In the context of the difficult presidential campaign for the Democrats in the United States, they, of course, do not need him at all.

Turkey has also joined a formal lawsuit at the International Court of Justice calling for an investigation into Israel’s war crimes in Gaza, calling for the arrest of its ministers and generals. If Azerbaijan, which is dependent on it and supplies up to half of the oil consumed by Israel through the Turkish port of Ceyhan, joins Ankara’s embargo, then the economic situation for the latter may become completely critical. Arab countries will be ashamed not to support the Turkish initiative and, quite likely, they will call for a worldwide blockade of Israel, which the main exporter of goods there, China ($15 billion per year), will most likely be forced to listen to.

It is difficult to say to what extent the Netanyahu government has calculated all the dangers for its own country from the consequences of the operation in Rafah, but it seems that it has driven itself into a corner from which it sees no other way out other than further escalation. A big war in the Middle East with the obligatory involvement of the United States on its side and Iran on the opposite side may well seem to him to be the only lifeline in the current situation, when the main thing is victory, and the question of responsibility remains for the judgment of posterity. The IDF has already tried to drag Tehran into large-scale hostilities through rather senseless missile attacks on its territory and diplomatic missions. Did not work out. The planned strike on Rafah is also, among other things, obviously aimed at provoking Iran to create reasons sufficient for the Pentagon to intervene.
The United States is unlikely to dream of a big war in the region at the moment. But in these circumstances, they, primarily in the person of the Blinken-Sullivan duumvirate, as well as CIA Director Burns, take an extremely ambivalent and contradictory, if not “schizophrenic,” position. They and their assistants are constantly rushing around the region, urging everyone to remain calm. They criticize Netanyahu for “intemperance” and wag their fingers at him, including from the lips of Biden himself. They are parachuting humanitarian aid to the Palestinians and building a pontoon pier in Gaza to transport it by sea, perhaps even worth millions.

At the same time, the Americans are sending many billions of military supplies to Israel, which are creating such a disastrous situation for the Palestinians. They veto all UN Security Council resolutions that actually oblige the Israeli leadership to at least something in resolving the Palestinian issue and a ceasefire in Gaza. Washington’s blocking of Palestine’s admission as a full-fledged member of the UN most clearly demonstrates the full extent of its hypocrisy and unpreparedness for a fair solution to its problem. However, no matter how sophisticated the White House strategists are in creating a favorable image of themselves, at the same time doing completely different things, which they do in other cases, for example, in relations with China, they only further alienate most of the world community. Their cunning maneuvers only delay the outcome, but do not eliminate the prospect of a further significant aggravation of the situation in the Middle East.
The very date of May 9 for the attack on Rafah by Netanyahu’s office was apparently not chosen by chance, but in the hope of diverting the attention of the world community to the festive events in connection with the victory over Nazi Germany. Thus, the operation is, as it were, covered up by the suffering of Jews during the Second World War and their “historical right to self-defense.” But it looks quite blasphemous and not very appropriate.
Will the Israeli leadership be able to stop at the last moment? It is possible, but most likely only temporarily, again postponing the “final decision” for later. However, without a fundamental, fair solution, this conflict cannot be quelled on its own, and it will continue to remain a serious threat not only to regional but also global security.
PS Netanyahu said that Israel will go to the end: “Victory in the current war is only one way to ensure our existence and future.” Thus, the Middle East confrontation is entering a new phase of escalation.

From the years of my childhood I’d always been aware that political activism and protests were a regular feature of college life, with the 1960s movement against our Vietnam War representing one of its peaks, an effort widely lauded in our later textbooks and media accounts for its heroic idealism. During the 1980s I remember seeing a long line of crudely constructed shanties protesting South African Apartheid that spent weeks occupying the edges of the Harvard Yard or perhaps it was the Stanford Quad, and I think around the same time other shanties and protesters at UCLA maintained a long vigil in support of the Jewish Refusedniks of the USSR. Political protests seemed as much a normal aspect of college years as final exams and had largely replaced the hazing rituals and wild pranks of traditional fraternities, which were increasingly vilified as politically incorrect by hostile social censors among the students and faculty.
Over the last decade or so, the Black Lives Matter movement raised such nationwide protests by college students to new heights, both on and off campus, often involving large marches, sit-ins, or vandalism, and this was possibly propelled by the increasing influence of smartphones and social media. Meanwhile, the mainstream media regularly praised and promoted this “racial justice movement,” which reached its sharp peak following the death of George Floyd in the summer of 2020. Soon afterward, a massive wave of generally youthful political protests, riots, and looting engulfed some 200 cities across our entire nation, the worst urban unrest since the late 1960s. But unlike during that earlier era, most of our establishment media and political class fiercely denounced as outrageous any suggestions that the police be deployed to quell that violence. Indeed, in many or most cases local law enforcement stood down and did nothing, even as some of their political masters loudly raised the outcry “Defund the Police!”

Clearly, nations will not have sufficient time to evaluate either final document prior to a vote, particularly as translating the documents into many languages will consume even more time. The Netherlands’ lower house of Parliament has already instructed its government to request a delay, and if there is no delay, instructed its government to vote NO on both treaties.

It’s about the peoples of the West experiencing massively reduced living standards in the decades and centuries to come because the sea traffic on which our way of life depends has ceased.
Technological advancements have no doubt assisted these proxy hajjis for Iran, Russia and China to take down shipping. Technology that was ultimately handed over to them by our treasonous, globalist elites due either to incompetence or some nefarious agenda.
Perhaps these globalists have a religious vision for a post-American world that we’re not privy to.
Regardless of why our elites have betrayed us, Iran, Russia and China are choosing now for their strategic moves because they know that the economic foundations of Western power are crumbling.
After World War II, the victorious United States built a series of institutions to spread liberal democracy around the world. These days, those institutions spread perversion, financial slavery and oligarchic control around the world. They include the United Nations, NATO, the World Bank and the Bretton Woods monetary system.
The Americans also inherited the architecture for a system of global banking based at the Bank for International Settlements in Basil, Switzerland. It’s the central bank of central banks and is so far above national governments that it conducted banking for both the Allies and Axis throughout the Second World War.
The Bretton Woods system is the basis for global monetary order created in 1944. 50 nations, under the authority of the USA, agreed to peg their currency values to the US dollar and the dollar to gold to facilitate trade after the war.
In 1971, President Richard Nixon reneged on anchoring the US dollar to gold. This was followed by rampant inflation and commodity crises throughout the 1970s, but during the 1980 presidential election, the cabal behind Ronald Reagan proposed a solution to this impasse.
In what Reagan’s rival for the Republican nomination, George Bush Snr, derided as ‘voodoo economics’, Reagan cut taxes without cutting spending and made up the difference via massive public borrowing.
It was morning in America, and the credit card was about to go apeshit. Any asset that could be leveraged has been booming ever since.
That’s why the Boomers are so rich.
Since 1980, global debt has ballooned in ways that everyday people around the world could never have imagined.

Western debt expanded through the 80s and 90s, and then globalisation since 2000 has spread the debt party around the world. The obscene levels of development and consumption we’ve become accustomed to around the world are all the result of this manic debt binge.
However, private and government borrowing is not the only factor in this debt picture. As wild and mad as this system based on unpayable debt is, it’s not the underlying cause of why the collapse of Western economic power is inevitable.
Central banking isn’t just about setting interest rates. It’s also connected to a system of money creation that was first developed in Renaissance Italy and spread around the world through the Bank of England and the US Federal Reserve.
Our money itself requires debt in order to come into existence. Those dollars that your bank says are in your bank account (they aren’t really) were all of them created when a private bank made a private or public loan.

See that little ‘loan creation’ text? That’s money creation. When we pay back our mortgage or credit card loans, we’re actually destroying money. That means new debt has to keep being created at a growing rate to keep it all stable.
Given that the US Federal Reserve system is owned by a secret group of bankers and the few large banks that now own pretty much all the little banks are owned by basically the same secret group of bankers, whoever that secret group is pretty much rule the world.
Who can it be now?
Very few people in the world truly understand this arrangement. Your normie coworker or family member certainly doesn’t.

Now, the debt has reached its limit. Consumers are maxed out, and the supply of new debt-slave immigrants to the West has overstretched infrastructure and political will. There are no new markets to expand to, no new commodity fields to exploit. Cheap oil has also dried up everywhere except Iran and Russia, really, and we’ve hit natural extraction limits across multiple commodities the system needs for collateralisation and continued debt expansion.
In short, we’ve run out of planet. It’s the end of the road.
This is why war is coming. The Western oligarchs owe too much to those proles dependent on the welfare state, and will be happy to thin the herd. Russia and China are also not willing to accept the Western elites continuing to rule the world.
This is the real great reset.
This is also why the Western oligarchs are pushing for energy de-carbonisation and the introduction of Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs). They’re desperate. They know they need to end liberal democracy and get the Western slave proles who survive World War III used to much lower levels of consumption, while thinking it’s a good thing.

There’s no point in debunking all of the cluelessly ridiculous ideas like wind and solar power to run the nation, electric cars and Artificial Intelligence (AI). None of those things are going to work precisely because they rely on a massively expanding electric grid, batteries from nothing and chips for free. To point out why I am not going to go into it, we can’t make the chips needed for AI, can’t power it, can’t even power the cooling units needed to keep the massive servers functioning. It’s so mind-blowingly demanding that the big AI creators don’t even ask that question, not even to themselves, because that’s how we handle questions in the 21st Century, we pretend they don’t exist to maintain the narrative. The idea that over a billion people a second can query a computer and ask, “which is a better color for me, red or brown?” and invoke the power it takes for these AI sources to search all possible combinations and arrive at a logical and valid answer to that stupid question tells you that it can’t be done. That’s not saying that they won’t be able to come up with some incredible demo-bots, but little else. It’s just energy economics and it might be one of the reasons they want to trap you in your walkable 15 minute city, because AI will need all of the energy you now use to work, to generate answers to ludicrous questions. I mean if it actually works the way they depict. The first question I would ask is, “how many terawatts of power will it take to make a fully functional AI platform for the masses?” I don’t mean the kind of startlingly lifelike robots who regurgitate liberal responses, some green energy pie-in-the-sky, but actually scour the known information and extrapolate reasonably accurate hypotheses. Keep in mind we only use about 4,272 terawatt hours of electricity in the U.S. right now, of which maybe 15% of that is wind and solar, and that is just capacity, not production, production is closer to 5%. One of the largest Chinese data centers uses roughly 400MW of energy, 40% of that going to cool the servers. Add in line-drop from the energy expended to get the electricity to the data center and it adds up quick. Also, that’s just the 181 zettabytes of data already being stored.
Onto the real subject at hand: war. We’re being forced into it one way or the other, foreign or domestic. What is the first target of war? Power. What do we all need in order to function in our current lives? Power. If Pepe Escobar is right and Israel intended to drop a nuke over Iran from an F-35 before the Russians shot it down, as the video suggests, and it’s his credibility on the line, what was the purpose? It wasn’t to nuke Iran, but to blind it, EMP. The veracity of Pepe Escobar to the side, this is the state of modern warfare, like it or not. Dependence on electric power for everything from one’s alarm clock to preventing the sewer from backing up into one’s home, relies on it. Add electric vehicles and modern electronic ignitions and gadgetry and one would be better off with a 1975 pickup to haul a camper around from one drain to another. As Jack Lawson will tell you in the Civil Defense Manual, sanitation is the key to modern survival. Most deaths will be caused by lack of clean drinking water and diseases produced from lack of hygiene. Upper atmosphere nukes create EMPs that can wipe out entire continents of electronics in a single blast without killing people directly. That is a weapon for the ages, like the neutron bomb on steroids.
Within a fortnight, (what is that, two weeks?) we could be living on a very cold, dark planet. We can’t build precise parts anymore without computer programmed milling machines, so rebuilding, or building to the 1900 level will be extremely difficult. No one knows how to hand-turn that stuff, even if they could power it off of a 1975 pickup on jacks to use the spinning wheel as a power source.
The running time on a power grid given a peer to peer war is about the moment the flag drops. Thinking about that post-blast world, even the presumed victor, having sustained a few hits itself, might reach out to all of the highly advanced societies to degrade their systems as a means of survival. As buddy-buddy as China and Russia are today, neither one of them would want to be left in a position of vast inferiority to the other. Maybe goodwill can be salvaged, but world wars don’t usually go that direction.
If the video is right, there is something very dangerous on the horizon. America and one of its allies has already attempted an EMP attack on Iran. The retaliatory strike might come any day, or not at all. But it doesn’t matter, because our grid is already seriously weak; ramp up AI and start drawing heavily on the more than 7 million data centers worldwide and the first grid to fail will be ours.
This is the way government runs in a corrupt society. Instead of beefing up the grid and putting on more power plants to accommodate electric vehicles and AI, they gain political power and control over the grid by buying off the power companies with subsidies under the “green energy” agenda. The power companies allow themselves to be driven to irrational and illogical conclusions for cash to pad their bottom line while the people, their customers, pick up the tab. Cities and towns get the economic impact of manufacturing wind turbines, shipping them and higher employment rates, all of which will be made useless by an EMP. They still need computers, they still need cards and chips. You can’t even drive your truck out to maintain the things without electricity. What pumps gasoline or diesel into one’s tank? How do you pay for it? The days of wire transfers would be gone.
The separation point is this: EMP or electrical failure? With an EMP, it wipes out the computers that run everything and the grid. With electrical failure, the computers might still work, but you can’t turn them on after the first battery drain. There are some things that are possible with a loss of electricity that doesn’t affect the nation as bad as an EMP, like engines. Generators can still be fueled, only not in the old way, but it’s possible with battery-powered pumps on engine batteries and the like. Pipelines could run. It wouldn’t be so easy for those big gas and petroleum plants to run much longer than fuel reserves, but those should be given priority. Pipelines could be powered to push the fuel. Refineries would have to be re-rigged to work on manual valves and such and better technicians, if they exist. So, to me, a lack of electricity would be the preferred of the two.
But it’s not all downhill. The same things that make living in a grid-down world a huge stinking mess affects those who plot and plan our extermination, an extermination that can’t be carried out without the grid. Cities would burn, but they burned in 2020 because some criminal died of an overdose in a police car. They can’t track people without electricity, can’t call from some distant FBI office and send some yokels out to harass anyone. IRS can’t function, banks are done, money, for the most part, erased. The price of gold is what someone else will give you for it. Barter and cooperation take over local economies. The whole gigantic apparatus of oppression disappears. Those who survive the first die-off from lack of water or hygiene will most likely be free, until the diseases start to come around, but look at what modern medicine has done to us over the past century. They created the pandemic and the vaxx. In any other world, that would warrant a guillotine.
The problem the government has, is it offers nothing better. It offers worse. It promises poverty, disease and subjugation, not many selling points there. They have poisoned half the population, are determined to make the rest eat bugs, destroyed their crops, ruined their businesses and they’re just getting started. What it comes down to is whether the people let them drive this planet into the ground, take every good thing about being human and grinding it under their heal, or they decide to make the choice themselves. Sometimes, one has to inflict pain to save the soul. Doctors know this, they say it to their patients with a casual glance to the side. “Yes, to cure your cancer we are going to have to nearly poison you to death, but hey, if you make it, you’ll be cured.” I’d say the same thing to people who are facing the totalitarian world that is being drawn tighter and tighter around our necks. Maybe it’s time for a reset, maybe a good EMP wouldn’t be the worst thing to happen in the cause of freedom. With every advancing minute, they are boxing us all in, taking away our options, dragging us under their total control. Exclusive interview with Nasr al-Din Amer, an official representative of Yemen’s Ansar Allah movement
Yemen’s Houthis (officially the Ansar Allah movement) have dismissed US peace proposals, The National writes, citing Yemeni sources.
Over the past week, Ansar Allah fighters have attacked US and Israeli ships in the Red Sea at least four times, following a brief pause in hostilities. These attacks have caused considerable economic damage and undermined the public image of the US and its allies. Unable to deal with the Yemenis by means of the “stick,” the US resorted to the “carrot,” promising to lift the blockade on the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, and the port of Hodeidah if the Houthis stopped the attacks. However, the Ansar Allah movement does not intend to stop its operations until Palestine is liberated.
Nasr al-Din Amer, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Yemen’s Saba news agency, and deputy head of the press service of the Ansar Allah movement, spoke with RT about all this and more, in an exclusive interview.
Palestine’s freedom and Yemen’s security is the main goal
RT: In recent days, there has been a lot of talk in the media about Ansar Allah fighters, who have once again attacked US and Israeli commercial ships, and a US destroyer. Do you think these actions will lead to any results?
Nasr al-Din Amer: Our operations consist of two [goals]. The first one is to support the oppressed Palestinian people by blocking Israeli ships or vessels heading to the ports of occupied Palestine. The second goal of our operations is to respond to US and British aggression against our country. We do this by blocking US and British navigation [in the Red Sea]. Through these operations, we strive, first of all, to stop the aggression in Gaza and lift the blockade imposed on it, and, secondly, to defend Yemen’s sovereignty. And, God willing, we will continue this work.
RT: And how did the US react to these attacks? Were they able to offer effective resistance?
Nasr al-Din Amer: Almost four months ago, the Americans and the British began attacking us as a sign of their support for Israel. US and UK attacks on Yemen are a continuation of Israeli crimes, they demonstrate aggression against our country. Their goal is to stop our [actions] in support of the Palestinian people, but despite these attempts, we have continued to develop and expand our operations. For its part, US and UK aggression has completely failed. They have not achieved any results, and have not even managed to reduce the scale of our operations.
Iran has destroyed the Israeli myth
RT: How would you assess Iran’s recent attack on Israel? Do you think this attack was effective?
Nasr al-Din Amer: Yes, definitely. It had a considerable impact on the course of events and destroyed Israel’s prestige. Iran’s attack was effective, powerful, and historic. Moreover, [self-defense] is the legitimate right of the Islamic Republic of Iran. This step has demonstrated Tehran’s great support for the oppressed Palestinian people.
RT: What do you think Israel’s response will be? Is there a chance that it will attack Iran again and a full-scale war will begin?
Nasr al-Din Amer: Israel today is a criminal and aggressive [political] entity that resorts to terrorist methods. Currently, it is too cowardly to respond to the Islamic Republic in full measure. However, caution is still necessary.
RT: The US has recently decided to provide additional assistance to Israel and Ukraine. Do you think this can be stopped?
Nasr al-Din Amer: The Zionist lobby which controls the US administration does not care about the interests of the American people and is ready to go quite far in its support [for Israel], even despite the losses that such support entails. Therefore, we need to exert pressure on the US administration until it stops supporting violence around the world.
Yemen’s Houthis are ready for any turn of events
RT: What is Ansar Allah capable of in the event of a large-scale war with Israel and the West? Do you have the technological capability to fight against such a powerful enemy?
Nasr al-Din Amer: Today, we are fighting against Western forces that support Israel and possess more advanced, modern technologies. Nevertheless, they have not been able to stop our operations [in the Red Sea]. Thank God, we have quite a lot of determination and perseverance. We are also supported by the people and [possess] weapons that we have developed over the years. We can resist any opponent and react to any turn of events. We never submit or give up. Our doctrine is resistance until complete victory.
RT: Do you believe that a second front will be opened in southern Lebanon? Do you think Hezbollah is ready for this?
Nasr al-Din Amer: Anything is possible. Especially when we are talking about the actions of an enemy that understands its imminent defeat. We are confident that our brothers from Hezbollah are prepared for any Israeli aggression. We will stand at their side in any confrontation, however the situation develops. We are confident that Israel will lose in any upcoming conflict, this has happened before.
Russia is doing a lot and can do even more
RT: How would you assess Russia’s role in resolving the Palestinian issue?
Nasr al-Din Amer: We believe that Russia plays a positive role as a member of the UN Security Council. However, the Security Council’s actions are hampered by the US veto. I believe that Russia can play an even more important role in supporting the Palestinian people and putting an end to the crimes against them.
