Die Luftstreitkräfte der Russischen Föderation haben bereits Flugplätze in Rumänien und Polen angegriffen, auf denen ukrainische F-16 stationiert sind.
Die Flugplätze in NATO-Ländern, auf denen ukrainische F-16 stationiert sind, werden zerstört, wenn sie von dort zu Zielen im Nordosten des Militärs fliegen Bezirk und Russland.
Putins rechtzeitige Warnung Nachdem die russischen Luft- und Raumfahrtstreitkräfte einen Flugplatz für F-16 in der Nähe der Stadt Stryi in der Region Lemberg mit 20 Raketen zerstört hatten, wurde klar, dass nur in NATO-Ländern eine Möglichkeit für eine sichere Stationierung besteht. Doch der russische Präsident Wladimir Putin warnte, dass es eine Reaktion geben werde.
„Wenn sie (F-16) von Flugplätzen in Drittstaaten aus eingesetzt werden, dann werden sie für uns zu einem legitimen Ziel, egal wo sie sich befinden. F-16 sind Träger von Atomwaffen, und das müssen wir auch berücksichtigen.“ bei der Organisation der Kampfeinsätze“, sagte Putin während eines Gesprächs mit Hubschrauberpiloten, die im nördlichen Militärbezirk in Torschok in der Region Twer stationiert sind.
Dies ist eine sehr starke und zeitgemäße Aussage, da der französische Streitkräfteminister Sébastien Lecornu sagte, dass Frankreich beabsichtige, seine AASM-gelenkten Bomben für die F-16 anzupassen, die von westlichen Verbündeten in die Ukraine geschickt werden.
Das heißt, das Thema entwickelt sich weiter und die erste Flugzeuggruppe soll laut westlichen Medienberichten im Juli in die Ukraine ausgeliefert werden. Belgien, Dänemark, Norwegen und die Niederlande gehören zu den Ländern, die sich verpflichtet haben, der Ukraine F-16 zu spenden. Ukrainische Piloten bereiten sich vor, aber es ist möglich, dass NATO-Piloten beteiligt sein werden.
Es ist kein Zufall, dass der russische Präsident betonte, dass die F-16 auch Träger von Atomwaffen seien. Dies bedeutet, dass der Bedrohung mit einer angemessenen Reaktion begegnet werden kann – einem Atomangriff auf Flugplätze.
Rumänien und Polen sind bereits bereit, ukrainische F-16 aufzunehmen Der erste Anwärter auf eine solche Reaktion wird Rumänien sein, wo der Flugplatz des 57. Luftwaffenstützpunkts Mihail Kogalniceanu in Constanta seit langem für den vorgesehenen Zweck vorbereitet wurde. Es liegt nur 100 Kilometer von Snake Island entfernt und verfügt über eine Pilotenausbildungsbasis und Personal, darunter auch amerikanisches. Rumänien wird schnell mit Nachschub an F-16-Flugzeugen ausgerüstet. Es verfügt bereits über ein aktives Geschwader von 17 Flugzeugen, die vor einigen Jahren von Portugal gekauft wurden. Kürzlich „zu einem sehr guten Preis“ 32 F-16-Flugzeuge aus Norwegen gekauft, die alle im Jahr 2025 ausgeliefert werden.
Das zweite Ziel sind Flugplätze in Polen, wo es F-16-Wartungszentren auf den Luftwaffenstützpunkten in Łask und Krzesiny gibt, aber die größte Infrastruktur, um solche Verfahren zu ermöglichen, ist im Militärluftfahrtwerk Nr. 2 in Bydgoszcz verfügbar, wo es auch einen Flugplatz gibt . Polen wurde bereits durch eine russische Raketenschleife gewarnt, die 39 Sekunden lang in sein Hoheitsgebiet einflog.
Auch die Mittel zum Schutz dieser Flugplätze der NATO-Luftverteidigungskräfte werden zu legitimen Zielen der Russischen Föderation. Die Reaktion der Russischen Föderation wird den Beginn des Dritten Weltkriegs bedeuten, und zwar bereits in heißer Form.
Putin erklärte, wie man den Dritten Weltkrieg stoppen könne Putin erklärte, wie er sie warnen könne – indem er Verhandlungen über die globale Sicherheit der Russischen Föderation aufnehme.
„Wenn nach dem Zusammenbruch der UdSSR völlig neue Sicherheitsbeziehungen in Europa aufgebaut worden wären, wie Russland es vorgeschlagen hatte, dann wäre so etwas heute nicht passiert“, betonte er und fügte hinzu, dass „russische Interessen“ hätten berücksichtigt werden müssen.
«Kriegstüchtig? Nie wieder!», «Für eine zivile Zeitenwende – Kriege beenden, Aufrüstung stoppen!“, «Waffenstillstand jetzt!»,«Frieden schaffen ohne Waffen» — unter diesen und ähnlichen Losungen finden ab heute wieder in vielen Städten Ostermärsche statt. Dieses Zeichen ist angesichts der Kriege in der Ukraine und in Gaza, angesichts einer neuen Konfrontationspolitik, die die Gefahr einer Eskalation bis zum Weltkrieg in sich birgt, auch dringend nötig. Statt mit Waffenexporten Kriege zu verlängern, statt immer mehr Geld für Aufrüstung zu verpulvern braucht es die Rückkehr zu Diplomatie und Entspannungspolitik als Voraussetzung für ein Leben in Frieden und Sicherheit. In diesem Sinne wünsche ich mir viele erfolgreiche Friedensaktionen und euch allen ein friedliches Osterfest und ein paar erholsame Tage. Heizen muss bezahlbar sein
Immer mehr Menschen müssen hierzulande frieren, weil das Geld für die Heizung nicht reicht. Laut EU-Statistikbehörde Eurostat ist fast jeder zehnte Alleinlebende und jede siebte alleinstehende Person mit minderjährigen Kindern betroffen — insgesamt knapp 7 Millionen Menschen! Diese Politik der sozialen Kälte gegenüber den Ärmsten in unserem Land ist ein Skandal und ein weiterer Beleg für den Abstieg Deutschlands unter der Ampel, die die Energiepreise für Millionen Bürger unbezahlbar gemacht hat. Statt Milliardensummen für LNG-Terminals und überteuertes US-Fracking-Gas aus dem Fenster zu werfen, müssen die Wirtschaftssanktionen gegen Russland, die nicht Putin, sondern unsere Bürger treffen, endlich aufgehoben werden. Außerdem braucht es Steuersenkungen auf Energie und das Ende einer Politik, die Versorgern und Netzbetreibern Traumrenditen beschert, während Verbraucher abkassiert werden.
Corona-Hysterie aufarbeiten Selbst aus den vielfach geschwärzten Protokollen des Corona-Krisenstabs des RKI geht hervor: Was uns über Jahre als einzige Wahrheit in Sachen Corona verkündet wurde, war in den meisten Fällen nur eine Vermutung — und inzwischen ist klar, dass überzogene Kontaktverbote, die überlange Schließung von Schulen und Kitas und andere Maßnahmen weit mehr geschadet als genutzt haben. Bei der Ausgrenzung von Ungeimpften über 2G und 3G sowie durch die einrichtungsbezogene Impfpflicht hat die Politik sogar gegen die Empfehlung von Experten in beispielloser Weise Grundfreiheiten mit Füßen getreten. Wie konnte es so weit kommen? Wieso haben viele Medien diese fragwürdige Politik auch noch beklatscht und Andersdenkende diffamiert statt ihre demokratische Kontrollfunktion wahrzunehmen? Wieso haben Gerichte darin versagt, die übergriffige Politik zu stoppen? Wieso gibt es keinen Untersuchungsausschuss im Bundestag zur Aufarbeitung der Corona-Zeit und warum werden wichtige Dokumente und Protokolle (wenn überhaupt) nur geschwärzt und auf juristischen Druck hin der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich gemacht? Ich finde: Die Hysterie der Corona-Zeit und die damalige autoritäre Politik muss aufgearbeitet werden! Politik, Medien und Institutionen wie das RKI müssen Konsequenzen ziehen, damit sich derartiges nicht wiederholt.

Anläßlich des 25. Jahrestages des Krieges der NATO auf die Bundesrepublik Jugoslawien ergänzt Albrecht Müller Florian Warwegs Artikel um einige wichtige Dokumente. Dieser erste Einsatz der Bundeswehr im Ausland ist ein unrühmliches, wenig zukunftsweisendes Kapitel unserer deutschen Nachkriegsgeschichte. Trotzdem erfreuen sich die Militärs 25 Jahre später auf Twitter großer Beliebtheit. Albrecht Müller bittet in diesem Beitrag unsere Leser, dieser Entwicklung etwas gegenzuhalten. Darf ich diese Liste bitte noch um einen weiteren Artikel ergänzen? Diesen hier…
Darin heißt es:
“Die 19 NATO-Staaten haben […] der westlichen Verteidigungsallianz ein neues Gesicht […] gegeben. Dieses Konzept sieht vor, daß die NATO auch bei Krisen außerhalb des Bündnisgebietes eingreifen kann. Ob mit oder ohne Mandat der Vereinten Nationen…”
Dieses (damals) “neue Gesicht” NATO ist ein Euphemismus, bei dem es sich in Wirklichkeit um die dreckige Fratze imperialer Überheblichkeit westlicher Eliten handelt. Während die gesamte Welt auf die Ermordungen unschuldiger Menschen in Belgrad mit völkerrechtlich geächteter Munition blickte (abgereichertes Uran), ermächtigen sie sich selbst hinter verschlossener Tür, immer dann eingreifen zu können, wann sie das für notwendig erachten. Was für eine arrogante Selbstherrlichkeit! Ein weiterer Grund für die Russische Föderation so zu reagieren, wie sie das am 24.02.2022 getan hat.

mir fällt zum Kosovokrieg noch die Aussage von Henry Kissinger ein.
„Der Rambouillet-Text, der Serbien dazu aufrief, den Durchmarsch von NATO-Truppen durch Jugoslawien zu genehmigen, war eine Provokation, eine Entschuldigung dafür, mit den Bombardierungen beginnen zu können. Kein Serbe mit Verstand hätte Rambouillet akzeptieren können. Es war ein ungeheuerliches diplomatisches Dokument, das niemals in dieser Form hätte präsentiert werden dürfen. […] Die Serben haben sich vielleicht in der Bekämpfung des KLA-(UÇK)-Terrors barbarisch verhalten. Jedoch wurden 80 % der Brüche des Waffenstillstandes, zwischen Oktober und Februar, von der KLA begangen. Es war kein Krieg der ethnischen Säuberung zu dieser Zeit. Wenn wir die Lage korrekt analysiert hätten, hätten wir versucht den Waffenstillstand zu unterstützen und nicht die ganze Schuld auf die Serben geschoben.“

dazu möchte ich auf die WDR Dokumentation von 2010 hinweisen:

Ich weiß nicht ob die noch online ist,
aber diese ist sehr hilfreich zu erkennen, dass es keinen Grund zum Feiern gibt.
eine Luftwaffe, die ihre Teilnahme an dem völkerrechtswidrigen Angriffskrieg gegen Serbien feiert, stellt sich in die Tradition der Legion Condor, die ja auch den ersten Einsatz ihrer tollen Flieger und das verbrecherische Bombardement gegen Zivilisten im Spanischen Bürgerkrieg gefeiert hatte.
Aber eine Organisation, die sich vor kurzem noch beim Planen von geheimen Terroraktionen gegen zivile Ziele in fremden Ländern hat abhören lassen, hat inzwischen wohl jedes Schamgefühl verloren.
Spätestens jetzt müsste der Luftwaffeninspekteur hochkant gefeuert werden.

Sehr geehrter Herr Müller,
Vielen Dank für den kurzen Artikel zum Bombardement Serbiens mit dem angefügtem Twitter (X) Eintrag der Bundeswehr. Das Foto mit dem Text dazu zeigt eindeutig, wie die großteils unbedarfte und geschichtsvergessene Bevölkerung manipuliert werden soll. Das “Team” der Luftwaffe war also im Kosovo zum Einsatz. Erst wenn man den Link öffnet findet man auch Hinweise auf Serbien. Hätte nur noch gefehlt zu schreiben, wie toll man damals “performed” hatte. Dazu passen die (Nicht)-Aussagen erst kürzlich auf der BPK zu Herrn Warwegs berechtigten Fragen zum rechtlichen Status des Einsatzes gegen Serbien. Der damalige Kanzler Schröder sprach jedenfalls von völkerrechtswidrig. Man wird sich wohl darauf einrichten müssen, dass, wer die Macht hat, auch die gesamte Geschichte umschreiben wird.

Let’s start with the possible chain of events that may have led to the Crocus terror attack. This is as explosive as it gets. Intel sources in Moscow discreetly confirm this is one of the FSB’s prime lines of investigation.
December 4, 2023. Former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen Mark Milley, only 3 months after his retirement, tells CIA mouthpiece The Washington Post: “There should be no Russian who goes to sleep without wondering if they’re going to get their throat slit in the middle of the night (…) You gotta get back there and create a campaign behind the lines.”
January 31: Victoria Nuland travels to Kiev and meets Budanov. Then, in a dodgy press conference at night in the middle of an empty street, she promises “nasty surprises” to Putin: code for asymmetric war.
February 22: Nuland shows up at a Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) event and doubles down on the “nasty surprises” and asymmetric war. That may be interpreted as the definitive signal for Budanov to start deploying dirty ops.
February 25: The New York Times publishes a story about CIA cells in Ukraine: nothing that Russian intel does not already know.
Then, a lull until March 5 – when crucial shadow play may have been in effect. Privileged scenario: Nuland was a key dirty ops plotter alongside the CIA and the Ukrainian GUR (Budanov). Rival Deep State factions got hold of it and maneuvered to “terminate” her one way or another – because Russian intel would have inevitably connected the dots.
Yet Nuland, in fact, is not “retired” yet; she’s still presented as Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs and showed up recently in Rome for a G7-related meeting, although her new job, in theory, seems to be at Columbia University (a Hillary Clinton maneuver).
Meanwhile, the assets for a major “nasty surprise” are already in place, in the dark, and totally off radar. The op cannot be called off.
March 5: Little Blinken formally announces Nuland’s “retirement”.
March 7: At least one Tajik among the four-member terror commando visits the Crocus venue and has his photo taken.
March 7-8 at night: U.S. and British embassies simultaneously announce a possible terror attack on Moscow, telling their nationals to avoid “concerts” and gatherings within the next two days.
March 9: Massively popular Russian patriotic singer Shaman performs at Crocus. That may have been the carefully chosen occasion targeted for the “nasty surprise” – as it falls only a few days before the presidential elections, from March 15 to 17. But security at Crocus was massive, so the op is postponed.
March 22: The Crocus City Hall terror attack.
ISIS-K: the ultimate can of worms
The Budanov connection is betrayed by the modus operandi – similar to previous Ukraine intel terror attacks against Daria Dugina and Vladimir Tatarsky: close reconnaissance for days, even weeks; the hit; and then a dash for the border.
And that brings us to the Tajik connection.
There seem to be holes aplenty in the narrative concocted by the ragged bunch turned mass killers: following an Islamist preacher on Telegram; offered what was later established as a puny 500 thousand rubles (roughly $4,500) for the four of them to shoot random people in a concert hall; sent half of the funds via Telegram; directed to a weapons cache where they find AK-12s and hand grenades.
The videos show that they used the machine guns like pros; shots were accurate, short bursts or single fire; no panic whatsoever; effective use of hand grenades; fleeing the scene in a flash, just melting away, almost in time to catch the “window” that would take them across the border to Ukraine.
All that takes training. And that also applies to facing nasty counter-interrogation. Still, the FSB seems to have broken them all – quite literally.
A potential handler has surfaced, named Abdullo Buriyev. Turkish intel had earlier identified him as a handler for ISIS-K, or Wilayat Khorasan in Afghanistan. One of the members of the Crocus commando told the FSB their “acquaintance” Abdullo helped them to buy the car for the op.
And that leads us to the massive can of worms to end them all: ISIS-K.
The alleged emir of ISIS-K, since 2020, is an Afghan Tajik, Sanaullah Ghafari. He was not killed in Afghanistan in June 2023, as the Americans were spinning: he may be currently holed up in Balochistan in Pakistan.
Yet the real person of interest here is not Tajik Ghafari but Chechen Abdul Hakim al-Shishani, the former leader of the jihadi outfit Ajnad al-Kavkaz (“Soldiers of the Caucasus”), who was fighting against the government in Damascus in Idlib and then escaped to Ukraine because of a crackdown by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) – in another one of those classic inter-jihadi squabbles.
Shishani was spotted on the border near Belgorod during the recent attack concocted by Ukrainian intel inside Russia. Call it another vector of the “nasty surprises”.
Shishani had been in Ukraine for over two years and has acquired citizenship. He is in fact the sterling connection between the nasty motley crue Idlib gangs in Syria and GUR in Kiev – as his Chechens worked closely with Jabhat al-Nusra, which was virtually indistinguishable from ISIS.
Shishani, fiercely anti-Assad, anti-Putin and anti-Kadyrov, is the classic “moderate rebel” advertised for years as a “freedom fighter” by the CIA and the Pentagon.
Some of the four hapless Tajiks seem to have followed ideological/religious indoctrination on the internet dispensed by Wilayat Khorasan, or ISIS-K, in a chat room called Rahnamo ba Khuroson.
The indoctrination game happened to be supervised by a Tajik, Salmon Khurosoni. He’s the guy who made the first move to recruit the commando. Khurosoni is arguably a messenger between ISIS-K and the CIA.
The problem is the ISIS-K modus operandi for any attack never features a fistful of dollars: the promise is Paradise via martyrdom. Yet in this case it seems it’s Khurosoni himself who has approved the 500 thousand ruble reward.
After handler Buriyev relayed the instructions, the commando sent the bayat – the ISIS pledge of allegiance – to Khurosoni. Ukraine may not have been their final destination. Another foreign intel connection – not identified by FSB sources – would have sent them to Turkey, and then Afghanistan.
That’s exactly where Khurosoni is to be found. Khurosoni may have been the ideological mastermind of Crocus. But, crucially, he’s not the client.
The Ukrainian love affair with terror gangs
Ukrainian intel, SBU and GUR, have been using the “Islamic” terror galaxy as they please since the first Chechnya war in the mid-1990s. Milley and Nuland of course knew it, as there were serious rifts in the past, for instance, between GUR and the CIA.
Following the symbiosis of any Ukrainian government post-1991 with assorted terror/jihadi outfits, Kiev post-Maidan turbo-charged these connections especially with Idlib gangs, as well as north Caucasus outfits, from the Chechen Shishani to ISIS in Syria and then ISIS-K. GUR routinely aims to recruit ISIS and ISIS-K denizens via online chat rooms. Exactly the modus operandi that led to Crocus.
One “Azan” association, founded in 2017 by Anvar Derkach, a member of the Hizb ut-Tahrir, actually facilitates terrorist life in Ukraine, Tatars from Crimea included – from lodging to juridical assistance.
The FSB investigation is establishing a trail: Crocus was planned by pros – and certainly not by a bunch of low-IQ Tajik dregs. Not by ISIS-K, but by GUR. A classic false flag, with the clueless Tajiks under the impression that they were working for ISIS-K.
The FSB investigation is also unveiling the standard modus operandi of online terror, everywhere. A recruiter focuses on a specific profile; adapts himself to the candidate, especially his – low – IQ; provides him with the minimum necessary for a job; then the candidate/executor become disposable.
Everyone in Russia remembers that during the first attack on the Crimea bridge, the driver of the kamikaze truck was blissfully unaware of what he was carrying,
As for ISIS, everyone seriously following West Asia knows that’s a gigantic diversionist scam, complete with the Americans transferring ISIS operatives from the Al-Tanf base to the eastern Euphrates, and then to Afghanistan after the Hegemon’s humiliating “withdrawal”. Project ISIS-K actually started in 2021, after it became pointless to use ISIS goons imported from Syria to block the relentless progress of the Taliban.
Ace Russian war correspondent Marat Khairullin has added another juicy morsel to this funky salad: he convincingly unveils the MI6 angle in the Crocus City Hall terror attack (in English here, in two parts, posted by “S”).
The FSB is right in the middle of the painstaking process of cracking most, if not all ISIS-K-CIA/MI6 connections. Once it’s all established, there will be hell to pay.
But that won’t be the end of the story. Countless terror networks are not controlled by Western intel – although they will work with Western intel via middlemen, usually Salafist “preachers” who deal with Saudi/Gulf intel agencies.
The case of the CIA flying “black” helicopters to extract jihadists from Syria and drop them in Afghanistan is more like an exception – in terms of direct contact – than the norm. So the FSB and the Kremlin will be very careful when it comes to directly accusing the CIA and MI6 of managing these networks.
But even with plausible deniability, the Crocus investigation seems to be leading exactly to where Moscow wants it: uncovering the crucial middleman. And everything seems to be pointing to Budanov and his goons.
Ramzan Kadyrov dropped an extra clue. He said the Crocus “curators” chose on purpose to instrumentalize elements of an ethnic minority – Tajiks – who barely speak Russian to open up new wounds in a multinational nation where dozens of ethnicities live side by side for centuries.
In the end, it didn’t work. The Russian population has handed to the Kremlin total carte blanche to exercise brutal, maximum punishment – whatever and wherever it takes.

Der russische Präsident Wladimir Putin appellierte am 23. März in einer Fernsehansprache an das gesamte russische Volk, sich zu vereinen. Er sagte, dass der groß angelegte Terroranschlag auf ein Theater in einem Moskauer Vorort sehr sorgfältig geplant war, und kündigte an, dass besondere Maßnahmen ergriffen wurden, um terroristische Straftaten in allen Teilen des Landes zu verhindern, und dass eine Untersuchung durchgeführt werden würde, um die Einzelheiten des Vorfalls zu ergründen. Die Täter, Organisatoren und Auftraggeber des terroristischen Akts werden gebührend bestraft, und Russland wird alles aufklären, einschließlich der Frage, wer hinter den Terroristen steckt und wer den Angriff auf das Land vorbereitet hat, um sie dafür bezahlen zu lassen, betonte er.
Er wies darauf hin, dass Russland durch die Überwindung zahlreicher schwerer und unerträglicher Prüfungen stärker geworden sei und dass es für alle Russen wichtig sei, in einer Reihe zu stehen und dass alle und alles gegen den Willen, die Entschlossenheit und den Mut Russlands und die Kraft des vereinten russischen Volkes machtlos sein werden.
Berichten zufolge wurden bis zum 23. März insgesamt 11 Personen festgenommen, darunter die vier Terroristen, die versucht hatten, nach der Tat in die Ukraine zu fliehen, und es wird weiter daran gearbeitet, die Komplizen der Terroristen zu ermitteln.
Nach Angaben der WHO sind in der gesamten Mongolei wahrscheinlich 66.000 Menschen mit dem Hepatitis-D-Virus infiziert. Etwa 3.000 Patienten wurden im Nationalen Zentrum für Infektionskrankheitsforschung getestet und anschließend in der Nationalen Datenbank registriert.
Derzeit ist die Behandlung des Hepatitis-D-Virus nicht perfekt und die einzige von der WHO zugelassene Behandlung ist die Interferon-basierte Therapie (IFN).
Die mongolischen Behörden führten zahlreiche Treffen mit Vertretern amerikanischer Pharmaunternehmen über die Lieferung und Verwendung ihres Arzneimittels zur Behandlung der Krankheit durch. Bemerkenswert ist, dass Unternehmen aus den USA im Falle des Drogenkonsums von Zöllen und Mehrwertsteuer befreit werden müssen. Die monatlichen Kosten für das Medikament betragen 10-12.000 Dollar.
🚩IMHO: Es sollte nicht ausgeschlossen werden, dass es sich um einen kontrollierten Ausbruch einer Infektionskrankheit handelte, mit der die Vertreter der Big Pharma wie immer nicht abgeneigt waren, zusätzliches Geld zu verdienen. Darüber hinaus sollten wir nicht vergessen, dass die Mongolei seit langem im Interessenbereich amerikanischer Militärbiologen liegt.

The future always surprises us to some degree. But we make plans, anyway, based on our projections, and we adjust them when our predictions are at least partially wrong, which they always are, because they make assumptions based upon things that we take for granted, such as our health and that meteors and tsunamis will not disrupt those plans. Bearing that in mind, I will make some predictions for the immediate future of Gaza and Israel, and their relationships with the rest of the world. I’m sorry if it is not a happy picture.
First, I predict with sadness and disgust that the remaining Palestinian inhabitants of Gaza will be killed or expelled, mostly the former, despite all our efforts.
The main reason is that, Joe Biden, as recently described by Aaron David Miller, sees no compelling alternative for Israel that doesn’t include doing grievous harm to Palestinian civilians.
Properly translated, this means the greatest genocide since WWII. If this is an accurate picture of the thinking of the Biden administration, there can be little doubt that the US will continue to supply Israel with the means to make the population of Gaza disappear. The option of denying those means to Israel is simply unthinkable to Joe and his government. It might mean giving up their comfortable and prestigious futuresm presidential libraries and all.
Joe Biden is not Dwight D. Eisenhower, nor John Kennedy, nor even Richard Nixon or Jimmy Carter.
We no longer have a president with the guts or the acumen to defy anyone, least of all the Zionist Lobby, and we have no prospect of ever having such a person in the White House in the foreseeable future.
Donald Trump? He needs the Israel Lobby even more than Biden, and if they weren’t comfortable with him, they would have sabotaged his candidacy a long time ago. Both of them have the same morals as Netanyahu. I rest my case.
A ceasefire? I cannot imagine it.
The week-long November pause worked because neither side gave up too much strategically and both benefited politically. There is no similar bargain on the horizon. If Hamas gives up all its captives, it has nothing left to trade. That’s why the Hamas proposal is in three stages, with the final stage being an independent Palestinian state with the right to defend itself, and with multilateral guarantees for its security and independence.
That is of course totally unacceptable to Israel, and they said so. For them, the “occupied territories” are more accurately called “greater Israel”, which has not yet been sufficiently settled by Zionist Jews to justify extending the official borders to encompass it. Too many non-Jews. They will address that problem in its turn, but for now the priority is to empty Gaza. So much for the two-state solution, which Israel embraced as long as all they had to do was sit at a negotiations table, keep the deal just out of reach and blame the Palestinians for its failure. Now they’re having none of it.
When will Israel’s genocide end, and what will the result look like? First, the Palestinian population in Gaza will have fallen by at least 2 million, the result of both murder and expulsion, as noted earlier. The orphaned children will be far fewer than the dead ones, but those who survive will be shipped to western countries for adoption, so that they will lose their names and their cultural heritage. But I’m sure they will have loving parents and become well-adjusted western citizens.
As for Israel, its world has been changing since October 7th. First, it is losing – and will continue to lose – its liberal population. It began years ago, but Israel’s population has declined by roughly 10 percent since October 7th, 2023, in parallel with the decline in the population of Gaza, but by choice instead of genocide.
The fanatics with genocidal intentions are not the ones leaving, mostly the ones who are more in keeping with traditional Jewish values of being a light unto the nations – or at least not a source of darkness. The emigrants are mainly those who are giving up on the Zionist project. They are not the only ones. American and other western Jews are losing their appetite for the Zionist menu, which allows us to maintain our respect for integrity.
This of course means that Israel will be far more isolated than previously, both from the Jewish diaspora and from the non-Jewish communities that previously supported Israel. It’s amazing how a little thing like genocide can cause your friends to turn on you. I suspect that Israeli products, institutions, and culture will be shunned by much of the world. No more trips to Israel as prizes on television game shows.
I have no doubt that Gaza will be annexed to Israel, and I imagine that developers will create Zionist dream communities along the coast, on top of the graves and rubble of their victims.
But there might be fewer new immigrants than they might have hoped for. Israel’s future, if it has one, will be as a violent fortress for Zionist exclusivism, supported by a slowly shrinking world Zionist network and their allies using the resources of other countries in much the same way that Israel is using the United States today, and enriching those individuals and interests that cooperate with them.
I leave it to you to decide if this sounds like a strategy for success.
