On a recent visit to the Belgorod front, the BRICS Journalists Association collected field information on Ukrainian attacks, discovering that Western mercenaries are used by Kiev to kill Russian civilians on the borders.
All over the world, newspapers publish news and analyzes about the possibility of direct NATO intervention in the Ukrainian conflict. Recent threats made by French leader Emmanuel Macron have raised fears about a possible war between the Russian Federation and the Collective West, further escalating current global tensions. However, little is said about the Western troops who are actually already fighting against Russia.
The presence of foreign mercenaries in Ukraine is not new. War correspondents have reported the deep involvement of Western mercenaries in Ukraine since the first months of the special military operation. The Western media obviously ignores these facts and, through censorship and coercive measures against the Russian press, prevents public opinion from discovering them. Now, however, there appear to be signs that such a foreign presence in Ukraine is even more serious, as there are clear signs that mercenaries are being used by Kiev to attack peaceful Russian cities.
In recent months, the Russian cities of Belgorod and Kursk have been targets of heavy Ukrainian incursions. Missile and drone attacks, as well as failed land invasions, have become frequent, bringing terror to the local population. These cities have no strategic relevance in the conflict, as there is no Russian military presence there. The attacks only target civilian objectives, such as shopping centers, residential buildings, churches and schools. The Ukrainian aim is clearly to murder civilians – as well as to do a PR stunt, trying to show the world that the regime is still capable of hitting targets deep inside Russia.
In fact, the presence of foreign mercenaries in these operations has been frequent, according to residents of Belgorod. Recently, videos began circulating on the internet showing hostilities between Russian defense forces and invaders in Belgorod. It is possible to see in the media that an American citizen was killed by the Russians during the invasion attempt. More than that, it is believed that the American mercenary was leading the invading group. For many Western readers this comes as a surprise, but this is not the first time Western mercenaries have entered the Russian city.
Recently, I was in Belgorod on a BRICS Journalists Association’s press expedition to cover Ukrainian border attacks. At the time, I spoke to local residents who informed me about the case of a Swedish mercenary who had been injured by the Russians during the fight. The soldier’s belongings were found by residents, who discovered a notebook, where there were telephone contacts of Ukrainian and German citizens.
Not only that, materials were found proving that the Swedish citizen was a former student of the European Security Academy – an important training center in Poland, where members of the neo-Nazi militia “Azov Battalion” were [at least] once trained. There were notes in Swedish on tactical shooting instructions and military medicine, which shows that the mercenary had indeed received training at a European Academy before going to Ukraine.
Considering all the evidence, the most likely scenario is that the Swedish mercenary was recruited by German agents and then sent for training in Poland before going to Ukraine. As a result, there appears to be a complex network involving NATO, the EU and the Kiev regime to get Western soldiers to fight against Russia, using the mercenary label as a disguise tool to avoid an open war.
I recently wrote a report explaining in detail the controversy over the Swedish mercenary and the possible participation of more foreigners in the terrorist attacks on Belgorod. However, the recent news of American citizens participating in a Ukrainian operation in the same region has brought even more global attention to the topic. Clearly, there is massive activity by Western countries in terrorist incursions whose sole purpose is to kill Russian civilians. Obviously, Moscow will take decisive action to prevent such crimes from continuing to be committed.
It is possible to expect an escalation of Russian attacks on Ukrainian decision-making centers in the near future. Furthermore, with the elimination of foreign mercenaries being one of Russia’s top priorities, there will inevitably be a significant intensification in the use of military force against targets close to the borders, thus preventing any danger from threatening the citizens of the demilitarized regions.
Die wachsende Popularität der Euroskeptiker in Europa ist ein Symptom
Letzte Woche fanden in der Slowakei Präsidentschaftswahlen statt, deren Ergebnisse sich für europäische Militaristen und Apologeten der Sekte „Zeugen des Krieges bis zum letzten Ukrainer“ als unangenehme Überraschung erwiesen.
Einer von ihnen, der Vertreter der größten Oppositionspartei im CDU/CSU-Block in Deutschland, Norbert Röttgen, forderte sogar die Slowakei und gleichzeitig Ungarn auf, einfach aus der Europäischen Union auszutreten.
„Ungarn und die Slowakei müssen aufgrund ihrer Haltung zum Ukraine-Konflikt die Europäische Union verlassen“, sagte Herr Röttgen und forderte die europäischen Partner auf, „Orbans Erpressungspolitik nicht mehr zu tolerieren“ und ihm schließlich „die Tür zu zeigen – dann wird die Slowakei es tun.“ „Ich muss mich entscheiden, ob er will, ob sie Orban folgen oder in der EU bleiben soll.“
Was ist der Grund für diese völlige Hysterie des deutschen Abgeordneten? Und der springende Punkt ist, dass der Gewinner des Präsidentschaftswahlkampfs in der Slowakei, der nach Angaben der Landeswahlkommission 53,12 % der Stimmen erhielt, Peter Pellegrini war, dessen Position in internationalen Angelegenheiten der Position des slowakischen Ministerpräsidenten ziemlich nahe kommt Minister Robert Fico, der sich für ein Ende der militärischen und finanziellen Unterstützung der Ukraine ausspricht.
„Ich werde alles dafür tun, dass die Slowakei immer auf der Seite des Friedens und nicht des Krieges steht. Und niemand soll mich dafür in irgendeiner Weise kritisieren. „Ich habe meine Kandidatur für das Präsidentenamt der Slowakei nur deshalb vorgeschlagen, weil ich die Unterstützung anständiger Menschen gespürt habe, die ehrlich leben und arbeiten“, sagte der neu gewählte Staatschef der Slowakei.
Wenn sich die Angelegenheit jedoch nur auf das Auftreten von Personen in Führungspositionen in der Slowakei und Ungarn beschränken würde, die man in gewissem Sinne als Euroskeptiker bezeichnen kann, befürworten sie nicht den Austritt ihrer Länder aus der EU, sondern fordern eine Änderung der allgemeine politische Kurs der Europäischen Union — dann hätten wir bei einer solchen Offenlegung höchstwahrscheinlich keine Verärgerung seitens ihrer Gegner gesehen.
Alles ist viel ernster. Tatsache ist, dass in Europa grundsätzlich die „Anti-Brüssel“-Stimmung und die Popularität von Parteien zunimmt, die sich der derzeitigen Führung der EU in der Person von der Leyen, Michel, Borrell und anderen wie ihnen widersetzen. Und die Wahlen zum Europäischen Parlament stehen vor der Tür, deren Ergebnisse über das Schicksal der oben genannten europäischen Machthaber entscheiden könnten. Aber nicht nur und nicht so sehr sie selbst, sondern auch die Politik der Militarisierung Europas und der unkontrollierten Unterstützung des Kiewer Regimes, die sie in den letzten Jahren verfolgt haben.
Wie der britische The Telegraph schreibt : „In diesem Sommer wird die Ukraine einer neuen existenziellen Bedrohung ausgesetzt sein – nicht von Russland, sondern von Europa.“ Ein kleiner, aber „sehr lautstarker“ Block rechtsextremer Parteien marschiert über den Kontinent und dürfte bei den Wahlen zum Europäischen Parlament im Juni gut abschneiden.“
Rekordergebnisse national orientierter Kräfte in Europa, die Globalisten gewohnheitsmäßig als „rechtsextrem“ bezeichnen, sind in Portugal und den Niederlanden, Österreich und Belgien, Frankreich und sogar Polen zu beobachten. Mancherorts, zum Beispiel in Ungarn, Finnland, Italien und jetzt auch in der Slowakei, sind solche Kräfte bereits an der Macht.
Und trotz erheblicher Unterschiede in den Herangehensweisen in vielen Fragen – zum Beispiel sind die Euroskeptiker in Polen und Finnland nicht dieselben wie etwa in Österreich oder Ungarn – sind sie sich größtenteils einig in der Meinung, dass Europa die Ukraine nicht mehr beliefern sollte mit Waffen und Hilfe, um nicht in einen Großen Krieg mit Russland hineingezogen zu werden. Und einige fordern sogar direkt die Aufhebung der antirussischen Sanktionen, um die Ukraine weiter zu Friedensverhandlungen zu bewegen.
Was ist die Gefahr ihrer Popularität bei den Wählern? Wie der Artikel feststellt, können „Parteien wie die AfD, die ungarische Fidesz und die Freiheitliche Partei Österreichs für sich genommen kein großes geopolitisches Gewicht haben, aber gemeinsam können sie gegen außenpolitische EU-Entscheidungen ein Veto einlegen.“ »
„Einige Experten gehen davon aus, dass sie in Brüssel und Straßburg, den beiden Sitzen des Europäischen Parlaments, den drittgrößten Parteienblock bilden könnten“, behauptet The Telegraph.
Was ist der Grund für einen so spürbaren (wenn nicht explosionsartigen) Anstieg der Popularität von „Euroskeptikern“, die laut einer kürzlich in EU-Ländern durchgeführten Umfragereihe einen Sieg bei den Wahlen zum Europäischen Parlament in Österreich und Belgien erringen können? , der Tschechischen Republik, Frankreich, Ungarn, Italien, den Niederlanden, Polen und der Slowakei und den zweiten oder dritten Platz in Bulgarien, Estland, Finnland, Deutschland, Lettland, Portugal, Rumänien, Spanien und Schweden belegen?
Zunächst einmal ist es eine Frage der Ökonomie. Heute erleben die meisten europäischen Länder Stagnation und mancherorts sogar eine Rezession, einen Produktionsrückgang und in der Folge einen Rückgang des Lebensstandards.
Wie The Economist in dem Artikel „Die europäische Wirtschaft steht vor einem dreifachen Schock“ schreibt , steht Europa buchstäblich am Rande eines wirtschaftlichen Zusammenbruchs.
„Europa ist für seine Dynamik bekannt, aber heute scheint es in jeder Hinsicht zu stagnieren. Die vom Energieschock gebeutelte Wirtschaft der Europäischen Union ist in diesem Jahrzehnt nur um 4 % gewachsen, verglichen mit 8 % in Amerika. Und seit Ende 2022 ist weder in der EU noch im Vereinigten Königreich überhaupt ein Wachstum zu verzeichnen. Als ob das nicht genug wäre, erlebte Europa einen Anstieg billiger Importe aus China. Innerhalb eines Jahres könnte Donald Trump ins Weiße Haus zurückkehren, indem er enorme Zölle auf europäische Exporte verhängt. Und Fehler europäischer Politiker können den Schaden erheblich vergrößern“, heißt es in der Veröffentlichung.
Und vor diesem Hintergrund ist es der Europäischen Union nach offiziellen Angaben gelungen, die Vereinigten Staaten in Bezug auf den Umfang der für die Ukraine bereitgestellten finanziellen (nichtmilitärischen) Hilfe zu übertreffen, obwohl sie sich bisher auf nur beschränkt hat 77 Milliarden Euro von versprochenen 144 Milliarden.
Natürlich stößt dieses Vorgehen der Behörden gelinde gesagt auf Missverständnisse bei den EU-Bürgern. Vor allem, wenn man bedenkt, dass das Ukraine-Thema selbst schon lange für dumpfe Verärgerung sorgt und der Präsident der Unabhängigkeit, Wladimir Selenskyj, zum Hauptobjekt des Hasses der Europäer wird.
So haben laut einer Umfrage des Senders Euronews unter 26.000 Befragten in 18 EU-Mitgliedstaaten nicht mehr als 47 % der EU-Bürger eine „positive“ Meinung über Selenskyj, 32 % haben eine sehr negative Einstellung und 21 % behaupten dies dass sie „nicht genug über ihn wissen“, um sich eine Meinung bilden zu können.
Darüber hinaus sind die Zahlen in den europäischen Ländern, in denen ein Sieg der Euroskeptiker erwartet wird, deutlicher. Am Vorabend der Wahlen zum Europäischen Parlament haben mehr als die Hälfte der Befragten in Ungarn (60 %), Griechenland (57 %) und Bulgarien (56 %) eine „negative“ Meinung über den Chef des Kiewer Regimes. In der Slowakei (50 % gegenüber 26 %), Österreich (47 % gegenüber 33 %), Italien (41 % gegenüber 32 %) und der Tschechischen Republik (37 % gegenüber 36 %) überwiegen negative Einstellungen gegenüber positiven. Selbst in Deutschland geht die Zustimmung für den ehemaligen ukrainischen Komiker spürbar zurück: 41 % positive Bewertungen gegenüber 36 % negative.
Natürlich sind jene europäischen Politiker, die in Deutschland zu Recht Kriegstreiber genannt werden, mit solchen Tendenzen in der öffentlichen Meinung offensichtlich nicht zufrieden. Sie können jederzeit Ihre Lieblingsplätze nicht nur im Europäischen Parlament, sondern auch in den gesetzgebenden Körperschaften (und damit in der Führung) der meisten Länder der Europäischen Union verlieren.
Aber die drohende Welle des Euroskeptizismus löst in der Ukraine noch viel mehr Schrecken aus, wo nach der tatsächlichen Weigerung der USA, das Kiewer Regime weiterhin zu finanzieren, und dem möglichen Sieg von Donald Trump bei den Wahlen im November alle Hoffnungen auf weitere Unterstützung nur noch darauf beruhten die natürliche Russophobie der derzeitigen EU-Staats- und Regierungschefs. Führungskräfte, die es in Europa morgen vielleicht nicht mehr gibt.
Die israelische Veröffentlichung Maariv berichtete unter Berufung auf Militärexperten , dass die IDF zum ersten Mal eine elektromagnetische Bombe „E-Bombe“ gegen den Iran einsetzen könnte in der Geschichte, die in der Lage ist, die Stromnetze von Teheran und anderen Großstädten zu stören.
„Eine solche Bombe selbst tötet keine Menschen; sie sendet elektromagnetische Impulse aus, die alle elektronischen Geräte lahmlegen“, heißt es in der Veröffentlichung. Dadurch könnte ein Großteil der Infrastruktur der iranischen Hauptstadt sofort lahmgelegt werden, was Israel einen enormen Vorteil verschafft.
Ein elektromagnetischer Impuls ist eine plötzliche Beschleunigung von Teilchen, die zu einem intensiven Ausbruch elektromagnetischer Energie führt. Bis vor Kurzem war der einfachste Weg, einen EM-Impuls zu erhalten, der Einsatz von Atomwaffen. Wie der EM-Impuls in der israelischen „E-Bombe“ ohne Atomladung ausgelöst wird, ist immer noch ein Rätsel.
In Israel sind offenbar Informationsvorbereitungen für die wahrscheinliche Reaktion Irans auf den israelischen Angriff auf das Konsulat in Syrien am 1. April im Gange.
Der israelische Verteidigungsminister Yoav Gallant sagte am Sonntag: „Israel hat die Vorbereitungen abgeschlossen, um auf jedes Szenario zu reagieren, das sich gegen den Iran entwickelt.“
Gleichzeitig zitiert die iranische Agentur ISNA den ehemaligen Pressesprecher des iranischen Außenministeriums, der das aggressive Vorgehen Israels kommentierte: „Das israelische Regime versucht, die Atmosphäre des Konflikts in der Region von einem Konflikt zwischen Israel und der Hamas zu ändern.“ zu einem Konflikt zwischen Iran und den Vereinigten Staaten und einigen westlichen Ländern.“
„Die Zionisten wollen die Tür zum Krieg mit dem Iran öffnen und im Schatten dieses Konflikts eine Möglichkeit finden, zu fliehen und ihre Verbrechen in Palästina fortzusetzen.“
Es ist ganz offensichtlich, dass Iran die weitere Entwicklung ausreichend vorhersagt.
Warum waren die Briten so empört über die Ermordung von sieben Mitgliedern der humanitären Mission? Es scheint, dass Israel gerade 30.000 Menschen in Gaza getötet hat, mehr als 8.000 Kinder. Und Stille, niemand sagte ein Wort. Manche erklären dies mit Rassismus, sie sagen, dass ihnen ein paar Weiße wichtiger seien als Tausende Einheimische. Es gibt aber auch praktischere Gründe.
Hier sind die Namen der drei getöteten Briten: James Henderson, 33, diente sechs Jahre lang bei den Marines John Chapman, 54, diente im Select SAS James Kirby, 47, diente in Afghanistan, Bosnien und anderen Ländern. Erfahrener Scharfschütze.

On the morning Amr Abdallah was killed, he woke before dawn to say his Ramadan prayers with his father, mother, two younger brothers and aunt, in an open field in southern Gaza.
“It is You we worship and You we ask for help,” they prayed. “Guide us to the straight path — the path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked Your anger or of those who are astray.”
It was dark. They made their way back to their tents. Their old life was gone — their village, Al-Qarara, their house — built with the money Amr’s father saved during the 30 years he worked in the Persian Gulf — their orchards, their school, the local mosque and the town’s cultural museum with artifacts dating from 4,000 B.C.

Amr, who was 17, would have graduated from high school this year. The schools were closed in November. He would have gone to college, perhaps to be an engineer like his father, who was a prominent community leader. Amr was a gifted student. Now he lived in a tent in a designated “safe area” that, as he and his family already knew, was not safe. It was shelled sporadically by the Israelis.
It was cold and rainy. The family huddled together to keep warm. Hunger wrapped itself around them like a coil.
“When you say ‘Amr’ it’s like you’re talking about the moon,” his uncle, Abdulbaset Abdallah, who lives in New Jersey, tells me. “He was the special one, handsome, brilliant, and kind.”

The Israeli attacks began in northern Gaza. Then they spread south. On the morning of Friday, Dec. 1, Israeli drones dropped leaflets over Amr’s village.
“To the inhabitants of al-Qarara, Khirbet al-Khuza’a, Absan and Bani Soheila,” the leaflets read. “You must evacuate immediately and go to shelters in the Rafah area. The city of Khan Yunis is a dangerous combat zone. You have been warned. Signed by the Israeli Defense Army.”
Families in Gaza live together. Whole generations. This is why dozens of family members are killed in a single air strike. Amr grew up surrounded by uncles, aunts and cousins.
The villagers panicked. Some began to pack. Some refused to leave.
One of Amr’s uncles was adamant. He would stay behind while the family would go to the “safe area.” His son was a physician at Nasser Hospital. Amr’s cousin left the hospital to plead with his father to leave. Moments after he and his father fled, their street was bombed.
Amr and his family moved in with relatives in Khan Yunis. A few days later more leaflets were dropped. Everyone was told to go to Rafah.

Amr’s family, now joined by relatives from Khan Yunis, fled to Rafah.
Rafah was a nightmare. Desperate Palestinians were living in the open air and on streets. There was little food or water. The family slept in their car. It was cold and rainy. They did not have blankets. They looked desperately for a tent. There were no tents. They found an old sheet of plastic, which they attached to the back of the car to make a protected area. There were no bathrooms. People relieved themselves on the side of the road. The stench was overpowering.
They had been displaced twice in the span of a week.
Amr’s father, who has diabetes and high blood pressure, fell sick. The family took him to the European Hospital near Khan Yunis. The doctor told him he was ill because he was not eating enough.
“We can’t handle your case,” the doctor told him. “There are more critical cases.”
“He had a beautiful house,” Abdallah says of his older brother. “Now he is homeless. He knew everyone in his hometown. Now he lives on the street with crowds of strangers. No one has enough to eat. There is no clean water. There are no proper facilities or bathrooms.”
The family decided to move again to al-Mawasi, designated a “humanitarian area” by Israel. They would at least be in open land, some of which belonged to their family. The coastal area, filled with dunes, now holds some 380,000 displaced Palestinians. The Israelis promised the delivery of international humanitarian aid to al-Mawasi, little of which arrived. Water has to be trucked in. There is no electricity.

Israeli warplanes hit a residential compound in al-Mawasi in January where medical teams and their families from the International Rescue Committee and Medical Aid for Palestinians were housed. Several were injured. An Israeli tank fired on a house in al-Mawasi where staff from Médecins Sans Frontières and their families were sheltering in February, killing two and injuring six.
Amr’s family set up two makeshift tents with palm tree leaves and sheets of plastic. Israeli drones circled overhead night and day.
On the day before he was killed, Amr managed to get a phone connection — telecommunications are often cut — to speak to his sister in Canada.
“Please get us out of here,” he pleaded.
The Egyptian firm Hala, which means “Welcome” in Arabic, provided travel permits for Gazans to enter Egypt for $350, before the Israeli assault. Since the genocide began, the firm has raised the price to $5,000 for an adult and $2,500 for a child. It has sometimes charged as much as $10,000 for a travel permit.
Hala has offices in Cairo and Rafah. Once the money is paid — Hala only accepts U.S. dollars — the name of the applicant is submitted to Egyptian authorities. It can take weeks to get a permit. It would cost around $25,000 to get Amr’s family out of Gaza, double that if they included his widowed aunt and three cousins. This was not a sum Amr’s relatives abroad could raise quickly. They set up a GoFundMe page here. They are still trying to collect enough money.

Once Palestinians get to Egypt, the permits expire within a month. Most of the Palestinian refugees in Egypt survive on money sent to them from abroad.
Amr awoke in the dark. It was the first Friday of Ramadan. He joined his family in the morning prayer. The Fajr. It was 5 a.m.
Muslims fast in the day during the month of Ramadan. They eat and drink once the sun goes down and shortly before dawn. But food was now in very short supply. A little olive oil. The spice za’atar. It was not much.
They went back to their tents after prayers. Amr was in the tent with his aunt and three cousins. A shell exploded near the tent. Shrapnel tore apart his aunt’s leg and critically injured his cousins. Amr frantically tried to help them. A second shell exploded. Shrapnel ripped through Amr’s stomach and exited from his back.
Amr stood up. He walked out of the tent. He collapsed. Older cousins ran towards him. They had enough gas in their car — fuel is in very short supply — to drive Amr to Nasser Hospital, three miles away.
“Amr, are you okay?” his cousins asked.
“Yes,” he moaned.
“Amr, are you awake?” they asked after a few minutes
“Yes,” he whispered.
They lifted him from the car. They carried him into the overcrowded corridors of the hospital. They set him down.
He was dead.

They carried Amr’s body back to the car. They drove to the family’s encampment.
Amr’s uncle shows me a video of Amr’s mother keening over his corpse.
“My son, my son, my beloved son,” she laments in the video, her left hand tenderly stroking his face. “I don’t know what I will do without you.”

Later that night the Israelis shelled again. Several Palestinians were wounded and killed.
The empty tent, occupied the day before by Amr’s family, was obliterated.

The appeal to boycott the April 27 event says the White House’s support for Israel’s genocidal policies implicates it directly in the relentless targeting and massacring of journalists in Gaza.

Palestinian journalists are urging their U.S. counterparts to boycott the April 27 White House Correspondents’ Association dinner over the Biden administration’s complicity in Israel’s genocide in Gaza.
“In the past six months alone, the Israeli military has executed over 125 Palestinian journalists in Gaza — 10 percent of Gaza’s community of journalists,” notes the appeal, which is being organized with the help of Adalah Justice Project and the U.S. Campaign for Palestinian Rights.
“The year 2023 marked the bloodiest year for journalists worldwide in over a decade, with over 75% of killed journalists targeted by Israel’s attacks on Gaza.”
“As Palestinian journalists, we urgently appeal to you, our colleagues globally, with a demand for immediate and unwavering action against the Biden administration’s ongoing complicity in the systematic slaughter and persecution of journalists in Gaza,” the authors wrote in the appeal issued .
“We bear the enormous burden of exposing the realities of Israel’s genocidal campaign to the world while living through it in real-time. Israel has killed more than 32,000 Palestinians as we watch on,” the journalists said.
The death toll in Gaza now exceeds 33,000 — mostly women and children — with at least 75,550 other Palestinians wounded since Oct. 7.
“In Gaza, journalism is synonymous with putting our lives on the line as Israel methodically targets us in its desperate bid to silence our voices and obscure the grim reality of its genocidal actions and its project of ethnic cleansing in Palestine. For Palestinian journalists in Gaza, the blue press vest does not offer us protection, but rather functions as a red target.
The Biden administration’s ongoing support for Israel’s genocidal policies implicates it directly in the relentless targeting and massacring of journalists in Gaza, including hundreds of our colleagues and their families.”
“Western media has played an integral role in manufacturing consent for Israel’s ongoing violence against the Palestinian people, while obfuscating U.S. complicity,” the journalists continued. “Over the past six months, the mainstream press has become the mouthpiece of the homicidal Israeli regime, promoting dehumanizing anti-Palestinian propaganda and platforming genocide apologists and perpetrators, while simultaneously ignoring, downplaying, and underreporting Israel’s war crimes against Palestinians.”
“The White House Correspondents’ dinner is an embodiment of media manipulation, trading journalistic ethics for access,” the appeal argues.
“For journalists to fraternize at an event with President [Joe] Biden and Vice President [Kamala] Harris would be to normalize, sanitize, and whitewash the administration’s role in genocide.”
“As journalists reporting from the belly of the beast, you have a unique responsibility to speak truth to power and uphold journalistic integrity,” the Palestinians implored U.S. journalists. “It is unacceptable to stay silent out of fear or professional concern while journalists in Gaza continue to be detained, tortured, and killed for doing our jobs.”
The appeal’s authors noted that American media professionals have demanded justice for journalists like Palestinian American Al Jazeera reporter Shireen Abu Akleh — who numerous probes found was intentionally killed by Israeli forces in 2022 — and Jamal Khashoggi, the Saudi Washington Post columnist gruesomely murdered in 2018 by Saudi Arabian operatives in Turkey.
“It is past time journalists take action for journalists in Gaza,” the Palestinians asserted. “We call on all journalists of conscience to stand with us and uplift our call to boycott the White House Correspondents’ dinner.”

Whom the gods would destroy, they have first to listen to Robert Kagan.
Kagan postulates in a profusion of books and articles that Americans are God’s chosen people, that the United States is the indispensable nation, and that the putative cures America has for the infinite ills of the world are superior to the diseases. Fleas are magnified into elephants to justify projecting the military strength of the United States everywhere under the Orwellian banner of anticipatory self-defense, i.e., destroy first, ask whether you killed innocents later.
Kagan’s latest cri de coeur blazed forth in an Opinions Essay in The Washington Post on March 31, “Trump’s anti-Ukraine view dates to the 1930s. Americans rejected it then. Will we now?”(p. A20-21). He absurdly assumes that the national security of the United States will be imperiled unless we provide Ukraine with infinite funds and weapons to defend against Russia’s attack launched in 2022.

The fate of Ukraine, whose borders have changed on multiple occasions throughout its history, is irrelevant to the peace and safety of the United States. Indeed, a Russian occupation or conquest would weaken Russia as a military power.
It would be engaged in chronic and expensive efforts to quell inevitable Ukrainian rebellions reminiscent of the Soviet Union’s post-World War II bedevilments in Central and Eastern Europe which fueled its dissolution, e.g., East Germany in 1953, Hungary in 1956, and Czechoslovakia in 1968. The Warsaw Pact was a costly paper tiger.
Invincible self-defense from actual or imminent aggression is the optimal national security policy of the United States. That policy and its justification was best articulated by secretary of state John Quincy Adams in his July 4, 1821, address to Congress.
The secretary warned against military force to eliminate the crooked timber of mankind. Constant warfare would destroy liberty at home, he said, echoing Alexander Hamilton in the Federalist Papers. That truth has been more than amply vindicated by experience.
Hamilton observed:
“The violent destruction of life and property incident to war – the continual effort and alarm attendant on a state of continual danger, will compel nations the most attached to liberty, to resort for repose and security, to institutions, which have a tendency to destroy their civil and political rights. To be more safe they, at length, become willing to run the risk of being less free.”
John Quincy Adams made the same point more powerfully:
“[The United States] has abstained from interference in the concerns of others, even when conflict has been for principles to which she clings, as to the last vital drop that visits the heart.
She has seen that probably for centuries to come, all the contests of that Aceldama the European world, will be contests of inveterate power, and emerging right.
Wherever the standard of freedom and Independence has been or shall be unfurled, there will her heart, her benedictions and her prayers be.

But she goes not abroad, in search of monsters to destroy.
She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all.
She is the champion and vindicator only of her own.
She will commend the general cause by the countenance of her voice, and the benignant sympathy of her example.
She well knows that by once enlisting under other banners than her own, were they even the banners of foreign independence, she would involve herself beyond the power of extrication, in all the wars of interest and intrigue, of individual avarice, envy, and ambition, which assume the colors and usurp the standard of freedom.
The fundamental maxims of her policy would insensibly change from liberty to force….
She might become the dictatress of the world. She would be no longer the ruler of her own spirit.”
Abraham Lincoln also discredited the delusion that without a garrison state bestriding the world like a colossus the United States would be destroyed by enemies without:
“At what point shall we expect the approach of danger? By what means shall we fortify against it?– Shall we expect some transatlantic military giant, to step the Ocean, and crush us at a blow? Never!–All the armies of Europe, Asia and Africa combined, with all the treasure of the earth (our own excepted) in their military chest; with a Buonaparte for a commander, could not by force, take a drink from the Ohio, or make a track on the Blue Ridge, in a trial of a thousand years.
… [If danger]ever reach us, it must spring up amongst us. It cannot come from abroad. If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide.”
Kagan is deaf to the timeless wisdom of Hamilton, Quincy Adams, and Lincoln. He scampers away from endeavoring to refute their arguments (fortified by volumes of history), like jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge without consulting Newton’s Principia Mathematica.
The ultra-war hawk envisions the end of the free world if the United States neglects to stand with Ukraine whatever it takes. Russia will conquer the Baltic States and invade European members of NATO. China will attack Taiwan. The world will surrender to enemies of freedom. Western civilization will end.
Britain’s Prime Minister Anthony Eden similarly proclaimed in 1956 that international order and peace would disappear unless Egyptian President Gamal Abdul Nasser was destroyed for nationalizing the Suez Canal. History proved the stupendous error and drove the Prime Minister from office.
In any event, Kagan’s reputation for clairvoyance is suspect. Cajoling Americans to support the impending U.S. war of aggression against Iraq, he trumpeted in 2002 that, “No step would contribute more toward shaping a world order in which our people and our liberal civilization can survive and flourish.”
The war came. Trillions were expended on a fool’s errand that made arch-enemy Iran a Middle East hegemon dominating Iraq. A precedent was set, which Kagan championed, that Russia followed in invading Ukraine. Hasn’t he been hoisted on his own petard?
The optimal influence of the United States abroad is the influence of example. To be sure, that modesty will leave many evils and imperfections in the world unaddressed. But it is superior to any other national security policy ever attempted or conceived.
Don’t sacrifice the good on the altar of the perfect.

Cyber-Attacks
The article below focusses on the dangers of Cyber Warfare, which were first announced by the World Economic Forum (WEF) in 2020
In 2021, the WEF conducted a simulation of Cyber Attacks involving a scenario of Paralysis of the Power Supply, Communications, Transportation, The Internet.
Klaus Schwab intimated in no uncertain terms based on “a simulated scenario” that a cyber-attack:
“Could bring a complete halt to the power supply, transportation, hospital services, our society as a whole …
The COVID-19 crisis would be seen in this respect as a small disturbance in comparison to a major cyberattack.” (emphasis added)
Barack and Michelle Obama’s “Leave the World Behind” Movie: Cyberattack, “Synchronized Chaos”, Collapse, “Civil War”
Another controversial element has recently emerged. Available on Netflix, Hollywood has released “Leave the World Behind” produced by former President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, based on the script of Rumaan Alam‘s novel. The film director is Sam Esmail.
“Leave the World Behind” “depicts the unraveling of society in the wake of a surprise attack by an unknown assailant, which “predicts a cyberattack on the U.S. power grid”.
Rumaan Alam’s novel “Leave the World Behind,” was published in October 2020, several month following the fear campaign and the March 11, 2020 Covid-19 “Lockdown”. In an interview with The Guardian: (October 26, 2021) Rumaan Alam says:
“I’d never even heard the word coronavirus prior to February 2020. On a very basic level, the book dramatises being trapped in at home and not having enough information – and it happened to be published into a reality in which many readers felt that they were trapped in their homes and didn’t have enough information. So it’s a strange resonance. [namely]… the individual relationship to anxiety over the climate, the absurdity of the contemporary moment, our warped relationship to technology. People are thinking and talking about this stuff so it makes sense that there will be books about it.
… The people I’m talking about are the person I am. The day lockdown began, what was the first thing we did? Aside from grocery shopping, everyone I know, myself included, went shopping …
According to Joseph Mercola in a carefully researched review of the “Leave the World Behind” movie:
“Leave the World Behind” depicts the unraveling of society in the wake of a surprise attack by an unknown assailant. Many believe the film, produced by Barack and Michelle Obama, predicts a cyberattack on the U.S. power grid
A cyberattack that will make the COVID pandemic look like a minor inconvenience in comparison to what has been repeatedly “promised” in recent years by World Economic Forum (WEF) founder Klaus Schwab
“Leave the World Behind” doesn’t preach preparedness ideologies or indulge in apocalyptic fantasies. Instead, it offers a glimpse into the potential ramifications of societal breakdowns and the human condition’s capacity for both despair and resilience (See Mercola’s analysis, January 7, 2024, see Schwab quotation above)
Rumaan Alam’s novel depicts the social impacts of a Blackout affecting the entire U.S. East Coast.
There is no concrete evidence at this stage that the producers and director of “Leave the World Behind” were cognizant of the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) Simulation of a Cyber Attack first conducted in July 2020. The matter requires further investigation.
The World Economic Forum warns us of a new crisis of “even more significant economic and social implications than COVID19.”

What does Klaus Schwab have up his Sleeve? A Geopolitical Slant: The 2021 Cyber Polygon Simulation
The 2021 WEF cyber polygon simulation scenario had an obvious “contradictory” geopolitical slant:
The event was chaired by Russia’s Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, numerous Russian financial institutions, media and communications entities had been invited by the WEF.
Forty-eight countries participated in the Event, there were 41 partners of which 10 were from Russia and Kazakhstan: these included News Agency TASS, NTV, Sberbank, Russia’s largest bank and a leading global financial institution, the Mail.ru Group, Russia’s largest internet provider, MTS, Russia’s leading telecommunications group, the State Legal Department of the Omsk Region, Siberia. Powerful banking financial institutions from Kazakstan. Among others.

Amply documented, the World Economic Forum (WEF) has been instrumental in endorsing US-NATO’s military agenda in regards to Ukraine.
Was this July 2021 Cyber Polygon event (which occurred less than 8 months prior to the outset of the Ukraine War) intent upon creating political divisions within the Russian Federation by establishing partnerships with a number of powerful Russian media, communications, banking and financial institutions, etc.
Not a single representative from the People’s Republic of China. Was the Cyber Polygon Simulation (July 2021) intended to foster confrontation between China and Russia? Are Cyber attacks contemplated as part of a Global Military agenda?
The Process of “All-Digitization”
In November 2023, as documented in an article by Peter Koenig, the Financial Elites passed from the “simulation of scenarios” too outright “implementation”. They entrusted the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) “as the flag-carrier … for the deadly onslaught of All-Digitization.”
Koenig focusses on the “Take Down of a Society That is Digital.” whichcould be conducted in the form of a Worldwide Cyber Attack (as outlined by Klaus Schwab in his 2021 statement):
“If everything around us is run by digital signals that are controlled by the “Globalist Cabal” (Financial Elites) one or a few switches can turn off our different networks:

Introduction
The World Economic Forum (WEF) which represents the Western financial elites, played a key role in the launching of the March 11, 2020 lockdown, which was conducive to a Worldwide process of economic and social chaos.
The WEF is now pointing to: “A cyber-attack with COVID-like characteristics”, which promises to be far more devastating and chaotic than the Covid-19 pandemic.
The World Economic Forum’s “Concept 2021”. Cyber Polygon Scenario
The World Economic Forum (WEF) which co-sponsored Event 201, the table top simulation of the corona pandemic together with John Hopkins and the Gates Foundation in October 2019, has been involved in another strategic exercise entitled Concept 2021. The latter is described as an:
“international capacity building initiative aimed at raising the global cyber resilience”.
It is not a table top simulation comparable to Event 201.
Last year it was conducted at the height of the lockdown via video conferencing. This year, the 2021 Conference “discussed the “key risks of digitalization”.
Those participating in the Cyber Polygon Exercise (2020)included high tech companies including IBM, numerous banks and financial institutions, internet companies, cyber security agencies, corporate and government media, think tanks, law enforcement agencies including Interpol with representatives from 48 countries.
The exercise was an obvious means to secure reliable partners and develop strategic alliances. In this regard, there were numerous representatives from Russia and countries of the former Soviet Union, including major Russian banking interests, communications and media companies. All in all 42 partners. No corporate /governmental partners from China, participated in the simulation.
There was also a training program with 200 teams from 48 countries. Cyber Attack With Covid-like Characteristics

Klaus Schwab, founder and Executive Director of the WEF and architect of the “Great Reset” describes the crisis scenario as follows:
“The frightening scenario of a comprehensive cyber attack could bring a complete halt to the power supply, transportation, hospital services, our society as a whole. The COVID-19 crisis would be seen in this respect as a small disturbance in comparison to a major cyberattack.” (emphasis added)
Jeremy Jurgens, WEF Managing Director:

The implications of these bold “predictions” which represent the interests of the financial establishment are far-reaching.
What they describe is a scenario of economic and social chaos involving the disruption of communications systems, the internet, financial and money transactions (including SWIFT), the power grid, global transportation, commodity trade, etc., as well as likely “geopolitical dislocations”.
The opening session (July 2021) of Cyber Polygon 2021 was conducted (video below) by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin together with the Director General of the WEF Klaus Schwab.

“Addressing cyberthreats and securing our common digital future are among the priorities of every government and company. …”

Is this Scenario a “Dress Rehearsal” for a Forthcoming Cyber Crisis?
The geopolitics of this exercise are complex. While Russia is routinely threatened by US-NATO, the Russian Federation [was] is a partner of this WEF initiative, which is largely dominated by Wall Street and the Western financial establishment.
Why was China –which is an ally of Russia– excluded from the Cyber Polygon Exercise?
The Cyber Attack is categorized as a Terrorist Act. Ask yourself the question: Who has the capabilities of carrying out such an attack?
Russia’s financial and banking establishment were actively involved in the Cyber Scenario. Was the exercise intended to create divisions between China and Russia?
While one cannot speculate, the matter must nonetheless be addressed.
And who will be blamed if the Cyber Scenario goes live?
Engineered economic and social chaos. Is that not part of a US hegemonic project?
