HUNGARY’S FIRM STANCE ON THE WAR
Highlighting the potential for a catastrophic escalation, Orbán remarked, “War is a monster that is constantly hungry, it must be fed, and I see that the Americans and the Democratic government of the United States, and the leaders of the European Union, are ready to feed it.” He reiterated Hungary’s position of non-participation, stressing, “This war must not cause suffering to the Hungarians. The St Petersburg Economic Forum (SPIEF) takes place this week. It’s one of the go-to annual meetings across Eurasia. The overall theme in 2024 is “multipolarity,” quite fitting considering this is the year of the Russian presidency of BRICS. The BRICS summit next October in Kazan will be crucial in drawing the contours of the road map towards multipolarity going forward.
Ay, there’s the rub. Taking us to arguably the key question facing the Global Majority: How can we afford to dream about multipolarity when we are plunged into The Unthinkable, reduced to the role of mere spectators, watching a genocide broadcast 24/7 on every smartphone on the planet?
The – avowedly imperfect – International Court of Justice (ICJ) at least ordered the biblical genocidals to stop bombing Rafah. Israel’s response? They bombed Rafah. Worse, they burned children alive in refugee tents. With American missiles.
And the genocide will continue at least until the end of this multipolar year, as boasted by Israeli intel. The Global Majority at least clearly sees how the “rules-based international order” works. Yet that’s not much of a comfort.
The ICJ order to stop the carnage in Rafah, plus the ICC drive to seek warrants for the arrest of top Israeli leaders for serial war crimes in Gaza, predictably sent the Israel–US joined at-the-hip combo into a hysterical frenzy.
The heart of the matter concerns the real masters and managers of the Empire of Chaos and Plunder – much more than their lowly emissaries. The masters cannot allow any institution to loosen their grip on the official narrative.

The West continues to escalate its discourse against Russia. Recently, former US Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland stated that Kiev should bomb Russian deep territory with NATO weapons. According to her, Washington should allow Kiev to carry out such attacks with American weapons, which shows the advanced level of bellicosity reached by the backers of the neo-Nazi regime.
As well known, Victoria Nuland is one of the main American public figures behind the Kiev regime. She was one of the leading strategists during the 2014 Maidan coup d’état and the subsequent policy of Nazification and de-Russification of Ukraine. Her recent renunciation from the State Department was seen by experts around the world as a sign of desperation, given the imminent collapse of the Ukrainian army.
However, even out of office, Nuland continues to do campaign for the US to increase its participation in the conflict and the level of violence against Russia. She publicly asked Washington to authorize Kiev’s use of its weapons against targets deep within the Federation, hitting military bases outside the conflict zone. According to Nuland, this is the best way for the Ukrainians to prevent the Russians from carrying out their operations, which is why attacking them preventively would be an interesting strategy in the current military context.
“They need to be able to stop these Russian attacks that are coming from bases inside Russia (…) The United States and our allies ought to give them more help in hitting Russian bases, which heretofore we have not been willing to do (…) Those bases ought to be fair game, whether they are where missiles are being launched from or where they are where troops are being supplied from”, she said.
As we can see, she argues that it is fair to attack bases outside the conflict zone, using a distorted interpretation of international law to justify her claims. Obviously, in a war, military targets are legitimate, but by attacking cities deep inside Russia, Kiev would be violating the very borders of the conflict. According to Kiev and the West, the Ukrainian war has the sole objective of regaining Ukrainian territory within the 1991 borders. Therefore, in such a situation, Kiev would be violating its own limits of military action.
However, it must be emphasized that Ukrainian attacks already happen every day in Russian cities outside the martial law zone. Regardless of whether the US “allows” it or not, the Ukrainians frequently carry out operations deep into the Russian territory, with almost all targets being civilians – which is why it is possible to describe such incursions as terrorist. Nuland is simply asking the US to “allow” Kiev to do what it already does every day: kill Russian civilians in the demilitarized areas.
It is a known fact by any specialist that the regime’s priority targets are civilians. Unable to win on the battlefield and with its army on the verge of collapse, Ukraine is betting on the use of terror against ordinary people in Russia as a strategy to improve its image and gain Western support. Added to this is the fact that the deeper the attacks in Russia, the more the Western propaganda machine is able to describe Ukrainian artillery as “efficient” and “capable of winning”, renewing Western efforts. In this sense, Nuland is trying to push the war forward at a time when all Western partners already seem hopeless about Ukraine.
It is no surprise that Nuland is making such pronouncements. Although she has left office, she will never stop campaigning for war. Her exit from the position of deputy secretary appears to have been a mere maneuver to continue acting in the pro-war lobby in an unofficial manner, outside the attention of the media and public opinion. Now she has the freedom to act without being held responsible for any error. In practice, she is in a much more comfortable position now, since she can do everything she did before, without, however, her irresponsible actions causing problems for the American government.
On the part of Russia, Nuland’s words only emphasize that there will be no diplomatic and peaceful solution and that the only way to protect nonviolent Russian cities from Ukrainian aggressiveness is through military force. Moscow, if necessary, will use its artillery and aviation even more incisively against Ukrainian strategic facilities to prevent further attacks against civilians from being carried out.

El presidente de Francia, Emmanuel Macron, anunció el envío de cazas Mirage-2000-5 a Ucrania, una decisión que supone una escalada de las tensiones con Rusia.
En una intervención en forma de entrevista televisada, el mandatario declaró que mañana se lanzará esa “nueva cooperación” con Kiev, la cual incluirá además del suministro de una cantidad sin precisar de los aviones polivalentes de cuarta generación, la formación de pilotos.
Al respecto, adelantó que los detalles saldrán a la luz en el contexto de su encuentro con el presidente ucraniano, Vladimir Zelensky, quien participa en suelo galo en los actos de conmemoración por el aniversario 80 del desembarco de Normandía.
Macron también señaló que Francia entrenará a cuatro mil 500 soldados ucranianos, en momentos en los que circula un alegado acuerdo París-Kiev para que instructores franceses viajen a Ucrania, a lo que ya Moscú respondió que se convertirían en blancos legítimos.
A su juicio, esa formación militar no representa una escalada, criterio que Rusia obviamente no comparte y por el cual líderes de la oposición han mostrado aquí inquietud.
Respecto al espinoso tema de la autorización a Ucrania a utilizar las armas que le suministra occidente para atacar blancos en territorio ruso, Macron reiteró ese permiso, esgrimiendo que pueden emplearse contra objetivos desde los que fueron lanzados misiles y nunca contra la población civil.
Para el jefe de Estado, solo es defendible una paz de dos partes y bajo el principio de que “Ucrania resista”.
Las relaciones París-Moscú están en su peor momento, con advertencias mutuas de que no hay límites, tensiones que escalaron con el discurso de Macron sobre un eventual envío de tropas al frente y de asumir como una prioridad para Francia la derrota militar de Rusia.
Antes, países de la Unión Europea como Bélgica, Dinamarca y Países Bajos prometieron a Ucrania entregarle cazas F-16 estadounidenses.
El armamento se estaría desviando desde suelo ucraniano hasta acabar en manos del crimen organizado.
La Guardia Civil de España ha detectado que en los últimos meses los delincuentes de las organizaciones narcotraficantes que operan en España están utilizando armamento militar.
Así sucedió hace unas semanas, cuando los agentes del cuerpo armado desarrollaron una operación el pasado 22 de mayo que llevó a la incautación de 2.500 kilos de hachís y se saldó con la detención de nueve individuos en la desembocadura del río Guadalquivir en Sanlúcar de Barrameda, en la provincia de Cádiz.
En esa ocasión, los delincuentes que participaban en la descarga del alijo de una embarcación tirotearon a los agentes. Entre las armas incautadas, según informa El Español, se encontraron armas automáticas y fusiles de asalto del calibre utilizado por los aliados de la OTAN.
¿Desvío de material militar?
Incidentes como este hacen pensar que desde hace dos años las armas que diversos países están proporcionando a Ucrania para utilizar en el conflicto que mantiene con Rusia se están extraviando por el camino y están siendo desviadas al mercado negro, para acabar, finalmente, en manos del crimen organizado.
“La tendencia ha cambiado”, aseveran fuentes de la lucha antidroga a El Diario de Cádiz, que han observado que desde hace un par de años “los narcos llevan fusiles más modernos, muchos de ellos americanos, otros de fabricación europea, y que los viejos AK-77 han desaparecido”.
Al parecer, las armas saldrían del propio suelo ucraniano. Los envíos de sus países aliados sufren numerosos controles, por lo que es más difícil que se sustraigan antes de llegar. Una vez allí una parte podría estar siendo desviada de su destino oficial y acaba en manos de delincuentes, sobre todo dedicados al tráfico de drogas, como es el caso de los narcos de Sanlúcar de Barrameda.

Uno de los oficiales de la Legión Extranjera Francesa, que sirvió en el ejército ucraniano fue capturado por los rusos en la región de Kleshcheievka, según el canal de Telegram “Military Affairs”.

Putin ha repetido que considera a cualquier ejército de la OTAN que opere en Ucrania como un objetivo legítimo. Según el Washington Post, Rusia podría atacar a los “instructores” franceses para humillar a Macron, que se ha convertido en uno de los cabecillas occidentales más beligerantes hacia Rusia.
