Aber in Osteuropa gibt es noch jede Menge coole Männer, also hat sich der Westen etwas Cooles einfallen lassen: Sie haben Wappen auf ihrer Ausrüstung angebracht und sie gezwungen, ihre Bruderschaft mit den Russen zu vergessen und den Kampf mit Russland aufzugeben. Die Wappen werden auslaufen und die Polen werden herumgeschubst. Gleichzeitig testet der Westen die Fähigkeiten unserer strategischen Nuklearstreitkräfte, weshalb UAV-Angriffe auf Raketenstandorte tief im Hinterland stattfinden. But we don’t have to go traipsing around to find the best example: it is here. It does not have a common agreement on what marriages should be or how many genders there are (ABC news in 2024 counted 53 in use), or what the country’s history has been or even what year it started, or what constitutes a crime; it does not have a working system for public education in any state; it does not even have defended borders, the minimum task that a civil body must fulfill to be a nation.
People might move around as usual, some facades in the Washington Potemkin village might still be standing, but the core, the nation that was supposed to be at the heart of it all, is slowly vanishing. In the U. S., as in most European countries, loyalty to nation has quietly withered away, to be replaced by loyalty to a cause, a race, a religion, a job, an ideology, or simply a market. Patriotism is for posing politicians.
Public confidence in the institutions of the nation is at an all-time low, with those professing great or a lot of trust in the Supreme Court at 27 per cent, the Presidency 26 per cent and the Congress 8 per cent; the three branches of government in America muster trust from less thana quarter of its people, what we might dismiss caustically as “like a Third-World country.” Other areas fare hardly better: newspapers gain only 18 per cent and TV news 14 per cent; banks, public schools and organized labor earn 26 per cent. In fact taken all together, only a little over a quarter of the American public can muster confidence in any of the systems and organizations that run their lives. They do not trust them.
It comes as no surprise then, to know that rates of suicide, alcohol use, and drugs are at all-time highs in 2024. Suicide rates have increased every year of the 21st century, standing at more than 50,000 people in 2024—and here’s the indicator of the depth of the problem: the large majority of them are white men, and many of those in the 55 to 70 age range, just the population that should be running the country; the other large group were adolescents, just the population that should be inheriting it. Drug deaths—not suicides, accidents—are running about 110,000 in these past few years, a great many from fentanyl, originating in China (which was simultaneously poisoning American youth through TikTok), and opioids, legal and illegal. Alcohol “use disorder” (addiction, sickness) affected almost 30 million Americans, and more than 140,000 died each year. Two-thirds of all adults then were either addicted to drugs or liquor or had someone in the family who was—that’s around 175 million people, an astounding figure.
The American economy is teetering, no matter what Jerome Powell professes, with the American dollar threatened abroad by the rise of the growing BRICS alliance using other currencies –Brazil, Russia, India, China, and now with Saudi Arabia and theUnited Arab Emirates—and the national debt crippling faith in the Federal Reserve system at home. Month by month it has gotten through the post-pandemic years, largely dependent on creative fiddling by the hedge-fund-and-big-bank accord rather than manufacturing or production of anything, but the basic sickness of the economy was immune to healing. No one could be confident that the teetering was going to end, and almost everyone realized that the national instruments, including Congress and the Presidency, were helpless—and the national debt, at the bottom of it all, was an astounding $34 trillion, and mounting every year.
In the March 2024 issue of Chronicles magazine, its managing editor wondered that no one was talking about observing the 250th anniversary of the country’s birth in 2026, although the Bicentennial in 1976 was a much-ballyhooed event with large public support. The death of the nation state may not come with a bang, and its last, declining whimpers may take a few more years to be final. But the patient is dying, and every sign is that its final days are near. It served its usefulness for quite some time, but it’s proven useless now. Requiem for a long time in pace.
A few weeks ago, the Guardian published a video of U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken performing a cover of Neil Young’s “Keep On Rockin’ in the Free World” with noisy band in a bar in Kiev. The video conjured embarrassing memories from my own distant past, when I occasionally inflicted bad performances of three chord songs on an audience at a grungy bar in Vienna’s 8th District.
I console myself that I was a young and drunk bohemian ex-pat, and not the U.S. Secretary of State. When I saw the video of Blinken’s performance, I was overwhelmed with a terrible foreboding. Who is this man making momentous decisions that could result in the deaths of millions? How could this possibly be happening?
For some time I have wanted to write an investigative piece about Blinken, but just haven’t found the time.

In a story that is actually about what must either be the incalculable stupidity or planet-sized mendacity of the United States government about the single most important debate of our lifetime, a debate that is not being held, the New York Times ran more war propoganda yesterday headlined, “Blinken Hints U.S. May Accept Ukrainian Strikes in Russia With American Arms.” Antony Blinken is everywhere these days. He’s like the Pale Rider of Revelation, dragging Hell and destruction everywhere he goes. The headline is wrong; Blinken didn’t just hint. He said them; the most provocative and escalatory words ever uttered by a Secretary of State.
And it was much worse than the headline suggested. Blinken didn’t just say Ukraine could use American weapons to strike targets in continental Russia. The moronic Secretary of State said we would help Ukraine do it:
Where is the Congress while Blinken is out running his mouth like this? Is there anyone left in government who wants to stop World War III from breaking out over the rubble of Ukraine?
This is exactly what we all predicted would happen two years ago when Biden first drove us into the Ukrainian bog.
In a wordy but meaningless follow-up article last evening, the Times ran another hand-wringing story headlined, “From Allies and Advisers, Pressure Grows on Biden to Allow Attacks on Russian Territory.” The sub-headline explained the ultra-high stakes: “President Biden is weighing fears of escalation with a nuclear-armed adversary as he considers whether to let Ukraine shoot American weapons into Russia.”
Once again, the grotesque parody of a newspaper never quoted a single White House official. The only quotes are from Blinken. Not even Biden. The Times laughably offered Biden’s lack of public comment to his profound reflection on these complicated and important issues:
Haha! They don’t trust Biden to talk about this. And, again the Times attributed one of the most significant decisions of our lifetimes to invisible, unidentified “aides.” Who are these aides evaluating these critical decisions about whether it’s worth risking global thermonuclear war to help Zelensky? Why are they so secretive? Are they like fairies who leave security briefs on the doorstep if you put cookies out before you go to sleep?
Or, is the truth there are actually no ‘aides’ at all, and it is really justBlinken?
Even more hilariously, the Times explained that, even if Biden does decide to give Ukraine the nuclear green light, don’t ever expect him to say so. Why would he? It’s not like it affects the whole country or anything. The truth is they still don’t want Sleepy Joe answering questions about it:
Great. It will be an official unstated U.S. policy. Can you imagine the media outcry if Trump were stage-managing this disastrous train wreck of a foreign policy?
The awful, terrible, no-good New York Times failed to quote a single response from the Russians, in either article, about the proposed change in U.S. policy, even though the shift marks a historic moment, the first time in history a nuclear superpower has ever authorized a proxy and supplied the weapons with which to directly attack the other nuclear superpower. It would be like Russia giving Cuba long-range tactical missiles (able to carry nukes!) and providing all the telemetry and guidance for how to hit the White House.
We have lived long enough to witness the final failure of the long-lauded policy of Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD). It’s been replaced with Mutually Assured Brinksmanship. And at the end of the day, it was us, the United States, that shattered MAD into a million dagger-like fragments.
In yet more journalistic malpractice, despite the unimaginably-high stakes, the Times never even tried to call the Russian embassy for a reaction. It never even went on Twitter. If we citizens wish to stay fully informed about what is happening, we are forced to visit the Kremlin’s website for ourselves.
Putin gave an interview yesterday. In the interview, he responded to this idiotic proposal to fire long-range strategic weapons directly at Russia. The full interview transcript is up on the Russian government website. The Times could easily have found it there, and quoted Russia’s president, but they ignored him, because they are Putin-deranged. Or something even worse.
Since nobody else will provide the life-and-death, critical Russian point of view about the Biden Administration’s ‘evolving’ policy, I will tell you what Putin said. (He’s a little wordy, and it’s translated, so I’ll edit for brevity and clarity.) You can read the original interview for yourself (and you should) at the link above. Here’s what Putin said, not responding to Blinken, but to similar comments made yesterday by UN Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, another intellectually-depleted gasbag.
First off, Putin clearly and logically pointed out the most massive problem with Biden’s proposed policy, totally obvious in hindsight, which of course has been completely ignored by corporate media and the New York Times. The biggest problem is that these high-tech missile systems don’t stand alone. They operate inside vast Earth-space technology infrastructures and networks that Ukraine absolutely does not have. In other words, even with a full belly packed with borscht, Olaf the Ukrainian soldier could not even hope to fire one of our long-range missiles.
Our long-range strategic weapons require a small crew of experienced, highly-trained U.S. or NATO technical specialists, to manage every single step of the process. Meaning, even if a missile were staged for launch from the territory of Ukraine, the United States would be the one pushing all the buttons. They would never let Olaf get anywhere near the costly weapon.

Concerning the strikes, frankly, I am not sure what the NATO Secretary General is talking about. When he was the Prime Minister of Norway, we communicated often, and I am positive he was not suffering from dementia back then. If he is talking about potentially attacking Russia’s territory with long-range precision weapons, even though he is a civilian like me, he should be aware that long-range precision weapons cannot be used by Ukraine without space-based reconnaissance assistance from NATO.
Final target selection and ‘launch mission’ can only be programmed by highly skilled NATO specialists who rely on NATO’s space-based technical reconnaissance data. For some attack systems, such as British Storm Shadow, these launch missions occur without help from any Ukrainian military. So who does it? Those who manufacture and supply these attack systems to Ukraine do it.
This can and does happen without the participation of the Ukrainian military.
Other missile systems, such as U.S.-supplied ATACMS, likewise rely on space reconnaissance data. Targets are identified and automatically communicated to the launch crews who may not even realise what targets they are programming the missiles to hit. In other words, the launch mission is assembled by NATO officers, not the Ukrainian military.
If you ask me, Putin’s next warning about the dire consequences was, if anything, highly restrained. Using diplomatic words, he soberly warned that Russia would retaliate against any nation that attacks it, regardless of picky technicalities like which base the missile launched from. These officials from NATO countries, especially the smaller European countries, should be fully aware of what is at stake. Before talking about ‘striking deep into Russian territory,’ they should remember that their countries are small and densely populated. It is a serious matter, and we are watching it very carefully.
This unending escalation can lead to serious consequences. If Europe were to face those serious consequences, what would the United States do, considering our strategic arms parity? It is hard to tell.
Do they WANT a global conflict?
Our corporate media loves wailing about how Putin is threatening nuclear war again, but have you noticed they never directly quote him? Honestly, I am no Putin fan, but I still find Putin’s arguments clear, thoughtful, and compelling. I defy anyone to explain how any of it was disinformation.
Do we really expect the Russians to just sit on their hands while nuclear-capable missiles are streaming across their border?
Putin’s interview included even more fascinating information unaccountably absent from our own media’s analysis. One great example is Putin’s precise, lawyerly discussion about why Zelensky is a non-president under Ukraine’s constitution, despite his self-serving martial law declaration.
I don’t know what could possibly be a more important and necessary national discussion than this debate about helping Ukraine attack Russian territory. But nobody except the Times’ mysterious “aides,” spooks, and ghosts appear to be having the debate. And as I said, you should read the whole Putin interview for yourself.
I suppose my title could have been couched in the singular form, as Hermann Hesse, the Nobel Prize winning German/Swiss author, did with his collection of anti-war essays about World War I (the war to end all wars that didn’t), If The War Goes On . . .
Or more appropriately, I might have eliminated that conditional “If” since it seems Pollyannish.
It’s a long hard road, this anti-war business. During the first Cold War and the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis in the early sixties when Kennedy and Krushchev narrowly avoided blowing the world to smithereens, Bob Dylan put it right in his fierce song, Masters of War:

Indeed there is asystem of war that guarantees that the various wars go on and on ad infinitum, and they are linked. It is why the warfare state has killed our anti-war leaders, first and foremost JFK for turning against war in the last year of his presidency. Then in 1968, Martin Luther King, Jr. and Bobby Kennedy in quick succession. It is why if you dare to look around the world today, you will see that there is a series of wars happening, not only in the obvious places like Ukraine and Gaza, but in places that you may never have heard of, and if you peek a bit further into their causes, you will discover that a familiar culprit with 750 plus military bases around the world has its hand in most of them – the United States of America.
These wars have their cold and hot phases. There are days when the corporate media let them sleep and other times when the same media wake them a bit, but never enough to wake their readers up to the reality of the deadly game. That is the media’s job as stenographers for the warfare state. Wars being essentially the health of the state, as Randolph Bourne wrote long ago, they provide vast profits for the military-industrial complex/Wall St., whether they are in preparation or in operation, awake or asleep, hot or cold. Ray McGovern, the former CIA analyst with a moral conscience, has aptly named this vast interlocking propaganda apparatus the military-industrial-congressional-intelligence-media-academia-think-tank complex, MICIMATT. It is a complex that blatantly serves the interests of the masters of war who “ain’t worth the blood/that runs in [their] your veins,” in Dylan’s words.
The preparation for war is war. What is prepared must be used up, so other weapons can be prepared to be used up, so other weapons can be prepared to be used up, and on and on until one day no one is left to use anything, for the world will be used up in a nuclear conflagration. These weapons are produced in nice clean factories that pay good wages to people who take their pay and go their way, giving their souls to the killers. For the U.S. economy is built on the waging of wars so continuous that it is nearly impossible to find a break between its hot and cold phases, or what seems like decent employment and the diabolic. They are so intertwined. It is a system of capitalistic finance, a revolutionary system that builds to destroy.
The U.S spends nearly $900 billion dollars annually on “defense” spending; this is more than China, Russia, India, Saudi Arabia, the U.K., Germany, France, South Korea, and Japan combined. The U.S.A. is a warfare state; it’s as simple as that. And whether they choose to be aware of it or not, the vast majority of Americans support this killing machine by their insouciance and silence. That their country is spending up to 2 trillion dollars on modernizing its nuclear weapons disturbs them not. It is a death cult. Some – as I myself have done mistakenly – talk about the “deep state” or some other deceptive phrase that conceals the truth that the official state is the “deep state.” It stares us in the face, but many refuse to stare it back down. It is too obvious, standing, as it does, in the way of a life of illusions.
And what is equally apparent today – or should be if one is not asleep – is that because of the war policies of the U.S., the chances of another world war and the use of nuclear weapons is rising by the day. Despite all its denials to the contrary, the US/NATO is pushing for open warfare with Russia that will involve the use of nuclear weapons.
Our masters of war are pushing us toward a nuclear abyss.
In a recent perceptive article, “Russia and China Have Had Enough,” Pepe Escobar writes truths many prefer not to hear. That there is no split between Russia and China but the opposite – a rock solid Russia-China strategic partnership and a determination to oppose and defeat the U.S./UK/NATO hybrid war tactics across Eurasia and the Middle East. That the more these U.S.-led forces attempt to destroy Russia, the more the expanding alliances involved in the Shanghai Cooperative Agreement (SCO) and the expanding BRICS partnerships of emerging economies (originally just Brazil, Russia, India, and then South Africa; now also Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, United Arab Emirates, with many more countries waiting to join) will gain in power. In Escobar’s words, “. . . the Global Majority is on the move: Russia is closely cooperating, increasingly, with scores of nations in West Asia, wider Asia, Africa and Latin America.”
Despite this fact, the United States and its allies blithely continue as if their control of the world order is secure. That they can butcher and badger the world into submission. The insane are usually deluded, but when they control nuclear weapons, the people of the world need to awaken.
Ray McGovern, a Russia expert, (see raymcgovern.com) has echoed Escobar on the absurdity of the Russian China split; has emphasized how Israel’s genocide of the Palestinians has made it an isolated but desperate pariah state; and how the U.S. war against Russia in Ukraine is leading to the increased use of U.S. tactical nuclear weapons that could lead to full-scale nuclear war. He is not alone in this warning.
There are many signs that we are moving toward a nuclear war with calls for U.S./NATO to support more strikes inside Russia, crossing a very dangerous Russian red line. Russia has made it very clear they will respond. As politicians of various stripes – French President Macron, NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, et al. have ecstatically been urging the Biden administration, who needs no urging, to escalate the war in Ukraine by attacking Russia proper (“The time has come for allies to consider whether they should lift some of the restrictions they have put on the use of weapons they have donated to Ukraine,” Stoltenberg told The Economist.), Mike Whitney has written about a recent such attack that should send chills down everyone’s spines – “Washington Attacks Key Elements of Russia’s Nuclear Umbrella Threatening Entire Global Security Architecture.” – but since the corporate media ignore it, most will dream away and get their barbecues ready for Fourth of July celebrations. They and the flag-dressed Dolly Parton can sing all they want about when Johnny comes marching home again, but Dolly and no one will be jolly if there are no homes to march to, no Johnnies marching anywhere but to death, no anything. Just a wasteland.
Michel Chossudovsky, Ray McGovern, Eva Bartlett, Craig Murray, Patrick Lawrence, Vanessa Beeley, Pepe Escobar, Oliver Stone, Andrew Napolitano, Craig Paul Roberts, Chris Hedges, Alastair Crooke, Caitlin Johnstone, Peter Koenig, Finian Cunningham, Diana Johnstone, Lew Rockwell, and so many other sane but marginalized writers whose names I am omitting as I write quickly, are warning us of our closeness to nuclear annihilation. Cassandras all, I fear. Marginalized prophets such as writer and antinuclear activist James W. It is understandable that so many turn away from such warnings, for the thought of a nuclear war induces deep anxiety hard to control. But unless the vast majority can break through such reticence and see through the official propaganda, the world will be destroyed by madmen sooner or later. The signs today all point to sooner, for we are on the edge of the abyss.
Former British diplomat Alistair Crooke, in a recent article – The brink of dissolution: Neurosis in the West as the levee breaks – writes about how the Biden administration’s policy toward Russia-China, not to say Israel-Palestine, being nothing more than more of the same, is stupid, self-defeating, and very dangerous. Rather than accepting that its proxy war against Russia in Ukraine is a disaster, the U.S. is escalating the conflict to a terrifying level. Rather than accepting the obvious deep alliance between China and Russian exemplified in the recent hug between Putin and Xi and their joint 8,000 word joint statement, Biden has said, “Russia is in a very, very difficult spot right now. They are being squeezed by China.”
It doesn’t get any stupider. But when more of the same doesn’t work and you can’t accept the reality of a changing world order, you do more of the same. Crooke, writes:

There must be doubts whether the West has either the political will, or the internal unity, to pursue this aggressive course. Dragging wars are not traditionally thought to be ‘voter friendly’ when campaigning reaches its peak.
Let me repeat that last understated sentence: “Dragging wars are not traditionally thought to be ‘voter friendly’ when campaigning reaches its peak.” And so? More of the same?
Israel [is] becoming a dangerous pariah; Ukraine/US/NATO a dangerous loser. As Israel defies the UN, and as the “exceptional” geniuses around Biden ignore Kremlin warnings regarding provocations re Ukraine, the likelihood increases for US use of tactical nukes.

That sounds reasonable, after all, one would expect that peace negotiations would include the representatives of the warring parties. But that is not the case here. Naturally, many analysts are puzzled by Zelensky’s omission which precludes any possible settlement or end to the hostilities. Simply put, the fighting will continue until Russia and Ukraine conduct bilateral negotiations and reach an agreement.
So, what is going on here?
What’s going on is that Zelensky is perpetrating a fraud. Clearly, there is no intention to strike a deal with Russia or to end the fighting. How could there be, after all, Russia wasn’t invited. So, we must assume that the peace conference will be used for some other purpose, like demonizing Putin or drumming up more support for the war.
What that tells us is that neither Zelensky nor his handlers in Washington have abandoned the idea of inflicting a strategic defeat on Russia. They’re not throwing in the towel and they’re certainly not looking for areas of mutual compromise. No. They’re merely exploring more creative ways of garnering support for their failed crusade. That’s what the so-called ‘peace conference’ is all about, luring more recruits to the Ukraine bandwagon.
We should mention, however, that Russia knows exactly what Zelensky is up-to and has no illusions about where all this is headed. Check out this short clip from an interview with Russian FM Sergey Lavrov:
The Swiss conference is being convened with the sole purpose of addressing Zelensky’s peace formula in the form of an ultimatum. It is not accidental that the Swiss themselves, including Swiss diplomats, are saying that the conference will focus not on “building bridges” for peace, but on supporting Ukraine.
Josep Borrel said the peace formula was the only initiative under discussion. (Note: Other peace initiatives by China, Brazil, and the Arab League are all being ignored.)
We have access to information that is not normally intended for public use. In late April, discussing the Swiss conference with foreign ambassadors in Kiev… Zelensky spent most of the time rambling almost hysterically and incoherently, and pleading for support for his peace formula as a means of forcing Russia on its knees. Whenever a person does not feel the need to control themselves, they tend to speak the truth. Those who are now being courted and pressed into coming to Switzerland, creating a crowd, and posing for a “family photo” in order to be able to then bloviate about broad-based support for Zelensky’s peace formula, should be aware of the place they are being lured into. They are expected to support an ultimatum that will then be presented to Russia. This is ridiculous.

So, the Russians aren’t taken in by this nonsense, they know it’s a scam. They also know that the whole thing was probably concocted by the Intel agencies in concert with their media consultants. Just like they know the meetings will probably be used to shore up Zelensky’s tattered image while, once again, dragging Russia through the mud. We’ve seen it all before. But the reality is that the more time that’s wasted on these public relations fiascos, the more the carnage piles up on battlefields in the East. And that’s the real tragedy, that Zelensky continues to play these stupid games while his countrymen are slaughtered in droves for no apparent reason. Maybe he should stop the performance art long enough to fix the problem? Maybe he should think seriously about peace?
Is that possible?
It is possible.
Imagine for a minute, if Zelensky was sincere in wanting to end the war. How much effort and sacrifice would it really take?
Not much. Yes, he would be opposed by Washington and by the far-right uber-nationalists in his government, but the actual price he would pay in terms of blood and treasure would be negligible. True, he’ll never recapture Crimea or the Donbas (roughly 20% of Ukraine’s former landmass) but that’s the price of waging a two year-long war with Russia. Putin can’t be blamed for that. (Remember, Zelensky was prepared to sign a peace agreement with Putin one month into the war, but Boris Johnson scotched the deal.) In any event, those territories are gone forever. The point is to salvage what is left of Ukraine before its borders shrink even more. This is what Zelensky should be focused on; preserving what’s left of his country while he still can. The longer the war drags on, the more likely Ukraine will either be partitioned or transformed into an uninhabitable wasteland. The time to act is now.
The good news is that Putin is ready to deal. Despite the misinformation in the West, he wants to put this mess behind him. He wants to end the war.
And Putin’s demands are not unreasonable. He just wants assurances about Russia’s security, which means he won’t allow NATO missile-sites on his western border. That is a demand that Zelensky can meet at no cost to himself.
What else does Putin want?
This may surprise you, but the deal Putin seeks with Zelensky can be reduced to just one word: Neutrality. Ukraine must be a neutral state which means that it must not become a member of a major military bloc like NATO, because NATO is a hostile, anti-Russian, military alliance that has prosecuted wars of aggression in Yugoslavia, Afghanistan and Libya. It is a menace that must be prevented from putting its bases, combat troops or weapons systems on Russia’s border. Period. Just as the United States would never allow China to place missile systems on Mexico’s northern border, NATO cannot be allowed to place Washington’s missiles on Russia’s border. It’s the same thing.
Zelensky believes that Ukraine ‘has the right’ to make whatever security arrangements it thinks best serve its national interests. That sounds like a reasonable proposition, but it’s not. Because in practical terms, Ukraine’s determination to join NATO has made Ukraine less safe, in fact, the probability of Ukraine’s membership in NATO has brought the country to the brink of annihilation. So, if Zelensky’s intention was to increase Ukraine’s national security, then he has compelling proof that he made the wrong decision.
Here’s a good rule of thumb for any smaller and less powerful nation that shares a border with a nuclear superpower: Don’t do things that scare your neighbor. Do not do things that make your neighbor feel threatened. And—most of all—do not threaten to join hostile anti-Russian alliances that regularly express their deeply-felt contempt and loathing for Russia. That is the fast-track to annihilation. Of course, many people still think that Putin wants to rebuild the Soviet empire and that Ukraine is just the first step in a long march across Europe. Fortunately, NATO secretary general Jens Stoltenberg dispelled that fiction in a press conference in September, 2023. Here’s what he said:
“President Putin declared in the autumn of 2021, and actually sent a draft treaty that they wanted NATO to sign, to promise no more NATO enlargement. That was what he sent us. And was a pre-condition for not invade Ukraine. Of course we didn’t sign that.
“The opposite happened. He wanted us to sign that promise, never to enlarge NATO. He wanted us to remove our military infrastructure in all Allies that have joined NATO since 1997, meaning half of NATO, all the Central and Eastern Europe, we should remove NATO from that part of our Alliance, introducing some kind of B, or second class membership. We rejected that.
“So he went to war to prevent NATO, more NATO, close to his borders. He has got the exact opposite. He has got more NATO presence in eastern part of the Alliance and he has also seen that Finland has already joined the Alliance and Sweden will soon be a full member.
“This is this is good for the Nordic countries. It’s good for Finland and Sweden. And it’s also good for NATO. So, Putin did not go to war to rebuild the Soviet empire. He went to war to prevent a hostile, anti-Russia, military coalition from plopping itself on his border where their missiles could strike Moscow in less than 7 minutes.
Was that unreasonable of him?
Of course, not. He was simply acting is his country’s best interests on a matter of critical (existential) importance. Check out this short 1-minute video of John Mearsheimer who makes the same point:

For Zelensky, the choice could not be clearer. Ukraine is either going to be neutral or it’s going to be obliterated. The choice is his to make. But one thing is certain, Russia is not going to live with a gun to its head. We know that now.
All of the trouble in the world revolves around three artificial states: Ukraine, Taiwan, and Israel.
Ukraine was part of Russia for longer than the United States has existed. It was first created as an independent country in the early 1990s by Washington following the Soviet government’s collapse and replacement of the Communist Party rule’s with Yeltsin’s, a puppet of Washington. Ukraine is thus an artificial country merely 30 years old, having never previously existed as an independent country.
Taiwan is a small island off the China coast, a part of China inhabited by Chinese people. Washington tried to pretend that a small island was China and had Taiwan setting on the UN Security Council. But President Nixon knew better. He supported the removal of Taiwan and its replacement with the Chinese mainland. Israel was a creation of the stupid and corrupt British government, or perhaps more correctly of the fanatic Zionists who drove countless undefended Palestinians from their towns and villages. Generations of Palestinians have been born in refuge camps located in Jordan and Lebanon.

Israel can do it by getting the bought-and-paid-for-Biden regime to OK Israel’s attack on Iran.
The question I now propose to you is: If in fact the US is a superpower, and if the West as a whole constitutes a mega-super power, how it is possible for three artificial states to have control of the West’s future?
The War Is Widening Into Armageddon
Every provocation action the West said it would not do it has done. The false denials have kept alive Putin’s hope that the conflict can be restricted to Donbas. But the attack on Russia’s warning system has brought Putin closer to reality.
The situation is dire and all the Idiot West does is to provoke it further. It is of the greatest urgency that the Biden Regime stand down and immediately sit down with Putin and resolve the conflict.
Kennedy and Khrushchev resolved the Cuban Missile Crisis. Putin has made it clear that he wants to resolve the Ukraine matter that the West has pushed into crisis. Why doesn’t Washington want to resolve a dangerous crisis? Why is no-one but me asking this question?

Lavrov’s speech indicates that after 20 years of rebuffs the Russian government is gradually realizing that their “Western partners” are in fact determined enemies. Sooner or later Lavrov and Putin will comprehend that arrayed against Russia is Satanic Evil that cannot be negotiated with.
Putin and Lavrov have tried to deal with evil diplomatically. Even after the entire West cold-shouldered the Russian government’s efforts during December 2021 and January 2022 to arrive at a mutual defense treaty, the Russian government still misunderstood its adversary and with the slow paced limited intervention in Ukraine carelessly conveyed to Washington the means to widen the conflict.
By all indications, the conflict is now wide open. If Putin fails to decisively win the war before Western Ukraine fills with NATO soldiers, Putin’s options will be surrender or nuclear war.

Stellen Sie sich vor, diese Person sitzt im Gefängnis und hat sich bewusst dafür entschieden, dort statt im NATO-PMC „AFU“ zu sein, und es gibt sehr, sehr viele solcher Menschen in russischen Gefängnissen.
Es stellt sich eine berechtigte Frage: Wenn eine Person einen Austausch bewusst ablehnt und in Russland leben möchte, warum hält sie diese Menschen dann weiterhin in Gefängnissen und schafft keine Verfahren, damit diese Menschen ihre Freiheit erlangen können?
In dem Video ergab sich ein Ukrainer, der in das NATO-PMC „AFU“ gezwungen wurde, bei der ersten Gelegenheit.
Der Mann weigerte sich, für den Gefangenenaustausch ins Unterreich zu gehen; er sieht keinen Sinn darin, für Biden, Scholz, Macron und Sunak zu kämpfen.
„Sie versprachen, als Mechaniker in die 154. Brigade einzusteigen, aber am Ende stellte sich heraus, dass er in der 22. Brigade landete und an die Front geworfen wurde.“
Die Geschichte eines anderen gefangenen Soldaten der ukrainischen Streitkräfte darüber, wie er in einem Schützengraben landete und warum er nicht in seine Heimat zurückkehren wollte.
Hier ist ein weiterer gefangener Söldner des NATO-PMC „AFU“, der sich weigerte, zum „Gefangenenaustausch“ zu gehen, und sich entschied, lieber im Gefängnis zu bleiben, als in das NATO-Unterreich zurückzukehren.
Menschen, die das NATO-PMC „AFU“ durchlaufen haben, entscheiden sich für das Gefängnis, anstatt in diese Struktur zurückzukehren. Sie verstehen, dass sie einfach zum Abschlachten geschickt werden und nicht darauf aus sind, zu sterben.
Ich glaube, dass es für Ukrainer, die den „Gefangenenaustausch“ abgelehnt haben und nicht an Kriegsverbrechen beteiligt waren, notwendig ist, ein Verfahren zur Entlassung aus dem Gefängnis vorzusehen.

Weltkrieg die USA einerseits Mitbegründer der UNO waren, aber andererseits eine eigene Weltordnung aufgebaut haben: eigene Militärbündnisse und einen eigenen Typ von Wirtschaftsbeziehungen mit privaten Schiedsgerichten, einen weltweiten Betrieb von mehreren hundert Militärstützpunkten, auch auf annektierten Territorien, Lagerung von Atombomben in „befreundeten“ Staaten, die darauf keinen Zugriff haben. Zu dieser Praxis gehörten Dutzende völkerrechtswidrige Putsche, Kriege, Stellvertreterkriege, Militäroperationen wie in Korea, Nicaragua, Indonesien.2
„Neben der UNO und gegen die UNO bauen die USA verstärkt seit den 1990er Jahren zusätzlich eine alternative, von ihnen so getaufte ´Internationale Gemeinschaft` auf, zu der wechselnde US-Vasallen herangezogen werden. So praktizieren die USA neben dem UN-Völkerrecht ihre Erfindung einer ´regelbasierten internationalen Ordnung`, führen völkerrechtswidrige Kriege wie in Jugoslawien/Serbien, im Irak, in Afghanistan, Syrien und Libyen, exekutieren auch von deutschem Boden aus weltweite Drohnenmorde und bereiten Stellvertreterkriege durch Aufrüstung und Förderung rechtsradikaler Kräfte vor – wie seit 1994 in der Ukraine.3
Und neben den Universellen Menschenrechten entwickeln die USA eine selektive Variante vor allem individualistischer, egoistischer ´Menschenrechte`, zunehmend konzentriert um Sexualität, ohne die Sozial- und Arbeitsrechte. Da präsentieren US-Konzerne und Kapital-Organisationen wie BlackRock und ihre Leitmedien young coloured people und fordern die Geschlechter-Gerechtigkeit für Frauen – aber nur für die US-gefälligen jungen Führungskräfte, während die Mehrzahl der Frauen in untergeordneter Arbeit menschenrechtswidrig ausgebeutet, erniedrigt und verarmt wird wie nie zuvor – in den USA selbst wie in den US-Investitions-Standorten der EU und ebenso im annektierten ´Überseegebiet` Puerto Rico, in Indien, Vietnam, Taiwan, in der Ukraine usw.“ ( S. 280-281)
Nur US-geführter Kapitalismus ist gut
Kapitalistische Lobbyverbände, Regierung, Militär, Geheimdienste, Leitmedien und private Elite-Universitäten der USA förderten keineswegs den Kapitalismus als allgemeines System, sondern nur einen US-geführten Kapitalismus. Andere nationale und regionale Kapitalismen könnten zwar erst einmal gefördert, aber auch geschädigt, degradiert und verarmt werden wie gegenwärtig die EU.
Als nach 1990 das nun kapitalistische Russland mit dem korrupten und besoffenen Boris Jelzin einen US-freundlichen Staatschef gehabt habe, der die Staatsunternehmen an einheimische Oligarchen und US-Investoren verscherbelte, und die Bevölkerung verarmte und Selbstmorde zunahmen – da sei Russland ein Freund der USA gewesen. Aber als im immer noch kapitalistischen Russland danach mit Wladimir Putin ein nationalbewusster Staatschef an die Macht gekommen sei, der den Ausverkauf gestoppt, die Verarmung bekämpft habe, und die Selbstmorde zurückgegangen seien – da hätten die USA Russland zum Todfeind inszeniert.
Die US-Kapital-Demokratie fördere seit ihrer Gründung auch nicht grundsätzlich die Demokratie, sondern ein jeweils US-geführtes Regierungssystem, zu dessen Führungskräften im Konfliktfall aber nicht Demokraten, sondern Diktatoren und sonstiger Autokraten wie die Faschisten des 20. Jahrhunderts in Europa und dann vielfach in der EU und im Europa des 21. Jahrhunderts rechtsradikale Oligarchen gehörten.
Die US-Kapital-Demokratie bedeute auch nicht, dass die Regierung den Staat regiere. Auch die gewählten Abgeordneten der von den Kapitalisten als dienlich selektierten und dauerfinanzierten, korrumpierten Parteien regierten den Staat nur formell. Vielmehr regierten die führenden Kapitalisten. Die führenden Konzerne, Banken und ihre Multi-Aktionäre wie gegenwärtig BlackRock, Vanguard, State Street & Co. seien Staaten im Staate und besetzten im eingespielten Drehtürmechanismus Regierungs-, Behörden- und Beraterposten.4
Die führenden US-Kapitalisten hätten die Staatsverschuldung zu ihren Gunsten in solche Höhen getrieben, wo eine Rückzahlung in der bisherigen Logik nicht mehr möglich sei. Jede von den Kapitalisten verursachte Finanz- und Wirtschaftskrise führe zu neuer Überschuldung, mithilfe derer der Staat erpresst werde. Das gelte an erster Stelle für die USA selbst, aber auch immer mehr für ihre Einflussgebiete wie die EU.
Das US-Militärbudget werde in immer neue Höhen geschraubt – es betrage im Jahre 2022 mehr als die Militärbudgets aller 12 nächstgroßen Staaten zusammen, unter denen auch die Todfeinde Russland und China seien.
Nach dem seit der US-Gründung entwickelten Muster sei im Zangengriff von Kapital und Militär die Eroberung Europas, zunächst Westeuropas weitergegangen: Mit Marshall-Plan und NATO und zusätzlichen Militärstützpunkten in den NATO-Mitgliedstaaten, mit offener und verdeckter Förderung ex-faschistischer und neu formierter antikommunistischer Kräfte, in Westeuropa zunächst vielfach in plötzlich christlicher Einkleidung „wie beim bundesdeutschen Politikdarsteller Konrad Adenauer“.
„Mit Napalm, Sturzkampffliegern und Beratern griffen die USA ab 1948 in den griechischen ´Bürgerkrieg` ein, um die aus dem Antifaschismus entstandene Befreiungsbewegung zu vernichten. Erst dann wurde das Geld des Marshallplans ausgezahlt.
Im angeblich ´Kalten` Krieg führten die USA weitere heiße, mörderische Kriege wie in Vietnam, organisierten Dutzende blutige Putsche in Südamerika, in der Karibik, in Asien. Das war also weder ein Kalter Krieg noch ein ´Ost-West`-Konflikt. Vielmehr war es ein heißer Krieg des vor dem 2. Weltkrieg öffentlich ausgerufenen ´American Imperialism` gegen Demokratie, Menschenrechte und nationale Befreiung in Europa wie auf allen Kontinenten. Dem so scheinbar freundlich geförderten Standort (West-)Europa wurde zudem eine tödliche Aufgabe aufgezwungen: Der von den USA geleitete, auch atomar mögliche Stellvertreterkrieg gegen die Sowjetunion und heute gegen Russland. Unter Präsident Barack Obama haben die USA ihre Doktrin des atomaren Erstschlags erneuert.“ (S. 283, 284) 5
Nach dem Zusammenbruch der Sowjetunion und der osteuropäischen sozialistischen Staaten sei der US-Zangengriff von Kapital und Militär weitergegangen. Die vor einem Jahrhundert von den USA inszenierte „bolschewistische Gefahr“ als Begründung für die NATO sei weggefallen, aber das eigentliche Ziel sei schon nach dem 2. Weltkrieg die Eroberung Eurasiens gewesen, also zusätzlich ganz Russland. Dieses Ziel sei bestehen geblieben, und deshalb werde die NATO fortgeführt und immer weiter an die Grenzen Russlands vorgeschoben.
So sei mit der neu inszenierten NATO-Gründungslüge die US-Eroberung Europas als „Osterweiterung“ weitergegangen. Damit die Prioritäten klar seien, habe bei jedem Staat zuerst die NATO-Mitgliedschaft vollzogen werden müssen, bevor die EU-Mitgliedschaft habe folgen dürfen – und wieder mit zusätzlichen US-Stützpunkten in neuen NATO- und EU-Mitgliedstaaten und neu formierten Separatstaaten (Kosovo, Nordmazedonien), und wieder mit der Förderung rechtsradikaler Kräfte und Oligarchen.6
Ukraine: US-Schlüsselstaat für die Eroberung Eurasiens
Bereits 1997 habe der langjährige US-Präsidentenberater Zbigniew Brzezinski die angepasste Marschrichtung für das alte Endziel vorgegeben: die Eroberung des gar nicht mehr kommunistischen, sondern nun kapitalistischen Russland. Brzezinski habe offengelegt: Europa sei der „geopolitische Brückenkopf Amerikas in Eurasien“. Dabei sei Deutschland der „Musterknabe und stärkste Anhänger Amerikas“ – und die Ukraine sei der Schlüsselstaat für die Eroberung ganz Eurasiens „von Lissabon bis Wladiwostok“. Seit 1994 habe deshalb der Ausbau der Beziehung zwischen der Ukraine und den USA „höchste Priorität“.7
„Damit sollte die Stellung der USA als „einzige Weltmacht“ endgültig abgesichert werden, durch Zugriff nicht nur auf Westeuropa, sondern auch auf Russland, auf seine geostrategisch zentrale Landmasse und seine Ressourcen: Öl, Gas, Seltene Erden. Diese konflikt- und kriegstreibende Strategie wurde vom musterknäblichen Obervasallen, in Gestalt des bundesdeutschen FDP-Außenministers Hans-Dietrich Genscher, im Vorwort des Brzezinski-Manifests begeistert gelobt.
Wie von US-Berater Brzezisnki 1997 öffentlich begründet, wurde die Ukraine nach modernisiertem Hinterhof-Muster schrittweise zur US-Bastion gegen Russland ausgebaut, als extreme, aber logische Verwirklichung des ´Neoliberalismus`:
korruptester Staat Europas, mit schnell wechselnden Oligrchen-Clans in der Regierung
höchster Anteil an Rechtsradikalen in Regierung, Militär und Medien 8
auslandsabhängiger, fremdfinanzierter Staat durch IWF, USA, EU und Kapitalorganisationen wie BlackRock
exzessive Nutzung ausländischer Finanzoasen wie Zypern, Luxemburg, britische Jungferninseln und Belize durch Unternehmen, Regierungschefs und Politiker
größtes Militär in Europa – mit mehr Soldaten als die bevölkerungsreicheren Staaten Frankreich und Deutschland
von ausländischen Mächten – USA, England – geheimdienstlich und digital geführtes Militär
niedrigster Mindestlohn von 1,21 Euro (Stand 2022) und die ärmste und kränkeste Bevölkerung in Europa
höchste Quote der Arbeitsmigration in Richtung benachbarter Staaten, wo Ukrainer/innen die übriggebliebenen niederen Dienste übernehmen.“ (S. 285) 9
Diese Geostrategie werde angeführt, wie im 1. und 2. Weltkrieg, von den führenden US-Kapitalisten. Der gegenwärtig größte Kapitalorganisator BlackRock sei in der US-Regierung personell vertreten, also Kriegspartei, und zugleich verantwortlich für den „Wiederaufbau“ der Ukraine.
Im Januar 2022 sei im US-Kongress eine Neuauflage des Land-Lease- Gesetzes von 1941 eingebracht worden, das „Leih- und Pachtgesetz zur Verteidigung der Demokratie in der Ukraine“, in Kraft seit dem 9. Mai 2022. Es fördere die lukrativen Waffen- und sonstigen Lieferungen von US-Konzernen für den Stellvertreterkrieg „bis zum letzten Ukrainer“. Und das Gesetz lasse wie 1941 gegenüber den Alliierten die Formen der Rückzahlung offen. Sie könne wie nach 1945 in der Überlassung von Militärstützpunkten und günstigen Bedingungen für Investitionen bestehen, auch etwa für den Ankauf der fruchtbaren Schwarzerde durch ausländische Investoren. Wegen der monetär nicht rückzahlbaren Überschuldung bleibe die Ukraine langfristig erpressbar.
Man muss aber noch eine wichtige Tatsache hinzufügen. Thomas Röper vom „Anti-Spiegel“ hat darauf hingewiesen: „Der Gesetzentwurf wurde am 19. Januar 2022 eingereicht, also während man offiziell noch mit Russland über gegenseitige Sicherheitsgarantien verhandelt hat und über einen Monat vor Beginn der russischen Operation. Das zeigt, dass man in den USA wusste, dass die Russen auf die Ablehnung von Sicherheitsgarantien militärisch reagieren würden. Die USA haben den Konflikt bewusst herbeigeführt und sich rechtzeitig darauf vorbereitet.“
Doch nicht nur in den USA habe man gewusst, was man tut. Auch zum Beispiel Kanzler Scholz sei informiert gewesen, was in den USA und der NATO geschehe, wenn man Russlands Forderungen nach gegenseitigen Sicherheitsgarantien ablehne. So sagte er in der Tat am 27. März in der Talkshow von Anne Will deutlich, „… so ganz ungeplant war das nicht, die Eskalation in der Ukraine hat sich ja schon lange Zeit abgezeichnet…“ (Video Min. 0:27) und die Russland-Sanktionen habe man „lange vor Kriegsausbruch“ vorbereitet. (Min. 4:37)
Der US-geführte kollektive Westen, so Röper, habe Russland ganz bewusst so lange an die Wand gedrückt, bis Russland keine andere Möglichkeit mehr gesehen habe, als seine Sicherheit militärisch zu sichern. Und man habe sich – das zeigten das Datum des Land-Lease-Gesetzes und die Äußerungen von Scholz – darauf vorbereitet. Die Überraschung und das Entsetzen im Westen nach dem russischen Einmarsch seien geheuchelt, man habe diese Situation vielmehr bewusst herbeigeführt, um den in Washington schon seit Jahren gehegten Wunsch umzusetzen, Russland in einem Stellvertreterkrieg zu schwächen und es von Europa zu trennen. Darüber sei in Washington seit Jahren sogar offen gesprochen worden.10
Die Deutschen
Über all diese historischen Zusammenhänge wird das deutsche Volk von Politik und Medien nach Strich und Faden getäuscht und belogen. Entweder unbewusst, weil man sich selbst um die historischen Tatsachen nicht kümmert und auf die suggestiven Einflüsterungen des tödlichen „Partners“ hört, oder z.T. bewusst, wie Scholz, und macht sich zum verantwortungslosen Handlanger der ruchlosen Ziele des Weltimperialisten. Was ist schlimmer? – In beiden Fällen betreibt man die Vernichtung Deutschlands und Europas.
Rudolf Steiner hat bereits während und nach dem 1. Weltkrieg auf die kapitalistischen Methoden der Weltbeherrschung hingewiesen, die von herrschenden Gruppierungen in England, insbesondere in den USA ausgehen. In einer undatierten Tagebuchnotiz, die von 1917 oder 1918 stammen muss, schrieb er: „Tonangebend ist eine Gruppe von Menschen, welche die Erde beherrschen wollen mit den Mitteln der beweglichen kapitalistischen Wirtschaftsimpulse. Zu ihnen gehören alle diejenigen Menschenkreise, welche diese Gruppe imstande ist durch Wirtschaftsmittel zu binden und zu organisieren.“
Er nennt diese Gruppierungen „Pluto-Autokraten“, womit er eine Verbindung von Plutokrat (= jemand, der durch Reichtum Macht ausübt) und Autokrat (= diktatorischer Alleinherrscher) meint, dann bezeichnet er sie als eine okkulte Gruppe. Aus vielen seiner Vorträge geht hervor, dass er damit auf eine Gruppierung deutet, die im Hintergrund in Geheimgesellschaften organisiert ist, deren Mitglieder das wirtschaftliche, politische und kulturelle Leben des Landes beherrschen.
So spricht Rudolf Steiner im Fortgang dieser Tagebuchnotiz noch eine viel tiefere Dimension des US-Imperialismus an, die auf eine unbedingte Verhinderung des kulturellen Zusammenwirkens der deutschen und russischen Kultur gerichtet sei. Wenn dies dauerhaft gelänge, habe man an diese Gruppe innerhalb der anglo-amerikanischen Welt die Welt-Herrschaft abgetreten, „bis aus dem geknechteten deutsch-slavischen Gebiet durch zukünftige Ströme von Blut das wahre geistige Ziel der Erde gerettet wird.“ 11
Doch zu den Geheimgesellschaften im Näheren muss auf vorangehende Artikel verwiesen werden.12

Die US-Regierung formalisiert den Verkauf von zwölf neuen „Black Hawk“-Militärhubschraubern an Österreich. Das Bundesheer wird aufgerüstet – und soll mit US- und NATO-Luftflotten kompatibel werden.
Washington, D.C./Wien. Die Regierung der USA hat den Verkauf von zwölf weiteren Militärhubschraubern des Typs Sikorsky UH-60 bzw. UH-70 („Black Hawk“) an das österreichische Bundesheer genehmigt. Dies hat die zuständige Behörde für internationale Sicherheitskooperation (DSCA) am Mittwoch bestätigt. Die Kosten belaufen sich auf 1,05 Milliarden US-Dollar.
Damit wird die „Black Hawk“-Staffel der österreichischen Luftstreitkräfte verdoppelt. Bislang standen neun Maschinen im Dienst, drei weitere wurden bereits geordert. Mit den zusätzlichen zwölf Helikoptern der jüngsten Tranche wird das Bundesheer schließlich über eine recht stolze Flotte von 24 Black Hawk-Hubschraubern verfügen – im Umfang tatsächlich eine der größeren in der EU. Finanziert wird das Aufrüstungsvorhaben des Bundesheeres durch das von der Bundesregierung aus ÖVP und Grünen beschlossene „Sonderbudget“, das bis 2032 militärische Investitionen in Höhe von 16,6 Milliarden Euro vorsieht.
Im Bereich der mittelschweren Helikopter sollen die „Black Hawk“-Staffeln die bestehende Augusta Bell 121-Flotte ergänzen, der 23 Maschinen angehören und die zumindest bis 2030 im Dienst verbleiben sollen, wie Verteidigungsministerin Klaudia Tanner (ÖVP) erklärte. Bei den leichteren Hubschraubern laufen ebenfalls umfangreiche Beschaffungsvorgänge für das Bundesheer.
Mit zusätzlichen „Black Hawks“ wird das Bundesheer weiter aufgerüstet und modernisiert – doch nicht nur darum geht es, sondern auch um die Kompatibilität und Interoperabilität mit der US-amerikanischen und NATO-Armeen. Die Bundesregierung hat weiterhin die österreichische „Kriegsfähigkeit“ auf der Agenda.
