Saudi Arabia has basically had impunity for 50 years, thanks to the petrodollar deal to make the US dollar the world’s reserve currency. The constant demand for the dollar meant the US could print as much money as it likes, giving it an unlimited military budget. The deal was that the US would militarily support the House of Saud, ensuring it remained in power, no matter how many heads it chopped or how many women it lashed. Yay freedom!
The Saudis had agreed to exclusively use greenbacks to sell crude oil since 1974, after the Nixon administration abandoned the Bretton Woods system. Those greenbacks were turned into bonds to stabilise the US economy and control the inflation that emerged during the Vietnam War years. The US needed to ensure it could afford to keep bombing countries whose leaders didn’t do as they were told.
Back then, it made more sense for the dollar to be the global reserve currency because the US made up 36% of the world’s economy, but this has fallen to 24% and will continue to fall, no matter how many people wear hats saying Make America Great Again! Of course, the deal was never going to last forever because at some point, we were going to have to shift to energy alternatives.

Saudi Arabia has finally opted for currency diversification and made the decision to join BRICs — an alliance of countries who are sick of US economic hegemony and aim to set up a new reserve currency that would take away American power to unilaterally impose sanctions. When your assets are in dollars, the US can cut them off whenever it wants to. This means the US can weaponise access to money and cause big problems for any country that doesn’t obey. No wonder Saudi Arabia is opting for currency diversification. Who wants to live under the thumb of the US forever?
The Saudis are working on a new global payment system called mBridge with China, which is now its biggest oil partner, accounting for more than a fifth of its oil exports. China has surpassed the US as the world’s biggest economy and the shift away from the dollar will turn that gap into a chasm.
In 25 years, the dollar has fallen from 71% of global reserves to 59% and that trend is only going to continue. The trend of de-dollarisation is the reason Taiwan is being armed up to the eyeballs and we are so close to World War III.
Without the petrodollar, the US currency would not have its disproportionate strength and would instead perform like you would expect of a country of its economic output. De-dollarisation could collapse the military industrial complex, but the warmongers are hardly going to go down without a fight, are they? I mean it’s not in their nature!
The media never even mentions the petrodollar because they want you to think the US empire is built around freedom, democracy and having the fairest possible economic system. What it actually has is a monopoly built on military might. The US economic system is no more ethical than the Roman empire was — having the strongest military is not the same as being the good guys.
The petrodollar deal was enough to blow the lid off the idea that American intentions in the Middle East had anything to do with freedom and democracy. The US was willing to prop up one of the most brutal dictatorships in the world, and any other dictatorship that got behind the might of the dollar. As soon as any country threatened the dollar’s dominance, they found themselves in trouble. Saddam Hussein tried to sell oil in Euros. Colonel Gaddafi tried to set up an African central bank. Don’t be surprised if the US suddenly becomes very concerned about the human rights situation in Saudi Arabia…
Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov says the planned Eurasian security framework is facing threats from the rival Western military alliance, NATO.
Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov says NATO is intervening in efforts to create a Eurasian security framework that would rival the US-led military alliance.
“NATO will interfere with such fair processes (the formation of a security architecture in Eurasia), but they have no alternatives,” Lavrov said after meeting his counterparts from the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO)’s member states in the Kazakh city of Almaty on Friday.
Lavrov added that the six-nation CSTO “agrees with the need to form security architecture in Eurasia.”
“Eurasian security faces threats from many different directions, although the main source of these threats is NATO’s aggressive behavior,” Lavrov said, adding the US-led alliance “wants to privatize and become the sole guarantor of stability in our vast region.”
His remarks came as Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that “the time has come to discuss collective security guarantees in Eurasia.”
It is also necessary to “limit the presence of extra-regional military forces there,” the Russian leader said.
According to his remarks, the future security architecture would be open even to NATO members.
Russia, along with its allies in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and BRICS, wants to have serious UN talks on indivisible security.
“Russia is interested in the dialogue on creating an indivisible security system being seriously developed at the UN,” Putin said.
That came amid growing tensions between NATO and Russia over the war in Ukraine.
In February 2022, Russia launched what it called a special military operation in Ukraine partly to prevent NATO’s eastward expansion after warning that the military alliance was following an “aggressive line” against Moscow.
The Western countries have been fueling the flames of the war with their unchecked delivery of weapons to Ukraine.
Moscow has repeatedly warned that such a flow of weapons to Kiev will only prolong the conflict.

Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson, aka Boris Johnson, aka BoJo – former British prime minister, foreign secretary, mayor of London, leader of the Conservative Party (Tories), and, last but not least, member of Parliament – is hawking his forthcoming memoir. Under the title “Unleashed,” the publisher promises it will be like no other prime minister’s reminiscences before. That, for once, is something we could almost believe, even if it’s Johnson who says it.
Indeed, BoJo’s career in politics – which, unfortunately, we have no reason to consider over yet – has left the imprint of something badly “unleashed,” something, that is to say, in the worst style of a monster movie: Think “Godzilla Comes to London,” but without the charm of make-believe.
Where to even begin? Why not at the end: At this point, Johnson, the arch-Tory, is conspicuously absent from the ongoing British elections, although they are in full swing. Full swing, let’s not forget, toward a disaster for BoJo’s fellow Conservatives: Polling by The Economist predicts that the Tories will lose 179 seats of the 371 that they won in 2019; that is a reduction by almost half. Labour, on the other side, seems on track to win 381 seats or more. In other words, a historic landslide is looming, and it will bury the Tories.
And yet, with a desperate battle for political survival afoot and despite half-hearted denials, Johnson is mostly silent, AWOL from the campaign trail. Certainly, one reason is his outsized, even by politicians’ standards, egotism. Johnson has never been one to take one for the team. Most likely still plotting a comeback, he is sitting this one out. And then, he also happens to hate Rishi Sunak, the current, extremely unpopular Tory prime minister. Watching from the sidelines as Sunak gets clobbered is an added bonus.
Some observers believe he is simply too busy making money with speeches and soon his memoirs, which are certain to offer plenty of lucrative indiscretions and sensationalism. And then, there was his recent 60th birthday as well, an occasion his long-suffering wife Carrie – fidelity has never been BoJo’s forte, not even in private life – marked by gifting him three wooden elephant sculptures. In some cultures, that animal stands for a memory that never lets go.
One reason that is not holding BoJo back, rest assured, is the fact that he is the single most scandal-ridden politician in Britain – and, within a British political establishment that is toxic with snobbishness, backstabbing, and corruption, that is quite an achievement.
The key reason why Johnson had to relinquish – at long last and after indecently obstinate resistance – first his premiership, in 2022, and then even his seat in the House of Commons, in 2023, is that he was caught out lying unbearably often. He was forced from his office as prime minister and, later out of Parliament, because of the scandal known as “Partygate”: During the Covid-19 pandemic, he had held illegal, boozy parties in his residence at Downing Street 10, while ordinary Britons were subjected to harsh restrictions; and then he kept denying the facts, blatantly and repeatedly lying not “only” to the British public but to the House of Commons as well. An especially appointed committee found that BoJo was in contempt of parliament.
Apart from egotism, contempt is perhaps Johnson’s most important character trait. Rules – whether legal or moral – are for others, and others only count as far as they can be used to feed Johnson’s insatiable cravings for fame, power, and, really, any form of gratification you can think of – and some you ought not to.
A gifted populist with a knack for appealing to ordinary people, he is, in reality, almost a caricature of a spoiled, self-absorbed “toff,” a typical representative of the worst the British, or specifically English upper classes have to offer. He was born to and raised in privilege. After attending Eton he went to Oxford’s Balliol College. While an excellent college for the many who go there to actually study, that was not Johnson’s case. He was there for the exclusive Bullingdon Club, networking, and early-career politicking. Where another former British prime minister – tactlessly and misleadingly – ascribed “effortless superiority” to Balliol’s graduates, Johnson was of the “superior effortlessness” kind.
BoJo has a carefully cultivated clownish side: the trademark, phony wild hair; the jocular guffaws; the well-rehearsed artificial upper-class stutter, so overdone it’s always slightly comical, if in a mirthless way. But this is an evil clown. Apart from his specific scandals, outsized as they have been, there are his policies that have done – it is true, often in complicity with others – immense harm both inside and outside Britain.
Not the only but the single most obvious example of his taking a wrecking ball to his own country, of which he claims to be a patriot, is his demagogic promotion of Brexit in 2016. He helped heap false promise on false promise. Anyone remember those hundreds of millions of pounds that would flow to Britain’s NHS after Brexit? Those “sunlit uplands” to follow? The UK’s future as “Buccaneering Britain,” a nimble, perky world trade power, unshackled from all that bad EU red tape to cash in wherever opportunity beckons? In 2019, when he led the Conservatives to a massive victory (enhanced, however, by the Starmerite wing of Labour sabotaging their own candidate Jeremy Corbyn), he made the one promise he kept, namely to “get Brexit done.”
Yet once it was done, its real consequences – four years after formal Brexit completion in January 2020 – have turned into a great disappointment. The EU, let’s be clear, is as rotten as can be now: A submissive appendix to Washington’s declining yet scrappy NATO+ empire, undemocratic to the bone, wedded to elitist austerity policies, and stuck in a geopolitical and economic morass due to obediently following the US on its great Eurasian crusade against Russia. But that does not mean that leaving the Brussels monster was a good idea for Britain.
In terms of geopolitics, Brexit has been useless because London is, if anything, even more belligerent toward Moscow than Washington, as its trailblazer role in permitting Ukraine to strike inside Russia with Western weapons has shown again only recently. So, no upside there.
Regarding the economy, a key if not the central issue for “leave” voters, Brexit has been worse than useless: By January 2023, studies summarized in The Economist found that Brexit had shaved 6% off British GDP and 11% off investments, as compared with models simulating a world without Brexit and that average food prices increased by around 3% annually in 2020 and 2021.
One can, of course, argue about the methods and data of these and similar studies. Moreover, assessing the real-world economic impact of Brexit is complicated by the fact that some British problems predated it – for instance, with productivity and investment – and that other factors have also intervened, foremost the Covid-19 pandemic and then the war in and over Ukraine and the West’s self-defeating response to it.
Yet two things are beyond doubt: Brexit has definitely not been the quick and almost utopian success that the Brexiteers, with Johnson among the most vocal, kept selling. And, second, this clear discrepancy between what was promised and what has happened, has made many Britons change their mind. In 2016, 52% voted for leaving the EU and 48% for staying inside. By now, a poll shows that over 60% think that the UK “was wrong” to quit, while less than 40% believe Brexit was the right decision. At least one British polling expert, John Curtice, considers the economy (and not anxieties about immigration) the main cause of this shift.
If his contribution to Brexit has been the worst single blow Boris Johnson has inflicted on his fellow citizens, his meddling in the Ukraine conflict still stands as his most bloody fiasco. Brexit has blighted Britain, but the failure to avoid or end the war quickly has utterly devastated Ukraine. The long-term damage done by Brexit can, perhaps, be repaired in the future, either by Britain rejoining the EU (or, maybe, parts of it, for instance, Scotland) or by other creative maneuvers. And then, the EU itself is in so much trouble that its future is not entirely clear either. But the damage done in Ukraine is largely irreversible: the dead won’t come alive again, many of those displaced abroad won’t return, and the country is very likely to lose substantial territories forever.
Yet, even while the conflict had already escalated to a larger scale, most of this could still have been avoided as of spring 2022. Then, between February and April, Russia and Ukraine almost reached a viable peace deal. By the time, these negotiations peaked in Istanbul, “a very real compromise,” was on the table, according to Aleksandr Chalyi: “We were very close in the middle of April, in the end of April, to finalize our war with some peaceful settlement.” But then, things fell apart, quickly and – at least until now – irreversibly: A peace agreement that could have been remembered as exemplarily rapid and effective was discarded. A war that could have entered history as bad and unnecessary but, ultimately, short and, comparatively, small was left to grow into the worst conflagration in Europe since World War II (yes, worse by far, already, then the Wars of Yugoslav Secession of the 1990s).
BoJo played a role in this dreadful failure. He was not powerful enough, to be fair, to cause it on his own. In essence, he served – with enthusiasm – as a messenger boy for the US and its collective West. But that does not change the fact that he took it upon himself, of his own free will, to use his considerable skills of charm and flattery (A little more Churchill bombast, Sir?) to help persuade Vladimir Zelensky, the hapless president of Ukraine, to abandon the negotiations with the nearly finished deal and, instead, keep fighting. This has long and realistically been claimed by Russian President Vladimir Putin and by now been confirmed by David Arakhamia, a key member of the Ukrainian negotiating team (as well as a top Zelensky aide). Even a recent Foreign Affairs article on these negotiations, while trying hard to spin away from these embarrassing facts, could not help but confirm them.
The Foreign Affairs authors, Samuel Charap and Sergey Radchenko, are right, though, about the fact that the Ukrainian side did not have to listen to Johnson or the West in general. Zelensky, in particular, had what we now call “agency.” He could and should have put his country first, especially once he had seen two things: that Russia was not bluffing and that, at the same time, it was also ready for a reasonable compromise. In that sense, peace failed in the spring of 2022 because two histrionic egomaniacs met in the wrong situation and at the wrong time. One of them is about to publish his self-serving memoirs; the other is still busy avoiding picking up again where he left things hanging in Istanbul.

Überall fordert man dich auf, „kritisch“ zu sein oder „für dich selbst zu denken“. Du sollst alles „hinterfragen“, was „SIE“ dir sagen. Ok, dann machen wir das mal, oder? Und hinterfragen kritisch, was SIE in den Sharepics und Youtube-Videos so behaupten. Wir beim Volksverpetzer sind ja auch keine „Mainstream-Medien“ – also spricht nichts dagegen, einmal zu hinterfragen, oder?

Deshalb hält er es für sinnvoller, dass man eher Impfstoffe entwickelt, als Therapien. Vor allem, da aktuelle Lage andeutet, dass auch Genesene von Covid-19 dauerhafte Folgeschäden haben können (Quelle).
„BEVÖLKERUNGSWACHSTUM REDUZIEREN?“
Bill Gates soll, wie in manchen Sharepics behauptet, offen zugegeben haben, dass Impfungen nur dazu dienten, die Bevölkerung zu reduzieren. Nach der Logik müssten Impfungen ja etwas Gefährliches sein. Doch ergibt das wirklich Sinn? Insbesondere, wenn es jetzt doch schon zig Impfungen gibt, Milliarden dafür auszugeben – teilweise für Fabriken, die Impfstoffkandidaten produzieren sollen, von denen man noch nicht weiß, ob sie erfolgreich sein werden (mehr dazu), für eine Impfung, die erst in etwa 18 Monaten verfügbar wäre?
Vielleicht lässt man hier wieder den Kontext absichtlich weg, um dich zu verarschen und hofft, dass du naiv genug bist, so einem Sharepic zu glauben? Genau so ist es:
IMPFUNGEN DIENEN DAZU, STERBLICHKEIT ZU REDUZIEREN!
Das aus dem Kontext gerissene Zitat zur Bevölkerungsminimierung wurde bereits 2017 von den Faktencheckern von Correctiv und Snopes geprüft und eingeordnet. Das entsprechende Video von 2010 findest du hier. Glaub nicht mir – schau es dir selbst an. Impfungen dienen selbstverständlich nicht dazu, die Bevölkerung zu reduzieren, sondern das Bevölkerungswachstum. Das ist der entscheidende Unterschied. Denn, und das mag manche überraschen, Impfungen senken wirklich die Wahrscheinlichkeit, an der jeweiligen Krankheit zu sterben.
Warum es das Bevölkerungswachstum senkt, wenn die Sterblichkeit sinkt? Weil das historisch in jeder Gesellschaft passiert, wie unzählige Studien zeigen: Wenn die Sterblichkeitsrate sinkt, insbesondere die Kindersterblichkeit, bekommen die Menschen weniger Kinder. Die meisten Eltern haben nämlich nicht acht Kinder, weil sie gerne große Familien haben, sondern weil sehr viele von ihnen nie erwachsen werden. Wenn man zuverlässig davon ausgeht, dass die eigenen Kinder nicht einem hohen Sterberisiko ausgesetzt sind, sondern einen selbst überleben, hat man automatisch weniger Kinder. Das ist Fakt. Die Bevölkerung ist dann reicher und wohlhabender und reichere Menschen haben weniger Kinder.
Wenn man also die (Kinder-)Sterblichkeit senkt, sinkt automatisch auch das Bevölkerungswachstum. Auch wenn das auf den ersten Blick seltsam aussieht. Bill Gates will also, dass weniger Menschen sterben, finanziert deswegen Impfungen und dies senkt auch automatisch das Bevölkerungswachstum. Dieses Sharepic ist also nur der Versuch, mit Unkenntnis Stimmung gegen ein altes Feindbild und Impfungen zu machen. Keine Sorge, Impfungen sind ein Mittel gegen Krankheiten. Wenn also jemand, der selbst keine Ahnung von der Materie hat, dich auffordert, eigenständig über das Thema nachzudenken, dann solltest du das auch tun – anstatt ihm einfach zu glauben.
ZWANGSSTERILISIERUNG DURCH IMPFUNG?
Manche wollen dir auch in diesem Zusammenhang erzählen, dass die WHO irgendetwas mit geheimen Zwangssterilisierungen per Impfungen in Kenia zu tun haben soll. Es geht konkret um die Tetanus-Schutzimpfung mit Spuren des Hormons Choriongonadotropin Beta-hCG. Hier werden wieder bewusst Details weggelassen und hinzuerfunden, um dich zu täuschen: Dieses Märchen geht bis 2014 zurück: Damals veröffentlichte eine Gruppe besorgter katholischer Bischöfe in Kenia eine Erklärung, in der behauptet wurde, dass ein Tetanus-Impfprogramm, das sich an Frauen richtet, ein heimlicher Versuch sei, Frauen aus mysteriösen Gründen massenhaft zu sterilisieren (mehr dazu bei Mimikama).
Die WHO wiederum verweist darauf (Quelle), dass der Impfstoff in über 50 Ländern weltweit eingesetzt wird und sonst niemand von massenhafter Unfruchtbarkeit berichtet. Wäre seltsam, oder? Fakt ist: Falls der Impfstoff als Verhütungsmittel funktionieren würde, würde es nach so vielen Jahren des Einsatzes doch massiv auffallen (mehr dazu)? Die Geburtenraten wären massiv eingebrochen. Die WHO hat lediglich einmal überprüft, ob die Verwendung des Hormons als freiwilliges Verhütungsmittel funktioniert. Hat es aber nicht: Es hat nicht mal als kurzfristig funktioniert. Sonst würden es manche doch als solches verwenden, oder? Lass dich also nicht verarschen.
LEHNT GATES BLUTPLASMATHERAPIE AB?
Das ist falsch! Manche behaupten, Bill Gates würde die erfolgversprechende Blutplasmatherapie ablehnen. Dabei hat seine Stiftung bereits 2014 ein Versuchsprogramm für diese Therapie finanziert (Quelle), und sich 2015 ausdrücklich dafür ausgesprochen (Quelle). Wer etwas anderes erzählt und dir die Quellen verschweigt, will dich absichtlich hinters Licht führen. Guck dir die Quellen ja einfach selbst an und denk für dich selbst.
PROFIT MIT IMPFUNGEN?
Aber Bill Gates will doch bestimmt mit den Investitionen in den Impfungen nur Geld verdienen, erzählen dir viele. Klingt logisch: Er investiert darin, er erwartet sicher auch eine finanzielle Entschädigung, oder? Die Bill und Melinda Gates Foundation investiert in einige Pharmafirmen, zum Beispiel in Curevac aus Deutschland. Aber auch Bayer, Merck, Pfizer und Sanofi sind darunter, die bereits viel kritisiert wurden. Wichtig hier: Es handelt sich in diesen Fällen nur um eine Zusammenarbeit gezielt für Impf- oder Emfängnisverhütungsprojekte. Doch wer dir erzählt, mit Impfungen könnte man viel Geld verdienen, der will dich verarschen!
Die weltweiten Einnahmen bei Impfstoffen belaufen sich nur auf etwa 44,8 Milliarden Euro. Das klingt vielleicht nach viel Geld. Aber insgesamt ist der gesamte Markt mit Arzneimittel satte 1098 Milliarden (1,1 BILLIONEN) Euro schwer! Impfungen betragen gerade mal 4% der Einnahmen (Quelle). Das Top-Pharmaunternehmen GlaxoSmithKline machte 2017 mit Impfstoffen einen Umsatz von gerade mal 6 Milliarden US-Dollar (Quelle). Zum Vergleich: Dieses Unternehmen hat im gleichen Jahr einen Umsatz von 38 Milliarden Dollar gemacht (Quelle). Impfungen sind Peanuts. Es stimmt: Mit Krankheiten kann man Geld verdienen. Aber mit Impfungen, die Krankheiten verhindern, nicht so sehr.
HAT BILL GATES EIN PATENT AUF DAS CORONA-VIRUS?
Einige behaupten, Bill Gates habe über ein von seiner Stiftung unterstütztes Institut ein Patent auf Sars-CoV-2. Warst du so kritisch und hast nach ihren seriösen Quellen gefragt? Die gibt es nämlich nicht. Man zeigt dir höchstens ein Patent, das 2015 vom Pirbright Institut angemeldet wurde. Zu den Finanzierern dieses Instituts zählt neben Gates‘ Stiftung aber auch das britische Umweltministerium, die Weltgesundheitsorganisation (WHO) und die EU-Kommission (Quelle).
Das Patent ist echt, aber handelt es sich um eine Impfstoffentwicklung gegen ein Geflügelvirus. Das aktuelle Virus gehört zu der Familie, der Corona-Viren, wozu auch das Sars- und das Mers-Virus gehören. Miteinander zu tun haben sie jedoch nichts. Bei Immunologen ist es üblich, dass man das Erbgut von Krankheitserregern verändert, um es weniger gefährlich zu machen. Daraus kann man dann Impfstoffe herstellen. Mit dem abgeschwächten Virus kann man impfen und so das Immunsystem gegen das echte, gefährliche Virus – ja, impfen.
ABER MAN MUSS DOCH AUCH KRITISCH MIT BILL GATES SEIN!
Ja klar. Niemand sagt, dass du Bill Gates toll finden sollst. Ihn oder seine Stiftung zu kritisieren macht dich nicht automatisch zum Verschwörungsideologen. Das wirst du nur, wenn du irgendwelche Youtube-Videos oder Sharepics teilst, die seltsame und aus dem Zusammenhang gerissene Behauptungen aufstellen. Und du sie unkritisch glaubst und weiterteilst. Sachliche Kritik sieht aber ganz anders aus: Man kann zum Beispiel kritisieren, dass das Vermögen der Stiftung von Bill Gates von externen Investmentmanagern geleitet wird.
Die Stiftung funktioniert so: Mit dem gespendeten Geld werden Aktien gehandelt und mit den Profiten aus den in diesem Portfolio enthaltenen Aktien wird die Stiftung und ihre Projekte finanziert. Man kann kritisieren, dass in dem Portfolio Aktien von Caterpillar, Coca-Cola und Walmart enthalten sind. Diese suchen vor allem Profit und werden wegen schlechten Bezahlungen und Verdrängungswettberb kritisiert. Diese Punkte stehen teilweise mit den Zielen der Stiftung für Nachhaltigkeit und Fairness entgegen (Quelle).
Man kann auch kritisieren, dass das private Engagement in vielen Ländern staatliche (Gesundheits-)Programme ersetzt oder gar verdrängt. Somit verlieren die Länder nicht nur die Selbstbestimmung über die staatlichen Aufgaben, es ist auch unklar, wie es weitergeht, wenn die Stiftung sich einmal zurück zieht. Die WHO bekommt nur noch zu einem Fünftel ihr Geld über die Beiträge ihrer Mitgliedsländer. Donald Trump hat die Beiträge der USA aus dubiosen Gründen jetzt jedoch erst einmal eingestellt (Quelle).
Somit wird die WHO immer mehr von privater Seite finanziert. Die größte private Spende machte die Stiftung von Bill Gates (210 Millionen Euro), die fast so hoch war wie der gesamte Beitrag der USA (257 Millionen Euro). Natürlich darf er dann aber auch mitreden, wofür das Geld eingesetzt wird. Das ist zwar verständlich, aber entzieht der WHO demokratischer bzw. staatlicher Kontrolle. Und Trump hat dieses Problem kürzlich also noch verstärkt.
BLEIB KRITISCH – ERST RECHT BEI LEUTEN, DIE DICH AUFFORDERN, KRITISCH ZU SEIN!
Es ist toll, wenn du kritisch bist, „nicht alles glaubst“ und Dinge hinterfragst. Das ist ein guter Ansatz. Aber dazu zählt auch das kritische Hinterfragen von seltsamen Behauptungen, Youtube-Videos und Sharepics. Nur weil jemand dir erzählt, dass dieses Zitat gefallen sein soll oder dieses oder jenes passiert sein soll, muss das weder wahr sein, noch die ganze Geschichte. Klar, fühlt es sich gut an, zu einer kleinen Gruppe zu gehören, die „die Wahrheit“ hinter Impfungen oder Bill Gates kennt. Du willst nur sicher nicht, dass es eine Gruppe von Betrüger*innen ist, die sich lächerlich macht.
Kritik und Verschwörungsmythen sind zwei verschiedene Dinge. Und wir Menschen neigen dazu, Dinge unkritischer zu hinterfragen, die wir als wahr ansehen möchten. Das gilt für alle – auch für diejenigen, die dir etwas über Zwangsimpfungen, 5G-Masten oder Zwangssterilisierungen erzählen wollen. Also bleib wirklich kritisch. Hole dir eine zweite Meinung. Erst recht, wenn du eine Information für glaubwürdig hältst. Denn sonst verbreiten sich Fake News und Verschwörungsmythen.

Es ist das einhellige Bestreben aller Länder und Nationen, ein mächtiges Land zu werden. Aber es ist nicht leicht, dies aus eigener Kraft zu erreichen. So wie ein festes Fundament und eine starke Kraft erforderlich sind, um ein Gebäude zu errichten, sollte es ein solides Fundament und eine treibende Kraft des Fortschritts geben, um ein mächtiges nationales Gebilde aufzubauen. Das Volk ist das Fundament eines Staates und der direkte Entwickler desselben. Und die Einheit ist nur ein Eckpfeiler für die Existenz des Staates, und die patriotische Kraft des Volkes ist die treibende Kraft für den Aufbau eines mächtigen Landes.
Rückblickend betrachtet hat sich unsere Revolution stetig zu einer blühenden sozialistischen Nation entwickelt und dabei die Schwierigkeiten und Prüfungen der Geschichte dank des Patriotismus und der Einheit in einem langwierigen Kampf überwunden. Der Weg zu einem mächtigen Staat, den wir beschritten haben, war ein Weg, auf dem wir trotz aller Schwierigkeiten immer schneller vorankamen und auf dem die Kraft des Patriotismus und der Einheit des gesamten Volkes Tag für Tag gestärkt wurde. Im neuen Jahrhundert der Juche-Ära, in dem die DVRK unter unvorstellbar vielen Schwierigkeiten litt, hat unser Volk mit der Kraft des Patriotismus und der Geschlossenheit die bösartigen Provokationen der feindlichen Mächte vereitelt, die Naturkatastrophen und die unerhörte Gesundheitskrise, die man als die größten Turbulenzen seit der Gründung der DVRK bezeichnen kann, überwunden, einen neuen Zeitgeist nach dem anderen mit seiner unwiderstehlichen Kraft geschaffen und energisch eine neue Ära der allgemeinen nationalen Verjüngung eingeleitet.

Vor einigen Tagen berichtete „Newsweek“, dass eine Welle von Massenschießereien am ersten Juniwochenende in verschiedenen amerikanischen Städten neun Tote und mindestens 64 Verletzte gefordert hat. Weiter heißt es dort:
Zwischen dem 31. Mai und dem 2. Juni kam es in Ohio, Kentucky, Missouri, South Carolina und mehreren anderen amerikanischen Bundesstaaten zu Massenschießereien. Die Schießerei mit den meisten Todesopfern ereignete sich in Akron, Ohio. Am frühen 2. Juni stürmte ein Bewaffneter eine Geburtstagsfeier mit über 200 Teilnehmern und schoss blindlings auf sie, wobei eine Person getötet und 24 weitere verletzt wurden. Dieser Vorfall hat die internationale Gesellschaft in Aufruhr versetzt. Die Polizei von Akron erklärte, sie untersuche die Umstände und habe noch keine Festnahmen vorgenommen oder ein Motiv für die Schießerei bestätigt.
Etwa zur gleichen Zeit ereignete sich in Columbus, Ohio, ein weiterer Vorfall, bei dem ein Mann getötet und drei Personen verletzt wurden. Es wurden noch keine Verdächtigen identifiziert. Unterdessen wurden in Louisville, Kentucky, sechs Jugendliche bei einer Schießerei auf einer Party verletzt. In St. Louis, Missouri, wurden vor einer Bar mindestens 90 Schüsse abgefeuert, durch die sieben Menschen verletzt wurden.
In South Carolina kam es bei einem Straßenfest in der Nachbarschaft zu Gewalttätigkeiten, bei denen eine 44-jährige Frau und ein 21-jähriger Mann getötet wurden. Weitere Massenschießereien in Arizona, Virginia, Pennsylvania und Michigan forderten in der ersten Juniwoche 6 Tote und Dutzende von Verletzten. Das U.S. Gun Violence Archive gab an, dass in diesem Jahr bisher mehr als 192 Massenschießereien verzeichnet wurden, und beklagte, dass die Menschen aufgrund der zunehmenden Waffengewalt jeden Moment ihres Lebens mit Unbehagen und Angst verbringen.

People feel called to religion because there’s something in all of us that tells us this world isn’t quite what it seems, like there’s some wondrous mystery lurking just below the surface (really what they’re experiencing is an uncomfortable dissonance with the delusion of egoic consciousness and an impulse to try and awaken from it, but that’s a story for another time). So they look to their religion to tell them how to have a living spirituality that gives them what they’re craving, and, if they are involved in certain Christian or Jewish sects, they’ll be told that they can obtain what they long for by getting passionately engaged on issues regarding the military and geopolitical objectives of a small country on the other side of the planet.
It’s actually kind of sad, if you think about it. People have this impulse calling them beyond themselves to a much higher and deeper purpose, and that impulse is harnessed and used to herd them into support for some of the worst things on earth. They come in looking for transcendence and a personal relationship with the holy, and they are given a stupid, crazy political ideology which tells them to support very mundane human depravities like apartheid and ethnic cleansing.
Authentic spirituality takes you out of your head and anchors you firmly in reality, guiding you into a sincere investigation of what’s actually going on with this mysterious experience called life and never allowing you to accept answers that come from learned knowledge or your tired, boring thought loops. It’s about finding truth that is so true it’s obvious even before you can think any thoughts about it. Things like Zionism lead people in the exact opposite direction: into indoctrinated beliefs, propaganda, deception, and abuse.
