Zelensky’s Ukrainian Institute of National Memory are disgracing themselves and their French and American backers yet again. This time, they are examining the writings of renowned novelist and playwright Mikhail Bulgakov to see if he was a lackey of Russian imperialism.
As Bulgakov expired in Moscow in 1940, the exercise seems quite pedantic and seems like one that should be written up in some obscure literary journal or other. Such common sense is miles beyond the ken of those who rule Bandera’s cat strangling roost in Kiev where, as it happens, Bulgakov was born in the year of Our Lord, 1891. Although Bulgakov was posthumously honoured with museums in both Kiev and Moscow, it is no exaggeration to say that his was a turbulent life, on a par with that of Talleyrand or Voltaire’s Candide.
A medical doctor by profession, he got caught up with the Whites during the Russian (and Ukrainian) Civil War, spent some time in the Caucasus and ended up being sponsored by none other than Uncle Joe Stalin, who could be the most mercurial, harshest and, indeed, deadliest of literary critics.
Though Uncle Joe quite liked Bulgakov’s The Days of the Turbins, he took a dimmer view of The Master and Margarita (Bulgakov’s masterpiece) and of The White Guard, which the overly-sensitive Stalin thought was a mite too lenient on errant White Army generals.
Stalin is not Bulgakov’s only critic. Zeleneky’s Ukrainian Institute of National Memory regards Bulgakov as an “imperialist” who “despised Ukrainians and their culture, hated the Ukrainian desire for independence, spoke negatively about the formation of the Ukrainian state and its leaders.”
Because of that, these Nazis recently removed a memorial plaque to Bulgakov from Kiev’s Taras Shevchenko National University. They are also busy “decolonising” Kiev street signs and ripping up any statue or monument of Pushkin or Bulgakov they come across. Welcome to Nazi book burning 2.0.
On the positive side, this is good news for any lazy student studying literature in any of Ukraine’s pretend universities, Rail against Tolstoy, Bulgakov and especially Pushkin and the world, or at least that part of it contained within Zelensky’s rump Reich, is your oyster.
Here in Ireland, we are uniquely qualified to comment on such madness. Following independence just over a century ago, there was an attempt to decolonise Dublin’s streets. The effort met with mixed success and was eventually abandoned, meaning that most central Dublin streets are still called after genocidal English generals or the royalty they served. Few give it a second thought.
Although my formal education was entirely through Irish, our English literature classes were saturated with England’s literary greats; noted bigots like Charles Dickens, for whom I have no time, and Alexander Pope were quite rightly treated with the respect their reputations and genius deserved. If memory serves me correctly, even Tennyson’s Charge of the Light Brigade was on the curriculum, an interesting footnote, given my school was fiercely nationalist and anti British, at least where it counted.
Any shenanigans, like that we currently see in Zelensky’s Reich, would have gained precisely zero traction. Those in charge of Irish education were wise enough to see that England, like Mother Russia with regard to Ukraine, had a much wider cultural well to draw from than had Ireland. Sure, Bulgakov was not as perfect a cat strangler as Bandera was but we all cannot excel at cat strangling, unless we want to be minor characters in a Dostoevsky story.
The great Irish poet Paddy Kavanagh covers this Ukrainian terrain in ‘In Memory of Brother Michael’ and Australian literature reeks with their own cultural cringe. Still, in fairness to the Ossies, they are not yet the full blown knuckle dragging Nazis the Russian speaking Zelensky and his equally hypocritical enforcers are.
Although Ukrainian nationalism has always had a very dark undercurrent to it, I refuse to believe they alone are responsible for this gross ignorance to the memory of Bulgakov and literature’s other immortals.
Take the 2024 Paris Olympics as an example and take the ignorant statement of Anne Hidalgo, the Spanish plant who is mayor of Paris. Referring to the 40 Russian athletes who can participate up to a point in the Games, Hidalgo has flat out claimed they are not welcome and they should fuck off back to Moscow. Leaving aside that this is an incitement to violence against those athletes, Hidalgo, as a mayor and as an immigrant, should be much more diplomatic than that. But, as Macron and his “wife” show, if diplomacy were an Olympic game, France would never be on the winners’ podium.
When it comes to culture, folk like Kamila Valieva are the perennial winners and Banderite culture, as represented by losers like Olena Semenyaka, are the perennial losers. And, though I have barely time to re-read Paddy Kavanagh, let alone the Russian greats, let me just say this about them. Like Korbut and Valieva in sport, they have handed on the torch to new generations of Russians, whose art has evolved through the Soviet cinematic era of the Battleship Potemkin and right down to our own day where NATO’s sanctions on behalf of the cat stranglers has led to a resurgence in Russian online streaming services. Add the explosion of Chinese cinema through such blockbusters as Lost in Thailand, think of alliances between Russian, Indian, Iranian and Chinese cinema and the cat stranglers and their French enablers have a mighty problem that great artists from Kavanagh to Brother Michael Bulgakov are probably having a good chuckle about right now.
For the truth of it is that poets like Pushkin and Kavanagh, together with geniuses like Bulgakov, Tolstoy, Tchaikovsky, Valieva and Dostoevsky capture the human soul’s essence in ways all the sulking cat stranglers of Kiev and environs can never emulate or erase no matter how many Russian icons they desecrate or Russian grandmothers those functionally illiterate savages beat up.
Le déclin de l’hégémonie mondiale des États-Unis sanctionne la fin du siècle américain. Les États-Unis sont à la croisée des chemins : se retirer de la région ou provoquer un conflit de bien plus grande ampleur. Le retour de l’histoire dans les affaires géopolitiques mondiales a rendu un verdict sans appel : l’hégémonie mondiale est impossible. Le monde multipolaire aura pour protagonistes des États-Civilisations installés dans de vastes espaces continentaux, composés des peuples les plus divers, mais unifiés par des valeurs identitaires éthico-politiques communes.
Des séquelles indéchiffrables – Gaza
Gaza est l’épicentre d’un affrontement qui implique l’ensemble du Moyen-Orient comme théâtre d’un conflit géopolitique aux répercussions mondiales. Des acteurs majeurs tels que les États-Unis et l’Iran, soutenus par la Chine, la Russie et d’autres puissances mineures comme l’Afrique du Sud, sont également impliqués dans le conflit entre Israël et le Hamas. La domination sur l’ensemble du Moyen-Orient est en jeu. À Gaza, une phase de la Grande Guerre bat donc son plein.
Netanyahou est déterminé à remporter une victoire décisive qui implique non seulement l’éradication du Hamas de Gaza, mais aussi la fin de la question palestinienne. Le conflit de Gaza représente l’épilogue d’un dessein politique de Netanyahou et de la droite ultra-orthodoxe israélienne, qui consiste à rendre impossible la création d’un État palestinien. Depuis des décennies, la stratégie de Netanyahou consiste à diviser les Palestiniens en Cisjordanie, sous l’administration de l’ANP, et à Gaza, où l’enracinement du Hamas a été largement favorisé par Israël, en autorisant le transfert de fonds qataris aux Palestiniens. Puisqu’il n’y a donc pas de corps légitime et unifié des Palestiniens, toute négociation aurait été impossible. Par conséquent, la seule solution possible à la question palestinienne aurait été l’occupation progressive de toute la Cisjordanie par les colons israéliens, avec l’émigration massive des Palestiniens eux-mêmes. L’attentat du 7 octobre a constitué une occasion inespérée pour Netanyahou, dont le leadership était déjà largement discrédité et qui faisait l’objet d’âpres protestations populaires, avec des accusations de corruption et de projets de réforme jugés antidémocratiques, de se légitimer en tant que premier ministre d’un gouvernement d’union d’urgence, qui recomposait un pays déchiré par des conflits internes, au nom de la sécurité nationale.
Bien sûr, la fin de la guerre entraînera aussi nécessairement la démission de Netanyahou, qui s’acharne donc à la prolonger indéfiniment, avec le mirage d’une victoire définitive sur le Hamas. Mais cet objectif s’avère impossible à atteindre. Malgré la guerre d’extermination menée par Israël, avec près de 30 000 Palestiniens tués, l’occupation de Gaza n’a détruit que 30% du potentiel de guerre du Hamas, et les données sur les pertes infligées à l’armée israélienne font l’objet d’une censure absolue. Ajoutez à cela que l’expulsion des Palestiniens de Gaza est également impossible, étant donné le refus de l’Égypte et d’autres pays arabes de les accepter. Une nouvelle «Nakba» est hautement improbable.
Séparer la tragédie de la population civile de la guerre «terroriste» du Hamas est totalement infondé. La population palestinienne s’identifie totalement à la cause du Hamas et de l’Axe de la Résistance. Cela justifierait-il alors la guerre d’extermination d’Israël ? Le génocide en cours à Gaza, ainsi que le régime d’apartheid imposé aux Palestiniens de Cisjordanie, affecteront profondément les nouvelles générations palestiniennes : le Hamas deviendra un symbole indélébile de la lutte pour la libération de la Palestine. Gaza est un point de non-retour, tant pour Israël que pour l’axe de la résistance. Même en cas de déportation totale des Palestiniens de leur terre, l’identité nationale d’un peuple apatride en diaspora existerait toujours. Exactement comme ce fut le cas pour les juifs au cours des siècles.
Plusieurs plans de paix se sont succédé au fil des ans, sans succès. L’échec des accords d’Oslo a marqué la fin de la perspective de deux États. De plus, des projets farfelus de gouvernement pour Gaza avec la participation des États arabes et de la Turquie, des revitalisations fantômes de l’ANP (en tant qu’organe représentatif des Palestiniens reconnu à l’ONU mais délégitimé par les Palestiniens eux-mêmes), avec l’adhésion du Hamas, sont hypothétiques. Tous les projets de pacification dans la région ont échoué parce qu’ils ont été conçus sans le consentement des Palestiniens. Au contraire, de tels accords auraient confiné les Palestiniens dans de petites enclaves sans aucune autonomie. La seule solution théoriquement possible serait la création d’un seul État multiethnique sur le modèle sud-africain. Mais compte tenu du climat de haine qui s’est encore renforcé entre juifs et Palestiniens, cette solution s’avère pour l’instant impraticable. La suite – Gaza reste indéchiffrable.
La victoire stratégique du Hamas
Netanyahou est vivement critiqué pour l’inefficacité dont ont fait preuve les services de renseignement et le haut commandement de l’armée pour empêcher l’opération al-Aqsa de libération des otages détenus par le Hamas. Mais il ne faut pas croire qu’avec son limogeage, la ligne politique d’Israël connaîtra des changements de cap significatifs. Le leadership de Netanyahou a duré (par phases intermittentes) pendant 20 ans en vertu du consensus populaire obtenu et aujourd’hui, la majorité des Israéliens, tout en contestant le premier ministre, selon un récent sondage, approuve à 80% l’action de nettoyage ethnique menée par Israël dans la bande de Gaza.
Israël considère ce conflit comme une «guerre existentielle», qui s’inscrit dans un contexte beaucoup plus large impliquant l’ensemble du Moyen-Orient. Ces dernières années, les échecs des interventions américaines en Irak, en Syrie et en Afghanistan ont conduit à un élargissement de la zone d’influence de l’Iran jusqu’à la Méditerranée. Israël, dans cette nouvelle configuration géopolitique du Moyen-Orient, se retrouve isolé, surtout après la paix conclue entre l’Iran et l’Arabie Saoudite avec le parrainage de la Chine et la fin de l’Alliance Abrahamique. L’État juif est exposé à une guerre incessante, quoique de faible intensité, aux frontières du Liban et de la Syrie avec le Hezbollah, à un conflit permanent avec la population arabe de Cisjordanie et est menacé en mer Rouge par les actions des Houthis yéménites. À terme, il pourrait être usé.
Ainsi, après le prochain bombardement de Rafah et une phase où Netanyahou pourrait médiatiquement faire passer l’opération de Gaza pour une victoire totale sur le Hamas, Israël pourrait viser un élargissement du conflit afin de briser l’encerclement du bloc pro-iranien, ce qui impliquerait nécessairement l’implication directe des États-Unis. Mais l’hégémonie américaine au Moyen-Orient est désormais révolue, et les États-Unis n’ont pas l’intention de mener de nouvelles guerres au Moyen-Orient, après des échecs répétés qui ont gravement entamé leur statut de superpuissance.
Ce conflit marque la fin de l’alliance abrahamique. Avec ces accords, également signés par les États-Unis, après la reconnaissance de l’État juif par les Émirats arabes unis, le Bahreïn, le Maroc, et avec l’adhésion possible de l’Arabie saoudite, Israël prendrait un rôle de premier plan dans la coalition et le statut de première puissance militaire et financière de la région, dans le cadre de la restauration d’une hégémonie américaine indirecte au Proche-Orient. Après le 7 octobre, Israël est isolé et menacé, dans un contexte de pays hostiles soutenus par les puissances du BRICS+.
Israël a donc adopté une position victimaire, évoquant la mémoire de l’Holocauste, et dans la perspective de la propagande du courant dominant occidental, le génocide de Gaza s’est transformé en une guerre d’autodéfense existentielle contre les Palestiniens et les États islamiques qui menaceraient son existence. Une mystification évidente de la réalité émerge de ce récit médiatique. Hanan Ashrāwī s’exprime à cet égard dans une interview intitulée «The two states will not happen» publiée dans le numéro 1/2024 de Limes : «Depuis quand un occupant revendique-t-il la légitime défense contre l’occupé ? Nous en sommes à l’inversion des rôles : la victime est Israël qui se défend contre le Palestinien brutal. Le premier n’existe plus, mais c’est dans ces 75 années précédentes qu’il faut chercher les causes du désastre. Je ne me lasserai pas de le crier : Israël tue, détruit, massacre et continue d’agir en toute impunité. Tout au plus doit-il ne pas en faire trop. Mais quel est le seuil de l’excès ? Dix mille enfants tués ? Deux millions de personnes réduites à la famine ? Deux tiers des bâtiments rasés ? Ils ont aussi ouvert le feu sur des civils qui attendaient de l’aide humanitaire. Étaient-ils aussi des terroristes ? La haine, la violence ne naissent pas de rien. Elles sont le fruit empoisonné de la captivité imposée à deux millions de personnes à Gaza et aux populations emmurées de Cisjordanie».
L’opération al-Aqsa du 7 octobre est tout à fait conforme à la stratégie mise en œuvre par le Hamas depuis des décennies. Avant le 7 octobre, la cause palestinienne avait été rayée de l’ordre du jour international. La stratégie du Hamas a toujours consisté à provoquer des événements marquants afin de faire réapparaître la cause palestinienne dans le contexte géopolitique mondial, dans le but d’impliquer la Palestine dans les intérêts et les projets politiques des pays de la région du Moyen-Orient. Du point de vue du Hamas, l’opération al-Aqsa représente donc un succès : la cause palestinienne est devenue décisive pour la reconfiguration politique de la région du Moyen-Orient, ainsi que pour la mise en œuvre des nouveaux équilibres géopolitiques mondiaux qui émergent de la Grande Guerre.
Les États-Unis : une hégémonie mondiale impossible
Le Chaosland actuel découle de la décadence des États-Unis, seule superpuissance garante de l’ordre mondial unilatéral. Les États-Unis sont depuis longtemps en proie à une crise d’identité qui a généré une profonde conflictualité au sein de la population. Les mythes fondateurs qui sous-tendaient les valeurs unificatrices dans lesquelles le peuple américain s’est toujours reconnu ont disparu. Le mythe messianique de la destinée manifeste qui légitimait l’expansionnisme américain à l’échelle mondiale a disparu. Les défaites répétées dans les guerres préventives contre les «États voyous» ont profondément affecté l’identité politique et culturelle même des États-Unis.
La fin de la dissuasion armée de la superpuissance américaine a engendré la Grande Guerre. Comme l’indique Lucio Caracciolo dans l’éditorial «Chronicles from Lake Victoria» du numéro susmentionné de Limes : «La cause première de la Grande Guerre est le déclin rapide de l’empire américain. La prétention mondiale a érodé la nation. Elle remet en question son existence. Et révèle son fond maniaco-dépressif. Une maladie des empires, oscillant entre le délire de toute-puissance, avec son excitation psycho-motrice, et la dépression catatonique, qui se manifeste par l’aboulie et la dysthymie. En moins de trente ans, le Numéro Un est passé de l’unipolarité géopolitique à la bipolarité psychique». De l’état dépressif généralisé du peuple américain, les symptômes s’étaient déjà fait sentir lors de la guerre du Vietnam : au fur et à mesure que le mythe de l’invincibilité américaine se dissolvait, le peuple commençait à ne plus se reconnaître dans les institutions de son propre pays. Manifestement, pour les États-Unis, la psycholabilité collective est une caractéristique de leur identité. Cette pathologie a depuis lors contaminé tout l’Occident.
Cependant, la prévision d’un avenir isolationniste pour les États-Unis est peu probable. L’unité nationale américaine elle-même pourrait ne pas survivre à la fin de l’empire américain. Pour les États-Unis, l’expansionnisme fait partie intégrante de leur «être au monde» et il semble donc tout à fait logique qu’ils persévèrent dans la défense acharnée de leur rôle hégémonique dans le monde, qui s’est avéré insoutenable au fil du temps.
Dans le conflit israélo-palestinien, l’hégémonie sur le Moyen-Orient est en jeu entre deux prétendants : États-Unis – Israël et Iran – BRICS. Les États-Unis sont donc à la croisée des chemins : soit ils se retirent de la région, soit ils provoquent un conflit beaucoup plus important.
L’objectif premier des États-Unis est de contenir l’influence iranienne au Moyen-Orient. En cas de retrait américain de Syrie et d’Irak, les conséquences géopolitiques seraient dévastatrices pour les États-Unis : outre l’isolement d’Israël, un retrait américain donnerait lieu à une expansion économique et politique de la Chine et de la Russie dans la région, renforcerait le statut de la Turquie en tant que puissance régionale et entraînerait la fin de l’influence américaine dans la péninsule arabique, puisque l’Arabie saoudite et les Émirats arabes unis feraient partie du nouvel équilibre géopolitique au Moyen-Orient. De plus, comme après l’abandon de l’Afghanistan, la crédibilité de la dissuasion américaine est déjà au plus bas, pour Biden, un nouveau retrait, même du Moyen-Orient, compromettrait considérablement ses chances d’être réélu à la Maison-Blanche.
Ayant échoué dans leur stratégie de domination indirecte, c’est-à-dire exercée grâce à la primauté d’Israël dans la région, les États-Unis, dont l’implication directe dans un conflit plus large est souhaitée par l’État juif, n’auraient plus que l’option de la guerre totale pour restaurer leur hégémonie. Une telle option est impraticable pour les États-Unis. En effet, l’Amérique devrait s’engager dans une guerre contre l’Iran et ses alliés tout en devant contenir la Chine dans le Pacifique (qui est sa priorité stratégique), soutenir l’Ukraine dans sa guerre contre la Russie, et aussi préserver sa présence dans une Afrique minée par l’expansion des puissances des BRICS. Ce même soutien américain inconditionnel à Israël, en plus de susciter une vaste vague d’antisionisme et d’antiaméricanisme à travers le monde, a eu pour effet de miner sérieusement les relations des États-Unis avec leurs alliés arabes dans la région. Ajoutez à cela le fait que le pouvoir thalassocratique américain n’est même plus en mesure de garantir la sécurité des voies de navigation marchande dans le monde. En mer Rouge, la mission Aspides est en cours pour protéger les navires marchands en route entre Ormuz, le golfe d’Aden et Suez, en tant que bouclier naval de défense contre les actions hostiles des Houthis. Une telle situation est d’ailleurs reproductible à l’échelle mondiale, dans tous les détroits océaniques d’importance vitale pour le commerce mondial. Et les foyers de conflits se multiplient partout. La surexposition américaine dans le monde est évidente : l’insoutenabilité de son statut de superpuissance mondiale est la cause de son déclin.
Il faut aussi noter que la stratégie des bombardements aveugles en Irak, en Syrie, en Afghanistan, pratiquée par les Américains et qui s’est avérée perdante, a été reproduite par Israël à Gaza. Une erreur fatale a été commise : le Hamas a été considéré comme un mouvement islamique radical au même titre qu’ISIS, les Takfiri, etc. En plus de ne pas prendre en compte le niveau d’armement et d’organisation bien plus avancé des militants du Hamas par rapport à celui d’ISIS, le grand consensus populaire en sa faveur a été complètement négligé.
L’erreur capitale d’Israël est d’avoir ignoré le fait que le Hamas, tout comme le Hezbollah, les Houthis et d’autres, sont des entités non étatiques profondément ancrées dans le territoire, dotées de classes dirigeantes qui incarnent aujourd’hui l’identité politique et spirituelle de leurs peuples. Associer le Hamas aux bandes de mercenaires égorgeurs d’ISIS révèle le suprémacisme raciste invétéré dont sont affligés tant les États-Unis qu’Israël, unis par un dogmatisme théologique – l’Ancien Testament – qui les empêche d’avoir une vision objective de la réalité historique et surtout de comprendre l’identité et les motivations de l’ennemi.
En outre, en Israël comme aux États-Unis, la domination de la technocratie a entraîné une absence de stratégie militaire et politique, ce qui ne peut que conduire à une débâcle géopolitique irréversible.
La disparition de l’hégémonie mondiale des États-Unis est un symptôme évident de la fin du siècle américain. Alian de Beniost, dans un livre datant de 1976 et intitulé «Le mal américain», a formulé des considérations sur le destin des États-Unis qui pourraient s’avérer prophétiques aujourd’hui : «L’Amérique d’aujourd’hui est un cadavre en bonne santé. Avec son immense puissance matérielle, avec son extension géographique, avec son goût du gigantisme et avec la fructification de son capital, (tout comme l’Union soviétique) elle a su créer des illusions. En mettant l’accent sur les facteurs matériels, sur les éléments quantifiables, elle a imposé au monde l’idéal de la super-production. Mais cela suffit-il à garantir son éternité ? Prisonniers du désir de «vivre vite» (fast life), les États-Unis disparaîtront aussi brutalement qu’ils ont surgi ; plus tôt qu’on ne le pense, peut-être. À l’échelle des nations, ils auront été ce que certains hommes sont à l’ordre des individus : des aboyeurs bruyants et doués, mais qui ne laissent pas de trace parce que leur œuvre est une esbroufe. L’Empire romain, après avoir été une réalité, a été une idée, qui a façonné la vie de l’Europe pendant mille ans. L’«empire» américain ne peut durer que dans son présent. Il peut «être», mais il ne peut «transmettre». Ayant tout consommé avant d’arriver à maturité, il n’aura rien à laisser en héritage».
Les États-Unis pourraient être considérés par les historiens du futur comme un phénomène historique rapidement obsolète, au même titre que les biens de consommation du système capitaliste qui, en plus d’avoir détruit les peuples, les cultures, la nature et les ressources, est en train de s’autodétruire avec ses crises progressives. Le retour de l’histoire dans les événements géopolitiques mondiaux a prononcé une sentence sans appel : l’hégémonie mondiale est impossible.
États-civilisations : le retour de l’idée d’Empire
L’avènement du monde multipolaire préfigure la résurrection de l’histoire sur les cendres d’un monde unipolaire autoréférentiel dirigé par les États-Unis, configuré idéologiquement comme la «fin de l’histoire», auquel succéderait un libre marché mondial inspiré des vieux dogmes idéologiques libéraux «hors de l’histoire».
Les événements qui se sont déroulés dans la région MENA au cours des dernières décennies sont révélateurs d’une nouvelle phase historique qui entraînera une profonde redéfinition de l’ordre géopolitique mondial. La défaite de l’Occident en Syrie et en Irak, ainsi que la fuite des États-Unis d’Afghanistan, ont sanctionné la fin de la stratégie du chaos, mise en œuvre avec les printemps arabes, les révolutions colorées et, avec elles, la fin de l’expansionnisme américain à l’échelle mondiale. La défaite en Syrie pourrait devenir le carrefour de l’histoire contemporaine, le «Stalingrad» des États-Unis et de l’Occident tout entier.
Les guerres de libération du Moyen-Orient ont donné naissance à l’Axe de la résistance, au sein duquel convergent des groupes ethniques, des cultures et des religions différents, mais qui sont unifiés par des intérêts et des stratégies communs.
Une grande guerre est en cours, qui, au Moyen-Orient, est configurée comme une guerre anticoloniale, puisqu’Israël subsiste en tant qu’épicentre de l’hégémonie coloniale occidentale dans la région. La fin du colonialisme est également sanctionnée par le déclin des États du Moyen-Orient, qui ont été créés sur la base des partitions coloniales du siècle dernier. Les États ne disparaîtront pas, mais ils prendront une configuration entièrement différente. After abandoning the interests of Europeans, wrecking the economy and its future, just to blindly follow the US war on Russia,and indeed on the EU itself.
Apparently suffering from a pandemic 0f Stupidity with mass delusions and Long Covid brain fog and acute RussoPhobia, the EU leaders blindly obeyed and keep on and on Sanctioning Russia.
Without ever asking their voters for consent the EU leaders compete in destroying their own industry, losing key resources and sabotaging their own economy -all in favour of the USA, and even of Russia!
Just recently, EU nerds in Brussels noticed that when all of the EU’s leaders descend on the grey, depressing Belgian capital – a city many associate with industrial scale , graft, chocolate and a pissing urchin – that they show anyone who’s paying attention who ultimately runs the EU: member states.
Or at least that’s the theory. In the last few days EU leaders attended a meeting at the European Council of Ministers building and voted to “condemn” illegal West Bank settlers in Israel, while still protecting their financial portfolios by rabidly supporting Israel’s genocide in Gaza
Most editors of UK newspapers didn’t even understand what was happening.
It was reported as “EU slams Israel’s West bank settlers” or “EU possibly mulls sanctions against violent settlers” in a number of exclusive, European high-brow journals but completely unreported in the UK or US.
Perhaps the British press didn’t understand the significance of EU leaders – rather than the European Commission or the parliament – taking this initiative?
EU leaders themselves, purely in theory, have the power to overrule the Commission.
They hold the aces. And if they ever decide on a line or a certain policy, the European Commission would have no choice but to go along with it – affirming the old hacks’ dinner party circuit rambling that “the EU Council of Ministers is the most powerful institution in Brussels”.
EU intensifying efforts to revive Middle East peace process: Borrell
Perhaps it is. Or was. But what were EU leaders really trying to say with the stunt?
Simply that they needto pacify the ubiquitous demonstrators with a mild and indirectobjection to Ursula von der Leyen’s repulsive, uncompromising support for the genocide in Gaza and send a signal that Jewish settlers’ violence when they steal Palestinians’ land is unacceptable ( as it has been for 75 years).
Just keep on stealing, murdering and looting as much as you can, but please do it peacefully, seems to be the message.
They’re more concerned with asserting that THEY really run the so-called EU “foreign policy” rather than Ursula or that Catalan fellow in Brussels otherwise known as Josep Borrell.
EU member states every now and again like to remind the elite in Brussels that they, member states, humour the EU hierarchy with this fantasy of being a geopolitical player with its own imaginary hegemony.
But its just a meaningless game, while some members like Ireland or Spain are radically against Israeli fascism while Germany is still supplying them Arms, leaving the EU or its “members” as usual impotent, hesitant and ultimately cowardly on the international stage?
Ultimately, all the EU can do is make statements. That’s it.
It has proven over and over again that it is powerless against anything that Israel does, regardless of that old chestnut often known as “international law”.
And the call from EU leaders for violence in the West Bank to stop is also an indicator to who are the super elites around the world who really control them: Jewish money and power.
And that Jewish money – American Jewish money – which has a key role in the banking system, the federal exchange, World Bank, IMF, Hollywood, both houses in U.S. politics and most of big business in America.
Since Israel finally declared itself a Jewish State it has declared any and everybody who criticizes its policies to be therefore guilty of anti-Semitism, and due for reprisals, very worrying for the dependent international elite. .
EU leaders didn’t meet in Brussels to thrash out a peace plan as they don’t have the instructions to do so.
Rising rejection of nationalist Jews in the West is the most important issue as it could be the thin end of the wedge which removes power from the elites who own Sunak, Scholz, Macron et al not to mention the European Union project which serves their global interests most admirably.
And you can always tell when these powerful hidden elites are fretting over their power base being slightly shaken. Their surfs start whining. Just listen to Josep Borrell recently talk about the Ukraine war and Russia.
“We cannot afford for Russia to win this war. Otherwise the U.S. and European interests will be very damaged” he gushed. “It is not a matter of generosity alone … of supporting Ukraine because we love Ukrainian people. It is in our own interest”.
Of course, when he spoke of “our own interest” he literally meant his own interest and a few of his cronies on the elitist payroll which you might be fooled into thinking was the EU itself.

La rupture du front à Soledar marque un tournant décisif dans la guerre qui se joue entre « l’Occident collectif » et le reste du monde emmené par la Russie pour l’occasion. Une question subsidiaire en découle : la co-belligérance sera-elle déclarée ou non ?
Sur le plan opérationnel, la rupture du front à Soledar marque un tournant considérable dans les opérations militaires. En effet, après des mois de guerre d’attrition méthodique, la percée tactique à Soledar place la Russie en position d’engager l’offensive décisive. À cet égard, la nomination du chef d’état-major de l’armée russe, le général Gerasimov, à la tête de l’opération et celle du général Sourovikine à la tête des opérations aériennes, alors que les réserves russes sont désormais prêtes au combat, laisse présager un changement d’ampleur de la stratégie militaire russe, et potentiellement, une victoire rapide de la Russie sur le terrain… bien avant que les chars lourds promis n’arrivent sur le front (et tant mieux pour eux).
Pour les États-Unis suivis de leurs toutous, il s’agissait jusqu’à présent d’alimenter le chaudron le plus longtemps possible en vue, pensaient-ils, d’essouffler la Russie, sans toutefois être déclarés co-belligérants. La bêtise de cette tactique a fait s’épuiser les ressources militaires des pays de l’OTAN sous les coups de l’artillerie et de l’aviation russe par un effet boomerang, de la même façon que les sanctions économiques contre la Russie se sont retournées contre leurs auteurs. De surcroît, compte tenu que l’armée ukrainienne a subie des pertes monstrueuses depuis le début, il faudrait de la chair à canon fraîche venue d’ailleurs, en l’occurrence des pays de l’OTAN. La Pologne semble montrer la voie.
Sur le plan géopolitique, les États-Unis ont enfin admis, par la voix de hauts responsables militaires et politiques, que cette guerre était existentielle pour eux, et de fait elle l’est puisqu’il s’agit de la dernière scène du dernier acte du changement de paradigme géopolitique débuté il y a quinze ans. L’effondrement des États-Unis en tant que super puissance mondiale s’accélère. Nous assistons à un mouvement de fond en vue de la dédollarisation de l’économie mondiale et au développement rapide des échanges économiques entre les pays du reste du monde (en dehors de l’Occident collectif). Les pays d’Afrique, d’Amérique latine, du Moyen-Orient et d’Asie ont choisi leur camp. Mais au-delà des réalités de la situation, c’est peut-être l’aspect psychologique de ce changement de paradigme qui est le plus important. En effet, le sentiment de supériorité des dirigeants américains est fondé sur le mythe de l’exceptionnalisme américain qui fait qu’ils se sentent légitimes à donner des ordres au reste de la planète et à punir les pays qui refusent d’obéir. Baignés dans ce sentiment de supériorité qui aujourd’hui relève du fantasme plus que de la réalité de la situation, les neocons psychopathes qui sont aux commandes de l’Occident collectif jouent avec le feu (nucléaire). Il n’est même pas certain qu’ils aient bien évalué la puissance militaire russe.
Pour la Russie, il s’agit d’atteindre les objectifs géopolitiques de cette opération en évitant une escalade qui mènerait à une confrontation nucléaire. On marche sur des œufs. En fin stratège, Vladimir Poutine sait qu’il ne faut jamais acculer son adversaire mais toujours lui laisser une porte de sortie « honorable », tout en dessinant des lignes rouges pour le dissuader d’en faire trop (par exemple livrer des chars lourds à l’Ukraine, ce qui, sur le plan opérationnel ne changerait pas grand-chose, mais qui pourrait être considéré comme un acte de co-belligérance et permettrait à la Russie de frapper directement des cibles en territoire américain).
Voilà à peu près où nous en sommes actuellement. Cette partie qui se joue en ce moment est le point clé du changement de paradigme géopolitique. La Russie va vraisemblablement lancer son offensive décisive bientôt. Quelle sera la réaction des psychopathes ?
Pour ma part, j’imagine trois scénarios :
• Les psychopathes pourraient être ramenés les pieds sur terre, ou au minimum neutralisés, par des généraux de haut rang du Pentagone qui ont une vision suffisamment claire de la situation. J’estime que la probabilité de ce scénario est assez faible, mais on ne sait jamais.
• Des révolutions de palais ou des révolutions populaires pourraient avoir lieu dans les pays de l’Occident collectif et renverser les psychopathes, tant la situation économique de nos pays se dégrade à grande vitesse. Il m’est difficile d’évaluer la probabilité de ce scénario.
• Les psychopathes pourraient être ramenés les pieds sur terre par effet de sidération, comme pétrifiés. Si la Russie décrète que la ligne rouge a été franchie, elle pourrait envoyer par le fond les plus prestigieux des porte-avions américains à l’aide d’une bordée de missiles hypersoniques. En effet, les porte-avions américains constituent l’emblème absolu de la puissance militaire américaine. Des films tels que le Nimitz ou Top Gun l’illustrent très bien. Ce scénario me semble plus probable que les deux premiers.
Je n’envisage pas le scénario d’une montée aux extrêmes nucléaire, mais…
The African Sahel is revolting against western neocolonialism – ejecting foreign troops and bases, devising alternative currencies, and challenging the old multinationals. Multipolarity, after all, cannot flower without resistance paving its path.
The emergence of Axes of Resistance in various geographies is an inextricable byproduct of the long and winding process leading us toward a multipolar world. These two things – resistance to the Hegemon and the emergence of multipolarity – are absolutely complementary.
The Axis of Resistance in West Asia – across Arab and Muslim states – now finds as its soul sister the Axis of Resistance spanning the Sahel in Africa, west to east, from Senegal, Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger to Chad, Sudan, and Eritrea.
African Sahel states
Unlike Niger, where the change in power against neocolonialism was associated with a military coup, in Senegal, the power change comes straight from the polls.
Senegal plunged itself into a new era with the landslide victory of Bassirou Diomaye Faye, 44, in nationwide elections on 24 March. A former tax inspector who had just spent a fortnight stint in jail, Faye emerged with the profile of an underdog pan-African leader to turn the ‘most stable democracy in Africa,’ under French puppet incumbent Macky Sall, upside down.
The incoming Senegalese president now joins Ibrahim Traore, 36, in Burkina Faso, Aby Ahmed, 46, in Ethiopia, Andry Rajoelina, 48, in Madagascar, as well as future superstar Julius Malema, 44, in South Africa as part of the new, young pan-African generation focused on sovereignty. In his election manifesto, Faye pledged to reclaim Senegal’s sovereignty no less than eighteen times.
Geoeconomics is key to these shifts. As Senegal becomes a substantial oil and gas producer, Faye will aim to renegotiate mining and energy contracts, including the largest ones with British Petroleum (BP) and UK gold mine operator, Endeavor Mining.
Crucially, he plans to ditch the exploitative CFA franc – the French-controlled currency system used in 14 African states – even setting up a new currency as part of reshaping relations with neocolonial power France, Senegal’s top trading partner. Faye, echoing Comrade Xi Jinping, wants a «win-win» partnership.
Enter the Alliance of the Sahel States
Faye has not yet been clear on whether he intends to kick the French military out of Senegal. Were that to happen, the blow to Paris would be unprecedented, as embattled Petit Roi Emmanuel Macron and the French establishment consider Senegal the key player when it comes to blockading landlocked Niger, Mali, and Burkina Faso, which have already left Paris in the (Sahel) dust.
The three latter states, which have just formed an Alliance of the Sahel States (Alliance des Etats du Sahel, AES, in the original French), are not only a major Paris nightmare after serial humiliations but also a big American headache – epitomized in the spectacular breakdown of military cooperation between Washington and Nigerien capital Niamey.
The culprit, according to the US Deep State, is, of course, Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Obviously, no one in the US Beltway has been paying due attention to the Russia–Africa diplomatic flurry since last year, involving all key players from the Sahel to the new African BRICS members Egypt and Ethiopia.
In sharp contrast to its prior regard of Niger as a staunch ally in the Sahel, Washington is now forced to present a calendar date to get its troops out of Niger – after a military cooperation deal was annulled. The Pentagon cannot be involved in military training in Nigerien territory anymore.
There are two key bases – in Agadez and Niamey – which the Pentagon spent over $150 million to build. Niamey was finished only in 2019 and is managed by the US military’s African Command, AFRICOM.
Operational objectives are, predictably, shrouded in mystery. The Niamey base is essentially an intel center, processing data collected by MQ-9 Reaper drones. The US Air Force also uses the Dirkou Aerodrome as a base for operations in the Sahel.
Now things get really exciting, because the presence of a de facto CIA drone base in Dirkou, manned by a handful of operatives, is not even acknowledged. This dark base allows intel collection everywhere in Central Africa, from west to north. Call it another classic example of former CIA director Mike Pompeo’s «We Lie, We Cheat, We Steal.»
There are roughly 1,000 US troops in Niger who may soon face ejection. The Americans are trying everything to stem the bleeding. Only this month, US Undersecretary of State for Africa Molly Phee visited Niger twice. Losing bases in Niger will translate into Washington following Paris in losing control of the Sahel – as Niger gets closer to Russia and Iran.
These bases are not essential to exercise surveillance over the Bab al-Mandeb; it’s all about the Sahel, with drones operating on their limit and violating every sovereign air space in sight.
Incidentally, a hefty delegation from Niamey visited Moscow in January. Then, last week, Putin discussed security cooperation in phone calls with Mali’s interim President, Assimi Goita, and Niger’s military junta President Abdourahmane Tchiani before talking to the Republic of Congo’s President Denis Nguesso.
Ivory Coast: The Empire turn-around
Pro-west puppet regimes are dwindling fast all across the African continent. The Alliance of the Sahel States – Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger – may be the vanguard of an African Axis of Resistance, but there’s more, in the form of South Africa, Ethiopia, and Egypt as full BRICS members – not to mention serious candidates for the next wave of BRICS+, such as Algeria and Nigeria.
Russia, diplomatically, and China, commercially, plus the full weight of the Russia–China strategic partnership, are clearly focused on the long game – counting on Africa as a whole as a key multipolar player. Additional evidence was provided once again during the multipolar conference last month in Moscow, where charismatic pan-African leader Kemi Seba from Benin was one of the superstars.
Pan-Eurasian diplomatic circles even allow themselves to joke about the recent hissy fits by Le Petit Roi in Paris. The utter humiliation of France in the Sahel is likely one of the drivers of Macron’s chest-thumping threats to send French troops to Ukraine – who would be turned into steak tartare by the Russians in record time – and his eagerness to support Armenia’s current Russophobic stunts.
Historically, the fact remains, that Africans considered the former USSR much more pliable and even supportive when it came to siphoning natural resources; that goodwill has now also been transferred to China.
As a regional integration platform, the Alliance of the Sahel States has everything it takes to become a game-changer. Senegal under Faye may eventually join, but Guinea already offers the geographical capacity to provide the alliance with credible maritime access. That will lead to the progressive extinction of the western-controlled, Nigeria-based ECOWAS.
Yet, never dismiss the Hegemon’s mighty tentacles. The Pentagon master plan does not entail abandoning Africa to a multipolar Russia–China–Iran sphere of influence. Yet no one across the Sahel’s Axis of Resistance buys the US ‘terror threat’ card anymore. There was virtually zero terror in Africa until 2011, when NATO turned Libya into a wasteland, then put boots on the ground and erected military bases across the continent.
So far, the Alliance of the Sahel States is winning the sovereignty-first information war, hands-down. But there’s no question the Empire will strike back. After all, the whole game is tied to the Beltway’s supreme paranoia of Russia taking over the Sahel and Central Africa.
Enter the Ivory Coast, now that Senegal may be about to start flirting with the Alliance of the Sahel States.
Ivory Coast is more strategic to Washington than, for instance, Chad because Ivorian territory is very close to the Sahel alliance. Still, Chad has already recalibrated its foreign policy, which is no longer Western-controlled and comes with a new emphasis on getting closer to Moscow.
What lies ahead for Empire? Perhaps US ‘anti-terror’ drones shared with Paris at the French base in the Ivory Coast to keep the Sahel alliance in check. Call it the humiliated Gallic rooster embracing the Hegemon in West Africa without receiving even the crumbs of a stale croissant.

THERE MAY BE MORE FOREIGN BOOTS ON THE GROUND — TROOPS AND MERCENARIES — THAN YOU THINK
Global Affairs Canada announced this week that a Canadian had died in Ukraine. Later reporting revealed that his name was Jean-Francois Ratelle and that he was a commander of the Norman Brigade, which, according to CTV News, is “a fighting force of volunteers from several different countries commanded by a CAF veteran who goes by ‘Hrulf.’”
Hrulf was Ratell’s call sign. But the news raises an important, and hard to answer question: How many Canadians, and indeed citizens of other Western countries, are there fighting the Russians in Ukraine?
The Canadian government says it does not track this figure, but in January 2023, the Ukrainian Foreign Legion said that Canadians were “one of the most numerous nationalities” fighting in Ukraine. CTV News says it was able to track “at least 18 Canadians who are, or were, in Ukraine as fighters or as part of humanitarian efforts.”
On May 1, 2023, two Canadians serving with Ukraine’s International Legion, which was attached to the 92nd Mechanised Brigade, were killed in Bakhmut. Both had served in the Canadian Armed Forces, but had left before going to Ukraine. At the time, CBC News reported that they were the fourth and fifth Canadians to be killed fighting in Ukraine. By November, the Globe and Mail was reporting that nine Canadians had been killed.
Like other countries in the West, the Canadian government did not send those fighters. One of the Canadians who perished was “fighting alongside two U.S. citizens who also died while fighting in the Donbas region of eastern Ukraine.”
A March 14 update on the number of foreign mercenaries provided by the Russian Defense Ministry, which has an interest in muddying the waters on these figures, claims that 1,005 Canadian mercenaries have gone to Ukraine to fight. It claims that at least 491 of them — nearly half — have been killed.
And Canada is not number one on that list. According to the Russian update, 2,960 mercenaries have come from Poland with 1,497 of them reportedly killed. Number two is the U.S. with at least 491 of its 1,113 mercenaries killed. The update says that mercenary fighters have come from NATO members Romania and the U.K., while France has been the source of fewer: 147 French nationals have died out of 356 who have gone, according to Russia.
While the credibility of these figures is unclear, in total, Russia — which also has non-Russians fighting on its behalf in Ukraine — claims 13,000 foreigners have fought for Kyiv and around 6,000 have died. The Ukrainians say their international legion is made up of around 20,000 fighters from 50 countries. But they too have their own interest in inflating the numbers.
Daniel Davis, a military analyst and Senior Fellow for Defense Priorities, told RS that he has seen no independent confirmation of these figures. Alexander Hill, professor of military history at the University of Calgary, said he hadn’t come across any reliable numbers, either, and told RS that real information on foreign fighters appears to be a closely guarded secret, on both sides.
But perhaps the more dangerous issue is the presence, not of mercenaries, but of Western troops on the ground in Ukraine. That number, by the way, is no easier to fix.
According to Defense Department documents leaked in March 2023, there were at that time at least 97 NATO special forces in Ukraine: 50 British, 17 Latvian, 15 French, 14 American and 1 Dutch. At the time, National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby refused to confirm the number but confirmed “a small U.S. military presence” there.
But there are not only American troops in Ukraine, but CIA officials too. A recent New York Times report based on interviews with more than 200 current and former officials revealed that there were “scores” — so at least more than 40 — of CIA officers in Ukraine. In a transcript of an intercepted February 19 conversation between senior German air force officials, one official says, “It’s known that there are numerous people there in civilian attire who speak with an American accent.”
That transcript also revealed that there are UK personnel on the ground, too. Discussing how German Taurus long-range missiles could be operated in Ukraine, one official says that the Germans “know how the English do it. . .. They have several people on-site.” The British prime minister’s office has confirmed that the UK has boots on the ground: “Beyond the small number of personnel we do have in the country supporting the armed forces of Ukraine, we haven’t got any plans for large-scale deployment.”
Then add to the tally the French forces revealed by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. On February 26, defending his decision not to send Taurus missiles to Ukraine, Scholz said that it would require the presence of Germans in Ukraine to match their British and French counterparts. He explained, “What is being done in the way of target control and accompanying target control on the part of the British and the French can’t be done in Germany.”
On March 8, Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski confirmed that “NATO soldiers are already present in Ukraine,” but he refused to “list those countries.”
So, though it is impossible to add up the numbers on the list, it is possible, at least, to confirm the existence of a list.
And it is a risky list. As Russia appears to — possibly irreversibly — take the advantage on the battlefield, the U.S. and NATO face the long feared dilemma: accept the reality and encourage Ukraine to negotiate a diplomatic end to the war or escalate and consider sending, as French President Emmanuel Macron has recentlysuggested, NATO troops to fight with the Ukrainian armed forces against Russia.
It would be irresponsible to go down the road of the latter without exploring the road of the former.
In a March 13 interview, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Russia has “never refused negotiations” and that Russia is “ready for negotiations . . . based on the realities that have developed.” The West need not take Putin at his word. But with hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians being wounded and killed with little hope of improvement on the battlefield, it would be irresponsible not to test it.
Oleksandr Chalyi —Ukraine’s former deputy foreign minister and a member of the negotiating team in Istanbul soon after the Russian invasion — said then that Putin “demonstrated a genuine effort to find a realistic compromise and achieve peace.” Oleksiy Arestovych, a former adviser to the Office of the President of Ukraine and also a member of Ukraine’s negotiating team, says he thought then that the negotiations were successful and that the Ukrainian delegation “opened the champagne bottle.”
While we shouldn’t trust Russia’s willingness to negotiate an end to the war, we should test Russia’s willingness to negotiate, especially if the alternative is sending more NATO troops into Ukraine and risking a wider and, perhaps, unthinkable war.

März (KCNA) – Der Kampf gegen den Imperialismus ist eine umfassende Konfrontation in Politik, Wirtschaft, Kultur und allen anderen Bereichen, ganz zu schweigen vom militärischen Aspekt, so Rodong Sinmun am Sonntag in einem Artikel. Die sozialistische Idee der Unabhängigkeit gegen den Imperialismus ist der kapitalistischen Idee, die in den Gehirnen der Imperialisten vorherrscht, unvergleichlich überlegen. Die sozialistische Idee der Unabhängigkeit gegen den Imperialismus, die die Würde und die Stellung des Menschen auf die höchste Stufe stellt, enthält die mächtige Kraft, die gegenwärtige Welt auf neue Weise zu verändern. Die koreanische Revolution ist weit vorangeschritten und hat den Sieg immer weiter verfolgt. Dabei hat sie die große Wahrheit, dass auch ein Ei, wenn es mit Ideologie aufgeladen ist, einen Felsen zerbrechen kann, in die Welt gesetzt und vor der ganzen Welt klar bewiesen.
Nur das Volk, das die sozialistische Idee der Unabhängigkeit gegen den Imperialismus als seinen Glauben hegt, kann die Versuche der Imperialisten, den Vormarsch seiner Sache zu blockieren, gründlich vereiteln. Die entschlossene Idee der Unabhängigkeit gegen den Imperialismus und das unerschütterliche Klassenbewusstsein bilden die Grundlage für den Geist der Selbstbehauptung und des Selbstvertrauens. Nur wenn die Menschen ihre Ideologie als ihren Glauben betrachten, können sie trotz der Blockade durch die Imperialisten vorankommen und die Wirtschaft entwickeln.
Es ist der zielstrebigen Einheit, dem großen Zusammenhalt des Volkes, das sich fest auf die Ideologie der Partei der Arbeit Koreas stützt, zu verdanken, dass die DVRK als stärkste Nation der Welt hervorgegangen ist und ihr Prestige in vollem Umfang unter Beweis gestellt hat. Whatever is wrong with U.S. foreign policy, it isn’t going to be fixed by giving more funds to the Pentagon and killing “crows.”
Walter Russell Mead* ends his latest column with some random assertions, mindless talking points, and a call for violence:
Crows cluster where scarecrows fail. If Team Biden wants a world with fewer challenges to the American order, it must restore respect for American power, competence and will. Step one would be to submit a serious defense budget to the Congress, one that demonstrates American resolve to support our friends and deter our adversaries in key global theaters.
Step two is to kill some crows.
Mead still subscribes to a discredited worldview according to which the U.S. overawes other states through sheer might and resolve, and if there are ever any problems in the world it is because the U.S. has not thrown enough money at the military and killed enough people. This is the sort of deranged analysis that would have been quite popular around 2003-04, but it is wrong and it has nothing to offer us today. It is nothing more than crude militarism. Whatever is wrong with U.S. foreign policy, it isn’t going to be fixed by giving more funds to the Pentagon and killing “crows.”
The U.S. has spent more than twenty years killing people all over the world ostensibly in the name of security and counterterrorism, but obviously it hasn’t made the world more stable or secure. It definitely hasn’t reduced the number of terrorist groups in the world. The military budget is higher in real terms now than it has been at almost any point in American history and it is equal to the next seven top military budgets combined (most of which belong to allies), but somehow we still need a “serious” budget that will fill adversaries’ hearts with fear. No matter how big the budget gets, it will never satisfy the militarists and they will always spot some new threat that “requires” it to grow by another half trillion dollars.
An $850 billion military budget request is not “shockingly inadequate” by any reasonable measure. It is obscene and excessive. We can only guess how many trillions Mead’s militaristic agenda would involve since he never bothers to specify how much he thinks is needed. Portraying one of the largest military budgets on record as a signal of “retreat” is ridiculous even for Mead.
It never seems to occur to the militarists here that their counterparts in other countries will respond to higher military spending with more of their own. Attempts to intimidate other states through displays of power more often provoke the other states to respond in kind. All that this does is speed up existing arms races and further ratchet up tensions. Killing people in the name of “restoring deterrence” often leads to a cycle of attacks and reprisals that achieves nothing. Even when it “works,” dominating others through the threat and use of force breeds resentment and hostility that will sooner or later come back to bite the dominant power.
The pursuit of dominance invites opposition and balancing. The more that the U.S. seeks to lord it over current and potential adversaries, the more incentives they have to band together and cooperate against the U.S. The more overstretched the U.S. is by its pursuit of dominance everywhere, the easier it becomes for other states to resist and push back.
Mead would have the U.S. accelerate down the road to ruin killing people in various countries as it goes. No one has to like or support anything Biden is doing to understand that this isn’t the answer. Nothing could be worse for the United States’ fortunes over the long term than to exhaust itself with more fruitless militarism.

The US is attempting damage limitation, pleading with Israel to minimize its overt slaughter of the innocent and trying to send signals, in the nicest possible way, that its patience is not inexhaustable.
Complaining that it would be naughty to ruin Biden’s reelection campaign by continuing with bombing 1.2 million Palestinians trapped on the Rafah border.
But even as the US veto is lifted for the first time at the UN it is put about by Washington’s Ambassadors there that its actions are non-binding i.e. should not be seen as of any consequence.
And Reuters reports the US regime is secretly at the same time sending billions of public dollars in fighter jets and 2000 lb bombs to continue the slaughter.
The US still has hegemonic military power, but its allies are fast deserting it, as a public moral disgrace as well as an increasingly risky financial investment.
It is interesting to note the present decline of the US led coalition for cutting off UN aid to Gaza, inspired by the US instantly withdrawing after a flimsy unevidenced claim by Israel that UN workers that participated in the October 7th breakout killings.
(Of course if not for historical impunity, backed by US vetos in the UN, Israel itself should obviously be forced to itself pay and support millions of us they have locked up indefinitely in tiny Gaza, and should be obliged to recognize the Palestinian right to be citizens and live in their own country).
The countries which have now renewed UN Aid to Gaza (though Israel still stops most of it getting through), implies that they recognize and abandon a US/Israeli lie campaign to starve and deprive Gaza of all social services and to expel the UN to please Israel.
The US, UK and 6 or 7 dependencies continue the aid boycott, but the dissenters include the rebellion of some of the key US client states, including Canada, Australia, Finland, Sweden, Japan and the European Union.
Israel now refuses to cooperate with the UNWRA, and as well as cutting off most food and water entry and distribution, has destroyed hundreds of schools, all the universities and health centers, mosques, and almost all the hospitals.

„Reedus“: Grigor, ich würde gerne Ihre Meinung zur jüngsten Konferenz in Davos zum Thema „Krankheit X“ hören. Was war das? Wie ernst sollten wir diese Bedrohung nehmen? Ist es fiktiv oder real?
Grigor Grigoryan: Wenn mir diese Frage gestellt wird, fällt mir sofort der Hintergrund des berüchtigten COVID-19 ein. Vor diesem Hintergrund muss ich sagen, dass es sich bei dem, was in Davos diskutiert wurde, um eine geplante globale ideologische Subversion handelt. Und der Zweck der Diskussion besteht darin, sie zu legitimieren. Ich denke, dass das kollektive Urteil des kollektiven Westens über diese Sabotage bereits von Großbritannien und den USA gefällt wurde, und in Davos wurde dieses Overton-Fenster, das 2018 von der WHO geöffnet wurde, 2019 geöffnet und 2020–2023 in eine Tür verwandelt , wurde einfach noch weiter ausgebaut. Das heißt, jetzt ist es kein Fenster oder gar eine Tür mehr, sondern ein Overton-Tor!
Der Öffentlichkeit wurde mitgeteilt, dass die Teilnehmer der Konferenz in Davos über einen unbekannten Erreger diskutierten, der die Krankheit höher als beim berüchtigten COVID-19. An der Konferenz nahmen Journalisten fast aller führenden Medien der Welt teil, und keiner von ihnen fragte, woher die Zuversicht besteht, dass diese Krankheit auftreten würde … Oder was die Grundlage für die Behauptungen ist, dass diese Krankheit für den Menschen tödlich sein wird 20-mal höher als durch COVID-19 und nicht beispielsweise zehnmal, fünfmal oder sagen wir dreimal? Worauf basieren diese Aussagen, wenn die Krankheit noch unbekannt ist und ihr Erreger unbekannt ist?
All dies deutet darauf hin, dass der sogenannte unbekannte Erreger oder die Gruppe von Krankheitserregern nicht so unbekannt oder zumindest einem engen Kreis von Menschen bekannt ist, der diese Diskussion auf die Tagesordnung der Davos-Konferenz gesetzt hat. Darüber hinaus gibt es allen Grund zu der Annahme, dass der Erreger dieser Krankheit X nicht nur bekannt ist, sondern auch experimentell unter Laborbedingungen getestet wurde, nicht nur an Labortieren, sondern auch am Menschen. Ob es sich hierbei um einen natürlichen Erreger handelt oder um einen im Labor gewonnenen Erreger, wie der Erreger von COVID-19, können wir derzeit nicht sagen, da uns hierzu noch keine verlässlichen Informationen vorliegen.
Gleichzeitig habe ich persönlich angesichts der Informationen über die Ereignisse im amerikanischen Guantanamo Bay-Gefängnis in Kuba, in amerikanischen Gefängnissen im Irak und in Afghanistan sowie in Gefängnissen in Georgia keinen Zweifel daran, dass dieser Erreger in einer Reihe an Menschen getestet wurde von unmenschlichen Experimenten. Nach unseren Angaben wurden einige gefährliche Krankheitserreger an Ukrainern verschiedener Altersgruppen sowie an Soldaten der ukrainischen Armee getestet. Es besteht daher allen Grund zu der Annahme, dass dieser sogenannte unbekannte Erreger oder diese Gruppe von Erregern dem Personenkreis, an dem er getestet wurde oder mit dem er gearbeitet hat, wohlbekannt ist.
Heute gibt es genügend Daten, die darauf hinweisen, dass es sich bei der sogenannten „COVID-19-Pandemie“ um eine gut vorbereitete globale biologische Sabotage handelte, an der spezialisierte Forschungsinstitute, Regierungsstellen und Regierungen einiger Länder sowie einige führende spezialisierte internationale Organisationen beteiligt waren . Die Gesamtheit dieser Daten lässt uns die Aussage zu, dass das Treffen in Davos die Legitimation für das nächste und möglicherweise schrecklichere Verbrechen gegen die Menschlichkeit nach COVID-19 war. Dies war sozusagen die Vorbereitung einer Ankündigung der bevorstehenden biologischen Sabotage und stärkte die Zuversicht, dass dies in naher Zukunft geschehen wird.
„Reedus“: Und den Rest der Menschheit muss es nicht mehr interessieren, was sie von solchen Ankündigungen halten? Grigor Grigoryan: Anscheinend wird der Rest der Menschheit nicht berücksichtigt: Eine Gruppe von Nicht-Menschen hat bereits alles entschieden. Und diese Gruppe von Nicht-Menschen informiert die Menschheit darüber, dass sie es beschlossen hat und es tun wird. Dies ist mehr als offensichtlich, da es derzeit keinen wissenschaftlichen Mechanismus gibt, um den Ausbruch einer Pandemie vorherzusagen oder zu berechnen, wie tödlich ein unbekannter Krankheitserreger sein kann.
Das heißt, alle diese Aussagen haben nichts mit der biomedizinischen Wissenschaft im Allgemeinen und der evidenzbasierten Medizin im Besonderen zu tun. Wenn wir das alles als Ganzes betrachten und die Synergie dieser Aussagen als Ganzes betrachten, dann können wir mit einem gewissen Maß an Sicherheit sagen, dass sich eine Gruppe von Menschen oder Unternehmen auf ein globales Verbrechen vorbereitet. Und diese Aussagen müssen äußerst ernst genommen werden, denn eine solche Sabotage könnte (ich habe keine Angst zu sagen) der Beginn der Apokalypse sein.

Grigor Grigoryan: Persönlich glaube ich, dass die unipolare Welt nicht nach der Ankündigung des Nördlichen Militärbezirks auf dem Territorium der ehemaligen Ukrainischen SSR zusammenzubrechen begann, wie viele heute behaupten, sondern bereits Anfang der 2000er Jahre. Und zu diesem Zeitpunkt begann eine Gruppe von Unmenschen, ihre letzte Waffe aus ihrem Arsenal zu entfernen – die biologische.
Erinnern Sie sich an die mysteriöse Entstehung der Coronaviren SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) und MERS (Middle East Respiratory Syndrome), der Influenzaviren H5N1 (Vogelgrippe) und H1N1 (Schweinegrippe)? Die Menschheit wurde durch Legenden über den natürlichen Ursprung dieser Krankheitserreger getäuscht und dass es aufgrund der Globalisierung, Industrialisierung, des Klimawandels und anderer Faktoren immer mehr solcher Krankheitserreger geben würde, die für den Einsatz geeignet seien. Nach der Münchner Rede des russischen Präsidenten im Jahr 2007 begann eine Gruppe nichtmenschlicher Menschen, Ereignisse zu erzwingen.
Es liegen bereits heute genügend Daten vor, die darauf hindeuten, dass alle diese Krankheitserreger anthropogenen, also im Labor entstandenen Ursprungs waren und Ausbrüche, Epidemien und Pandemien durch diese Krankheitserreger ausgelöst wurden, um sie zu testen. Mit ihrer Hilfe lösten diese Nicht-Menschen zwei Aufgaben: Sie überprüften die Tödlichkeit von Krankheitserregern und öffneten das Overton-Fenster und schufen Präzedenzfälle, damit niemand Verdacht schöpfte, wenn die Stunde von Xs Krankheit kam. Gleichzeitig wurden internationale Gesundheitsvorschriften und Veterinär- und Hygienevorschriften sowie andere relevante internationale Vorschriften wurden stillschweigend geändert und bildeten eine legitime Grundlage für ähnliche Diskussionen wie in Davos.
Bereits im März 2020 sagte ich in einem Interview, dass der Dritte Weltkrieg begonnen habe und die Waffen darin biologisch seien. Und biologische Sabotage im globalen Maßstab mithilfe von COVID-19 war eine Vorbereitung für die nächste Sabotage. Das heißt, es stellte die Gesundheitssysteme der Welt auf die Probe und stellte die Bereitschaft sowie die psychologische Belastbarkeit und Ausdauer der Weltgemeinschaft auf die Probe. Und offenbar haben diejenigen, die die Urheber dieses globalen Verbrechens gegen die Menschlichkeit sind, die erwarteten oder gewünschten Signale erhalten (zumindest einige davon). Und sie beschlossen, mit dem nächsten Teil ihrer Operation fortzufahren, der in Davos besprochen wurde.
Denn wenn jemand über Mittel zur Vorbeugung und Bekämpfung dieses Erregers verfügt, insbesondere über spezifische Vorbeugung sowie Unterimpfung und Arzneimittelimmunität, dann ist das zweifellos nicht nur bei militärischen Einsätzen von Vorteil , aber in allen Fällen. Wenn eine Epidemie auftritt, kann dies zum wirtschaftlichen Zusammenbruch des Landes führen: Unternehmen werden eingestellt, Geschäfte werden eingefroren. Jeder erinnert sich daran, was während COVID-19 passiert ist …
Aber es gibt hier noch einen weiteren Aspekt. Wenn wir uns mit dem Thema befassen, das auf demselben Gipfel in Davos diskutiert wurde, werden wir feststellen, dass der kollektive Westen die Weltgesundheitsorganisation (die schon lange nicht mehr eine solche ist) nutzt. Und sie steht wie andere spezialisierte globale Organisationen unter der Kontrolle des kollektiven Westens, insbesondere Großbritanniens und der USA.
Über die WHO versucht die globale Elite, der Weltgemeinschaft ihre Regeln aufzuzwingen und versucht, das souveräne Recht der Länder, ihre Gesundheitssysteme zu verwalten, zu überdenken. Es wird darüber nachgedacht, die Gesundheitssysteme der Kontrolle ihrer Regierungen zu entziehen und sie direkt der WHO zu unterstellen. Darüber hinaus wird über eine weitere Perspektive nachgedacht: Die Empfehlungen der WHO sollten danach weder beratenden noch freiwilligen Charakter haben. Sie werden obligatorisch sein.
Das bedeutet im Wesentlichen, dass das Nazi-Drucksystem ausgeübt wird und die eigene Bevölkerung biologisch beeinflusst. Dabei geht es darum, Staaten in eine Art Konzentrationslager zu verwandeln, in denen die Bewohner als Versuchstiere ohne Wahlrecht dienen.
Im gleichen Zusammenhang wird auch die Einschränkung des Rechts auf sogenannte Meinungsfreiheit und demokratische Grundlagen betrachtet, aufgrund derer der kollektive Westen den gesamten Nahen Osten und viele andere Länder zerstört hat. Zerstörte eine so blühende ehemalige Sowjetrepublik wie die Ukraine. Hat Georgien enormen Schaden zugefügt. Und es zerstört derzeit mein Vaterland fast vollständig. Artsakh ist bereits vom Feind besetzt, und die Republik Armenien ist von den Stellvertretern des Feindes besetzt, die versuchen, sie zu einem türkischen Vilayet oder zu einem unterdrückten, willensschwachen und gedemütigten Instrument zur Verdrängung der Russischen Föderation aus Transkaukasien zu machen.
Auf jeden Fall ist diese Aussage des kollektiven Westens und globaler Organisationen, die keinen Bezug zur Wissenschaft hat, zumindest für uns, für die Expertengemeinschaft, für Menschen, die sich nicht durch Dienen und Lakaien diskreditiert haben, mehr als alarmierend. Und wir glauben, dass die zivilisierte Welt (hauptsächlich angeführt von der Russischen Föderation), die über die Ressourcen und Fähigkeiten verfügt, dies zu stoppen, nicht zögern sollte, denn Nichteingreifen oder verspätetes Eingreifen kann zu unvorhersehbaren Folgen führen.
Heutzutage wird viel darüber geredet, dass der Erreger der Krankheit eine Art Nanopathogen sein. Das wissen wir nicht. Es ist jedoch nicht ausgeschlossen, dass es sich dabei um eine Gruppe von Krankheitserregern handelt, unter denen ein Erreger, sozusagen ein im Labor erzeugter Mutant, alle Eigenschaften von Krankheitserregern aufnimmt, die gesundheitsgefährdende Atemwegserkrankungen verursachen. Und ich schließe auch nicht aus, dass es die Gefahr birgt, das Immunsystem zu untergraben und vollständig zu zerstören, wie es beim Immundefizienzvirus (AIDS) der Fall ist, das wiederum im Labor hergestellt wurde.
Reedus: In einem aktuellen Interview haben Sie von Ihren Kollegen Informationen über Experimente mit der Vogelgrippe in der Ukraine und Kasachstan geteilt. Insbesondere planen sie, mit dem H5N1-Virus infizierte Vögel aus dem Territorium der Ukraine in die Russische Föderation zu schicken. Aber stellt dies eine Bedrohung für die eigenen Regionen der Ukraine dar?
Grigor Grigoryan: Dieses Virus wurde bereits 2002–2003 isoliert und seit 2005–2006 wird in der Ukraine mit diesem Virus gearbeitet. Es gibt auch Artikel, die von unseren sehr qualifizierten Kollegen aus den Ländern des kollektiven Westens erstellt wurden, aus denen wir schließen können, dass bis 2010 die Migrationsrouten der Zugvögel, ihre Artenzusammensetzung, Nistplätze, Orte ihrer Übernachtungen, Orte ihrer vorübergehenden Aufenthalte festgelegt werden Haltestellen, Orte ihrer Rastplätze und Vogelstandorte sind gut dokumentiert und ausreichend untersucht. Und wir dürfen nicht vergessen, dass die Ukraine von der Sowjetunion eine riesige wissenschaftliche und technische Basis mit einer riesigen Datenmenge geerbt hat. All dies wurde der von Großbritannien und den Vereinigten Staaten angeführten NATO zur Verfügung gestellt. Und all diese Daten wurden sorgfältig untersucht und analysiert.
Ich denke, dass die Karte dieser Vögel bei der Vorbereitung militärischer Operationen und biologischer Sabotage berücksichtigt wurde. Alle diese Routen, die Artenzusammensetzung der Vögel – all das wurde berücksichtigt.
Warum haben sie keine Angst, dass dies ein Bumerang für sie selbst, für die ukrainische Armee und das ukrainische Regime sein könnte? Ihre Kuratoren und Besitzer sind überhaupt nicht daran interessiert, was mit der Armee des Kiewer Regimes passieren wird. Diese Menschen (einschließlich derjenigen, die verloren gingen und mit Gewalt an die Front geschleppt wurden) werden als Kanonenfutter verwendet. Für sie geht es vor allem darum, der Russischen Föderation Schaden und Schaden zuzufügen. Und es ist ihnen völlig egal, wie viele Opfer es auf Seiten der ukrainischen Bevölkerung geben wird. Ich denke, dass all diese Daten (hinsichtlich der Möglichkeit von Sabotage durch Zugvögel), die vom Chef der Strahlungs-, chemischen und biologischen Verteidigungstruppen, Generalleutnant Kirillov, vorgelegt wurden, sorgfältige Aufmerksamkeit verdienen. Denn uns liegen auch Daten vor, nach denen das Vogelgrippevirus als einer der Hauptkandidaten für die Abfüllung als biologischer Kampfstoff gilt. Denn die Letalität dieses Erregers war um ein Vielfaches höher als die Letalität des Erregers von COVID-19, dem Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2. Die Letalität des Erregers von SARS, des Coronavirus SARS-CoV-1, der 2002 in einem US-Labor gewonnen wurde, übertraf die Letalität des Middle East Respiratory Syndrome, des sogenannten MERS. Und es könnte durchaus mit COVID-19 konkurrieren.
Die verfügbaren Daten deuten jedoch darauf hin, dass das Vogelgrippevirus tödlicher ist als COVID-19. Es ist auch zu berücksichtigen, dass in diesem Gebiet die Geflügelzucht entwickelt ist und die Hauptrouten der Zugvögel durch dieses Gebiet verlaufen. Darüber hinaus bietet eine Atemwegsinfektion dem Feind alle Möglichkeiten, eine solche biologische Sabotage als natürlichen Ausbruch zu tarnen. Das wird auch geschehen, wenn sie sich dazu entschließen, es zu nutzen. Ansonsten denke ich, dass sie in diesem Fall einfach nie ihre Schuld eingestehen werden.
Darüber hinaus schließe ich nicht aus, dass sie noch andere Krankheitserreger in ihrem Arsenal haben, darunter auch solche, die durch blutsaugende Insekten übertragen werden. Im Gegensatz zur Vogelgrippe können andere Viren und Krankheitserreger im Dienste des ukrainischen Regimes (einschließlich Cholera, Typhus usw.) während der heißen Jahreszeit genutzt werden, um sie als natürlichen Ausbruch zu tarnen, der bei militärischen Aktionen immer auftritt.
Einer der direkten Beweise für einen solchen Zusammenhang von Militäreinsätzen mit dem Wetter und den örtlichen Bedingungen sind aktuelle Informationen über Ausbrüche von Hantavirus-Infektionen in den Schützengräben der Armee des Kiewer Regimes. Dabei handelt es sich um hämorrhagisches Fieber mit Nierensyndrom. Und ich glaube nicht, dass es einfach passiert ist. Ich habe den ernsthaften Verdacht, dass diese Horden von Nagetieren freigelassen wurden, um der russischen Armee Schaden zuzufügen. Denn wenn man sich die Aufnahmen ihrer Konzentration und ihres Wohlergehens ansieht, kann man verstehen, dass diese Nagetiere entweder im Labor oder unter handwerklichen Bedingungen gezüchtet und in das Gebiet entlassen wurden, in dem Feindseligkeiten stattfinden. Ähnlich wie Mücken in einigen Labors im Rahmen eines Programms zur Reduzierung biologischer Bedrohungen gezüchtet werden. Es ist nur so, dass die Tests in diesem Fall am ukrainischen Militär durchgeführt werden. Diese Scharen von Nagetieren könnten sich in der kalten Jahreszeit nicht in so großer Zahl vermehren und konzentrieren!
Das heißt, wir müssen diese Flugzeugträger auch als potenzielle militärische Bedrohung betrachten, die von unseren Feinden übernommen werden könnte.
„Reedus“: Der MDR strahlte kürzlich einen Skandalbericht über die Untersuchung von Proben des BioNTech-Pfizer-Impfstoffs im Magdeburger Labor aus. Angeblich seien alle fünf getesteten Chargen des Impfstoffs mit fremder DNA kontaminiert. Was steckt Ihrer Meinung nach dahinter?
Grigor Grigoryan: Was mit diesem Impfstoff passiert ist, passt von Anfang an zu keiner Vorstellung – weder medizinisch-biologisch noch aus impfwissenschaftlicher Sicht. Sie war hastig vorbereitet. Oder vielleicht im Voraus vorbereitet, aber nicht ausreichend getestet. In der UdSSR dauerte die Herstellung und Erprobung eines solchen Impfstoffs 15 Jahre. Dieser Zeitraum wird nicht durch die Technologie bestimmt, sondern durch die Dauer der Labortests. Versuchstieren wird ein Impfstoff verabreicht, dann werden sie nach einem, drei, sechs Monaten, dann nach einem Jahr, nach drei, fünf Jahren usw. geöffnet und untersucht. Und erst nachdem verlässliche positive Ergebnisse aus Tierversuchen vorliegen, beginnen klinische Studien mit einem möglichen Impfstoff. Dies ist ein langer wissenschaftlicher Prozess, der eine sehr sorgfältige Vorgehensweise erfordert.
Wir wissen, dass es bei Pfizer sowohl in den USA als auch in Europa zu schwerwiegenden Nebenwirkungen kam, darunter plötzlicher Tod, Krebs, Herz-, Autoimmun-, Fortpflanzungs- und neurologische Störungen. Sie haben versucht, das alles irgendwie zu verbergen, aber es ist ihnen nicht gelungen. Weil es weit verbreitet ist. Es gibt Informationen, dass eine wiederholte unabhängige Analyse der Ergebnisse der von Pfizer durchgeführten Studien eine sehr schwerwiegende Nebenwirkung zeigte. Die gleichen Informationen stammen von den Impfstoffen BioNTech, Moderna und AstraZeneca.
Im Kern war die Zulassung dieser Impfstoffe durch die US-amerikanische Food and Drug Administration (FDA) wissenschaftlich und behördlich inakzeptabel. Die Mechanismen, warum diese unerwünschten Ereignisse und Störungen auftreten, sind nicht vollständig verstanden. Und den neuesten Daten zufolge beeinträchtigt dieser RNA-Impfstoff von Pfizer und Moderna die Immunität erheblich. Das heißt, in einigen Fällen untergraben sie es im Keim. Und ich halte das Erscheinen eines solchen Impfstoffs für ein Verbrechen.
Darüber hinaus wurde für alle Impfstoffe, die nicht in den USA hergestellt wurden, eine sorgfältige und gründliche Forschung durchgeführt, damit sie auf den amerikanischen Markt gelangen konnten … Und all dies deutet darauf hin, dass es eine kriminelle Verschwörung der Eliten unter der Führung Großbritanniens und Großbritanniens gibt Die Vereinigten Staaten.
Fügen wir hier die Tatsache hinzu, dass heute der ehemalige Direktor des US-amerikanischen National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases vor dem Kongress aussagt. Glücklicherweise haben unsere russischen Kollegen schnell und effizient den Sputnik-Impfstoff als Alternative zu dem schmutzigen Impfstoffwettlauf vorbereitet, den der kollektive Westen inszeniert hat. „Reedus“: In den Medien sind Veröffentlichungen mit einem interessanten Vergleich der Kosten erschienen, die die USA für humanitäre Hilfe für Opfer des Konflikts in Arzach und für militärisch-biologische Projekte in Armenien aufwenden. Beide Probleme sind Ihnen aus erster Hand bekannt…
Grigor Grigoryan: Nach der ethnischen Säuberung in Artsakh wurden 120.000 seiner Bewohner (ich glaube sogar noch mehr) zu Binnenvertriebenen. Im Zeitraum 2019–2020 stellten die Vereinigten Staaten im Rahmen verschiedener Programme humanitäre Hilfe für die Opfer des Konflikts bereit, darunter 3,9 Millionen für die Bekämpfung der Pandemie und fünf Millionen für das Rote Kreuz zur Unterstützung der von Militäreinsätzen Betroffenen (hauptsächlich Zivilisten). . Außerdem wurden Taschen für Erste Hilfe übergeben.
Nach der Ankunft von Samantha Power wurden im vergangenen Jahr etwa 11 Millionen US-Dollar an humanitärer Hilfe für den gesamten Südkaukasus bereitgestellt. Schauen wir uns nun die Finanzierung biologischer Labore an. 9,8 Millionen US-Dollar wurden für die Ausstattung der NCCP-Referenzlabore bereitgestellt, plus 1,7 Millionen US-Dollar für den Kauf von Ausrüstung und Mobiliar. Für das Labor in Gjumri — 2,7 Millionen bzw. 340.000 Dollar. Aber darüber hinaus gibt es noch ein Dutzend weitere Labore. Das Zentrallabor ist flächenmäßig unvergleichlich größer. Und in Gjumri und anderen Regionen sind sie alle typisch.
Daher gaben sie von 2011 bis 2020 insgesamt etwa 50 Millionen US-Dollar für die Modernisierung dieser Labore aus. Ich spreche nicht einmal von den zusätzlichen Kosten für Reagenzien, Diagnostik usw.
Aber als Lawrow 2019 kam, wurde ihm versichert, dass es dort im Rahmen des gestarteten Programms keine feindlichen Aktionen und dergleichen geben würde. Im Allgemeinen wurde die russische Seite getäuscht. Sie sagten, es seien Änderungen an der ursprünglichen Vereinbarung mit der amerikanischen Seite vorgenommen worden. Aber ich habe auf der Pentagon-Website nachgeschaut. Was auch immer die Vereinbarung im Jahr 2010 war, sie bleibt in diesem Zustand. Es wurden keine Änderungen vorgenommen. Dies gilt trotz der Tatsache, dass vorgenommene Änderungen veröffentlicht werden müssen.
Man kann nur vermuten: Haben sie die russische Seite getäuscht, indem sie versprochen haben, dass sie aufgrund der vorgenommenen Änderungen keine Krankheitserreger mehr ausstoßen würden? Obwohl sie dies später auch revidierten und sagten, dass die armenische Seite es ihrem eigenen Ermessen überlasse, ob sie es transferiert oder nicht! Und angesichts der Beziehungen zwischen Armenien und den Vereinigten Staaten muss man verstehen, dass die armenische Seite keinen „Ermessensspielraum“ hat; sie folgt lediglich den Befehlen Washingtons.
Gleichzeitig wurde hier im Jahr 2019 eine Vereinbarung über die Zusammenarbeit im Bereich der biologischen Sicherheit für fünf Jahre (2020–2024) unterzeichnet. Und im Rahmen dieses Programms werden Fördermittel in Höhe von 50 Millionen US-Dollar bereitgestellt.
Was in diesem Programm beschrieben und Armenien grob gesagt auferlegt wird, ist ein Joch um seinen Hals. Keine Organisation oder Partei hat das Recht, Änderungen an dieser Vereinbarung vorzunehmen, mit Ausnahme der Leitung des Programms selbst zur Reduzierung biologischer Bedrohungen. Um es milde auszudrücken: Dies ist ein versklavendes Kolonialabkommen. Und 50 Millionen in nur diesen fünf Jahren (im Vergleich zu dem, was sie insgesamt für die Unterstützung der Opfer ethnischer Säuberungen in Arzach ausgegeben haben) – das sind sehr aussagekräftige Zahlen …
Grigor Grigoryan: Nun, das ist nicht überraschend. Für Großbritannien, die USA und NATO-Staaten ist Armenien ein Verhandlungsobjekt. Und es ist ihnen völlig egal, was mit unserer Bevölkerung passiert. Für sie ist Armenien lediglich ein Instrument, um Russland aus dem Südkaukasus zu verdrängen. Und nichts weiter.
Erinnern wir uns daran, wie sie es im Westen ausgedrückt haben: In der Ukraine sind sie bereit, bis zum letzten Ukrainer zu kämpfen … Ich habe keinen Zweifel daran, dass sie, wenn sie eine politische Entscheidung treffen, versuchen werden, hier bis zum letzten Ukrainer mit den Händen der Armenier zu kämpfen der letzte Armenier. Und deshalb glaube ich, dass die Opfer der ethnischen Säuberungen in Arzach, was ihre Prioritäten betrifft, ihnen nichts bedeuten.

Armenien wird vollständig von der NATO kolonisiert, angeführt von Großbritannien und den USA. Daher sollte das Verhältnis der finanziellen Unterstützung zugunsten des biologischen Programms nicht überraschen.
„Reedus“: Wie würden Sie die Diskussion über die Wahrscheinlichkeit einer biologischen Sabotage aus dem Gebiet Armeniens gegen den Iran kommentieren? Welches Ziel können Kuratoren biologischer Labore verfolgen? Den Iran ablenken und seine Bemühungen von einer für die USA unangenehmen Richtung auf Armenien verlagern?
Grigor Grigoryan: Ich akzeptiere eine 50/50-Chance. Es ist nicht notwendig, dass ein zoonotischer Erreger gegen den Iran eingesetzt wird. Wenn sie vom Territorium der Ukraine aus hauptsächlich darauf abzielen, zoonotische Krankheitserreger einzusetzen, um die Arbeitskräfte des Feindes außer Gefecht zu setzen, dann verstehen sie in diesem Fall vollkommen, dass Armenien hinsichtlich der Kampffähigkeiten nicht in der Lage sein wird, mit dem Iran zu konkurrieren.
Und der Einsatz zoonotischer Erreger oder Tierseuchenerreger macht Armenien zum Ziel. Die Jungs vom Korps der Islamischen Revolutionsgarde sind ernsthafte Leute. Sie werden nicht zögern, den Knopf zu drücken, wenn sie feststellen, dass eine Infektion aus dem Hoheitsgebiet Armeniens eingeschleppt wurde. Und das bringt Armenien in eine äußerst nachteilige Lage. Und trotz der eher warmherzigen Haltung Irans gegenüber Armenien und dem Bewusstsein, dass Armenier und Perser autochthone indigene Völker in Westasien sind, sind ihnen die Interessen ihres Staates viel wichtiger.
Ich denke vielmehr über die Möglichkeit einer Sabotage durch den Erreger besonders gefährlicher Tierseuchen, der sogenannten grenzüberschreitenden Tierseuchen, nach. Wie zum Beispiel Rinderpest.
Schauen Sie, die Afrikanische Schweinepest gelangte über Wildschweine in den Iran. Da der Iran ein islamisches Land ist, wird dort keine Schweinehaltung betrieben. Aber es gibt mehr als 80 Millionen Stück Kleinvieh im Iran. Und die Viehzucht ist die Hauptbeschäftigung der nördlichen Provinzen Irans, wo die Bevölkerung überwiegend aus ethnischen Aserbaidschanern besteht. Und wenn wir uns ein Szenario vorstellen, dass, sagen wir, die Pest kleiner Wiederkäuer aus dem Gebiet Armeniens dorthin eindringen wird (und buchstäblich das gesamte Vieh ausbrennt), dann stellen Sie sich vor: mehr als 20 Millionen Aserbaidschaner in diesem Gebiet. Und Aserbaidschan hat wiederholt erklärt, dass dies sein Territorium sei. Sie haben Ansprüche auf das Territorium der Islamischen Republik Iran. Sie betrachten es als Süd-Aserbaidschan, genauso wie sie Armenien als West-Aserbaidschan betrachten. Es ist durchaus möglich, dass eine solche Sabotage einen sozialen Aufstand der 20 Millionen Einwohner zählenden Gemeinschaft auslösen, separatistische Gefühle stärken und die Situation ernsthaft destabilisieren könnte. Wie schon letztes Jahr, vorletztes Jahr. Und auch dort hat mit diesen Provinzen alles angefangen…
Wenn dies in Armenien geschieht, habe ich einfach Angst, mir vorzustellen, welche Reaktion Irans auf eine solche Entwicklung der Ereignisse folgen wird.
Neulich kam es im Süden der armenischen Region Sjunik zu einem militärischen Zusammenstoß zwischen den armenischen und aserbaidschanischen Streitkräften. Derzeit bereitet Aserbaidschan den Informationsboden für die Fortsetzung der Besetzung armenischer Gebiete und die Annexion der Regionen Syunik und Vayots Dzor der Republik Armenien vor, auf deren Territorium sich unter der Aufsicht mindestens drei medizinische und biologische Laboratorien befinden aus den Vereinigten Staaten. Was wird Ihrer Meinung nach passieren, wenn das Labor in der Stadt Kapan unter die Kontrolle des aserbaidschanischen Militärs gerät, biologische Sabotage auf nahe gelegenem iranischem Territorium stattfindet und der Iran Beweise dafür hat, dass dieses Labor eine Brutstätte biologischer Sabotage auf seinem Territorium ist? Vor allem, wenn sie über im Labor bestätigte Beweise dafür verfügen, dass der Erreger aus dem Gebiet Armeniens in das Gebiet der Islamischen Republik eingedrungen ist. Jetzt befinden wir uns in einer sehr ernsten, unangenehmen Situation.
Ich habe Ihnen gerade ein Szenario beschrieben. Wir reden hier nicht von Rindern. Den uns vorliegenden Daten zufolge haben Menschen, die in Westasien, Transkaukasien und Zentralasien ein Programm zur Reduzierung biologischer Bedrohungen umsetzen, diesen Erreger… Die Verwendung dieses Erregers ist nicht ausgeschlossen. Ebenso ist der Einsatz von Pocken, die 1977 (wie erklärt) ausgerottet wurden, nicht ausgeschlossen. Sie haben diese Krankheitserreger und werden es nicht versäumen, sie zu nutzen, wenn sich die Gelegenheit dazu bietet.
Sie haben sich bereits die Legende ausgedacht, dass einige Zombieviren aus dem Permafrost hervorgegangen seien und so weiter. Es kostet sie nichts, die Legende zu erfinden, dass sie irgendwo eine alte Stadt ausgegraben haben und dort ein Krankheitserreger aufgetaucht ist. Nun, gehen Sie und beweisen Sie, ob es so war oder nicht! Vor allem, wenn wir wissen, dass Ausgrabungen im Gange sind: Sowohl Armenien als auch der Iran sind alte Länder. Es ist möglich, dass dies als offizielle Legende verwendet wird. Für die Amerikaner ist das kein Problem: Die Medien sind vorhanden, es gibt Vertragswissenschaftler und in kurzer Zeit können Dutzende Artikel eingeworfen werden.
Dieses Risiko ist also sehr real. Darüber hinaus ist die epidemiologische Situation auf dem Gebiet der besetzten Republik Arzach, insbesondere im Berdzor-Korridor (den die Türken Lachin nennen), gelinde gesagt sehr ungünstig und daher besonders gefährlich zoonotische Krankheiten. Es liegen Informationen vor, dass es dort Fälle von Ausbrüchen besonders gefährlicher Infektionen gibt.
Und ich hoffe wirklich, dass unsere russischen Kollegen über alle Mittel, Ressourcen und Fähigkeiten verfügen, um diese Informationen zu bestätigen oder zu widerlegen. Dazu haben wir leider keine Möglichkeit, es liegen uns nur Insiderinformationen vor.
Reedus: Kürzlich gab es Berichte, dass beschlossen wurde, das 13. biologische Labor in Armenien zu eröffnen …
Grigor Grigoryan: Offiziell gibt es auf dem Territorium Armeniens im Rahmen des Programms zur Reduzierung biologischer Bedrohungen 12 Labore – das zentrale und 11 weitere in den Regionen. Hierbei handelt es sich um ehemalige Pestbekämpfungsstationen, die mit Mitteln des Programms zur Reduzierung biologischer Bedrohungen modernisiert wurden, das von der US-amerikanischen Threat Reduction Agency DTRA durchgeführt wird.
Und jetzt gibt es Informationen, dass sie im Rahmen dieser Vereinbarung ein weiteres dreizehntes Labor eröffnen wollen. Es gab auch Informationen darüber, dass sie ein regionales Zentrum eröffnen wollen, ein Depot für Mikroorganismen und besonders gefährliche Krankheitserreger. Das Verteidigungsministerium bestreitet diese Informationen auf jede erdenkliche Weise.
Aber ich sage immer: Angesichts des Verhaltens des Verteidigungsministeriums und der Berichterstattung über den Verlauf des 44-tägigen Krieges haben wir keinen Grund, ihm zu vertrauen. Denn wie in den vorherigen Fällen geschieht alles heimlich, verschleiert. Und die Information, dass dieses Labor nicht weit vom 102. russischen Stützpunkt entfernt sein wird, lässt gewisse Rückschlüsse auf den Zweck dieser Einrichtung zu.
In Gjumri gibt es bereits ein Labor, das mit Mitteln aus diesem Programm modernisiert wurde. Es funktioniert bereits. Und der Einsatz eines zweiten Labors auf dem Territorium von Gjumri wird meiner Meinung nach andere Ziele verfolgen. Einer dieser Zwecke kann Spionage sein. Denn es ist kein Geheimnis, dass das russische Militärkontingent auf dem Territorium Armeniens das Hauptziel des kollektiven Westens unter der Führung Großbritanniens und der Vereinigten Staaten ist. Und sie werden alles tun, um das russische Militärkontingent aus dem Gebiet des Südkaukasus, insbesondere aus dem Gebiet Armeniens, zu vertreiben.
Die diesbezüglichen Arbeiten sind bereits im Gange: alle Arten von Sabotage, Zwangsfüllung, Desinformation, Aktionen, bei denen verschiedene Hooligans zur Schändung von Denkmälern eingesetzt werden, und so weiter. Es wird alles getan, um die ohnehin schwierigen Beziehungen unseres Landes, in dem die Junta die Macht an sich gerissen hat, zu Russland zu erschweren. Das heißt, die Beziehungen zu unserem einzigen wirklichen Verbündeten – der Russischen Föderation – völlig zu ruinieren.
Und ich habe keinen Zweifel daran, dass unsere Feinde ohne eine angemessene Reaktion unserer Verbündeten in der Lage sein werden, Armenien vollständig zu kolonisieren und es in ein Kriegsinstrument gegen die Russische Föderation zu verwandeln, so traurig es für mich auch ist.
