. The triumph of Art means the triumph of freedom, but freedom is its undeniable part, in the same way the West tends to name ‘the mindset of the Serbs’ and other local peoples. Up there on Mećavnik (1) last week, RT Balkan journalist was talking to Emir Kusturica about the end of history, the end of culture and all the burning issues the great world thinkers contemplate on in this day and age, which can mean the end of civilization as we know it, the end of the world and the end of Everything. ‘The end of ‘something’ should ensue, and perhaps the beginning of something new. When we talk about the fear of Armageddon, we in effect mean the restructuring of the world. But right there are vast expanses of new but very powerful lies before humans.

EK: Is there art which is able to save the world? Dostoyevsky asked himself the same question placing beauty at the pedestal. In this moment when we mention Dostoevsky, we should mention ‘the de-Christianization’ of the [Collective] West. We must not forget that Christianity is not a set of abstract goals, ideas and worldviews but the concreteness of God who embodied himself in a human body which does not provide us with the depiction of our life but He is Life. But a human and his/her life pathway are deep-rooted into its time as a wholeness because Man is not merely its material aspect and neither is it only its spiritual aspect nor its mental aspect either. The belief in the immortality of an artist and his/her great work is parallel to the belief in eternal soul… and what happens if we do not believe in said notions? What are we up against? Nobody will bother to ask us. We shall be transmuted from organic matter into a non-organic matter – Man, and they are already threatening to do so, and what happens if we in our lifetime forget about Death? I will remind you of a tragicomic ending and the greatest revenge, which await us all in the end. The dying process will entail the pattern which we do not want in as much as we do not want ‘the Colosseum’ (3)we are thrown into, with neither our consent nor our will. We are now entering the end stage, when we are returning to the phenomenon of the new Deadman in the New World Order.

Pertinent to this, a blogger Elena Kondratieva wrote ‘Asking mankind to return where they came from, this funeral company, in one go, is in fact opening up a new era in human history and it cuts through the Gordian knot of a philosophical and religious nature. Human kind is being offered ‘ the Return Home’, not in an old fashioned coffin with frills and fanfare but in specially equipped containers in the form of ‘compost’. In so doing they confirm the biblical truth about the origin of the first people on Earth out of clay, dust and a sudden self-awareness.

The United States and its NATO allies are deeply involved in the conflict. The military withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021 – after 20 years of futile occupation – was a calculated “reorganization of firepower” against Russia, says Pepe Escobar.
Ukraine is merely a proxy and ultimately cannon fodder for American imperial planners.

Wie aus einer Antwort der Bundesregierung auf eine Kleine Anfrage meines Kollegen Christian Leye u.a. hervorgeht, hat die Bundesregierung keine Ahnung, woher die großen Mengen an LNG-Gas in Zukunft eigentlich kommen sollen, für die man die teuren LNG-Terminals gebaut hat. “Experten schätzen, dass das weltweite LNG-Angebot erst in drei bis vier Jahren ausreicht, um die gestiegene Nachfrage zu decken. Bis dahin lautet die unausgesprochene Strategie weiterhin: Deutsche Gasimporteure kaufen ärmeren Ländern das knappe Flüssiggas vor der Nase weg – und das zu Mondpreisen. Die in Folge des Wirtschaftskriegs entstandenen Energiepreisprobleme dürften sich also noch über Jahre ziehen,” so Christian Leye, der die Antwort der Bundesregierung zusammengefasst hat .Die Sprachpolizei hat wieder einmal zugeschlagen Diskussionen um eine politisch korrekte Sprache haben nach wie vor Hochkonjunktur. Die Frage, wie sehr ein falsch verwendetes Wort die Gefühle von irgendjemandem verletzt, scheint dabei viele weit mehr zu bewegen, als die Toten und das furchtbare Leid in einem durch Waffenlieferungen sinnlos verlängerten Ukraine-Krieg oder auch die gravierenden sozialen Folgen immer höherer Energie- und Lebensmittelpreise. Ever since the war in Ukraine began, speculation has swirled about a “second front” opening in the Balkans – in particular, Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the country’s internal Republika Srpska at the centre of these concerns. In response, NATO member states have preemptively flooded Sarajevo with troops, and Britain has led the influx.
Oddly, two “experts in counter-disinformation” are part of London’s deployment – they purportedly “work with the Bosnian Armed Forces and NATO to uphold peace and security in the country.” It’s unclear how, although in recent years, British intelligence has used the spectre of battling Russian-borne “disinformation” as a Trojan Horse to further London’s political, military and financial objectives throughout Central and Eastern Europe, in particular the former Yugoslavia, and “weaken the Russian state’s influence.”
Along the way, London has secretly bankrolled and created media outlets to disseminate slick pro-British, pro-NATO, anti-Russian propaganda, and financed ‘fact checkers’ to malign and censor independent journalists and alternative information sources. A remarkably revealing passage in a leaked document related to these efforts acknowledges a key “barrier to combating disinformation” is that “certain Kremlin-backed narratives are factually true.”
Balkan experts strongly caution against the idea Russia would have any desire to start a new conflict in the region, let alone the means, but their entreaties have fallen on deaf ears. Western and domestic media ramp up the threat daily, while elite British military think tank RUSI has branded Bosnia and Herzegovina the inevitable frontline of new fracas between the West and Moscow.
Given London not long ago undertook clandestine efforts on behalf of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s government to terrify its population into submission, and influence their perspectives and behaviour accordingly, it can only be considered deeply concerning that such perceptions are widespread.
‘Agents of Change’
The response of Bosnian authorities to the COVID19 pandemic was stringent, with restrictions imposed following its outbreak among the harshest in Europe by some margin.
There were strict limits on which hours citizens could be outside, with many prohibited from leaving their homes at all under any circumstances, mask-wearing was made obligatory in and outdoors, and more. Countless fines – punitive penalties far exceeding the country’s average monthly pension payment – were issued for non-compliance.
However, most residents of Bosnia and Herzegovina obeyed. Their acquiescence was in part assured by a clandestine British intelligence-orchestrated psychological warfare campaign, which aggressively marketed “COVID-19 prevention measures” to the sceptical public.
In service of this connivance, which has never before been publicly revealed, London enlisted Albany Associates, a veteran British intelligence cutout. Throughout the West’s dirty war in Syria, Albany was part of a constellation of contractors managing psychological warfare projects, designed to destabilise the government of Bashar Assad, convince Syrians and international bodies CIA and MI6-backed jihadist groups were a “moderate” alternative, and flood media the world over with pro-opposition propaganda.
In the process, its staff frequently rubbed shoulders with members of murderous militias, guilty of innumerable human rights abuses. A scathing internal British government review of these operations, not intended for public consumption, judged they were “poorly planned, probably illegal, and cost lives.” There is no indication anyone faced repercussions for these grave failings, or that London’s psychological warfare approaches were reformed in light of the review’s findings.

Albany was also embroiled in lavishly-funded British intelligence initiatives to “weaken the Russian state’s influence.” It achieved this by, among other things, exploiting young Russophones in the Baltic states as “agents of change,” without their knowledge or consent. When deluged with anti-Russian, pro-Western propaganda through an assortment of mediums, it was hoped these youths would unwittingly disseminate this agitprop to their wider families, and duly convert them to the NATO cause.In Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albany was instructed to “assist in developing communication plans to support agreed government approach; identify target audiences and assess through analysis the most appropriate communications approach; establish required messaging and draft proposals for potential campaigns.”
To make Bosnian citizens “understand and maintain compliance” with pandemic restrictions, “several campaigns targeting different audiences (ie business owners, the general public, schools, the most vulnerable)” were envisaged.
“Use messages as basis for public information campaign to maintain compliance with necessary measures. Provide support for government communicators to ensure professional co-ordination of messages,” a leaked document orders. “Craft messages that meet the government’s ambitions and are easily understood and acted on by citizens…Develop and implement informational campaigns to deliver those messages to the public and specific target audiences where necessary.”
This informational assault, conducted in coordination with the World Health Organization, was supported by two local public relations firms – Rent-a-PR, and ZIPR. The former led “coordination with government communicators, message consistency, planning, press conference support, communication grids, general coordination and campaign planning,” while the latter handled slogans, straplines, design and branding for the campaign.
‘Threat Needs to Be Increased’
Albany’s deplorable background raises very serious concerns about its management of any government communications campaign, let alone a public health propaganda blitz. So too should the core foundation of London’s approach to coercing its citizens into complying with pandemic restrictions, which informed Sarajevo’s own.
A February 2020 paper produced by British state behavioural science advisors outlined assorted mechanisms for ensuring the public acted in accordance with lockdown measures. Inducing intense and cohering fear among the general population ranked first out of all considerations.
“A substantial number of people still do not feel sufficiently personally threatened,” the paper advocated. “The perceived level of personal threat needs to be increased [emphasis added] among those who are complacent, using hard-hitting emotional messaging.”
This recommendation was eagerly leaped upon by the British government, with drastic effects. One of the behavioural psychologists responsible for the perverse push has since lamented that “the level of fear willingly conveyed” to British citizens was “the most egregious and far-reaching mistake made in responding to the pandemic” – which is saying something. These malign tactics are now being scrutinised in a wider parliamentary probe into London’s handling of the crisis.
There is no comparable investigation in Bosnia and Herzegovina as yet, although Britain’s hidden assistance during this period would be vital to examine – particularly given it could have enormous relevance to cloak-and-dagger information warfare operations in Sarajevo now.
A leaked file related to London’s covert COVID19 communications effort notes that, “considerable work has been undertaken” in recent years by British intelligence to “strengthen the strategic communications capabilities of government communicators across Bosnia and Herzegovina,” and “the fruits of this work are starting to be seen.” Nonetheless, “more work” in this field was said to be required, in advance of a then-forthcoming project dubbed “BH50”.
It is unknown what BH50 entailed, although it’s reasonable to ask whether the British government’s clandestine control of Sarajevo’s communications has been engaged to inflate other panics in the public mind – such as Russian aggression. If so, this may account for why contemporary polling indicates 60 percent of Bosniaks consider Moscow their country’s biggest overseas “political threat.”
Such anxiety only benefits London – after all, a frightened public is much more amenable to friendly offers of external “help”. The ease with which this state of affairs could be weaponized and exploited is obvious. An unchallenged, permanent British military presence on the streets of Sarajevo, for instance.
Cui bono?
In August 2022, British Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Julian Reilly formally met with Osman Mehmedagic, General Director of Sarajevo’s Intelligence and Security Agency, for the first time. He declared London to be a “longstanding friend” of the country and “all its citizens.”
In reality, far from being a “longstanding friend” of Bosniaks, the British deliberately abandoned Sarajevo at the height of its civil war in the 1990s, despite knowing massacres were impending, as officials in London willed a “painful but realistic restoration of Christian Europe.”

Nonetheless, in response Mehmedagic thanked Britain “for its continuous support…especially in the security sector” – “cooperation” which would be “intensified through several joint projects in the coming period,” due to “current security circumstances in the region.” He added that British security and intelligence services “always have a good and reliable partner” in their Bosnian counterparts.
Clearly, it’s not merely the government’s strategic communications apparatus that has been overrun by a hostile foreign actor. The full dimensions of Britain’s “continuous” assistance to Sarajevo’s spies, police, and soldiers aren’t public, but if these efforts resemble London’s “support” programs to comparable agencies elsewhere, they will amount to grand, insidious connivances to infiltrate and secretly direct Bosnia and Herzegovina’s security and intelligence services at every level, while surreptitiously implanting British personnel and technology at their respective cores.
It may be that stoking fears of Russian invasion is simply a foot-in-the-door ruse, which effectively facilitates London’s penetration of these agencies. Mehmedagic’s reference to “current circumstances in the region” necessitating Britain’s supporting role being “intensified” is a palpable demonstration of how heightened fears of Russian intervention in Bosnia and Herzegovina benefit Perfidious Albion.
Even then, in the Balkan context, such cynical manoeuvring could easily have extremely dangerous ramifications. Since February 24th 2022, an already tense political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina has become ever-further inflamed. Just three months earlier, Bosnian Serb leaders announced Republika Srpska would withdraw from the state’s armed forces, judiciary and tax system, in advance of outright secession.
The move led to London and Washington levelling sanctions against Republika Srpska’s President Milorad Dodik, a longtime ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin. While secession was put on a backburner following the invasion of Ukraine, his refusal to back EU and US sanctions against Russia, maintenance of a neutral stance on the conflict, and active pursuit of deeper economic ties with Moscow, have all further antagonised Western powers.
Bosnia and Herzegovina’s October 2022 general election was highly controversial. Within minutes of polls closing, and before votes had been counted, internationally-appointed High Representative Christian Schmidt, Sarajevo’s highest political authority, changed the country’s electoral system to fudge the results in favour of nationalist parties. The widely unpopular move – coincidentally backed by Britain – ignited mass protests, which in turn prompted renewed calls for secession within Republika Srpska.
Resultantly, Bosnia and Herzegovina could now be en route to breakup. Yet it is British, not Russian, troops who await that fateful day on the frontline in Sarajevo, with bated breath. Which begs the question, who is truly the aggressor here, and who has been stirring up trouble all along?

Ein direktes Kräftemessen zwischen NATO-Waffensystemen und sowjetisch/russischen hat es kaum gegeben. Wenn diese aufeinander trafen, dann spielte sich das in Drittländern ab, zumeist mit örtlichem Personal. Aber selbst dann konnten die Sowjetwaffen den westlichen große Probleme bereiten. Ist diese Erkenntnis maßgeblich für die Weigerung des US-Präsidenten, F16-Jets an die Ukraine zu liefern? Der Georgien-Krieg 2008 hat die Kriegsherren der NATO zutiefst erschreckt. Ich weise in diesem Zusammenhang nochmals darauf hin, dass der Europäische Gerichtshofs nach diesem Krieg festgestellt hat, dass es nicht Russland war, das diesen Krieg angezettelt oder Schuld daran zu tragen hat. Die CIA hatte ihre schmutzigen Finger drin. Georgien hatte damals seit einiger Zeit F16 Kampfflugzeuge aus US-Produktion. Die kamen in diesem Krieg zum Einsatz. Das Ergebnis war, dass russische Kampfpiloten mit russischen Jets die amerikanischen F16 vom Himmel putzten, ohne einen eigenen Verlust. Nun könnte man meinen, die georgischen Piloten wären nicht professionell genug gewesen. Könnte man, wenn ich nicht aus sicherer Quelle wüsste, dass in diesen georgischen F16 auch amerikanische Elitepiloten saßen. Auch die waren nicht in der Lage, die russischen Kampfjets zu besiegen. Nicht einen einzigen.
Die Westmedien schwiegen sich darüber aus, aber in den NATO-Zentralen brannte die Hütte. Es konnte doch nicht sein, dass die hochgelobten NATO-Jets den russischen derart unterlegen sind. Während Russland seine Kampfflugzeuge in den folgenden 15 Jahren weiter entwickelt hat, haben die USA an neuem Gerät fast nur die F35. Die ist aber derart technik-überladen, dass sie ganz offen als Problemfall bezeichnet wird, der über keine zuverlässige Einsetzbarkeit verfügt. Als die sowjetische MiG 29 1990 zur Luftwaffe kam, sagte mir ein Luftwaffenoffizier, der von der Phantom kam, dass er keinen westlichen Kampfjet kenne, der diesem Flugzeug ernsthaft Paroli bieten könnte. Die MiG 29 zählt nach wie vor zu den favorisierten Jets der Länder des ehemaligen Ostblocks. Die MiG 31 ist das schnellste Kampfflugzeug, das sich im Einsatz befindet.
Die überlegenen Flugabwehrsysteme Russlands
Das russische Flugabwehrsystem S 400 ist das leistungsfähigste System, das es aktuell gibt. Kein Angreifer, der in seine Reichweite kommt, kann das überleben. Obwohl das S 400 im Ukraine-Konflikt noch gar nicht zum Einsatz gekommen ist, meldet Russland, dass man bereits mehr als 200 ukrainische Kampfflugzeuge abgeschossen hat. Darunter eben auch die MiG 29. Das liegt nicht etwa daran, dass die ukrainischen Piloten unprofessionell wären, aber Russland kann das einfach besser. Zum Teil auch, weil die russischen Versionen kontinuierlich weiter entwickelt worden sind. Damit bin ich bei einem wesentlichen Vorteil der russischen Flugzeugindustrie gegenüber der westlichen.
Wenn im Westen ein Flugzeug die Zulassung erhalten hat, militärisch oder zivil, dann wird daran nichts mehr verändert. Das liegt daran, dass, je nach Umfang der Veränderung, eine komplette Neuzulassung verlangt wird. Russland hat da eine andere Philosophie. Was spricht dagegen, in ein älteres Modell ein verbessertes Triebwerk einzubauen und den Rest unverändert zu lassen? Muss man da tatsächlich ein komplettes Zulassungsverfahren anordnen? Im Westen schon, in Russland nicht. So kann Russland seine Flugzeuge ohne großen Aufwand modernisieren. Aber die Unterschiede gehen weiter.
Probleme bei der Umschulung
Jeder Flugzeughersteller hat seine eigenen „Philosophie“. Douglas baut anders als Boeing oder Lockheed oder Airbus. Der entscheidende Unterschied zwischen sowjetischen und westlichen Flugzeugen bestand aber im „künstlichen Horizont“. Die liefen genau anders herum. Während die unseren den Horizont immer parallel zum realen darstellen, sah es in den russischen so aus, als ob man sein eigenes Flugzeug von hinten gegenüber dem Horizont sieht. Das heißt, dass die elementaren Reflexe der Piloten beim Blindflug genau gegensätzlich konditioniert waren. Nach 1990, als in Russland auch zivile westliche Flugzeuge Einzug hielten, gab es auch deswegen riesige Probleme. Neben all den anderen, die unterschiedliche technische Ansätze verursachten. Ganz zu schweigen von der Besatzung. Die Sowjetflugzeuge waren im Cockpit zumeist mit vier bis fünf Mann besetzt. Kapitän, Copilot, Ingenieur, Navigator und Funker. Es war für diese ansonsten hervorragenden Piloten eine schwer zu leistende Umstellung, wenn plötzlich nur noch zwei Mann diese Aufgaben bewältigen sollten.
Alle ukrainischen Militärpiloten sind geschult auf und vertraut mit Sowjettechnik mit den Horizonten, die „verkehrt“ herum anzeigen. Jetzt glauben fachfremde Schwachköpfe, sie könnten diese Piloten innerhalb weniger Monate in die Cockpits westlicher Kampfjets setzen. Dabei bin ich noch nicht einmal auf elementare Unterschiede eingegangen, was Technikdesign und deren allgemeine Philosophie betrifft. Sie sollen plötzlich „amerikanisch“ fliegen, auch was Taktik und Manöver betrifft. In der Zivilluftfahrt dauert der Umstieg auf ein anderes Modell etwa drei Monate. Technische Details lernen, Simulator- und Flugtraining. Und das, selbst wenn man nur von einem Boeing-Modell zum anderen wechselt. In derselben Zeit soll sich also ein Ukrainer umstellen, von Sowjettechnik auf die F 16? Werden also NATO-Piloten die F 16 in der Ukraine fliegen müssen? Aber es wird noch prekärer.
Urreflexe sind schwer zu überwinden
Allgemein gilt, nicht nur für Piloten, dass man in Stresssituationen zurückfällt auf die Verhaltensmuster, die man als erstes gelernt hat. Je größer der Stress, desto weiter greift man auf rudimentär gelerntes zurück. Piloten von Kampfflugzeugen sind im Einsatz höchsten Stressmomenten ausgesetzt. Was geschieht dann mit dem Pilot, wenn auch noch der Horizont verkehrt herum anzeigt? Fatale Fehler sind da geradezu programmiert. Selbst noch nach Jahren auf dem neuen Gerät. Da können einem die ukrainischen Umschüler fast leid tun. Sie sollen sich mit einem neuen Gerät mit fremder Technik erfahrenen russischen Piloten stellen, deren Reflexe nicht gestört sind. Da können sie sich gleich die Kugel geben.
Diese Problematik trifft auch auf westliche Panzer zu, wenn auch nicht so krass. Aber was können diese wirklich? Man weiß es kaum. Leopard-Panzer sind noch nie im Kriegszustand gegen russische angetreten. In Syrien hat sich allerdings gezeigt, dass selbst kaum militärisch ausgebildete Kämpfer die deutschen Leos abschießen konnten, mit billigen Panzerfäusten. Der Leo ist also keineswegs die unzerstörbare Festung auf Raupen. Was wird also mit den Leos geschehen, wenn sie auf hochqualifizierte Technik Russlands treffen? Man weiß es nicht, weil es noch nie ausprobiert worden ist. Soviel zu den Panzerlieferungen, die angesichts der Stückzahlen sowieso nur als lächerliches Feigenblatt bezeichnet werden können. Sie werden keinen entscheidenden Einfluss auf das Geschehen in der Ukraine haben.
Georgien als Muster für die Ukraine?
Blicken wir nochmals auf den Georgien-Krieg vor 15 Jahren. Man kann Parallelen zum jetzigen Ukraine-Konflikt erkennen. Die USA haben Georgien aktiv unterstützt, auch mit Ausbildung, Mannschaftstransporten und Material. Außer dass unnötig viele Menschen den Tod gefunden haben, war das nicht zielführend. Entscheidend ist aber, dass sich die georgisch-amerikanischen F16 nicht einmal als ebenbürtig gegenüber den russischen Kampfflugzeugen beweisen konnten, obwohl Georgien diese schon seit etwa fünf Jahren hatte. Alle anderen Kampfflugzeuge der NATO-Armeen sind noch nie im direkten Schlagabtausch mit russischen getestet worden. Sollten diese also jetzt tatsächlich an die Ukraine übergeben werden, mit all den beschriebenen Problemen, auch bezüglich Wartung und Reparatur, laufen die westlichen Spitzenprodukte Gefahr, ihres Nimbus verlustig zu gehen. Ebenso wie die Panzer. Die deutsche Panzerhaubitze 2000 hat sich schon als unzuverlässig und reparaturanfällig disqualifiziert.
Die Erfahrungen im Syrien-Krieg haben noch etwas anderes gezeigt. Zum Beispiel benötigen die deutschen Tornado-Jets pro Flugstunde etwa acht Stunden Wartung. Sie können folglich gerade mal zwei Einsätze pro Tag absolvieren. Die russischen Jets hingegen konnten fast wie zivile Linienflugzeuge operiert werden. Sie flogen fünf bis sechs Einsätze pro Tag. Landen, auftanken, Waffen laden und schon ging es wieder los. Dieser Umstand lässt alle Zahlenspiele über die Anzahl von Kampfflugzeugen Makulatur werden. Wieviele der westlichen Waffen sind aktuell überhaupt einsatzfähig?
Mehr Abschreckung als praktischer Nutzen
Die NATO wird den Krieg in der Ukraine verlieren. Jeder bei Verstand weiß das. Mit der Lieferung von Panzern und dann möglicherweise Flugzeugen wird aber noch etwas wesentlich schlimmeres zutage kommen. Die NATO-Waffensysteme sind eher Schaufenstersysteme. Sie wirken abschreckend, solange sie nicht entmystifiziert worden sind. Und das werden sie sein, sobald sie in der Ukraine angekommen sind. So kann man die Entscheidung von US-Präsident Biden, keine F16 zu liefern, eher nicht als kluge Zurückhaltung bezeichnen, sondern vielmehr als den Versuch zu verhindern, dass offensichtlich wird, dass diese hochgelobten Produkte nur dazu taugen, wehrlose Staaten zu überfallen.
Der Ukraine-Konflikt dient dem Westen zur Erprobung, was seine Waffensysteme wirklich taugen – auf Kosten zahlloser ukrainischer und russischer Leben. Aber sobald die NATO diesen Krieg verloren hat, sind die Karten im großen Pokerspiel des Westens neu gemischt und das neue Blatt wird für die NATO alles andere als erfreulich sein. Das macht die Situation so gefährlich – denn was werden die Psychopathen in den Führungsgremien der NATO anstellen, sobald sie sich ihrer Niederlage bewusst werden? Folgen sie dann womöglich dem Motto Englands vor dem Ersten Weltkrieg – „wenn wir schon untergehen, dann bitte der Rest der Welt auch”?
