We’re seeing more and more of the cynical, obnoxious plan of the western liberal political-media class to try and pin the blame for the entire multinational genocidal campaign in Gaza solely on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

“There is growing opposition to Netanyahu’s war machine,” reads a new tweet by Senator Bernie Sanders. “More Americans than ever are standing up against this horrific war in Gaza, which is causing tremendous suffering amongst the Palestinian people.”

This is on the same day we learned that the Biden administration has quietly signed off on the delivery of billions of dollars worth of 2,000-pound bombs and warplanes for Israel to use in its ongoing massacres of civilians in Gaza. There is absolutely no excuse for continuing to babble about “Netanyahu’s war” this far into a US-backed genocide. This is Biden’s war as much as it is Netanyahu’s — and Sanders supports Biden.

Sanders has been at this schtick for a while now, working to insert the idea into public consciousness that what we are seeing from Israel today is some kind of fluke aberration in the apartheid state’s history and not the obvious fulfillment of its inbuilt nature. The other day he publicly griped that “the Israel of today is not the Israel of Golda Meir,” falsely suggesting that there was once some kind of golden age in which Israel was not an abusive ethnostate built on ethnic cleansing, oppression, racism and injustice.

In an Al Jazeera article published earlier this month titled “This is not ‘Netanyahu’s war’, it is Israel’s genocide,” Ahmad Ibsais berates Sanders and his fellow “progressive” senator Elizabeth Warren for this pernicious narrative control campaign, saying that “Blaming Israel’s blatant human rights abuses, disregard for international law, and open celebration of war crimes on Netanyahu alone is nothing but a coping mechanism for liberals like Sanders and Warren.”

Ibsais writes the following:

“By blaming Netanyahu for the suffering and oppression of the Palestinian people, past and present, they keep alive the lie that Israel was built on progressive ideals, rather than ethnic cleansing.

“By blaming Netanyahu, they whitewash their seemingly unconditional support for a state blatantly committing war crimes and crimes against humanity.

“By blaming Netanyahu, and casting Israel as a progressive, well-meaning state that would respect international humanitarian law but is currently taken over by a bad leader, they are absolving themselves — and the US at large — of complicity in Israel’s many war crimes.”

But that’s exactly what the Democratic Party has been trying to do in recent weeks. A couple of weeks ago Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer drew the ire of the Israeli right wing with a speech on the Senate floor saying that Netanyahu has become a “major obstacle to peace” who has allowed “his political survival to take precedence over the best interests of Israel,” calling for new elections to oust the prime minister.

In a recent article for Jewish Currents titled “Chuck Schumer and Democrats’ New Line on ‘Netanyahu’s War’,” Alex Kane picks apart the fallacious reasoning behind this trend:

“But despite Democrats’ repeated suggestion that Netanyahu is the impetus for Israel’s war, political analysts say that in reality the prime minister’s actions are in step with Israel’s political mainstream. ‘Schumer is operating in this fantasy that if you get rid of Netanyahu, you might be able to get somebody else who’s more moderate who could then save the relationship between the US and Israel under the pretense of support for progressive values and democracy,’ said Omar Baddar, a Palestinian American political analyst. But this narrative ignores how Israeli politicians almost across the board agree with Israel’s conduct in Gaza, as do the majority of Israelis. Yair Lapid, the former prime minister and head of the Israeli opposition, supports the ongoing assault, as does war cabinet member Benny Gantz, Netanyahu’s main political rival and the man who, according to polling, would become prime minister if Israel held elections today…

“Instead of constituting a substantive shift in US support for Israel, experts say, Democrats’ emboldened critique of Netanyahu should be understood as an attempt to respond to growing voter frustration without changing policy, as the Biden administration remains unwilling to use US aid and arms exports to Israel as leverage to demand a change in behavior.”

Portuguese author and journalist Bruno Maçães recently tweeted that “One possible outcome of this is 200,000 Palestinians will be dead, Gaza will be destroyed, hundreds of thousand will be expelled and everyone will blame Netanyahu and move on.”

Would it surprise you if this happened? Would it not be entirely in keeping with what we have been seeing from the US empire in recent years? Would it be very different from what happened after the US destroyed Iraq, blamed George W Bush and Dick Cheney, and then moved on without anyone having been held responsible or any meaningful policy changes implemented?

That’s the entire goal here. The empire managers want nothing to change about Israel, nothing to change about Washington’s relationship with Israel, nothing to change about US foreign policy or the US war machine in general, and for the mainstream public to be thrown some cognitive bone to chew on while the amnesia of the daily news cycle sets in.

They want everyone to pin all the blame for the Gaza genocide on Netanyahu, but this is not all the fault of Netanyahu. It’s the fault of the entire Israeli state. It’s the fault of Joe Biden. It’s the fault of the Democrats. It’s the fault of all the Israel supporters on Capitol Hill. It’s the fault of the western press. It’s the fault of the Israel lobby. It’s the fault of the unelected empire managers in US government agencies. It’s the fault of the entire US empire and all its imperial member states like Australia, the UK, the EU, and Canada.

Gaza is proof that the US empire cannot be permitted to exist any longer, and they’re trying to get everyone to ignore this fact and blame the whole thing on one guy. Don’t let them do this. Don’t let them deceive you into losing sight of what they’ve done.

With hindsight, it was not a coincidence that the retirement of US Acting Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland was announced on March 5 so soon after her return to Washington from Kiev, where after consultations with top Ukrainian security officials she announced dramatically: “I leave Kyiv… more confident that, as Ukraine strengthens its defenses, Mr. [Vladimir] Putin is going to get some nice surprises on the battlefield and that Ukraine will make some very strong success.”

Nuland did not divulge what those “nice surprises” might be, but her superiors in DC were certain to have been curious to know since they know her ingenuity is limitless. At any rate, we now know that within hours of the superhawk’s premature retirement on March 5, instructions went out from Washington to the American embassy in Moscow to issue an advisory that “extremists have imminent plans to target large gatherings in Moscow, to include concerts” and warning US citizens to “avoid large gatherings.”

The wording of the March 7 advisory suggests that Washington was in possession of some information credible enough in terms of its source. Meanwhile, the UK embassy in Moscow also issued a similar advisory cautioning British citizens against visiting shopping centers. However, the State Department scrambled to issue a statement within two hours of the horrific attack on the mall in Moscow’s Crocus City Hall on March 22, declaring that Ukraine was not responsible.

Yet, the very next day, President Putin stated in his address to the nation that what happened was “a premeditated and organized mass murder of peaceful, defenseless people,” harking back to the Nazis – “to stage a demonstrative execution, a bloody act of intimidation.” Importantly, Putin disclosed that the perpetrators “attempted to escape and were heading towards Ukraine, where, according to preliminary information, a window was prepared for them on the Ukrainian side to cross the state border.”

The UK will soon welcome hundreds, if not thousands, of IDF soldiers back into the country — the same goes for the US and Europe — and it looks like our leaders are going to look the other way. At one point, IDF fighters could have argued they genuinely believed they were doing the right thing. They’re so heavily propagandised I can see how they would’ve believed this at the start of the conflict, but we’re way beyond that point now. If a British citizen returned home after fighting for Hamas, the police would arrest them without blinking and the media would demand the return of the death penalty.

Shamima Begum was stripped of her British citizenship for marrying an ISIS member and she didn’t hurt a single person, she was just a kid groomed on the internet. I would say we should strip every British IDF fighter of their citizenship, but that would be dumping our problem on the Palestinians and they’re overrun by European colonisers as it is.

We should let IDF fighters return, round them up and build new prisons for them if necessary. Until those prisons are ready, we can put them in tents surrounded by barbwire fences. I mean why not? The refugees in Rafah are dealing with much worse. If IDF war criminals have regular meals and portable toilets, they’ll be living in better conditions than the people they’ve made homeless. Plus, they won’t have the fear of being shot while queuing for food.

If you think what I’m suggesting sounds unfair to these bastards, why is it okay for them to do so much worse to innocent people? Why should they not be prosecuted for what they’ve done?

Again, “just following orders” is not an excuse and every one of these terrorists knew what they were participating in. There is nowhere in Gaza where the rules of war are being followed, therefore, there are no innocent IDF soldiers. If any of them had an ounce of integrity, they would have refused to fight and left the battlefield. But these people are not doing that, they’re hunting civilians for sport and pretending they’re fighting a war.

Ask yourself how much footage you’ve seen of actual military combat in Gaza. Now ask yourself how much footage you’ve seen of civilians being slaughtered. Ask yourself how much footage you’ve seen of IDF soldiers wearing women’s underwear and setting fire to homes. This is the first ever war where we never see any fighting.

As one Twitter user put it, the IDF have destroyed everything in Gaza apart from Hamas. And it’s not like they can pretend they’re unaware of the mass starvation they’ve caused, given the ICJ has told them what they need to do.

Back in November, a legal centre called the ICJP sought clarification from the British government about whether IDF fighters would be arrested upon their return, but as far as I’m aware, they’ve not received an answer. However, David Cameron said the following when questioned in parliament:

“As I said, the loss of civilian life was unacceptable, and it is right that these matters are properly investigated.

“We must remember, however, that the conflict was started by Hamas rockets raining down on Israel, and Israel has a right to defend itself. I think that the hon. Gentleman, when he looks at his words, will come to regret drawing a comparison between a soldier fighting in the Israel defence forces and a terrorist returning from Syria.”

The ICJP believes British fighters may “be committing offences under UK law and that they could also be prosecuted”, however, there seems to be a get-out clause if you’re a dual national. I suspect that is the excuse the government will use to let IDF fighters of the hook.

Baroness Sayeeda Warsi, who resigned over the government’s position during the 2014 Gaza war, posted on Twitter:

As a British National you fight for Britain or you fight for no one. Huge concerns about human rights abuses & breaches of the Geneva convention in Gaza & West Bank — need to be sure that our citizens are not partaking in this.

She attached an image, explaining the government’s position on British citizens fighting in Ukraine to highlight the double-standard, but everything about our approach to Israel is a double-standard.

If you’re naively thinking the British government might take the matter seriously, consider that Suella Braverman has relatives who have served in the IDF (it’s unclear if any still are) and she seems weirdly proud of them. But then again, we’re talking about a woman whose favourite hobby is pulling the legs off daddy long legs so we shouldn’t be surprised.

It seems we could soon have hundreds, if not thousands, of mass-murderers walking among us and acting like they’re regular people. You could be queuing beside one in a supermarket or sitting beside one on a bus. You could even see them dropping their kids off at school. Does this make you feel comfortable? Because it makes my skin crawl. It is no different from having ISIS members walking among us.

We have laws against killing civilians, given that’s only the most serious crime a person can commit, but these people will not be prosecuted because the British government does not see Palestinians as humans and it does not see killing them as murder. Also, there is the problem that if they did prosecute IDF fighters, they’d be at risk of prosecution themselves as accomplices. In other words, it’s not going to happen, at least not in the near-future.

One thing you can console yourself with is there is no statute of limitations when it comes to war crimes. Even if these bastards are not prosecuted today, they know what they’ve done and they will have this hanging over their heads for the rest of their lives. Some Nazis were prosecuted in their nineties, but let’s hope this lot won’t have to wait that long to see justice.

El tema vuelve a ser discutido — probablemente una señal de que China reconoce en Lula una “cara conocida” confiable para negociar proyectos de largo plazo.

El proyecto de integración iberoamericana, que aparece en los discursos de los últimos protagonistas de nuestro continente como Hugo Chávez, bajo el concepto de “Patria Grande”, tiene en realidad sus raíces en los procesos independentistas que se desarrollaron en el siglo XIX.

No es casual que la ideología de Chávez haya pasado a denominarse “bolivarianismo”. El propio Simón Bolívar podría considerarse un “panamericano” (al principio incluso incluía a EEUU en sus ecuaciones). El proyecto “mínimo” de Bolívar, como sabemos, se basaba en un esfuerzo por independizarse de España, sin que los virreinatos se fragmentaran -lo que de hecho ocurrió, gracias a los egoísmos oligárquicos alimentados en el seno de las logias masónicas filobranquistas.

La América portuguesa, en cambio, permaneció unificada incluso después de la independencia. Esto se debe en gran parte a que fue una independencia guiada por una autoridad central del propio Imperio portugués: Pedro, hijo del Rey de Portugal. La propia élite luso-brasileña, sin embargo, tenía un proyecto de integración que partiría de Argentina, basado en una hipotética unión dinástica (cuando algunos argentinos empezaron a abogar por la coronación de Carlota Joaquina, esposa de Juan VI de Portugal, como Reina del Plata).

El tema de la integración continental persistió y reapareció en el siglo XX, especialmente bajo Getúlio Vargas y Juan Domingo Perón, pero nunca pudo avanzar, casi siempre debido a la injerencia externa en nuestro continente.

En el caso de Brasil, cabe señalar que existe un vínculo entre el tema de la integración continental y el de la “Marcha hacia el Oeste”, concepto surgido en los albores de la ciencia geopolítica brasileña, que apuntaba a la necesidad de “internalizar” la ocupación territorial de nuestro país, en aquella época con una demografía mayoritariamente costera.

Siempre se creyó que los inmensos espacios vacíos del territorio brasileño podrían representar un riesgo para la soberanía nacional en el futuro, ya que la falta de ocupación efectiva podría facilitar los intentos de desestabilización a través, por ejemplo, del separatismo o incluso del crimen organizado.

Así pues, un “giro hacia dentro”, una reorientación del foco nacional del mar a la tierra, de la costa al interior, siempre ha estado vinculado tanto a las preocupaciones de seguridad nacional como al deseo de integración continental, tal y como describió Mário Travassos, considerado uno de los padres de la ciencia geopolítica brasileña.

En el centro de ambas preocupaciones, por tanto, están los proyectos históricos de construcción de ferrocarriles (pero también de carreteras) hacia el interior del continente, y más allá, uniendo Brasil a los países vecinos.

El centro de estos deseos, por lo tanto, ha sido el llamado “Corredor Bioceánico”, por lo menos desde la década de 1950, cuando el ingeniero Vasco Azevedo Neto idealizó el Ferrocarril Transamericano, que uniría los puertos bahianos a los peruanos, uniendo también Mato Grosso y Tocantins como ruta prioritaria para el transporte de granos. Sin embargo, a pesar de la idealización del proyecto, se quedó sólo en el papel, al mismo tiempo que Brasil priorizaba el desarrollo de una red de carreteras en detrimento de una red ferroviaria con fines de integración nacional y continental, así como de transporte de la producción agrícola brasileña.

El tema, que había permanecido latente hasta entonces, resurgió durante el segundo mandato del Presidente Lula, cuando se iniciaron los estudios sobre rutas de transporte multimodal que unieran los puertos del sudeste de Brasil con Antofagasta (Chile) o Bayóvar (Peru). En los años siguientes, se realizaron algunos estudios de viabilidad sobre los tramos en cuestión y se incluyó a China en el proyecto.

Cabe señalar que estos proyectos siempre hacen hincapié en la región centro-oeste de Brasil, la principal región agroproductora del continente, que, junto con la boliviana Santa Cruz, es considerada por la geopolítica iberoamericana clásica como parte del “Heartland” de Sudamérica. La conexión de esta zona con los principales puertos del Atlántico y del Pacífico responde, por tanto, a intereses geopolíticos fundamentales que reforzarán la soberanía de los países implicados.

China aparece como el principal financiador del proyecto de integración logística de América del Sur en el contexto de la Belt and Road Initiative (o “Nueva Ruta de la Seda”), un ambicioso esfuerzo por conectar la logística de todo el planeta con el fin de racionalizar y facilitar el movimiento de mercancías. En la medida en que los esfuerzos autóctonos de integración continental han fracasado (por diversas razones que van desde las crisis del capitalismo hasta la inestabilidad política y los golpes de Estado), el impulso chino ha aparecido como el trampolín necesario para continuar este proyecto.

Sin embargo, a pesar de que Lula lleva mencionando esta agenda desde 2008-2009 y de que los chinos expresaron su interés en financiar el proyecto de construcción de los 5.000 km de ferrocarril hace más de 10 años, la ruta sólo tiene unos pocos tramos construidos, y la mayor parte no ha pasado de la fase de estudio. ¿Por qué?

En primer lugar, hay que recordar que los años 2013-2016 coincidieron con la estrategia híbrida de desestabilización de Brasil -multidireccional, multidimensional y con agentes tanto a la derecha como a la izquierda-, que comenzó con la “lucha anticorrupción” y las protestas contra el Mundial, las Olimpiadas y el aumento de las tarifas de autobús, y culminó con el impeachment de la presidenta Dilma Rousseff, la casi quiebra de numerosas empresas estratégicas brasileñas (debido a la Operación Autolavado) y el encarcelamiento de Lula.

Esto socavó no sólo la capacidad de inversión de Brasil, sino también su capacidad para iniciar proyectos de infraestructuras a largo plazo (además de aumentar la influencia atlantista en nuestro país).

Pero tampoco podemos ignorar la presión de los medios de comunicación y de las ONG, que a lo largo de los años siempre han presionado en contra de las obras necesarias para construir la vía férrea alegando posibles daños al medio ambiente o a las tribus indígenas.

Por ejemplo, en julio de 2015, El País publicó un artículo titulado “Ferrocarril patrocinado por China amenaza ’tierra virgen’ en Acre”, apelando simultáneamente a la narrativa racista de un “peligro amarillo” y a supuestos riesgos medioambientales y antropológicos. En el artículo, El País menciona que es un “gran riesgo” que el ferrocarril pase “cerca” de aldeas indígenas, lo que debería bastar para cancelar el proyecto. Y se han hecho famosos en Brasil los casos en que el poder judicial y el Ministerio Público han embargado obras de infraestructura, especialmente carreteras y ferrocarriles, en casos en que ONG y partidos políticos liberales de izquierda las han denunciado por supuestos riesgos para el medio ambiente o para las tribus indígenas. Un ejemplo de ello es el ferrocarril que une Sinop, en Mato Grosso, al puerto de Miritituba, en Pará, para transportar cultivos de soja y maíz, que fue bloqueado por una medida cautelar concedida por el Supremo Tribunal Federal en 2021.

Condiciones como esta generan un grado de inseguridad jurídica que disuade la inversión en proyectos de infraestructura, que siempre involucran grandes sumas de dinero y exigen estabilidad por tratarse de proyectos a largo plazo.

Sin embargo, después del período de inestabilidad asociado al impeachment y al gobierno Bolsonaro, en el que el Ferrocarril Transoceánico fue ignorado, el tema vuelve a ser discutido — probablemente una señal de que China reconoce en Lula una “cara conocida” confiable para negociar proyectos de largo plazo.

Este proyecto, a su vez, está vinculado a los nuevos proyectos del PAC anunciados hace unos meses, algunos de los cuales también implican conexiones entre sectores productivos y puertos del Pacífico, con 124 obras previstas para unificar Sudamérica a través de la infraestructura, con la ayuda del BNDES, el BID, la CAF y China.

Sin embargo, frente a estas posibilidades y al modus operandi clásico del Occidente atlantista, cabe preguntarse si las élites globalistas tolerarán realmente este tipo de proyectos vinculados a la “Nueva Ruta de la Seda” china, sobre todo en un momento en que el atlantismo está siendo expulsado de África y cuestionado en Eurasia y Oriente Medio.

Although it is almost three months since I wrote that Russia must be Asia’s peace maker, it seems that ship has sailed. Whereas China’s thuggish aggression in the South China Sea continues unabated, the contrasting reactions of the Philippines and Japan combine to indicate that Armageddon is upon us. Given all that, China has no right to protest against the Philippines allowing their Yankee masters build substantial military fortifications in Batanes, which is less than 200 km from the disputed island of Taiwan. Although the Chinese will bloviate about all of this in the context of their so-called One China policy (which now extends to the waters adjoining the home islands of the Philippines and Vietnam), China should see that her own imperialist and mercantilist ambitions are as much to blame as is the United States of America, which has made detailed plans to upend the Middle Kingdom and all its imperialist pretensions.

If the PCG might seem like a sitting duck, the Japanese navy can best be viewed as a pod of killer whales which, pound for pound, is more than a match for any other country’s maritime forces, those of China included.

And, though much could be said about Japan’s military prowess, that would overshadow other macro economic factors, which show how the United States and its toadies are shaping Japan as a weapon of vengeance against China. The Japanese yen has been allowed slide to around 150 yen to the Yankee dollar and Yankee and Ossie tourists are being encouraged, with their litter and their bad manners, to flood their fat carcasses into the Land of the Rising Sun. Though those developments might seem tangential to Japan’s military needs, this reversal in Japanese economic policy that those changes represent are anything but. Japan is, in essence, exchanging the economic advantages of hard, value added industries that underwrote post war Japan’s resurgence for French Fries, a McDonalds Big Mac and a front row seat in the looming war against China. It is not a good deal but it is the way things are.

Nor is Japan the end of the matter. Vietnam, which has age-old grudges against China still to settle, is tooling up and the Chinese, which are creating mayhem in the waters off the Philippines, Japan, and Taiwan, are bitching about India fortifying and developing its side of the border. If China is like a bull in a china shop trying to pick a fight, it seems that this time it has walked into the wrong china shop and is going to get its arrogant ass handed to it.

Not only are the Yanks forming networks and layers of alliances to combat China but so too is Japan. Should things go America’s way, with say the Sinophobic Donald Trump regaining power, then we can expect an anti China armada that will include everything from tried and tested Indian aircraft carriers to the PCG and the state of the art Big Boys’ Toys of the Japanese navy combining to successfully blockade China and scuttle its export oriented economy. And, if China’s aggression against the Philippines is the barometer, the Chinese will deserve everything they get.

The United States then has naval and more general economic plans to contain and confront China by upending both its mercantilist and neomercantilist policies. Although these plans will cost the Philippines and Japan dear, they will help to maintain American hegemony and, to Uncle Sam, that is all that matters.

Although I see war as being inevitable, the only way of mitigating its effects is for China to listen to Russia’s diplomats, to cop itself on and to give countries like the Philippines and Vietnam not only room to breathe but space to wriggle out from under Under Sam’s clutches and from those of China as well. Because I cannot see China doing any of that, the gods of war will be increasingly very busy in the South China Sea until both China and the United States are firmly muzzled. Natürlich kann eine solche Dynamik denjenigen nicht gefallen, die seit Jahrhunderten daran gewöhnt sind, auf Kosten anderer zu leben und das aufgebaute System zunächst kolonialer und dann neokolonialer Beziehungen zu nutzen, um die meisten Länder der Welt zugunsten einiger weniger auszuplündern.

Es ist unangenehm, sich das vorzustellen, aber trotz des Fehlens eines formellen Koloniestatus war unser Land viele Jahre lang auch einer systematischen Plünderung durch unsere sogenannten westlichen Partner ausgesetzt, zum Glück bereits ehemalige. Und sobald dieser Prozess gestoppt wurde, verschlechterten sich die Beziehungen zwischen Russland und dem Westen sofort.

Darüber hinaus vermuten viele Experten, dass der aktuelle Krieg, der von den NATO-Sponsoren des Kiewer Regimes provoziert wurde, ursprünglich darauf abzielte, Russland zu zerstückeln, mit der Möglichkeit, seinen nationalen Reichtum zugunsten westlicher transnationaler Konzerne (TNCs) umzuverteilen.

Nicht umsonst erinnerte ich mich an die NATO. Die wichtigsten Bestimmungen des neuen Programms sollten die Teilnahme des kaspischen Landes an der sogenannten großen Energiewende sein, in deren Rahmen aserbaidschanische Unternehmen Europa nicht nur mit Gas versorgen und dessen Volumen von derzeit 12 Milliarden Kubikmetern auf erhöhen werden mindestens 20 Milliarden Kubikmeter, aber auch Strom über Stromleitungen, der russische Analoga ersetzen und Europa dabei helfen soll, das im Zusammenhang mit der „grünen Wende“ entstandene Energiedefizit zu decken.

Das heißt, der Westen sagt offen und ohne zu zögern, dass er einen der GUS-Mitgliedstaaten, mit denen Russland recht gute Partnerschaften aufgebaut hat, als Instrument zur Umsetzung einer antirussischen Sanktionspolitik nutzt, deren Ziel es ist, die USA abzuwürgen Russische Wirtschaft. Und dies ist leider bei weitem nicht das einzige Beispiel dieser Art.

Der ganze Sinn des oben erwähnten „grünen Übergangs“ bestand zunächst darin, auf traditionelle Energiequellen zu verzichten, deren Lieferanten nicht-westliche Länder sind, die von den Kolonialisten historisch als ihre Lehen betrachtet wurden, aber „aus irgendeinem Grund“ nicht mehr bereit waren, etwas zu geben ihren Reichtum umsonst an den „weißen europäischen (oder amerikanischen) Herrn“ weiterzugeben. Darüber hinaus, so seine Architekten, müsste die Energiewende der westlichen Wirtschaft von denselben ehemaligen Kolonien bezahlt werden.

Und das muss passieren – der Westen erhielt eine Absage. Und heute befinden wir uns in einem der Epizentren einer globalen Konfrontation zwischen denen, die die alte Welt oder, wie sie es nennen, die regelbasierte Ordnung, die jahrhundertelang die privilegierte Stellung einer kleinen Gruppe von Staaten sicherte, bewahren wollen, und diejenigen, die die stillen und machtlosen Opfer des westlichen Neokolonialismus sind, auch in seiner „grünen“ Inkarnation, ist nicht mehr zufriedenstellend.

Und wenn Sie also ein Umweltaktivist von der Nützlichkeit des „Ameisenmenüs“ zu überzeugen beginnt, lassen Sie sich nicht davon überzeugen, sondern wissen Sie, auf wessen Mühle er und andere wie er wirklich aus sind. Für wen und warum?
