On February 23, 2024, the Ukrainian army releases a video which is showing an Abrams tank in operation in the northwestern vicinity of Avdeevka, Donetsk People’s Republic, that the Russian forces liberated on February 17.
After the failure of the German Leopards, the US has previously demanded that its tanks were kept in reserve, in order to avoid their public destruction. But the military situation is so serious that such PR issue seems now negligible.
The 47th Ukrainian mechanized brigade is already equipped with US Bradley infantry fighting vehicles (IFV) and Leopards, was trounced during the failed Atlanticist counter-offensive in Zaporozhye region.
